I like how this turned out. ^^

Just lovely!
You really outdid yourself with this video!
Great choice of pictures befitting the lyrics (e.g. "Don't you cry", "For one so small you seem so strong", "no matter what they say") and also a great choice in leaving the two short exchanges between Littlefoot and Cera in. I really like that Phill Collins song, but I never realized just how well it fit to the relationship between Chomper and Littlefoot. Awesome job Kacie! :yes
-
i agree with malte very nicely done. Dont know how long it takes you to go through and find just the right scenes but has to be a good chunk of time.
-
I give it 5 stars! :^.^:
The scenes and lyrics worked together very nicely. This is one of your best works yet. :)
Great job! B)

Hey you mind if I download and convert the video so I can play it on my cell? I won't sell it or anything.
-
I don't mind if you download it. Did you want me to e-mail it to you?
-
Na. I downloaded it already. I converted it about fifteen times but I finally got it onto the cell phone. I have calculated that it has a .24 second delay between the video and audio. I am attempting to correct the malfunction today. In other words, like in ther cera and littlefoot scene where cera speaks, her mouth moves and then she speaks .24 seconds later. It's barely noticable but I'm a perfectionist. I think this was really great! You should try to make it so Cera doesn't talk so loud. I turned the volume up to an adiquite level to hear the song but it really hurt my ears when she spoke. I guess it was because I had headphones on. Other than that, I could find no faults in the video at all. Great job!
-
Delay? I noticed no delay. It's probably something I can't fix anyway.
And Cera didn't sound loud to me at all. Besides she and Littlefoot had to speal louder than the music playing otherwise you couldn't hear them.
A perfectionist? I try not to be like that. I don't think it's a good idea to be a perfectionist, in my opinion.
And thanks.
-
The delay was caused by it being converted so many times.
-
Ah I see.
-
Now the only thing I can find wrong with it..... it's too short! The fun ends to fast! I guess you could only make the movie as long as the song :( . Oh well. Have you ever considered making a video that is longer like 20 minutes? If not you really should. I think I have seen all of your work and I must say great job on all of it!!! Please don't stop!
-
20 minutes? No. Definitely not for a music video. 20 minutes is too long.
-
I wasn't talking about a music video.
-
Then what were you talking about?
-
Awesome stuff, DH! You are the best when it comes to MV! Bravo! (claps)
-
Ya know and actual story. I bet you could make a pretty good one if your previous works are any indication.
-
A story? How?

It was very difficult but I was able to create a video that was almost indistinguishable form an origional about a year ago. Unfortunately the computer it was stored on crashed. I was able to recover it but the quality was never the same. It took up over 300GB and since it was practically ruined, I just deleted it. If you want, I could tell you how to make an actual video. The requirements are as follows:
a computer with at least 300gb free space to store a 1 hour video (when you are finished, you can convert the video to avi and have it take up less than 1gb. All of the programs create files that take up like 20X more space than they need to)
3.6ghz or higher genuine intel processor
2gb ram
Photoshop 7.0 or higher
an image enhancement and blender software
an jpeg to mpeg - 1 conversion program
an mpeg - 2 to avi conversion program
a vocal pitch adjusting program
a light to dark image converter
a video splitter/joiner software
a program that syncronizes the background with the images (can't remember name)
There is a lot more stuff you need but I can't remember it all. Personally, it wasn't worth the nearly 5000 hours I put into it. It was perfect though. I could have gotten it done faster with a team of assistants! Maybe then it would be worth it! Another thing you need in order to do this is A LOT of patience. I set up my own area outside where I could smash glass bottles with a bat so I wouldn't take it out on the computer. I would have to say the characters voices were the most difficult of them all. I had to turn a sentance "I thought we were your best friends" into "we are all freinds". It was extermely difficult to turn cera's jelous, angry word "friends" into a nice, heartfelt word. It is possible but if you arn't prepared for this project to take well over a year and a boatload of disk space, don't start it. Also, the program's required for this would probably cost well over $2000 but if you wan't to start, I'll give you the registration codes so you can get started for free.

I don't believe I'll be able to do that. Besides, I don't even own a 300 GB computer, nor do I have the money to get one. In fact it was a miracle we could even afford this 200 GB comp.
-
You should build one. You can build a computer with these specs for under $500:
500gb hd
2gb ram
3.0 ghz processor
windows vista home
If you want to buy cheap parts from china that won't last more then three years than you can build the machine specified above for about $175! If you are worried that building a computer is hard it isn't. I could probably get it built in under 20 minutes.
-
I can't build a computer. I am not a computer whiz. I do not know the different parts of a computer. And I'm not currently interested in building a computer anyway. I'm content with the computer I have now. Sure it might not be suped up or anything, but it fulfills what I want.

It sounds to me like Darkhououmon simply doesn't have the resources (time, money) set aside to build and set up a new computer at this point in her life. Not everybody is so financially secure that they can just go out and buy a new computer whenever they need one for a huge project. I'm in the exact same situation. I need a new computer desperately, for large audio projects, but until I get a job I'll live with my P4 3.00Ghz. It does the job in most cases.
Did you even stop to think that perhaps Darkhououmon doesn't Want to make a huge video project that requires such a computer? I'm sure her computer lets her do at least most of what she wants. I haven't heard her complain about her computer getting in the way of her work before (people here may have heard me complain about that though. :lol )

This is correct. I do have some money, a couple hundred dollars, but that's it. However time, currently, is not an issue because I don't have any job. And I don't have any college degree yet. I am currently trying to find a job so I can save up money to go to college.
I also do not have the technical knowledge necessary to be able to build a computer. I know nothing of how to do such a thing at this point.

The biggest reason why I wouldn't be able to accomplish such a feat is because I lack the experience necessary to accomplish it. The only video editting I've done is with Movie Maker, for music video projects. I don't know how to properly lip synch let alone be able to edit sentences and turn them into something else entirely.
Currently, while my computer is weak compared to others I have seen, it is currently fulfilling most of my needs and I am happy with it. At this time I do not need a 300 GB computer.

Finally reuploaded this video.

Sorry but Google won't show it for me I don't know why. But I know it is an awesome video.

I no longer have it uploaded to Google. I'm referring to the link I just posted in my other post, just before yours. The Vidilife link.
