I saw the first movie sometime before I was 5, but I'm not sure exactly when. All I remember is taking the movie to pre-k for the class to watch.

It's very true that the others who did see it lost interest in it by now. I did for 14 years... I wouldn't be surprised if almost no one recorded it, personally I recorded very few things on tv and those things I did weren't movies. I owned all the movie I wanted to see.

I can say my favorite sequels so far are II,IV, and V. However, I haven't gotten a chance to watch the rest of the movies past 5 yet.

1988 Theatrical Release / Points of Interest.

If anything were to happen in the near future the original movie I think it would be a blu-ray release. I would like to see LBT in blu-ray format at some point, but as long as comcast has it as a free movie in hd I can wait. I suggest you watch it if you have comcast and an hd tv, it was amazing to watch it on my father's 52" sony. The quality was superb and really made the visual pop out in my opinion.

Well put Malte. I don't really care if I ever see the cut scenes or not, the feeling of nostalgia I get watching it the way it was shown to me as a child is enough for me.

So the uncut version still remains lost. I was expecting that to be the cut version anyway. At least the cut version is still a good movie

It would be amazing if it turns out to be the uncut version, but I believe that the uncut version is lost in time. Either way LBT will still remain as an incredible film!
