Chapter 5:

*Grandma & Grandpa Longneck lift their necks in shock by Littlefoot's question*

Grandpa: Oh Sally?

Grandma: Oh we were great friends with her.. why do you ask Littlefoot?

*Littlefoot didn't give the true reason, but gave a back up reason*

Littlefoot: Well I realized that.. I don't have a Mom... and Cera doesn't either... at least.. anymore.

*Grandma & Grandpa laugh*

Grandpa: Well, Sally loved collecting crystals at a young age. She was best friends with Petrie's mother; Terri. They'd go find crystals all over the world; but Sally was more passionate about crystals then Terri. They were the best of friends, until Topsy came into Sally's life and didn't let dinosaurs be friends with different dinosaurs.

Grandma: Yes, oh.. remember her favorite crystal sweetie?

*Grandma looked at Grandpa*

*Grandpa nodded*

Grandpa: It was a nice red velvet color, with periwinkle in the middle.. It was beautiful.

Grandma: Yes, until Pterano stole it from the girls because he was jealous Terri was spending more time with Sally then him.

*Littlefoot was shocked*

Littlefoot: What did he do with the crystal?

Grandpa: He threw it into a smoking mountain near their old nesting places.

*Grandpa shook his head*

Grandma: Pterano gets me so upset, Sally and Terri wanted to show that crystal to they're children one day.

Grandpa: After the incident with Pterano, the girls had crystal caves that Pterano didn't know about.

Grandma: Yes, and they actually had one not too far from the Great Valley.

Grandpa: Oh, I thought it was in the Great Valley? Underground?

Littlefoot: Do you mean the Canyon of the Shiny Stones?

Grandma: Oh, no; but they did collect crystals from there. Honey, I think your right; it was under the Great Valley near the Tree Sweet Tree.

Grandpa: Oh yes! That's it!

Littlefoot: Do you know why Tria collected a few crystals?

Grandma: Oh, I'm sure just because they are pretty. It doesn't relate to Sally and Terri though.

Grandpa: Well, I think it's time we all get some sleep..

Grandma: I agree.

Littlefoot: Okay..

*Grandma & Grandpa lie down and shut their eyes*

*Littlefoot goes to his little nest and lies down*

Littlefoot: I'll find a way..

*He whispers to himself*

*He shut his eyes, and went to sleep*

I really like your backstory here, it does a great job explaining the relationships between the characters and their actions, like how Topsy kept Sally away from all the other herds (and thus the audience), more reason on why Topsy loathes Pterano, how Pterano and Terri seem to be quite strained considering they're brother and sister. And yuck, Pterano is really horrible here! Interesting that Cera's mom and Mama Flyer are best friends, I'm curious on how Mama Flyer will fit in here. And of course, I'm also wondering what Littlefoot's up to? Great cliffhanger and this story is fantastic!

Chapter 6:

*Littlefoot woke up to the morning sky*

Littlefoot: Okay, I know what I am going to do; I just need to talk to one more dinosaur.

*Littlefoot made his way over to Petrie's family rock*

Littlefoot: Ms. Flyer?

Terri: Yes?

Petrie: Littlefoot! Hi!

*Littlefoot chuckled*

Littlefoot: Hi, Petrie.

Littlefoot: Ms. Flyer, I was interested in hearing you collected crystals?

Terri: Yes, Littlefoot. What would you like to know?

Littlefoot: Well, your crystal caves; can you tell me more about them?

*Terri chuckled*

Terri: Sure, well Sally and I had 3 caves. 1 for me, and 1 for her to put our crystals in, and then the third one held the most precious crystals.. we wanted to show them to you kids someday. I showed my kids... Poor Sally.

Littlefoot: Oh and where are the caves, out of curiosity?

Terri: The 2 personal caves are out in the Mysterious Beyond, probably ruined by the earthshake. The third one is in the Great Valley. Hey, does this have anything to do with Cera’s crystal dilemma?

Littlefoot: Um, I was just interested; I hear you collected crystals from all over the world?

Terri: Ah, yes.

Littlefoot: Well, thank you Ms. Flyer for answering my questions.

Terri: Your welcome, hun.

Littlefoot: Is Petrie available?

Terri: Why yes, he is.

Littlefoot: Come on Petrie, let’s go find tree stars!

Petrie: Whatever you say, Littlefoot.

*Petrie and Littlefoot make their way towards the opposite side of the Great Valley*

*Petrie and Littlefoot stop*

Littlefoot: Hey, here are some tree stars!

*Littlefoot grabbed some tree stars off the trees*

Petrie: Um, Littlefoot; not that Petrie don’t like tree stars because Petrie love tree stars, why are we getting tree stars?

Littlefoot: I tell you, but first; go get Ducky and Spike and meet me at the Canyon of Shiny Stones.

Petrie: Okay..

*Petrie left to go get Ducky and Spike*

*Littlefoot went to the Canyon of Shiny Stones carrying two tree stars on his back, with a smile on his face*

*Littlefoot arrived, and shortly after the others did too*

Ducky: What is this about?

*Spike made a noise*

Petrie: I don’t know..

*Littlefoot chuckled*

Littlefoot: We all know Cera is in the worst state we have ever seen her in, and we need to be there as her friends and make her feel better.

Ducky: Yes, but Littlefoot; remember the crystals probably…

*Littlefoot cut Ducky off*

Littlefoot: Got ruined in the earthshake, I know.

Petrie: Well then… What we do?

Ducky: Yes, yes, yes; what?

Littlefoot: We won’t be leaving the Great Valley.

*Ducky, Petrie and Spike all looked at each other confused*

Littlefoot: You’ll figure out what we are doing soon, I promise.

*Littlefoot chuckled*

*Ducky, Petrie and Spike all looked at each other confused again*

*Littlefoot laughed*

Littlefoot: I promise guys! Now I’m going to need your help...

Ducky: What do you want us to do?

Littlefoot: Well first, Ducky, you go inside the Canyon of Shiny Stones, and find the prettiest crystal in there! Petrie, you hold onto these two tree stars and the crystal Ducky finds. Spike, you come with me.  Ducky, Petrie; when you’re finished, meet Spike and I outside of the Tree Sweet Tree.

Ducky: Okay.

Petrie: Okay.

*Spike nods and makes a noise*

Littlefoot: Okay!

*Littlefoot smiled*

Yay, your story is back  ! Glad to see Littlefoot’s got something up his sleeve to help Cera feel better. And I’m really curious about this cave too!

Interesting story so far! The chapters are short but a lot of things actually happen! Script style tends to be a bit quicker to read than normal writing
So this story is focussing on Cera and missing her mother and about those crystals that have a lot of importance for her.
First I really thought you'd actually have the Gang doing the journey to the Great Valley again (just travelling in the opposite direction) but it rather seems that what Littlefoot is looking for is actually within the walls of the Great Valley.
Also I'd like to point out that I like your flashbacks. The grammar also improved since the first chapter and you always use the right time now

I'm looking forward to read your next chapter

*Littlefoot runs off with Spike to the tree sweet tree*

Ducky: Well, we might as well go get the two crystals, Petrie.

Petrie: Mhm, Okay.

*Ducky and Petrie enter the Canyon of Shiny Stones*

*Ducky and Petrie look around shocked by all the pretty stones*

*Ducky sees a crystal*

Ducky: Petrie, look!

*Ducky grabs the crystal*

Ducky: It's a pretty blue crystal, Cera would like this!

Petrie: Yeah!

Ducky: Can you hold onto this while I look for another?

Pertie: Sure!

Ducky: This is fun! Yep, yep yep!

Petrie: Yeah!

*Ducky and Petrie walk deeper into the cave*

*Ducky spots another crystal*

Ducky: Petrie! Look at this one! It's pink! Cera's favorite color!

Petrie: Oh! She'd love that one!

Ducky: Yes, yes yes!

Petrie: Can we go now? Petrie can't hold tree stars and crystal much longer.

*Petrie struggles*

*Ducky was holding the pink crystal while Petrie held the blue*

Ducky: Yes!

*Ducky giggled a bit*

*Ducky and Petrie ran over to the Tree Sweet Tree*

*Ducky and Petrie arrive at the Tree Sweet Tree*

Littlefoot: That was fast!

*Spike makes a noise*

Littlefoot: Can I see the crystals you picked out?

*Ducky and Petrie set the crystals and tree stars down*

Littlefoot: Perfect!

*Littlefoot looks over at Spike*

Littlefoot: Okay guys, we need to find that crystal cave!

*The gang looks around*

*15 minutes goes by but then Spike stepped on a rock*

*Spike makes a noise*

*Suddenly they look behind Spike and see moss hanging from a huge hill*

Littlefoot: I wonder........

*Littlefoot went up to the hill and gently pushed the moss away*

*Littlefoot's eyes stare at a cave filled with beautiful crystals of all colors and sizes*

Littlefoot: Guys! I think this is it!

*They all smile and walk inside*

*Petrie remembers from his childhood when Terri showed him and his siblings their side*

Petrie: Yes! Look here!

*Petrie points to the left*

Petrie: See! This side says "Flyer"!

*He points to the right*

Petrie: That side says "Threehorn"!

*Everyone looks to the right*

*They all look at the crystals*

Littlefoot: These are all the crystals Sally wanted to show Cera..

*Ducky, Petrie and Spike nodded*

*A tear ran down Littlefoot's cheek*

Littlefoot: Spike, I need your help!

*Littlefoot walked out of the cave and walked downwards a little*

*Everyone followed*

*Spike made a noise*

Littlefoot: Right here, Spike we need to make a cave.

Littlefoot: Petrie, can you perhaps go to the Thundering Falls and collect some moss?

Petrie: Of course!

*Petrie flew off to collect moss*

Littlefoot: Ducky, can you grab the tree stars and crystals we set down?

Ducky: Yep, yep, yep!

*Ducky went to get the tree stars and crystals*

*Littlefoot looked at Spike*

Littlefoot: Okay, Spike! Do your thing!

*Littlefoot took a few steps back*

*Spike took his tail and threw it onto the hill and made a crack*

*Littlefoot and Spike started to dig an entrance with the front feet*

*Littlefoot grabbed a stick near the Tree Sweet Tree*

*Littlefoot went into the cave they had just created and went inside and wrote "Cera", big on the wall*

*Petrie and Ducky returned with the supplies*

Littlefoot: Thank you!

Ducky: Yep, yep, yep!

Petrie: Your welcome!

*Littlefoot took the tree stars and crystals, he set the two tree stars down and the two crystals on top of them, then Littlefoot went on the top of the hill and placed the moss over the cave entrance, and then wrote Cera again on the side of front of the cave*

*Littlefoot stood back and caught his breath, he then smiled*

*Spike, Petrie, and Ducky smiled as well*

Ducky: Cera is going to be so happy! Yes, yes yes!

*Spike made a noise*

Petrie: Yeah!

*Littlefoot looked at them and smiled*

Littlefoot: Let's go get Cera!

Ducky: Yes, yes, yes! Let's!

Petrie: Okay!

*Spike made a noise*

*Littlefoot, Petrie, Spike and Ducky went towards Cera's nesting place*

*Littlefoot, Petrie, Spike and Ducky arrived at Cera's nesting place*

Littlefoot: Cera?

*Cera was lying down on her small hill*

Cera: Yes?

Littlefoot: We have something to show you!

*Cera stood up*

Cera: Alright..

Ducky: Follow us, Cera!

*The Gang ran to the Tree Sweet Tree*

*The Gang arrived at the Tree Sweet Tree*

Cera: The Tree Sweet Tree?

*Cera looked confused*

Littlefoot: Nope, come here!

*Littlefoot smirked and lead Cera in the direction of Sally & Terri's cave*

Littlefoot: Step inside.

*Littlefoot smiled*

*Cera with a face trying to grab expression, went inside*

*Cera looked to the right side, and smiled*

*She started crying*

Cera: My Mom's crystals!

*She looked at all the crystals while crying heavily*

Cera: Thank you guys! Thank you for showing me!

Littlefoot: That's not all!

*Littlefoot, Spike, Petrie and Ducky giggled*

Cera: What do you mean?

Littlefoot: Follow us!

*Littlefoot smiled*

*The Gang went outside Sally & Terri's cave and went to the cave they made*

Littlefoot: Cera, this is your cave!

*Cera smiled and went inside*

*Cera laid her eyes on the crystals*

Cera: Thank you guys so much!

*Cera started crying even more*

Littlefoot: The blue one is from all of us..

*Littlefoot walked closer*

Littlefoot: The pink one is from me.

*Littlefoot looked at her and blushed*

*Cera blushed and looked at him*

Petrie: Now, you can collect crystals like your Mom Cera!
