This game is for all of you Nightwish buffs out there. I believe you guys all know how this goes. :p
Tell me if this sentence is true:
"Tuomas' likes include: Movies, books, Disney, traveling, and hiking."
That might be a little too easy. :p
-
That's completely true. :D
-
Of course the Nightwish expert would join this trivia! :P:
That is correct. Your turn! :D
-
Well "expert" is debatable! :p
Let's see here...question...
How many performances has Nightwish performed publically with a live orchestra?
-
I'll just make a guess, I'm having a hard time trying to find information about that for some reason. Probably because I'm tired. :p
I guess...34???
-
Nope, sorry.
-
Reviving this topic:
14 live performances.
-
Oh oops, forgot about this one. :p
Actually according to an interview, Nightwish has never successfully been able to have a live show with a full orchestra, sadly, mainly because touring is so expensive and impractical. :( As a result, live shows just use studio recordings of the orchestral parts playing in the background.
I'll give someone else a turn to throw a question up. Sorry, that was a mean one :p
-
Wow, that's sad. :cry2 No wonder why their live concerts aren't "too" great. I mean I have heard them and watched them on youtube, but now that all makes sense.
Okay, I'll try just to get this game come along.
What song is this line from?: "They are the last ones to bleed."
-
10th man down. Only Nightwish song I've ever heard.
-
I don't know this one but I'm going to guess anyway.. :p
"Beauty and the Beast"?
-
LB&T is correct!
Your turn!
-
Crud. I know absolutely nothing about Nightwish, I'd only ever heard that one song. Google time!
Before joining Nightwish, Anette Olzon was a member of a tribute band for what palindromic quartet?
-
I don't know but the first thing coming to mind with that description, LB&T, is ABBA. Am I on the right track?
-
You are! That's right!
-
Kewl!
Alrighty, let me see......
What is the 2nd longest Nightwish song ever, according to the lengths on the CDs and excluding instrumental-only tracks?
-
I'm guessing Fantasmic...
-
Nope, it's longer than Fantasmic. ;)
-
Is it the "Beauty of the Beast?"
-
Aye, that it is, at 10:23. ;)
Your turn!
-
OK. Here's an easy one:
From 1997 to 1998, Nightwish performed only seven times because three of the band were preoccupied by something else. What were the band members doing?
-
Should I try another question?
-
Those three members had some important things they had to get done. They chose their actions well. Two of them, Nevalainen and Vuorinen, had an obligation to the military. The other, Turunen, decided to finish up her schooling. Fighting for what you believe in and bettering one's knowledge are more than valid excuses to take a leave of absense.
-
Your turn then!
-
One of the members had a mother that got this member to play the oboe for eight years. Which member was this?
