1988 Theatrical Release / Was it true about Original Ending?
« on: July 20, 2013, 02:34:13 AM »

To me it sounds quiet possible to be something behind this. The movie was dark, and there are the things alredy mentioned in this topic,so this is at least an interesting interpretation of the ending if nothing is behind the rumor at all.I think the ending is happy anyway, becose they were in a better place, dead or alive.Of course we have the very solid proofs in the forms of sequels that the gang survived it.

too unrealistic
More unrealistic than talking dinosaurs, and straight standing t-rexes? :p
you sir dont know about the deleted scenes do you?

originally lbt was suppose to be like this

-finds rock that looks like long neck
-cera little foot
-gang split
-littlefoot cries and sees his mother
-mother shows him the great valley
-littlefoot decides to go back to look for his friends
-littlefoot saves friends
-sharptooth killed
-shows his friends the great valley

if this rumor was true, littlefoot died then and came back to get his friends?

Don Bluth also thought this rumor was nuts and was never intending that

Hmmm....Maybe if someone should go back in time in the making of this classic film then they could probaby record those deleted scenes for the fans of TLBT.
I been wishing for that for a long time :p go back in time and yell at steven and george xD

General Land Before Time / why does everybody hate LBT sequels?
« on: January 30, 2013, 02:54:24 AM »
too be honest I only liked 2-4 as squeals. that director really focused on the story and how it fits with the original. 5-13 with that other director messed the story up by adding aliens , tinysauros  weird dinos called yellowbellies, and almost as if he never watched and observed carefully the first movie (bron story for example)

This is what i mean. For the release on blu ray, Lion king had deleted scenes shown and look at the quality for being younger then land before time. I'm guessing it would have to be like Bambi's

lion king alternative ending

yep Malte, seems like a version of Friend in Need. The book ends when Littlefoot finds the great valley and turns back for the rest:

Then there also was this deleted part from the first sharptooth encounter

Just legally getting that off the ground would require Bluth to sit in the same room as Spielberg and Lucas and get along long enough for them to come to an agreement.
Why does Steven need to be involved? he and Lucas directed it not animated it. Yeah but what if Don gets too old? the movie is in its 25th anniversary this November and the next time it would be special is 50th

Looking at deleted scenes from lion king, bambi etc I realized most of them were sketched out to show . I been thinking if the scenes are lost....why not re draw them? We got Don and he isn't getting any younger . What better to atleast know what happened then from the creator himself or the people who worked in production to piece it back togther?

so I was looking into deleted scenes from Disney movies and I remembered the land before time. So I noticed many blu ray films released deleted scenes as bonus features and I'm still curious as to all the parts that got cut out from the sharptooth and the earthquake scene. I hope more can be updated from this and any information on how to contact Steven .

General Land Before Time / If the sequels were better
« on: January 23, 2010, 09:57:52 PM »
i think most of the sequels are fine except... 11-13

everyone calls flowers tree sweets but before they were just called flowers. I havent seen 11 yet but what i heard of i dont plan on watching it.  the idea of tinysaurus. LBT 12 is ok but I find it funny how they find Guido weird because of his feathers, when Icky had feathers and in LBT 7 there was a type of a dino bird with feathers also. So everyone in the great valley would of know he was a flyer. 13 just ruined LBT. i like they movie but the idea of Grandpa longneck not talking killed it. of course the guy who does his voice was busy with Little Mermaid Ariel Beginning. but they should of waited or something. or gotten another guy.the yellow bellies also ruined the film by making the movie way to goofy to be a LBT movie.
