I know, I know... Sonic the Hedgehog's fanbase and fanfic writers have quite a reputation. However, being a lifelong fan of the character, yet kind of falling out of love with the franchise over the years, I always wanted to come up with my own version of the Sonic universe. One that's mostly based on the old cartoon known now as SatAM and the original series of games on Sega MegaDrive (Genesis in the US). And last year I finally sat down to writing the Sonic fanfic I've been dreaming about for the last... Twenty... Years... Alright, now I'm starting to sound pathetic.
Anyway, seeing how I've only recently finished and uploaded the third chapter of my story entitled "Sonic REINTRODUCTION", I'd really like to know if there are any SonicTH fans around this here message board and if there are - get their opinion on my writing style. So without futher ado, here're my scribbles!

P.S. Be warned that the first chapter is really kinda weak. It's mostly exposition that sets up the events of the subsequent episodes and is somewhat badly written... But I promise it gets better by chapter 2. :

Probably the best "board game" one can play on Steam at the moment. And it features a whole lot of awesome anthropomorphic characters... Anyone's up for a match or two?

I understand the necessity and have no problem with companies region-locking their games, but some publishers are notorious for treating their customer base like dirt.
Case in point - Electronic Arts, whose policies are nothing short of insane: they're now language-locking their products, making it impossible to launch a game in any other tongue than the official language of the country it was bought it. Not only that, but users from non-English speaking countries get the same treatment on every service associated with said games. For instance message boards are getting segmented into separate forums with registered members being unable to post or reply outside of "their" part of the message board. When it comes to games that are heavily dependent on modding communities and the social aspect (such as The Sims or Spore) this makes huge groups of players unable to fully enjoy the game they paid their hard-earned money for. Not to mention that those of us who use video games as a way to practice their language skills and expand their vocabulary are tough out of luck.
The worst part is that they don't even feel the need to label their games to warn the customers of their incomplete functional. Yours truly already had to contact the EA customer support twice and demand that the copies of their products he bought be replaced with full, unrestricted versions. Was anyone else affected by this particular business malpractice?

Here's something that I wondered ever since I first saw LBTIII (even though it's my least favourite sequel, second only to the horrible LBTXIII): how did Hyp and his two goons became friends? It was made clear in the original movie that such bonds between members of different species were rare and occurred only out of great necessity or with extra anti-prejudice individuals. And since neither of the "big gang's" members seems the latter... Do Hyp, Mutt and Nod have a story of their own we just never got to learn about?

Does anyone here enjoys drawing pixelated versions of their favourite cartoon characters as much as I do? Case and point: a small sprite of Ruby I've put together in MS paint half an hour ago. Hope you guys will like it!

I've recently uploaded my first ever original work written in English (which isn't my native tongue, BTW). It's actually supposed to be the first chapter of a Neil Gaiman-ish novella I'm working on, but it's written in a way to make it readable as a stand-alone short story. I would be grateful for any kind of critique you guys can offer!
