General Land Before Time / LBT 14?

I'd go with generic Great Valley children. The gang's own children might be hard to do without canonising romantic pairings.

The scenario I'd picture for grown-up stuff: Opening scene of the movie, with a grown-up one of the gang getting asked "Tell us about when you (some adventure)". Then back to normal for the rest of the movie.

I doubt there would be a whole sequal of teens/adults. Maybe a few scenes though.

Actually, I think someone is copying my episode descriptions onto wikipedia. I might do the rest though.

UK time for LBT is 3pm to 4pm daily.
Actually it's only 3:30pm to 4pm now. But they also show the same episode at 6am, and an hour later on Boomerang +1. It's also on at 12:30pm and 4pm on Cartoonito.

Finally got to see more than the last few minutes of this episode.

Littlefoot, Ducky, Petrie and Chomper (followed by Hyp, Nod and Mutt) find a nest of Fastbiter eggs. They decide to carry the eggs away from the valley so the baby sharpteeth can grow up without eating anyone, and set off on a journey into the mysterious beyond. Of course there's also a very angry Fastbiter mother chasing them...

Songs:
- We Must Be Brave (to the tune of I Feel Mad).
- Adventuring (post-adventure version).

Another "movie character" episode.

No Cera, Spike or Ruby in this episode.

One thing I'm surprised by is that, according to your description, Cera doesn't let it go to her head.  In all honesty, I kinda thought she would. :)
I was surprised by that too.

One of the problems with this is that Boomerang doesn't identify the episode on the TV guide. That means the only way to know which episode it is, is to watch it.

British TV came up with another unseen episode this morning.

The episode starts with the gang running from two bellydraggers (alligators). Cera gets separated from the others and ends up trapped, but she accidentally sets off a rockslide that frightens the two sharpteeth away. When she finds the gang and tells them about it, Petrie flys around telling everyone in the valley, and suddenly everyone thinks Cera is a hero, even when she insists she isn't. However, the sharpteeth return, and they've brought friends...

The songs in the episode are "The Amazing Threehorn Girl", with a melody that I think is original, and an angry song (to the tune of I Feel Mad).

That would be good. Unfortunately, I can't do it.

I think they almost certainly were Hyp, Nod and Mutt.

On another note, assuming this episode isn't Sky-Fire Promise, that would make a total of 26 known episodes.

Hyp, Nod, and Mutt?
I think so. I didn't get a very good look at them.

The other day, I got home and switched on the TV to the last few minutes of LBT, just to see which episode had been on. What I found was an episode I'd never heard of.

The few minutes I saw had the gang with another group of young dinosaurs. I believe they were from one of the movies, I have a vague memory of them being mean. They and the gang were singing a post-adventure version of Adventuring.

Oh, and for people with British TV, LBT is showing on Cartoonito at 4pm as well as Boomerang, at 3:30pm.

General Land Before Time / The Land Before Time: the wisdom of friends
« on: September 07, 2007, 10:45:41 AM »
My thoughts:

There's not really much to go on. Only a small part of that video is actually related to The Wisdom of Friends. The rest is just scenes form other movies and the series.

The shots from TWOF only show the gang of five, no Ruby or Chomper. I think it is unlikely they'll be in this movie.

I'm concerned that the video shows every member of the gang by name, including Chomper, but not Ruby. I hope this doesn't mean they plan to write her out of the series. :(

Land Before Time TV Series (2007) / The FIRST episode you saw

Escape from the Mysterious Beyond. When I saw "stuck on a ledge with a sharptooth" in the description, I thought "must be a big ledge". Then I watched the episode and realised they meant sharptooth-as-in-raptor, lol.

I thought it was pretty good. Chomper seemed okay as a lead character, and the plot managed to be reasonably inventive around a standard learning point.

Is that american cartoon network or the european one? I have the UK one and I've never seen LBT there, I don't watch it that often, but you'd think they'd at least announce it.
LBT shows on Boomerang at 3pm on weekdays in the UK.

I don't get British TV in USA, I live in Scotland, lol.

LBT is showing on Boomerang here. 2 episodes at 3pm every weekday.

The way they did it was, they've been showing re-runs of the first 13 episodes. Then they started advertising "new episodes", which must be then last 13 since they started with Missing Fast-Water Adventure and went back to it after showing this.

It seems like they are showing the episodes in prduction order.

Okay, so I switched on LBT on British TV today expecting re-runs, and came across this. Seems British TV is getting episodes before anyone else. Makes a change.

This episode is very much about Spike. You can hear what Spike is thinking a lot of the time, and you see through his eyes too. Quite a few insights into Spike's character.

The plot goes: On the first day of the cold time, Mr. Thinknose tells the gang about Hard Water Sweets (frozen grapes), and the gang set off on an adventure to find them.

Songs - Adventuring (Spike version), Follow Me (same tune as Remembering).
