Do you have any favorite quotes?
Discuss.

How about this one:
"The first precondition to achieve something "completely impossible" is to be crazy enough to give it a try."

Scientists have calculated that the chance of anything so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one.
But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten.
Mort, Terry Pratchett
This is just contradictory of itself.

Well one of my favorite quotes, from "The Catcher in the Rye", uses a curse word and I'm not sure if I can put it up here XD
I like Hamlet. Not so much the story as a whole (it's good but I'm not much one for Shakespeare). I like it because it has some of the greatest lines I've ever heard (er, read):
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams.
The whole "To Be or Not to Be" speech is awesome, but long XD I'll pick out my favorite part
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep; ó
To sleep, perchance to dream: ó ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
Hamlet: Denmark's a prison.
Rosencrantz: Then is the world one.

If you want to quote something profane, censor it. For example.
Stan: Oh my God! They killed Kenny!
Cartman: There b*****ds!

Ah, grand. In that case, here's that quote from "Catcher in the Rye"
That's the whole trouble. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "**** you" right under your nose.
I like it because, in a figurative sense, it's very true.

"Lock all your doors and windows. Although a pane of glass may not stop a zombie, the sound of it's shattering will be the best warning you can get."
"The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks.
