I wasn't sure where to put this. I found a video on YT. The guy who posted it claims that this is how they came up with LBT character designs.

Personally I don't agree as it doesn't make much sense. All the guy did was change the lines to be more LBT-like and concluded that's how they did the character designs. I think he's just jumping to conclusions too easily. I could easily do the same thing if I wanted, like take a picture of Rex from We're Back, recolor him and give him different lineart, and conclude that's how they did Chomper.

What are your thoughts on this?

Interesting.  Not sure if that is where they looked at for ideas for the designs, but it is possible.

We watched Fantasia in music class in 8th grade, and there was this scene in it, where an apatosaur and a t-rex were fighting, it looked just like Littlefoot's mother and Sharptooh. It was during the introduction.

I believe it was a Stegosaur and a Tyrannosaurus fighting.

It's a Stegosaurus fighting a Tyrannosaurus in Fantasia.

DH: I agree with you, although it could be marginally possible that in fact they could have used Fantasia as a influence I don't really believe that this is so, especially as the person responsible for the video only made changes in the lineart and incorporated it into the LBT style, something which anyone can do for any specific animated film.
