Am I the only one who's bothered by the line "Though you look like you, we think you'll like us too" in the song "One Of Us Now" in LBT II? I always just found that line silly, even as a child. :p

I know...it's kind of odd.

Also, "As an egg you were a beauty but now you're really cutie"

Never really heard an egg described as a "beauty"...at least not one that wasn't dyed  :DD

Also...Littlefoot calls Ducky "baby" in the song.  :wow

I guess that line can only be read in the context of his looking like the carnivore who would supposedly consider them food only. It still sounds a little strange. It is not the only time though in which there are strange sounding lines in LBT songs. Ocassionally they mention stuff that would hardly be known in the land before time.

I'm pretty sure that "baby" actually referred to Chomper.

^ that's how I felt - Littlefoot was just reiterating the first line, not calling Ducky "baby" (I honestly wonder what would ensue if any of the gang called one of their member "baby" :lol)
Also, in regards to the 'beauty egg', Ducky goes to great lengths describing why it was her favorite egg (e.g. one of a kind, blue, orange, speckled, etc.) so I guess Littlefoot picked up on that...
an egg can be beautiful, too! :DD
