Currently playing 7 dayd to die with a few buds of mine. Outside of that I'm currently on another playthrough in Dark Souls (Remastered), and also playing some Sacred occassionally. I'm awaiting with excitement the september 18th Path of Exile expansion, which I'm planning to play thoroughly.

Silver Screen / The Last Jedi spoiler thread

I was disappointed in Ben. I thought he's gonna be all big and dark, but he's still a little kid with anger issues, who just got the power of an entire First Order legion under his command. Luke was portrayed as a human. And he is! He makes mistakes, then tries to avoid them, then tries to fix them.
It's bullsh*t that an Empire star destroyer can't catch up with the rebel ship tho, and the entire Casino planet scene felt dull and the small love line was unnecessery,

Luis Fonsi, Demi Lovato - …chame La Culpa

I'm sure everybody knows at least 1 song from Fonsi, so it's enough to say this is close enough in genre :P :D

Well, I hope Bloodborne will be available to play on PC one day. I'm also looking forward to play Nioh one day. The friend I have played through all the souls games so far with has promised it as a gift for me.

Dark Souls is certainly a very fun and atmospheric game series. :) You gotta love the way the overall feeling of the games as well as the overall playstyle. I love the first installment but I found the second one to be a disappointment while the third one was something in between. As for the best boss, I'd probably say Artorias because he was an extremely challenging, fun but also a fair fight with a nice music and a sad backstory. Other good bosses were Ornstein & Smough (obviously) and Manus while in the third one I enjoyed the Dancer and Abyss Watchers. The Nameless King and second Gwyn were extremely annoying though. I've never been into replaying the same game many times though so I don't know about the ng+s. As for Miracle of Sound and DS, I love his "Fires Far" for the second game and it's actually my favorite song from him. It's so epic and sad but also powerful... :smile

I know this thread is about DS but out of Miyazaki's games, Bloodborne is my favorite though. It's mainly the same thing as DS but it has the best story and atmosphere in any game I've seen and the music in it... :wow  :wow

I love Artorias too, when we first played the DLC with my friend we even had to bring in a third summon to bear him down. Then 2 years later, when I replayed solo, I had to learn his moveset, so I could beat him without a shield. I even dreamed about that bloody fight. Then came Manus, don't get me started... :S
The best music in the series I gotta give to Gwyn, AND the credits after that. When I first managed to beat Gwyn, and the credits music rolled, I was just sitting there, stunned and rejoicing.
In DS3 the Abyss watchers were really good, even so when I beat them with only parrying :D I hate the dancer though, can't seem to learn her moveset, so I just roll away and attack, when she is not, usually works xD
Both the nameless king and the soul of cinder were like 2-3 hours, 10-15 deaths (meaning embers, solo fighting). But the feelign when they finally fall is ecstatic :)
I haven't played Demon's souls or Bloodborne either, since I play on PC and I'm a keyboard&mouse gamer. But I have heard lots of goodies about those games too :)  And yes, Fires far is an epic song.

Hey there guys! The search returned 0 results so I think a Dark Souls topic has not existed before.
So, anything Dark Souls comes here. Which was your favourite? Best boss? Worst boss? Reached NG+7?
I myself started with Dark Souls 1, currently in NG+, working on the achievements. The DLC bosses are all nightmares, you don't succeed unless learning the attacks and dodge/counter times.
I also own Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the first sin edition. I still have to beat the last boss of both the main storyline and the last dlc, Crown of the ivory king, though I started not long ago a new character and I just entered Drangleic castle with him. Game is easy as hell, nothing like the first or the third installment. The base game's most frustrating boss is I'm pretty sure people will agree with me is Darklurker.
Dark Souls 3 is my favourite. Looks epic, plays epic, and smooth 60 fps  :lol  I still have the DLCs to beat, but I'm gathering strength for that, since Soul of Cinder was ohmygoshfacemelting.
Favourite Dark Souls fan music is Dan Bull's Epic rap of the third game, Aviator's Fading Light, and Miracle of Sound's epic music of the first Dark Souls.
I'm interested in your opinions and experiences! :)  :DD

Gamers Zone / What's your personal favorite "Game Over" screen?

Dark Souls had the best one :D When your character falls, the screen fades and in the middle the notorious 2 words come out.

Miracle of Sound also made a music video with the title, which is about the first game.

General Land Before Time / Getting to know you - LBT Style
« on: December 23, 2017, 11:58:28 AM »
1.) Most liked Land Before Time character - I'm a mainstream Littlefoot fan. He's brave, clever, and loveable :)

2.) Least liked Land Before Time character - Ozzy. He's a jerk, doesn't care about the feelings and/or personality of his own brother. He's violent, short-tempered and stupid.

3.) Most liked Land Before Time song - Dinosaur! His tail was swift as lighting!
Dinosaur! His heart was brave and pure!
Dinosaur! Whenever times were frightening. Call his name and he'd be there for sure.
Lone dinosaur.

4.) Least liked Land Before Time song - The mad song from the Big Freeze.

5.) Most liked Land Before Time film - The first one of course. ^^

6.) Least liked Land Before Time film - I watched at least 3 times both The day of the flyers and the attack of the little longnecks and I still have no idea what they were about, so I'd guess they are, but honestly, I love them all ^^

7.) Most memorable Land Before Time moment - In the first movie when Littlefoot is about to give up, but follows the fading memory of his mother through some rocks and the light starts shining over the area below which reveals to be the great valley. Tears everytime T_T

Welcome mate, nice to have you with us. Well as to an adult kid I see no problems with that. Besides I often go back and watch old children's TV shows whenever I feel like it and I am over 18. eg. Dragon Booster, The Silver Brumby, The Trapdoor ect. Hope you enjoy your time here.
Thank you, also, fellow Dragon Booster fan here as well :)

To everyone else: Thank you for the warm welcome :)

Hi everyone.

I found this message board a few days ago and I have registered in hopes of meeting new, interesting people with a common interest, which is very dear to me.
My name is Jarkore (internet name of course) and I'm a 23 years old guy from Hungary.
The LBT stuff: I have loved The land before time since my childhood. The first one was very frightening to me, (still it's the one I cried most on) but the others were all filled with joy and laughter. I haven't really dug into the series as I couldn't really continue after watching the first episode. Hoping I'll be able to watch A journey of the brave somehow.

Now the non-LBT stuff: I'm sort of what you'd call an "adult kid", even though I'm over 18 I often watch childish cartoons and I am able to get really emotional on them. Some of my favourites (beside LBT) are Dink the little Dinosaur, Kissyfur, My little pony: Friendship is magic, too much Disney to list, Cat city, Walking with Dinosaurs (yes, there is a kid's animated movie of this title).
I also enjoy cartoons of a more adult view, like South Park, The boondocks and The Simpsons.
I'm not a huge anime fan, but there's a few select special I have enjoyed, most notably Inuyasha (which I still haven't finished), Shiki, Elfen Lied and Yu-gi-oh.
Besides cartoons I'm a huge horror fan, I especially like ghost/supernatural themed horror movies.
I watch Supernatural and Lucifer currently, and might pick up on Walking Dead again. I like most kinds of music, my main interests revolve around metal and rap music.
I'm also a gamer, I currently play The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Oblivion, and Dark Souls. I really love and hate Dota 2.
About real life: I'm studying English Studies at University and work one day a week to provide for my hangouts with friends. I love beer.
Feel free to ask questions, I don't bite.
Free beer to everyone over the physical age of 18!  :)littlefoot
