Name: Dante S. Starfall
Species: Troodon
Age: Equivalent to an 17-18 year old human
Height: His head is about equal to Littlefoots
Coloration: Mostly Black, with Red stripes on his arms and the middle of his back. Long, Jagged scar on his left side, with mutliple red lines leading to it. Fire-like Dark black mark on his right forearm.
Eyes: Pale Blue
Defining Characteristics: Necklace--Blue stone with the names of his new and old friends carved into it.
Ring--Same type of stone, carved into a band around his right middle claw. Gift from Arius
Personality: Dante is an eccentric, likeable raptor with a tragic past. Abandoned by his family for his mysterious powers, he wandered alone for some time until he met Arius, a raptor who took him in and trained him how to fight. After discovering the fact that Dante was blind in his left eye, he taught him how to use spinning movements to conceal that fact. Dante hates the sight of blood, and is actually a leaf-eater. His power, which is in fact the spirit of a long-dead sharpclaw daemon, is concealed within his left eye, and it manifests when his eye changes color from blue to gold. He also has a curse on his right arm, which imbues him with great strength, but it also deprives him of his sanity, leaving him a heartless killer. He tries hard to be accepted, and often will risk his own life to protect others.
He's afraid of Thunder and of Rocks Falling...

Likes: Sleeping, Goofing Off
Dislikes: Having to work hard, Being woken up.
Weapons: Twin straight branches carved into Boken, carried across his back, used as swords if he has to fight something too strong for his kicks. Unbreakable(?)

Falling Star: Dante runs up a wall or similar object, flips off of it, and drops onto his opponent with a devastating kick
Meteor: Dante throws his staves at an enemy, then follows it up with a fierce spinning kick to their head.
Aerial Dance of a Thousand Spiral Wings: Dante races along a wall towards his foe, then carries them into the air with a series of brutal kicks and tail strikes. He then slams them down with a handstand-style spinning split kick on the ground
Black Flame Destroyer (Sankakku attack): Dante, posessed by the demon inside him, summons black flames and uses them to burn his opponent to cinders.

Starfall, awesome character. I plan to reveal the past of Vylor and Argaya in Enemies Inside. If you read my fanfic, the name of Vylor is only one letter off from Vylon, and Argaya is one letter off from Argana.

Though I think I"m doing an ok job of Ducky & Petrie. Though the tourist may fit in better since he is a semi telepath like all time lords.

Also, I need to know the next type of weather that will occur. I am putting a vote for a fairly large super-cell with tornadoes when the main villain arrives. Somewhat based on LBT VI.

The villain's name has been decided as Dark-Eye. Also, we need to decide the weather for when the villain enters the valley.

Traditional would be maybe dark clouds or something like that. Maybe a chill in the air.

I don't want it to seem as though he is evil, though. I want him to be cunning, deceptive, and subtle. I don't want outright evil. However, I think a powerful storm like in LBT VI would be good.

I think that dark clouds, something subtle to the other Great Valley residents, might be a good Idea. That way, only those who can sense him are aware...

This is my idea.
Someone is in danger, then Dark-Eye comes in and saves that person's life. He then proceeds to manipulate the gang of seven, but Argaya, Dante, Longtail, and Vylor sense his deception.

I am just going to make this clear: I am not a totalitarian omnipotent RPG ruler. I asked about the weather first. no one responded against it, so I assumed everyone agreed.

It seems to me that major weather changing storms are a rather large plot device in several current LBT based fanfics....inclding mine! :lol

To be different if I did any fanfiction or rp thread I'd have the weather the same all the way through.

Weather is a good way of subliminal foreshadowing and suspense.

Though one does not need that. If everyone is doing that I"d be different and say the weather is always the same. If it always occurs then some smart dinos would start to notice.

It isn't necessary, but it is a good resource. Weather is not usually on the reader's mind, so it is perfect for foreshadow.

It's usually on mine. We old folks notice certain things you kids sometimes do not.

Thought: Perhaps have a second villain. Then it could be Longtail and Dante against one, and Vylor and Argaya against Dark-eye.

Actually, I think that Longtail and Dante should go against Dark-Eye, and Argaya and Vylor tackle a different villain.

This RPG seems to be doing what One Long Tail would - giving information on Longtail.
I was not going to write a fan fic for Vylor and Argaya, because of something you will see later, but if I was, this RPG is doing it's job as well.

Race: This is going to get discriptive so please bear with me.... He is by technicallity a 'threehorn' However his horns are place just a bit diffrently than normal...His dominat horn he use as a spear/javileine to jab his opponets...And his two minor horns rise out above his nose, actually acting akin to a targeting cross-hair for his unlucky enemy...
Unfortuantly he absolutly HATES Longtail....as they had a run-in in the Mysterious Beyond...and it ended badly for both of them....now Korr won't rest until Longtail lies at his feet.....dead!

This could set up nicely for a two-on-two battle. Dante vs Virgil, and Longtail vs. Korr, then Longtail and Dante (Both in their powered states) against Dark-Eye...

Actually, i was thinking more along the lines of Longtail and Dante going to face Dark-Eye, and then Virgil and Korr are after them. Then Vylor and Argaya come in and stop them, and two epic fight scenes are born.
And, also, so am I Guardian. :D

I've been reading this and I think it is turning out well, I hope it will be better once the story itself begin to progress more. Many interesting stories are about things that are not what they seem, afterall this world (now or 150 million years ago) was, is and never will be just black or white.
I like the direction this story is taking, keep it up!

Well, the Great Valley Guardian was only inviting me to join, and if I do join I would always say that I want to join, afterall that's the correct way to do things ;) .
Before I attempt to join I have too many things to read first, and since I have never RPG-ed before in english nor in the internet I may really need some guide before I begin tearing the story apart :lol .
I may need to create a fan character for the LBT because my only characters are from a fan story for Dink the Little Dinosaur something like 10 years ago :blink: .

Feel free to either here, or the gm may prefer you start your own thread for this. Just say what sort of character you'd like to play if you need help. Some characteristics you'd like the character to have and folks here can use their LBT and dino expertise to help you to make a character. :yes If you did your own thread you could get many suggestions from the folks here.
The only thing is some of the rp's here allow magic and psi and some do not so if you are doing a LBT character who has some of those or other things that is not pure LBT you may need to tweak your character to fit into a pure LBT rp.

This isn't the final battle, right? This is just where our heroes get a little messed up by the enemies, and realize that they have to be much stronger?

Yes. The enemies escape. They will come back, stronger. So the heroic OCs will have to become stronger.

True, which is part of why I"ve mostly stopped posting, it's their story, no need of anyone else.
As for the defeat, heroes often face defeat before they win over the villain, it happens in nearly every bit of fiction I've read or seen.

About Longtail, the fight with his inner demons is very good for this and other stories (about characters with the same problems) because it adds more suspense and it is always interesting to see.

I need to think of how Vylor and Argaya will benefit.
I might not have noted this before, but Vylor is a powerful warrior. Especially in his elven form. He has a set of armor that I will reveal later, and that armor is not only a defense, but also a weapon of its own.

Yeah... I could tell that Vylor was good. His fight against Dark-Eye sorta proved that. Oh, how about some pictures of this stuff? Vylor, Argaya, and the armor?
Kinda like how I'm working on Dante's swords, and his Dark Morph form.

As for the armor, think of clone troopers for the torso, legs, and arms. As for the helm, think of a dragon's head. Like the one on the cover of Eragon.
