Horned King: Hey, I'm not even a major villain (in fact I was only in the first book, but barely).
Me: And the Black Cauldron isn't the first book! And an even more annoying character sacrifices himself.

Gah. I don't remember his name, but he was so snobby and arrogant >_< . The funny thing is that in the book, Gurgi was about to start smashing the cauldron from the INSIDE before the witches said that you die when you willingly go in the cauldron
