What you do here is give a quote from one of the Land Before Time films and if you know where it is from, you must say which movie it is from, who spoke the sentence/statement, and who was it addressed to.
I think we might be going the same way after all.
-
That one is from LBT 10. Cera says "You know, I think we might be going the same way as you after all!" to Pat after he told them about his "sleepstories".
Okay, here is the next one:
Where would we go? Where would we live?
-
Sounds like a Chomper film...the fifth one...Littlefoot is asking what they would do if they happen to split up.
Ducky? Where'd she go?
-
That one is from the very same movie. Littlefoot says this when (after crossing a log over a raviene) he realizes that Ducky is missing. Cera immediately suspects Chomper of having taken her as a snack.
Hold it right there!
-
I would suppose it's Mr. Threehorn, but he could've said that many times.
-
I know! It's not Mr. Thicknose! It's Cera from LBT 7. It's when Petrie is talking about how his uncle told him how flyers used to rule the world but Cera is quick to interrupt!
Ok...an easy one but another one of my favourite lines...three to get this time but all from the same scene...
Character 1: No!
Character 2: Yes!
Character 3: Maybe...
-
Hi!
That one is from LBT 8. When the gang (minus Ducky and Spike) wants to leave the Valley and run into Mr. Thicknose who asks them if they mean to leave the Valley they are not quite constant with their responses.
Next one:
"Don't even think about it!"
-
I can get 1/2 of it: it's Cera talking to Ducky and it's during a tag game but I don't remember where it's from.
Will you stop complaining?
-
It was from LBT 10.
Yours is from LBT 2, and Ozzy says this to Strut shortly before the song "Eggs".
Many eons ago...
-
Total guess: It's the narrator (I know that for sure) and it's LBT 9.
-
The narrator is right, but I wasn't thinking of LBT 9. However, I need to check out, if this short excerpt may be in LBT 9 as well as in the movie I'm thinking of.
-
I checked it out. There is no such quote at the beginning of LBT 9. Try again.
-
It's LBT 2. The narration at the start as it goes... "Many eons ago...when the Earth was young..." blah blah blah, yakkety smackety.
Me think you mainly hurt her brag bone...
-
That's right. I like the beginning of LBT 2, perhaps because they made good use of "If we hold on together".
Your quote is from LBT 10. Petrie says this to Littlefoot after he provoked Cera into ramming a big rock (she had boasted that there was not a rock in the whole Great Valley she couldn't crack with her head).
Next one:
Hey, what's the big idea?"
-
Erm...thats from LBT 3 after the gang finally find some water and the bullies chase them. Cera turns to want to fight them but Spike grabs her by the tail and thus she says that line!
Now you see me.......now you don't!
-
That would be LBT 4. Archie says this to Littlefoot when he hides below the water surface of a little pond inside the cave.
Next one:
Sure you feel up to it friend?
(This one can be found twice in the same sequel)
-
Littlefoot and Doc both say it in LBT 6. Doc inquires if Mr. Threehorn really would kick him out and Littlefoot is imitating his 'hero'.
I'm just going to scream!
-
That's Cera in LBT 3 when they are gonna search for water and she's complaining about her dad right?
[/QUOTE] So Annoying!
-
Yep that's correct. :) You get to post one.
-
He did.
So annoying!
That's New Order's quote. Didn't remember the scene yet though.
-
Bells aren't ringing. We might need some help with this one.
-
The character who sais it is of some importance to the story and it wasn't in Lbt 8,9 or 10 cause I haven't seen those =p
-
Sorry, I don't know.
This is an English version of the film, not just an English translation correct? I hate asking this as it sounds so condescending but I must all the same.
-
Are you absolutely certain that this is a quote from the English version of an LBT movie? "Annoying" is a word which is frequently used, but I can't recall this sentence. Could you give us some more hints?
I like it though when things are not too easy! This way it is a challenge! :D
-
Lol yeah me too, I'm about 95% sure that the quote is like that in the english version, here's the hint:
The character who says it is one of the bad guys and is important to the story
-
I'm going to have to go with the 5% against you because I don't know of that quote. Sorry. :(
-
It has to be either from Ozzy, Strut, Hyp, Not, Mutt, Ichty, Dill, Pterano, Rinkus, or Sierra, as there are no other talking villains in the movies you've watched. But I really don't remember "So annoying!" from any of them.
Could you give us the sentence previous or following to that one?
-
Yeah, but you'll guess right away: "So small, so full of life!"
-
This has got to be from LBT 7 after Ducky falls down into the cave. However, there is no whatsoever mention of "so annoying". What they say is:
Pterano: "Poor thing! So young! So full of life!"
Sierra: "So what?"
There is no "so annoying" before or later either. Sorry, but I'm afraid it's the five percent case.
The next one is a quote which you'll find more than once in the LBT movies. I want you to name at least two movies and scenes in which this is said:
You're going the wrong way!
-
Ah.. sorry then.. cause the version I've seen was Sierra says "So annoying".. I tought it was the same =p
-
I think Littlefoot said that or something remotely similar in LBT 1 when Cera wanted to go the easy way. ;)
NewOrder- don't feel too bad, translating from language to language is bound to create inconsistencies like that. ;)
-
I think Littlefoot said that or something remotely similar in LBT 1...
I made sure that the quote I gave was uttered literally more than once through LBT. It was not said in that scene where the gang splits up. What Littlefoot said there was: "But it's the wrong way!"
not "You're going the wrong way".
Please give me two scenes throughout LBT where exactly this quote is used.
-
Hmmm...I'm drawing a blank right now. Wait, didn't Ducky say that in LBT IV to Spike at one point?
-
Not one time was that quote used, but more often. I do not know if it was used three times, but certainly twice. I do not remember it from the fourth movie though.
-
I have LBT IV, and Ducky does say that to Spike when he's going backwards on a sloping log. "Spike you are going the wrong way." (give or take the contraction) ;)
-
You got one of the quotes I meant Arvens, but it's from LBT three, not four. Please try to find the other one time this quote is sayd, and the question will be answered. Don't forget about my love for hidden hints in my messages.
-
Geez, you're right...wrong film. :P
I don't know about hidden messages but I'm guessing that quote can be found in LBT 7 when they have to get to the top of the mountain that looks like a triceratops.
-
I don't recal this quote being said in that one.
-
The other "You're going the wrong way!" is in LBT 1. Littlefoot shouts it to Cera when they are being stalked by the sharptooth in that maze of thorns. I'll sit back and wait to see if that's right. If it is...I probably wont be around to post up the next quote so Arvens can have the next quote since you got the first one...
-
I think he's got it. :)
-
Yeah! You got it! :D
Now you have both times I remember the quote being uttered in LBT!
-
He said I could give the quote because he doesn't think he'll be on. ;)
And?
-
Have I confused you guys?
It is a one word question and I can only think of one time where the characters asked this.
-
I definitely know I heard this during an LBT movie, but I don't remember which one, and so far all attempts to remember have failed. I'm afraid I have to listen to all of them again in order to find it.
-
Hmm...it's one of the ones I own...and you know I don't own all of them. I have 1, 4, and 9 so that narrows it down quite a bit. :)
-
It struck me all of a sudden!
That's from LBT 4. When Ali returns to the Great Valley to find the others she tells them about what happened to Littlefoot (who is trapped in the cave) Ali doesn't finish one sentence and Cera, Ducky, and Petrie ask: "And?"
My next quote I'm afraid is an easy one, but I checked it out recently in order to find out whether or not one of the words used in that quote was even appropriate for a land before time story:
The battle seemed to last for hours.
-
That's from LBT 6 when Grandpa is telling to Littlefoot and the gang the legend of the lone dinosaur, right?
-
right
-
I wouldn't have guessed that. :P
-
Hmm... ok.. this is sort of hard but I can only remember it being said once...
So?
(I guess this one is sort of copyrighted.. but small wards make this more interesting =P)
Hint: it's on a sequel from lbt 2 to 5
-
I don't see how it's copyrighted but I do know where it's from.
That was in LBT 2 when Cera asks what was wrong with the grass being on the other side of the quicksand.
Next one!
Yep yep yep!
But this time it isn't Ducky who said it. ;)
-
Hold your horses... it's true that Cera says it in lbt 2.. but it wasn't that one I was looking for =P there's another time.. when Cera also says it... my mistake for leaving that one a side sorry =p
-
^ Hey, things happen. ;) It's all fine.
LBT 7 is the only other one I can think of when Cera might use 'so' as a question, when Petrie exclaims that she saved him. I don't remember if you say LBT 7 so I'm guessing that's probably wrong. :P
-
Yup.. I don't want this to go on and on.. so I'll tell you it's in lbt 4 now try to guess where =p
-
I'm pretty much an expert on LBT IV since I actually own that one, and I don't remember anybody asking "So?" in that film.
-
Hmm.. Cera says it.. before they find the way to the Vally of the mists.. it's not a translation error since I saw it in the original version in english =p
-
Aha, yes she did, you've proven me wrong!
"So? I still got here didn't I?"
Ok, now for mine:
Yep yep yep!
And it isn't Ducky who says it. Who else has used Ducky's line?
-
I think Sierra said this mockingly in LBT 7, stating that the "Yep, yep, yep!" and "No, no, no!" was driving him "Nuts, nuts, nuts!"
Correct?
-
It drove me silly silly silly.  Yeah, that was it.
-
Okay, here is the next one:
Spike finded it!
-
Ducky, and I think she was referring to when Spike found the ocean in LBT 5.
I think we ought to wait for the quote poser to affirm that we gave the correct answer before we just make new posts so what happened b/t me and NewOrder doesn't happen again. ;)
-
^ Yes, it has become sort of common of lately already.
Your answer is correct. Sort of remarkable way of talking for Ducky. There are but very few other examples of her making wrong use of what ought to be an irregular verb.
Your turn Arvens.
-
Cera, I'm very proud of you.
-
Doesn't Cera's father say this after Cera saved the twins during the storm in LBT 6?
-
Yeppers. I can't think of hard ones. :P
-
Well, you won't find it here!"
-
I'm guessing Cera but I don't know where....LBT VI? She didn't like Doc too much.
-
Nope, not LBT 6
-
But I have the right character anyway. :) I got it 1/2 right...
-
That much is true. Now just give me the movie and the character to whom she says it. You got it almost already.
-
Maybe LBT VII? She was pretty rude in that one too.
-
Which scene? To whom does she say it?
(Cera is not overly charming in most LBT movies ;) )
-
Its Cera in LBT 7. She sez it to Pterano once he swoops in on them and see him for the first time. He goes on about finding "a more hospitable place to call home..."
That right?!
-
Exactly right Littlefoot-1616!
Your turn.
-
Alrighty then!
Hey not too fast! HEY NOT TOO FAST!!!
Easy I know but hey...have fun with it ;)
-
I think Littlefoot says this in LBT 1. When they are climbing on each other in order to reach the leafes at the top of a tree Littlefoot feels he is being pushed up too quickly by Spike.
Right?
-
Our survey sez .............. *ping*! Congrats Malte! You've just earned the right to post the next quote! Fire away!
Note to self: Get out of house a bit more! :P
-
Alright. Now this may be a difficult one (and maybe not, well see):
Quite surprised I was!
-
That just reminded me of our chat when I was talking about the wording in sentences....that's Yoda talk. :P
Ok, no I think it's Elsie talk in LBT 5 when she's talking about Littlefoot's grandpa.
-
Indeed! Your turn.
-
Me always ready!
-
Petrie in LBT 10 after being woken up a rather ungentle way and being asked if he is ready to set out after Littlefoot?
-
Yeah I think that's it. :P Haven't watched it in a while but I know he was just awakened.
-
Okay, next one:
It is nobody's fault.
-
Let's root for Rooter on helping our dear Littlefoot get his mind straight to find his new home. Woooooooooooooooot. :D
-
Right.
-
Next quote:
circle of life
There are many characters that have mentioned the circle of life. I can remember four characters that have said it...can you name the four I'm thinking of?
-
First of all there is old Rooter. Then Littlefoot mentions it in LBT 2 when he tries to comfort Ducky who thinks that the egg with her brother or sister broke. In LBT 6 Littlefoot's grandfather mentions it to Cera's dad (storms being a part of the circle of life rather than being badluck caused by Doc). These three are what comes to my mind spontaneously. I can't think of a fourth one right now, but I'll try to remember.
Just one question, am I correct when I believe it was mentioned in LBT 10, or is that a wrong?
-
I don't know about lbt 10 but in lbt 4 Littlefoot's grandmother talks about the circle of life and she sings that song.. grandma's lullabye or something like that
-
Gee that's it! I can't believe I missed the most obvious of all mentions!
You completed the answer NewOrder, so you may put up the next quote.
-
Eh look at that you two teamed up to get the answer! ;) Those are the four times I'm speaking of. I'm actually surprised that LBT 4 slipped your mind, Malte because there's a whole song about it....LBT 2 or 6 was the one I was counting on tricking someone. ;)
-
You know, it was sort of a coincidence that I knew the circle of life quote from the second movie. I had actually planned to use it myself after I listened to LBT 2 recently. You were faster ;)
As for the LBT 6 one I don't know why, but it just came to my mind, while the most obvious one from LBT 4 did not.
-
It happens (= Malte, I completed the answer but you gave the other 3 so it's fair if you go =p
-
Actually I meant to let you do it. You haven't had your chance to come up with a quote for longer a time. Anyway, there you go:
What's the trick?
-
  That was in a LBT film? The closest I can come to it is when Cera said "How do you play?" in LBT 6....I don't remember any tricks or gimmicks....
-
I checked it out once more to make absolutely sure about it. The quote is really exactly as I wrote it down. It's not from LBT 6 though.
-
Maybe LBT 8 because that's mostly about schooling in the beginning?
-
Nope, not LBT 8 either.
-
Then it has to be LBT 7 because I know all of the other films too well. :P I don't know where it would be but at least I'll have the right film.
-
Sorry, no offence meant against your knowledge of LBT films, but it isn't from LBT7 either. Maybe I should come with a few hints shortly?
-
Yup.. I'm not getting it either, then again I haven't seen the english versions of lbt 2,3,5,6 and 7 =P
-
Alright then, a huge hint. It is not in the English version of any of the movies you named. Now there isn't much left. And again, look out for hidden hints. ;)
-
LBT 2 talks about the tree bending trick but they don't say that exact statement. I guess I'm still having trouble....
So it's in 1, 4, 9, or 10.....I'm toying around a bit but I just can't seem to find it....
-
We have a problem and need to do something about it (must I be more direkt with the hints?) ;)
-
Now its starting to sound like something I heard out of the Plague Dogs.
They say that alot Malte...you probably already know me and NewOrder can't figure the hints out too well....anyone else want to give it a try? Anyone???
-
Maybe my Short tips are not obvious enough? (Three so far)
-
Lol.. One thing... I haven't been able to come here as often as I did cause of school and stuff but I'll try to post here as regurlaly as I can =p
Anyway.. I can't figure this one out
-
Holy s-- cow! Shorty said it to Cera....I think they were skipping rocks or something...:P
-
Exactly!
Cera rams against the rock and Shorty says:
"Doesn't it hurt? What's the trick?"
And Cera responds: "The trick is not minding!"
Your turn Arvens.
-
Eeeewwwww....
Hint: long drawl....
-
Ducky says something like this when she "wets her feet" in the sinking sand of LBT 2. I'm not sure though if there isn't something like Eeeewwwww.... in other sequels as well. So did I find the Eeeewwwww.... you meant Arvens?
-
Yeah, that's the one. :)
There's no fooling you is there. :P
-
^ There definitely is! Remember the Rinkus quote?
Don't mind if we do
-
The Rinkus quote?
-
Don't you remember? I never managed to answer that Rinkus quote "Leave you behind?"
-
Wasn't this in LBT 7 as well? I think it had something to do with Sierra, Rinkus and Pterano.
-
You're guessing in the right direction Arvens.
-
Ok, um maybe then since it's "we" perhaps that could imply just Rinkus and Sierra since for the second half they were against Pterano....am I getting warmer? :)
-
You do.
-
Can't you just give it to me since I have the characters and the film? :P
No huh? :P
Well, maybe they got in his way or something....they sure got mad at him when they finally found the 'stone'.
-
Nope twice. It is not after they found the stone, and nope just the character and the movie would be a bit too easy in most cases, as one would just have to go through the maincharacters and have a very good chance that one of them is correct.
-
I think I have it now...didn't Pterano say "Get a grip!" and they said "Don't mind if we do?"
-
Cheers!
That's it!
-
*drinks all around* :D
I'll post one later...I'm kind of like a zombie from rapid posting and can't think straight. :P
-
Arvens? It's your turn to post a quote.
-
I forgot all about this. :p
Yeah, dummy!
-
Mutt says this in LBT 3 to... well a flower out of which a dragonfly emerges the next moment.
-
Yeah yeah can't fool you.... :p
-
Okay, here is the next one:
It's not fair!
Name at least two examples where this is said in the movies. Make sure that really "It's not fair!" is said and not just "Not fair!" or something. I can spontaneuosly think of two cases, but I'm pretty sure there are more. Special cheers if you can name more than two cases!
-
Well I know Littlefoot says it in LBT 9 when he tells his Grandma he wished he had a brother. And Littlefoot many years before whined that statement to Rooter about the death of his mother.
-
These are exactly the two cases I was thinking of. Your turn Arvens.
-
Chalk another one up for the rambunctious rabbit. :D
That looks like the way to go.
-
That's Littlefoot in LBT 4 when he and Ali are in the cave. That's just before they nearly sprint out over the cliff which wouldn't have been the wisest thing to do...LOL :p
My turn!
We know way from here!
-
Looks like there more of a battle with quotes going on here.
-Threehorn
-
I know Littlefoot's because I've watched LBT 9 many times. :p
Petrie says that on their journey back from the ocean when they see the volcanoes. :D
Since I don't know when he'll get back I'll continue on....
Yes, it's not a dream!
-
I don't usually take notice of the quotes but have done when going back through it.
-Threehorn
-
I think the quote is from LBT 7, when they wake up in the cave to see the pile of leafes the rainbowface brought there. Right?
-
yeah the male big mouth rainbow face put them there and his reason to the other one the female one was. "Well they were hunger"
-Threehorn
-
'What the point of having big feet if you can't step on bad guys'
Take a guess where this quote is from? :D
should be easy to know
:lol
-Threehorn
-
That one is Sue in LBT 10 after stepping on that crocodile.
As there is no doubt possible I'll come up with the next quote without waiting for further confirmation:
I climb.
-
I think that quote is from Petrie on LBT 4 when Cera is lost in the mist, not sure thou.
-Threehorn
-
No, it is not from LBT 4.
-
Well I am lost then :lol
-Threehorn
-
I believe it's the first one. For once Petrie actually speaks somewhat proper English. :p
-
Oh yeah, I remember that. silly me I forgot about that.
A threehorn shouldn't forget something like that. :lol
-Threehorn
-
Perfectly right Arvens. I chose that quote just because it is perfect grammar from Petrie. Your turn. In case there won't be a new quote within the next two days(considering your message in which you write you won't be around a lot during the next time) I suggest that whoever wants to can put up the next quote.
-
Arevens told me last night that he not going to be on for a week. Something about lots of college or Uni work to do.
-Threehorn
-
Arvens is feeling a bit under the weather and it also loaded up with stuff to do but he'll be back! ;) In the meantime, wrap your LBT thinkin' caps around this quote!
You don't know how sorry I am to here that!
On your marks....get set..........TYPE! :p
-
Littlefoot to Spike in LBT 6 when Spike is stuck in that tree-trunk and the sharptooth is approaching?
-
Yep, Malte has it.
I didn't have a lot of college work but I'm desperately trying to break a very unhealthy addiction to this place (as in logging in five times a day). I'm missing out on a lot of other opportunities, so I just had to restrain myself for a long time from coming here. Once a day, and no more. ;)
-
In my case it really is university work that sort of keeps me from being around here as much as I used to. :(
You are not helping!
-
*ponders*
Maybe LBT 4 when everyone was introducing themselves to Ali, or are we not including contractions of "you are" to "you're"?
-
I couldn't listen to the tape of LBT 4, and it may be that the character who said it said "You're" rather than "You are". Anyway, your guess is perfectly right. Just give us the character and the next question. :)
-
Littlefoot said it to Cera.... "Cera, you're not helping!" that's why I said was it a contraction or not. ;)
Told him.
-
Hmm...Ducky said that after she tried to warn Rinkus (maybe misspelled) not to stand on the ledge on LBT 7. Maybe?
-
Bingo. :) Your turn! (bout time we got a new face in on these games) :D
-
Yeesh...I never knew how difficult it is to try and think up a quote.  Well, here goes...
Then why do I feel so horrible...?
The best I can come up with...
-
Seasick Cera in LBT five after Littlefoot praised her good idea of using a trunk to get over the Big Water?
-
Awesome! It was kind of funny since I just watched it again that day. Your turn!
-
he is tooooooo good
-Threehorn
-
Who are you?
Name at least two cases in which this quote is used, but make sure that it is just the "Who are you?" not for example "Who are you guys?"
-
The song from the Whos. Called Who are you.
:lol
-Threehorn
-
Heh, I can think of other films that have that
Simba to Rafiki- Who are you? TLK
Woundwort to Bigwig- Who are you? WD
but I can't think of any at the moment in LBT. :p
-
Oh right. :lol
I just thought of the song Who are you made by the whos when I saw that qoute messege
-Threehorn
-
Hmm? Nobody? Is it THAT difficult?
-
*shakes furred head* Nope, nada nothing this time.
-
Oh come on. There aren't that many occassions throughout the movies at which the quote: "Who are you?" can be uttered, are there?
-
I can't even pinpoint one let alone a few. >.<
I still keep getting those TLK and WD quotes every time I think of a time I've heard that said.
-
I know of at least one... once Littlefoot's been saved by Doc after slipping on the rotten log, he looks up to him and says, "It-it's you! I mean you're here! I mean...who are you?". In LBT 7 once Pterano arrives with Sierra and Rinkus, Ducky asks after Pterano promptly twats them in the face for talking too much "Who are THEY?" but not...who are you...
-
You got one Littlefoot. Just one more please.
-
Erm...not a perfect match but Mo in #9, when he first sees Littlefoot says "Who you?" He doesnt actually say who ARE you but could that be the other one you're thinking of?
-
Nope, it is really "Who are you". And it is uttered loud and clearly by one of the main characters.
So skip all the sequels characters.
-
What about Littlefoot saying, "Who are you guys?" in LBT 7?
-
I mentioned this one when I put up the question. Nope, it doesn't work out with the further word guys added. It's just "Who are you?".
-
*imitates Ducky when they first find Petrie*
"Who are you? Huh?"
"M-mm my name Petrie!"
-
Cheers! Now we got two!
One from Littlefoot-1616 one from Arvens. Either of them may come up with the next quote now.
-
*slaps paw down* My turn!
I just wish I knew how.
-
I'm not sure, but does not Littlefoot say this about getting away from the island in LBT 5? Before Cera suggests trying to escape on the log?
-
I can't fool you. :p
-
Awwwww! No fair! I wanted to say the next one! WAHH!!! :( :cry
Just knockin' ya!!! Im not that bitter! Hee hee! ;)
-
You are welcome to post the next one Jason :)
I do have a quote in mind, but if you prepared one which you are obviously eager to post here, please do it.
-
Jason? You may come up with the one quote you wanted to post here.
-
I don't think Jason comes online a dozen times a day like we do. :wow
-
Alright then. An easy one:
Whole bunches!
-
That would be Petrie in LBT 3 when they discover the pools of water in the Mysterious Beyond
Alrighty then!
Glad you asked!
-
Is it possible that this is said by Sue in LBT 10? I'm not sure and even if my memory does not cheat me and my guess is not wrong, I cannot yet pinpoint the scene.
-
I can't believe someone actually managed to stump Malte! :wow :lol
However, I know where it's from! :D
Think along the lines of LBT 7 when a particular female rainbowface first started talking to Littlefoot.... ;)
-
I've been stumped before ;) Remember "Leave you behind?"
You actually solved quite a riddle for me, as I never really understood the first line of the female rainbowface to Littlefoot. I never really got what she said. Now do I know.
-
Oh gawd! Have you been waiting for me to reply?! Jeez! Im sorry! :o erm...Arvens! You were right! It was the female Rainbowface from LBT 7! You've got the next post...go ahead!
-
Sweet home.
-
Ducky in LBT 2 when they return home from the mysterious beyond carrying Chomper's egg?
-
That's the one and the same. :D
-
You had to ask, didn't you?
-
Sounds like something Cera would mumble, I just don't know where right now....
-
Cera is correct. Name the movie and the scene and you get this one. :)
-
Cera...LBT 8 after they find Ducky and score a STRIKE playing Sharptooth Bowling!!! LOL!
...Only in time...
-
Rooter....LBT 1 right after he speaks with Littlefoot....
I don't need to wait for confirmation on this one.
Um, yeah, I can do that.
-
I would say Cera in LBT 10 just before she knocks herself senseless on the solid rock! But I remember you saying that you haven't see LBT 10 yet so...either Im wrong or Im just not up-to-date with your LBT viewing Arvens!
-
Nope, that's correct! :D I have seen LBT 10, I just don't own a copy of it. ;)
-
Alrighty then! Next up is:
Whadd'ya know? It works!
-
That one is from LBT 8 after Littlefoot "tested" the hollowhorns' method to get treestars.
I don't care!
It may be that this quote is used more than once throughout LBT, but as only one example comes to my mind right now, I won't ask for more than one from you.
-
The one that sticks out to me in LBT 3 when Cera could've cared less if the bullies got eaten in the Mysterious Beyond. Is that the one you have in mind?
-
Not the one I had in mind, but definitely a proof that it WAS used more than once. I was thinking about Littlefoot not caring about the grownups' indifference towards Mo. Your answer is correct. Go ahead :)
-
Name three films where the word
Eggs
is mentioned.
-
LBT 2, 3 (scary eggs) and 9?
-
Yeppers, those were the three I had in mind....you're up. :)
-
Big surprise!
;)
-
That would be Cera from LBT 5 when Chomper tells them "I don't think you're very safe around my folks..."
I guess they all went home...
-
I'm pretty sure Littlefoot said that to Ali when he couldn't find the rest of his usual friends around. ;)
You lummox!
-
So far I have no idea. What on earth is a lummox?
-
It probably would not be translated into German I can assure you that. ;) I think how I wrote it though probably gives it away.
-
Malte,A lummox is an oaf, a silly or stupid person. It is usually used as a put-down.
Nick
-
Yes, an insult that you do not hear in America..... ;)
-
LOL! That would, and can only be, Pterano from LBT 7 after Sierra drops Ducky once she bites him! Fool deserved it! :nyah
I'm not sorry at all!
-
I knew a British member would likely pick up on the lummox. ;)
Jason's sounds like a Cera quote...usually anyone else would give in and apologize....I don't know the film offhand....
-
I think the quote is from Sue in LBT 10. She says that (after finding a mind) she is not sorry at all not to accompany Littlefoot and his grandparents to the Great Valley.
-
Yup! That's the fella Malte! Lead the way! ;)
-
Taking the next quote right from your last message:
Lead the way!
It may be that this one appears even more than once, but I'm not certain. Right now only one case comes to my mind.
-
I'm thinking of Sierra saying that to Pterano in LBT 7 when they continue to search for the stone.
-
Indeed. It's not the case I was thinking of by the way. I was thinking of Rinkus saying (not singing) it during the song "Very important creature".
Go ahead!
-
^ Ah, I just listened to the song and he didn't. He said "Let him lead us to the the stone."
Littlefoot, Cera, somebody!
-
^ Yes he did say it:
Pterano: "What did you say?"
Rinkus: "He said: 'Lead the way!'"
I think your quote is from Ducky, LBT V, just before she falls into that ravine to be rescued by the carnivore flyer.
I guess so
Used more than once throughout the series.
-
I got one! When Littlefoot is being questioned about his initial sighting of the Stone of Cold Fire and Grandpa Longneck says "Maybe it was something you saw in a dream! Isn't that also possible..." Littlefoot then says "I...I guess so..."
MOVING ON!
Beyond the mountain walls live...SHARPTEETH!!!
-
I'm not sure on this one, but doesn't Ducky's mother say something like this during the meeting in LBT 5 where the grownups decide to leave the Great Valley?
-
Someone's on the button! LOL! All yours Malte! ;)
-
We must not act rashly!
-
Littlefoot's Grandpa is the only one who doesn't jump to conclusions. :p It was him in LBT 3 when they were looking for water and the only place it could be found was the Mysterious Beyond--how convienent. :P:
-
Right, your turn.
-
Nice shot Mom!
-
Petrie to his mum (who had just hit Ducky) during the snowballfight in LBT 8?
-
That's the one scene I can remember from the film. ;) I remember Petrie throwing one straight up in the air so it lands right on him.
-
Nice catch!
-
For once Petrie said a sentence in proper English. LOL LBT 5 after Ducky got lost in the swamp and was almost eaten by flyers.
Run Littlefoot.
I don't think this was said more than once, but you know me, I easily forget things. :P:
-
Grandpa Longneck sez that to Littlefoot, funnily enough, in LBT 6 when he promptly shouts to the world "I dont wanna be a lone dinosaur anymore!" It's after he gets stalked by a second T-Rex having just shaken the first one! Poor fella!
My point exactly!
-
No clue whatsoever.
I would guess an adult though.
-
Does not Pterano say this? When he tries to convince Littlefoot and the others to search for the stone of cold fire?
-
Nope...it is LBT 7 but who says it and where?!
-
I'm afraid I don't remember LBT 7 enough to answer that. :(
We need to get more regulars in this game..... :yes
-
This is sort of a blind shot, but does Cera say it after Ducky and Petrie complained about getting tired? Before they find the cave?
-
Nope... I'll give it to you so the game can move on. I was ACTUALLY referring to Mr. Threehorn in LBT 7 once they all find out Ducky's been kidnapped. Ducky's mother throws a bit of a spas and thus Mr Threehorn replies with the state quote...
Right then...new quote me thinks...
Phew! That some big wind!
-
Littlefoot in the sharptooth's mouth in LBT 6?
-
Nope...not LBT 6 nor is it Littlefoot!
Try again...
-
The bad English would imply its Petrie, and it's either LBT 9 or 10 since I do remember him being blown around a lot in both of them.
-
I'll let you have that one Arvens! It WAS Petrie and it was #9 when he's on the search for "waterpaths to the Big Water"
Kick off the gameplay Arvens! ;)
-
Watch where you're going
I can only think of one time where this quote happens.
-
I'm not sure, but doesn't Rinkus say something like this to Sierra who (holding Ducky in one "foot") almost collided with him in midair?
-
Nope that's not what I'm thinking of. Try again. :) (If it did happen, I don't remember it. ;))
-
That is actually true! In LBT 7 when the three flyers kidnap Ducky, Sierra loses balance and hits Rinkus and he replys "Watch where you're going!" coz Sierra replies "You think this is easy? Then how about you carrying her!" So technically it's right although it doesnt seem to be the one you're looking for
-
I think I watched LBT 7 twice, and once was just to grab pictures and music, so no I didn't remember that.
The one I"m thinking of is more recent and it's not in LBT 11. ;)
-
Is it possibly from LBT 10? When Littlefoot jumps across the rocks in the swamp? Do his grandparents call it? Just guessing.
-
Right movie, but later in the film. ;) It's a really short statement, but easy to pick out as to who said it and all that. ;)
-
Shorty after tripping Littlefoot?
-
Hehe, YES! :yes Now I'm giving hints out.
-
Yes we do!
-
 I'm going to have to think this one over as it sounds like its from one of my less watched ones....
-
it sounds like its from one of my less watched ones
For all I know it is indeed.
-
The quote is uttered by a female character we see in every single LBT movie.
-
Anyone?
-
Hello?
-
Hmm...I need to watch the movies again. Could it be one of the kids' family members, like either Ducky's or Petrie' mother?
-
It is from a family member of the kids, though neither of the two you named. With the hints given before you are now able to rule out all possible characters except for the right one, so you will just need to find the movie scene.
-
It's been a long time since anyone's replied here, and I looked at the quote again, and still have no idea who stated it.
I'm going to go with Tippy's mom since that happens to be from a sequel I didn't like and you had said it was....and since I only watched that one twice I've long forgotten the scenes.
-
I'm thinking of Littlefoot's Grandmother, since she's the only other character that I can think of. But I need to watch one of the movies again and harder.
-
The character is correct.
-
Which one of us?
-
Littlefoot's grandmother gave the quote ("Yes we do!") just give me the movie and the scene.
-
Grandma Longneck sez that after she and Grandpa knock one of the three sharpteeth off the cliff edge in #10. Grandpa sez "After all these years we still make a pretty good team," thus Grandma replied "Yes we do!"
-
Cheers! That's it Littlefoot-1616! :)
Your turn!
-
OK here goes!
I dont need anyone's help! Not now! Not Ever!
-
I think our newest member should guess that one... :lol
-
This sounds like something Cera would say.
-
Actually, that quote can be found in LBT 3. We had a member before who just happened to carry the name behind the quote. That was why I left the last post as a joke. :P:
-
Is is Hyp?
-
I'm sure that's correct. Hyp says it after Ducky states something like "everyone needs help some time" after saving Hyp. Following this statement of Hyp the grownups appear.
-
Here's the next quote:
In my dreams...
-
That's from LBT 10's song "Bestest Friends" (one of the few points I credit LBT ten for). I think the particular words are sung by Cera and then Ducky takes over:
I see you in my dreams... and feel you in my heart.
-
That's correct
Good job
-
[...] like the rest of us!
This is not a complete sentence, but giving the complete sentence would make it too easy a chestnut.
-
I know Ducky says that in LBT 5 when she's insisting that Spike be sad along with the rest of the gang due to their failed attempt to find food for their families.
-
Quite right and your turn :)
-
Here goes!
I used to be taller!
-
LBT XI. The tinysaur Littlefoot gets first in contact with says this after Cera dropped onto him too (just like Littlefoot did) and remarks that he is small.
-
Do you know his name? Rules state that you need to NAME the character and WHERE they say it... :)
-
^ Sorry I confess I forgot about this game for a while. The name of the longneck is Skitter.
LBT quote:
I see him!
I think this one appears several times. Three cheers for anyone who can come up with more than one example for this quote.
-
So annoying!
I'm not sure if anyone has answered the "So annoying" debate yet, but
Sue from LBT X says "I hate those things, don't you? So annoying when they nibble on your foot."
when she stomps on the Bog monster, shortly after littlefoot is about to jump into its' mouth. Could this be the line you're referring to?
-
^ I barely remember to that. More than a year ago
Anyway, I think you are right about Sue saying this action9000.
You also know the current quote:
I see him!
?
If so you can come up with the next one :)
-
I know Dil says that when she finds Littlefoot hiding in the crevice in #4. Can't think of any more right now but the floor's open to anyone else if they can think of any more
-
You thought of the very same occassion I did. :)
Your turn Littlefoot.
-
OK...next one!
Yeah! Dummy!
-
That would be Mutt in LBT 3, talking to (?) a flower from which some kind of stinging insect appears the next moment. Right?
-
Got it in one! *crowd cheers*
Your play Malte! ;)
-
You gonna take your turn, Malte?
Don't make me pull a Spike and take your turn for you :P:
-
Sorry! I totally forgot. Don't hesitate to give me a little kick if I ever forget again :yes
Oh yes, I... I know.
-
In LBT 10.
Littlefoot says it when he's talking with Bron. Bron says "Now that I've found you, I don't want to lose you."
Littlefoot's response is
"Oh. "Yea...I know. Me neither."
-
That's what Littlefoot says. However the quote reads "Oh yes, I... I know."
It is really "yes", not "yeah".
The quote is not part of LBT 10.
-
Ok, fine :P:
Allow me to try this answer then :p
LBT 7:
The rainbow faces are talking about helping out Littlefoot, right after the story about Pterano's prior scheme to take over the herd.
"Think we should help them out?"
"You know that isn't allowed."
:DD "Oh yes, I...I know." :DD
-
That's perfectly right Action9000 and your turn it is.
There is by the way a reason why I came up with that particular quote. I actually hoped it to be more similar to what they say in the German version. In the German variant the male rainbowface says (translated): "Oh yes, I forgot."
Which would have fitted to my own forgetting about the fact that it was my turn ;)
Anyway, now it's yours.
-
Sure, and then she can...
-
That's LBT 10, when Ducky and Petrie are having that rather drawn out conversation on rock jumping in that swamp area. Ducky is interrupted by the alligator as she suggests that Cera "can land on the first rock with her back feet"! LOL
Howz my aim?
-
Looks good to me :DD
Your go, Littlefoot
-
Your turn Littlefoot-1616 :)
-
So it is...my bad guys! Didnt mean to hold up the game!
Well, I think that's wonderful!
-
LBT 8:
Tippy's mother, after finding out that Ducky's mother took Spike into her family when he and Ducky arrived at the Great Valley.
-
All good! Well done action! Your play ;)
-
"Run!! Everybody run!!"
-
Would you folks like a hint? B)
-
Any guesses out there? Yes, it is from an LBT film. You may have to take a second look at the movie to pick it out, though :p
-
I am going to guess that it is from the second one, is shouted by Littlefoot, and is uttered when the cave they are in is collapsing as a result of Cera ramming a pillar.
-
:wow The location is correct; I personally found it difficult to tell whether it was Littlefoot or Cera who said it. It really sounds like Cera's voice, but I don't know for sure. For all purposes, That's the answer I was looking for :)
Your turn
-
"listen closely"
-
The last words of Littlefoot's mother.
-
Good job. That was her dying declaration.
Your turn.
-
Next one:
Listen!
-
Ooh... <_< Tough one, but I've got a guess:
LBT 6: Littlefoot, just before his song about the Lone Dinosaur
-
Correct guess right away :)
"Guys I'm serious! Listen!" is what he says.
Your turn.
-
I'm looking for two instances where this quote was said:
What that?
Good luck :DD
-
One of them is during #5, is spoken by Petrie when he sees a shodow that looks like a sharptooth (right before Always There).
-
Actually, I didn't think of that one, but you're absolutely right. :D
Ok, one more instance of "What That?"
-
Doesn't Mo say it too? After Ducky tripped into the nest of the longneck mother?
If this indeed completes the anser (I didn't check out to make sure) let Stitch have the next question. He gave his half of the anser first.
-
That's one I was thinking of too, Malte :DD Good answer!
By the way, a third one would be on LBT3: The gang is all together at night, checking in to see if everyone is there. Petrie hears Spike snoring, gets nervous, and says "what that? sounds like monster!"
Go ahead, Stitch
-
Here's the next one:
family anyway
-
"I mean then what is a family anyway?" Ducky just before the song "Family" (LBT 8) starts.
-
I just can't stump you guys.
Your Turn.
-
Howdy, Malte :wave
Your go :p
-
Sorry, I forgot.
...off limits!
-
That'll be from LBT 7:
Mr Threehorn, addressing Littlefoot after it is suggested to go find the Stone of Cold Fire.
"The smoking mountains are far away in the Mysterious Beyond. Totally off limits."
(I think that quote is right :P:)
How's that sound? :^.^:
-
(Sorry for not reacting earlier). I was thinking of Cera using the phrase in the very same movie, apparently thinking of her father when reminding Littefoot of their parents prohibition of going to the smoking mountain. But your answer is right as well of course. Your turn :)
-
...Our little secret.
-
Are we reducing our quotes to only 3 words now?! LOL Need a bigger challenge coz we all know the LBT script too well :lol
Anywho...that's Grandpa Longneck in LBT 8 when he promises to keep Littlefoot's little disagreement with Mr Thicknose. He promises to keep it a secret!
Howz my aim? :^.^:
-
Are we reducing our quotes to only 3 words now?! LOL Need a bigger challenge coz we all know the LBT script too well
(It seems we almost have to around here :P:)
*Ding* Bullseye! :lol
Your turn, Littlefoot1616 :DD
-
(It seems we almost have to around here)
Oh well...not like I'm complaining or anything LOL :lol
Great...here's my quote. And I quote:
Come again?
-
I believe that's Pat from LBT 10, when the Gang is inviting him to go back with them to the Great Valley.
Am I on the right track?
-
That's one of 2 possible answers action so play is yours!
The other one was Tria from #11 when Cera goes to speak to her about her bust up with her dad...
Either way works for me! Game on! ;)
-
"Of course we will."
-
I think we need a hint.
-
I'm quite sure Littlefoot's grandma is saying this. I just can't pinpoint the scene.
-
I'm quite sure Littlefoot's grandma is saying this. I just can't pinpoint the scene.
Your character is correct, Malte. This scene is from one of your more beloved LBT films.
-
Here's another hint:
The scene takes place at night
-
Okay, big time shot in the dark...
LBT 5 when they were searching for the gang. I think it's before the scene where the gang sings Always There.
-
You sure that was a shot in the dark? :p
Looks right to me :yes
Your go, pokeplayer
-
Finally! (There's no smilie to express what I feel!)
Okay, here's a little challenge for you all. The one word quote challenge. Basically, the quote will have only one word. Luckily, it will be a word that is hardly spoken in the LBT script, so it's more fair than you may think. So, just be ready, becuase this is the challenge I'll give you every time I get one right.
You guys wanted a challenge, and now I give it to you.
Here we go!
Yittlefoot
Good Luck! :)
-
Mo when trying to pronounce Littlefoot's name just after they met?
-
Correct!
Once Mo said that, I couldn't help but laugh.
Well, your turn Malte. :)
-
No Sir!
-
Ah ha, After a bit of thinking, I think I've got it! :DD
It's from LBT 11, during the song "Creepy Crawlies." The line is "sung" / said by Mr. Clubtail.
"They might be nice,
No Sir!
No way!"
-
^^Ah man! I should've known! :(
-
You are right Action9000! Your turn :)
I had sort of an idea that it would be you knowing a quote from a song :lol
-
heehee :lol
Well, let me think...
I am, too.
-
Littlefoot's grandma in LBT 5. She too is hungry (same as Littlefoot). I think this is a quote that occurs several more times, but I can't think of other cases at the moment.
-
That's the one I was thinking of. I too, cannot immediately think of any other instances of the quote.
your turn!
-
I think I do!
-
Ack, I can *Almost* place it, but it's not coming to me! :slap
-
sorry Action...gonna beat you to it :p
That's Cera in LBT 5 when she formulates a plan to escape the Mysterious Island after the song "Big Water". She suggests using the log to cross the water.
Sorr-wee Action... :P: LOL :lol
-
Correct. Your turn Littlefoot-1616 :)
-
Cool...next quote
Whaddya mean "we"?
-
I'm sure that quote would belong to none other than Cera. It would SO be her! However, I can't quite place the scene.
-
I think I've got it B)
LBT 8: Just after the first lesson with Mr. Thicknose, the Gang is talking about how they made Thicknose upset. Cera responds with your quote.
Am I on the right track?
-
Right track?! Well you're definitely not on the left one! PMSL :lol
Guess that was a little too easy huh? Heh...gotta try harder next time. Not dealing with no watch-n-dash LBT viewers! :DD
The floor's all yours Action...go to it! ;)
-
:lol Haha, well let's see, what quote do I want to throw at you guys?
"We don't know..."
-
Like a hint, folks?
It is spoken in daylight.
-
Another hint: There is one more word at the end of this quote, which I left off because I figured it was too much of a giveaway. Sorry, I should have mentioned that earlier :bang
-
I think we need another hint.
-
It was spoken during the first half of one of Roy Allen Smith's sequels
-
Not quite certain, but didn't Littlefoot's grandfather say this when Littlefoot asked him why the Thundering Falls stopped falling?
-
You are Very close, Malte, however that quote is "I don't know, Littlefoot."
The quote I'm looking for is specifically "We don't know, Littlefoot." (there's another hint  )
You're in the right film though!
-
I got it its after mr threehorn (cera's dad) said that littlefoot is a bad influence
-
Littlefoot's grandmother says it after Littlefoot asked when everything will be lush and green again (following his experience with the dried up treestar).
-
Another good guess, but I'm afraid that is also incorrect :p
The scene you stated actually contains the quote "I don't know. I hope soon."
My quote is earlier in the film than the scene you are referring to.
"We don't know, Littlefoot."
-
I got it its after mr threehorn (cera's dad) said that littlefoot is a bad influence
Grandpa longneck's response to this is actually "That's not true!" and "Littlefoot is not to blame." , not "We don't know, Littlefoot."
Keep trying!
-
Another hint: The quote doesn't refer to the drought or lack of water in the Great Valley. It refers to another situation in the film.
-
I think that's what grandma said after LittleFoot asked what kind of earthshake was it right?
-
I think that's what grandma said after LittleFoot asked what kind of earthshake was it right?
Bingo! :D
"That wasn't a regular kind of earthshake, was it?"
"No, Littlefoot, it wasn't."
"Then what kind was it?
"We don't know, Littlefoot."
Your turn Dash!
-
"Me need too learn how too fall softer"
-
Oooh B)
That, my friend, is from LBT 9. Petrie says this when Littlefoot approaches him near the beginning of the film, looking for someone to play with. Petrie is sick. He sneezes, falls hard into his nest, then recites this quote.
On the right track?
-
*Ding Ding Ding* We've got a winner tell him what he's won Bob. :) Your turn for the quote Action9000.
-
Hmm, let's see....
"It dark in here."
-
Hmm.... I'm gonna take a swing at this I may be really far off. Petrie when he first enters the cave where Littlefoot was buried in Land Before Time 4?
-
Hmm.... I'm gonna take a swing at this I may be really far off. Petrie when he first enters the cave where Littlefoot was buried in Land Before Time 4?
Afraid not, but good try. B)
The quote is Not from LBT 4.
-
Here's a hint: The quote is spoken in an even-numbered LBT film. The scene it occurs in shows typical warm, dry weather.
-
LBT 6 when the gang is hiding in the hollow tree trunk (Petrie would say this if my guess is correct)?
-
Sounds good to me, Malte B)
Your turn!
-
Where are we now?
-
Wait a minute...this is from the very same part of LBT 6 as my quote :lol
After the log gets thrown across the Big Ditch, Cera speaks up, saying
"Oh, Great! Where are we now?"
-
Exactly. Recently I bought the DvDs of LBT 4, 5, and 6 from a video store (I hope this is the correct term for the place where you usually borrow DvDs). Though supposedly used the DvDs were in mint condition. Some of you may remember me mentioning that the scene from which my last quote comes was not on the German video version of the movie. The DvD with both languages has the scene in the German version, but there is no talking until Petrie's "It no look like tummy".
Anyway, your turn Tim. :)
-
Hmm, alrighty!
I don't...I...I mean, uh...
Good luck!
-
Littlefoot's grandfather's reaction to grandmas rebuke of filling the kids' heads with nonsense just before sleeping time at the beginning of LBT 6?
-
Very good guess there, Malte, but I'm afraid Grandpa Longneck never utters the words "I mean" in this little fumble for words. :lol
The quote I'm looking for clearly had the words "I mean" in it, in the precise structure shown in the quote above. I took care in writing it accurately to how it sounds in the film.
Try an earlier film.
-
Wait, I got it! :)
LBT 2...
It was Strut when he tried to explain to Ozzy what happened to the egg they took.
Ozzy: Did you save the egg?
Strut: *gulps* The... the... the egg?
*Ozzy gives a serious look*
Strut: Oh you mean THE EGG! Well, I don't... I... I mean... uh, those kids!
-
Ding! That's the one, pokeplayer :wow
Your go!
-
Here we go! "The One Word Challenge!" :D
Remember, the following word only appears ONCE in the entire series. :)
Here it is:
Break
Good luck! ;)
-
Whooooo, that took some thinking, but here's an answer for ya ;)
It was spoken by Lizzie in LBT 11, during the song "Girls and Dads" :yes
-
You only refer to the noun break, not to the verb, do you?
-
"Break" in this context (You're so small you'll Break) is a verb, Malte. To Break, is an action, not a person, place, or thing.
The noun is generally "Brake" referring to the pedal on an automobile.
The noun can also be "break" as in "a break in the wall".
All of these are correct and acceptable.
Otherwise, if you were responding to Pokeplayer when he said
Remember, the following word only appears ONCE in the entire series.
just ignore what I said above :p
-
Good job, Action9000!
However, with you being the LBT Music Geek, I'm not too surprised. :)
Your turn! :^.^:
EDIT: Oh, and Malte, with the "One Word Challenge," I pick ANY word. It hardly matters where it is in the sentence. So, it could end up being a noun, verb, adjective, etc. Basically, with the "One Word Challenge," it's hard to say what you'll expect. ;)
-
:D
Alrighty, how about:
so scared.
-
Any thoughts on the quote, folks?
It's spoken by a character present in every LBT film to date.
-
Right now, my only thought is that is is spoken by Cera.
-
Indeed it is. The quote was spoken by Cera 31 minutes into the Grosvenor film.
-
LBT 6. Cera assumes that Dinah and Dana are so scared (while in fact they seem to be having a good time, sharptooth or no sharptooth) ;)
-
LBT 6. Cera assumes that Dinah and Dana are so scared (while in fact they seem to be having a good time, sharptooth or no sharptooth)
That's it, Malte! Good job B)
Your turn!
-
What do you mean [...]
I'm positive this one comes up several times. You would make me happy if you can give me more than one, and euphoric if you can give me more than two examples ;)
-
I'm very sorry that I can't make you happy, as I can only think of one. :(
That's Grandpa Longneck in LBT 3: The Time of the Great Giving. He was discussing the terms of drinking at the watering hole with Mr. Threehorn.
Mr. Threehorn: It's not your time to drink, Longnecks!
Grandpa Longneck: What do you mean "not our time?"
Which then leads to Mr. Threehorn singing "Tough!"
-
If you insist you may come up with the next one, but as this one really comes up rather often (as a matter of fact I had not even thought of the example you gave) I think it would be more of a challenge if at least one more (better two) were given.
-
Well, it's been a while, but here it is yet again!
The One Word Challenge!! :)
Here we go!
Remember, the following word is spoken only ONCE in the whole series.
Here's the word:
Nasty
Good luck. :^.^:
-
You guys need a hint? :)
-
A hint may not be a bad idea. I'm afraid I'm stumped. :P:
-
Interesting you would ask for a hint action9000, becuase with what you do for this forums, I think you would be the one to know it. ;)
(I think that qualifies as a hint. :^.^:)
-
The closest I can think of is "natsy" from the song "Creepy Crawlers" from LBT 11...however that is clearly "Natsy" not "nasty".
Hmm...
If that is what you were referring to, I withdraw my request for a hint. :P: That's the first thing I thought of, and I couldn't get it out of my head. :p
-
That is actually it, action9000. That is actually the ONLY place the word "Nasty" appears. I believe it was Petrie's Mother who sang that part. :)
Was I a genius with this challenge or what? ;)
Well, your turn, action9000. :^.^:
-
Ehh...close enough :lol
Hmm...let's see...
(I'll post a quote in the near future, but I need to go to bed, lol :P: )
-
Ok here it is:
"...worried us sick..."
-
One of Chomper's parents after their first appearance in LBT 5?
-
Perfect! :D
I figured that using a subtitled quote would be less obvious than a spoken quote. :P: It took awhile to get this one! :p
Your turn!
-
Kind of a spontaneous intuition. I hadn't thought much about it and I guess it was kind of a coincidence that I suddenly thought of that scene.
What's wrong with...
I'm not entirely certain if this may occur more than once.
-
I'm going to jump all over this one: :P:
That's Cera in LBT 8, asking Ducky why she is acting strangely, shortly after their first meeting with Mr. Thicknose.
Right? :wow
-
Say, Malte? I think we both forgot about this game for some time. :p
-
I'm pretty sure when I put this up I had a quote in mind where the next word was not "[...]you" which is why I didn't put it up as it would have been a certain giveaway. However, while I remember those details I do not remember what quote I was thinking of
Sure enough Cera does say the same lines in LBT 8 so your turn it is Tim :)
-
LOL Now I'm the one who forgot to play!
Alright. Aaaanyways, here it is:
three-dee grr
-
Dinah (or was it Dana) telling Cera that her father wants her back home, or else Cera herself quoting one of them (she too wasn't sure whether it was Dinah or Dana) on the way to Saurus Rock.
-
Great answer, Malte! B)
Your go. :wow
-
I think we are [...]
This might appear more than once. I have a specific scene in mind, but if others are found this will do. Only condition is that "I think we are" is not the complete sentence but that there are more words (or one at least) to follow.
-
I'm thinking of a scene, but it may be the wrong one because it uses "we're" instead of "we are".
Littlefoot: I think we're here!
When seeing the crater hole for the first time, in LBT 10.
-
Good enough for me.
The scene I was thinking of was from LBT 7 "I think we are at the base of threehorn peak".
Your turn :)
-
What a dope!
-
That's Mutt.
Scene: Hyp, Nod and Mutt watching the scene of Hyp's dad fighting the sharpteeth.
Nod: Look at your dad risking his neck!
Mutt: Yeah, what a dope.
Hyp: He is not!
Then Hyp goes to try and help his dad.
-
Perfect, Pokeplayer! B)
Your turn!
-
^^You know, I bet Hyp felt like slugging Mutt when he called his dad a dope.
Anyways, it's time for The One Word Quote Challenge! :)
Here it is:
Dry
Good luck! :^.^:
-
Problem about this one word thing is that this word occurs very often throughout the series.
We have it very often in LBT 3 when the grownups are talking about the lack of water, or when Littlefoot's grandparents tell him about the treestars being "very dry now".
We have it in LBT 4 when the Old One tells about "what was once a dry land".
In the LBT 5 song "Big Water" they wish that the sun (not the bright circle) would fly up to make the water dry up.
In LBT 9 they use the word "dry" too at the beginning.
There are very many occassions for this word.
-
^^Whoops! You're right Malte! I wasn't thinking. -_-
Okay, let me go with another. (I always have a back up, just in case. ;))
Okay, try this one:
Depressed
Go for it! :^.^:
-
Got it! :D
LBT 11, during the song "Girls and Dads"
Cera AND Lizzy: "...can make a girl depressed."
Am I right?
-
Yep! That's it, action9000. Why am I not surprised the music geek got it?
Well, your turn! :yes
-
...my way.
-
Doc in LBT 6. "I always did it my way. Moving on looking for a place a little better" (or so).
-
Looks just fine to me, Malte. :yes
Your turn
-
breath
I think this occurs only twice (not totally sure though). One occurence will do. Not it is "the breath" not the action of breathing.
-
That, my good friend, is from LBT 7, when the Gang enters the steam shaft in Threehorn Peak:
Cera: "Smells like egg-stealer breath...!"
This one took me awhile, and eventually I had to read one of your other posts (discussing the German and English translations of the line) for this to come to me. Nice one Malte. B)
-
That's right. Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned the poor translation of that line in the N54 forum ;)
Good going, your turn. :yes
-
Whoops! Hey, it is my turn! LOL
Alrighty, here it is:
I cannot help it...
-
I completely forgot about this game, sorry!
Here's a clue to help speed things along a bit:
It was spoken in a water scene.
-
"I cannot help it if I can swim but Spike can not. I am a swimmer and he is not."
Ducky, from The Big Freeze, in the scene where she and her siblings are playing with their mon in the water, while Spike looks on, upset that he can not swim.
-
That's correct Stitch!
Your go! :D
-
Here's the next one:
Be food
-
Does Ducky say this in the 5th movie?
-
That's the right character and movie.
Your turn.
-
Here's the quote:
"...like brothers."
Let's see if you can tell who says it and on which movie.
-
Here's a wild guess, Littlefoot to Mo in LBT IX?
Or Littlefoot to Shorty in LBT X?
-
Your first answer was almost near. Your second answer was right, NewOrder. Littlefoot says that to Shorty. So I guess it's your turn, NewOrder. Give us your best shot!
-
Ups, sorry for the delay guys, didn't see it
Let me think of something, and I'll post it in the next day or so
-
Here you go guys:
It's OK, it's just a trick of the wind
Sorry for the long wait
-
Littlefoot, from film 5, just before Always There.
-
Yup, your turn Stitch
-
This should be easy as pie:
Cewa
-
Tricia nearing the end of LBT 12?
-
That's it.
Your turn.
-
(Off-topic for a moment:
I have a quick announcement for this game. Due to lack of partipation from most members, I would like to request that the difficulty of this game remain reasonable for the majority of members here. Anyone who finds this game too easy, feel free to move to the Synonymous Quote game and put your LBT and general intellect to the test! As a result, please, no more "one word challenges" unless they are relatively simple ones (the one just above me is fine).
In short, please don't make this game too insanely difficult. :P:
Thanks,
Action9000)
-
Since NewOrder isn't taking his turn, I'm going to substitute in his place: :nyah
"Just because it shakes like Cera does not mean that it is as scary as Cera."
-
Ducky, in "The Canyon of Shiny Stones", referencing smokey mountain.
-
haha there ya go! :p
Your turn.
-
well?
-
Cera in LBT 2?
-
someone needs to make a quote, is it Stitch or just takeover?
-
Uh oh. I hadn't read carefully and had thought the "well?" to be the next quote :lol
Your turn Stitch :yes
-
oh, no :P: I heard there's a guideline of no 1 word quotes
-
Sorry. I forgot all about this.
"That's my little..."
-
Cera referring to Tricia in LBT 12 (ending event)?
-
Yeah, that's it.
Your turn.
-
I'mma try this because I (from what I can recall, watching all the movies) see this as only coming up once
"Ninny"
I'll change it if no one gets it by tomorrow
-
The only person (dino) to use that phrase has to be Mr Thicknose from LBT 8 in the sentence "What am I doing? I should be protecting these young ones not running like a ninny!" Made me laugh that line! :lol
-
YESS!! good I forgot to change it then :p your turn
-
Cool! OK...next quote
"No problem at all..."
-
I'm going on a whim here, but didn't Mr Threehorn say that to Doc in lbt 6?
-
My guess is also just that, a guess, but was it Sue talking to Littlefoot's grandpa?
-
Here is the next one:
Mayby you could stop to play around for now
-
Hold your horses Nimrod ;)
We don't know yet it either of the guesses on the previous quote was correct. It is always the one who answered the last quote question who posts the next one (unless the winner wants to pass it on or just doesn't post the next question for a long time).
-
Well, okey than I am sorry, take my one back, but what is the last one? I can¥t find it
-
Well, I found it now, wasn¥t it chomper from LBT 5 when Cera was sorry, cause she said he had ate ducky?
-
Now we need your confirmation or disaffirmation Littlefoot1616. We had three guesses and I think that Nimrod has it right, but I am not sure and right now I don't have my LBT 5 audio CD at hand to make sure about it. Is one of the guesses right (or possibly two? Is it possible that the phrase occured more than once?)
-
Sorry for the late reply guys! I completely forgot about this thread after I didnt get a reply for a while.
Anyway, having looked over your responses, I have to say that NONE of you have landed the answer I was looking for. As far as I can tell, all those responses are close but not EXACTLY the words that are spoken within the movie.
I guess given the current guesses, I'll issue a few clues:
1. Someone's got the right movie but the wrong scene
2. Someone's got one of the characters but they should be the RECEIPIENT of this quote instead of the actual speaker
3. It's not a named character per se...but just identify who is actually speaking this line and I'll pass it over
If you still can't get it, I'll give ya one last clue that'll be too easy to get wrong ;)
Happy guessin'!
-
I have no idea
-
Cool! OK...next quote
"No problem at all..."
The Ultrasaurus, followed by "little lady" to Sue
-
*Bing* *Bing* *Bing* *Bing* *Bing* *Bing*
We have a winner!
Nicely done Tails! I suppose that IQ of 300 made it a sinch for you! :^.^:
You're next
-
"on the inside we're still alike"
-
Is that quote from LBT VII: The Stone Of Cold Fire?
-
-shakes head- nope
-
The Great Day Of The Flyers?
-
nah, a small fraction of the audience has an advantage here XD
-
I give up.
-
I strongly suppose it is from a TV series episode which I didn't watch yet.
-
It's the line they have at the end of Kids Like Us on the Songs from LBT cd.
-
-rings a bell- We have a winner folks!
-
 Wow, I really didn't think of that one.
-
Here's the next one:
"landing gear down"
-
You guys need a hint?
-
if I figure right it has to do with the "BIG FLYER" in 7
-
That's not it.
Hopefully I won't have to give twelve clues before someone gets it.
-
apparently you will... I don't have time to watch it for the answer :p
-
Is it from the twelveth movie?
-
I'm guessing that's a hint
-
I'm guessing that's a hint
I'm just guessing I've seen all but the 12th movie. so it is a posibility.
-
Guido in LBT XII? When Petries landing after their first successful practice for the day of the flyers?
-
That's it.
Your turn, Flathead770.
-
no that's head up shoulders back something... you did it go Petrie
Really? I'd have to watch it again then
-
Ok heres the next one:
"Don't worry, its not your fault...IT'S YOURS!!!"
-
That's from LBT 6: The Secret Of Saurus Rock
-
I hate to see you do this, so I'm going to help you out. The rules of the game are that not only must you state what movie/whatever it was from, you must also state who said it and who it was addressed to.
-
Cera said it to Littlefoot.
-
Your correct Dinonut. Cera says this to Littlefoot on the way back from getting Dinah and Dana from Saraus Rock.
Your turn!
-
"Those kids have ruined our lunch for the last time."
-
I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say that Ozzy said it to Strut in LBT 2.
-
Correct. Your turn.
-
"But Threehorns are supposed to be brave!"
-
Cera says that in the tv episode "The spooky nighttime adventure"
-
...You're forgetting something, Flathead770. Come on, now, don't let that happen to you!
-
I'll just go ahead and spill the beans. Cera said that to Chomper in the TV episode "The Spooky Nightime Adventure." We have to tell the movie/episode, who said it, and who they said it to (including 'themself' or 'no one' as answers. ;) Well, what should we do, now?
-
heh, i don't remember that episode very well anyway, so i probably wouldn't of got it. I guess you can post another quote if you want.
-
Okay. :^.^:
"You should have listened to me tell you you shouldn't come with me."
-
I'll have to offer a hint. The above quote did not occur in a sequel.
-
Ruby said it to Spike, Ducky, Petrie, and Chomper in the episode of "Return To Hanging Rock" from the TV series.
-
I'll give it a shot:
Character 1:"It's always like this isn't it?"
Character 2: "Yes, if they don't see it with their own eyes, it doesn't exist, what limited thinking..."
-
Aha! It's the 2 rainbowfaces in LBT 7: The Stone of Cold Fire!
-
Aha! It's the 2 rainbowfaces in LBT 7: The Stone of Cold Fire!
Yes it is! :D you get a a batch of cookies!
-
Woohoo! Cookies!
ANYway...here's a quote:
"Spike up! ... Spike down..."
-
Ehh... Petrie, from... Oh man, I haven't seen the movies for a while, and the stress of my current "life" (rather, my execution-to-be, as I call it) is giving me memory problems!
Petrie, from LBT uhh, 3? Yeah, "The Time of the Great Giving," isn't it...? It would almost have to be... *Geez; if only my memory wasn't so screwed up... I could recall it in my head! -_- *
-
For someone with a "screwed up" memory, you got it right on the mark! It was when Petrie tried to get Spike to wake up to find more water for the Valley...and Spike landed back to sleep on top of Petrie. Your turn!
-
Aha! *Yeah, I remember the situation clearly.* I thought so... That's the only movie it could have come from, I told myself... Hmm; gawd, I can't think of anything to put down...
Hmm; what I have to put down, would either be too memorable, or too obvious... But, I'll try...
Okay; got one!
"That's right! That's exactly how it happened!"
Okay... It's probably obvious... And, I hope I got the quote right, as it's been a while since I've seen the movies...
-
That'd be...Littlefoot to the rest of the gang in LBT XI, when describing how they found the tree-sweet tree, I think, about five minutes into the movie...
-
BINGO! We have a winner! (Sorry I didn't post here for a while... I kinda forgot about it!)
Okay, dude! Your turn!
-
Woot! Gotta love number 11, I say.
Okay, let's see what I can dig up here...
"But I'm not sure which rock to step on next. This one's closer, but it looks sorta slippery."
-
Cera from LBT X
-
"Stop where you are, sharpteeth!"
-
"Stop where you are, sharpteeth!"
That must be Land Before Time III- The Time of Great Giving.
Mr.Treehorn says it to the Velociraptors as they try to take down the gang, Hyp, Mutt, Nod and Hyp's father... :^.^:
-
what character said this "Their star swimmers".
-
That'll be Mo from LBT 9 when he shows Littlefoot the starfish right before they break into the song "No one has to be alone"
-
correct good job. :^.^:
-
Whoops...took me long enough to come back to this thread! :D
Right, here we go then
"...Is that good or bad?"
-
@ Littlefoot1616: I think...that's from Cera in the 8th sequel when she's asking Ducky what's wrong :p I think...that's the best I can come up with...
-
Close Rat Lady but not the one. Keep on guessin' :^.^:
-
Whoops...took me long enough to come back to this thread! :D
Right, here we go then
"...Is that good or bad?"
I think i know is it in The Land before time 13 when Littlefoot said "Is that good or bad"? after Loofah said Makes sense to me.
-
*DING DING DING DING*
We have a winner! Congrats stars! You correctly identified that quote! Here's what you've won!
*opens envelope* "The ability to pick another LBT quote in order to keep the game going"
Wow. Great. The floor's all yours matey! ;)
(I just can't do anything by halves can I? I'm such a pleb :lol )
Your turn stars ;)
-
thanks that was a surprise that was the best gift to keep the game going. Im glad i got it right :^.^:
ok here is my Land Before Time quote "ahhh another one" :)
-
I believe that was from the 2nd movie. After knocking out Chomper's mom with a boulder, Cera says "Ahhh! Another one!" when Chomper's father emerges from the trees. I'm not sure if she actually addressed it to anyone though, but if I had to guess, I'd say Spike.
-
you got it good job i belive it is your turn :)
-
Oops..I forgot all about this.
"They saw us just standing around arguing with Mr. Threehorn here!"
-
Ducky's mum in LBT 7?
-
That's correct. :) Your turn, Malte.
-
Hold it right there!
-
Is that Mr. Thicknose in the 8th sequal when he realizes that Little Foot, Cera, and Petrie are going to try to find Spike and Ducky in the mysterious beyond?
-
Nope.
-
Oh wait a mintue! I remember now! It's Cera from LBT 7 in the beginning when she goes, "What? Hold it right there!" when Petrie is the narrator, telling Pterano's view of how the world was like years ago.
-
That's right :yes
Your turn Rat_lady :)
-
"Don't be scared!"
-
If it was "Do not be scared" I would say Ducky in LBT 4, but it isn't ;)
Maybe this one is a quote that appears on more than one occasion.
-
It's from LBT 5, during the song "Always there"
Ducky: "She would wrap her tail around me, and tell me, don't be scared,"
-
If it was "Do not be scared" I would say Ducky in LBT 4, but it isn't ;)
Maybe this one is a quote that appears on more than one occasion.
Nope, guess again.
-
It's from LBT 5, during the song "Always there"
Ducky: "She would wrap her tail around me, and tell me, don't be scared,"
Nope sorry.
-
Whoa, wait mintue...I realized on the original post it said to list quotes from only the movies. Can I add quotes from the tv show too?
If I can't, sorry about that I didn't realize it :p
-
I don't think there was a TV series when the first post was made.
I'm sure that's fine.
Is it when Chomper is comforting Ducky while they're stuck on that ledge?
-
Nope try again. I'll give you a hint. The line is in a particular song in the tv series.
-
Was it when Guido and Petrie were stuck in that cave thing?
-
Was it when Guido and Petrie were stuck in that cave thing?
Ding, ding! We have a winner!
Your turn! :)
-
Dialogue:
"I'm gonna get you!"
"Not if I get you first!"
-
LBT 3 just a few moments before hyp shows up while the gang are playing in the pond
-
That sounds about right (not having seen the movie in years, I actually don't know where it came from. Sounds like something Hyp would say, though)
All engines are go, f-22. You're up!
-
I found it! Hee!
-
Cera in the first movie after they stumble across that copse of trees which Cera at first mistakes for the Great Valley?
-
yeah you turn malte
-
"You're late"
-
That was Littlefoot to Petrie while the gang was playing "bowling" in LBT 7.
-
Thats correct; and I'm sorry about being late in confirming your response.
-
Next one's really tough. Don't say the first thing that comes to mind before thinking it over first. It might be a trick question.
"Some things you see with your eyes; others, you see with your heart."
-
Littlefoot's mother from the first LBT... :p
-
I can't believe it took over half a month for someone to notice this freebie.
Good job, Neptune. Eur'ope!
-
All your fault LBT ;)
Everyone believed you when you wrote:
Don't say the first thing that comes to mind before thinking it over first. It might be a trick question.
:lol
-
Here it goes:
Hey longneck, here it cames!
-
Cera's father in LBT 8 when rolling a snowball at Littlefoot's grandpa.
-
That was fast Malte :p
-
Somehow that one must have stuck ;)
Why the rush?
-
Oh I know! That one is from the seventh sequel when Grandma Longneck is asking Little Foot, "Why the rush?" since Little Foot fell into the water, to her he was in a rush to take a bath.
-
Correct :yes
Your turn Rat_Lady.
-
"Don't ever wake me up again!"
-
LBT movie 13, when Littlefoot wakes up Cera concerned about the Yellowbelies.
-
Yup! :yes
Your turn!
-
Sorry for taking so long...
Here it goes:
How come I have to be the bad guy?
-
Cera in LBT 6, when they were playing "Lone Dinosaur" for the first (and last) time.
-
Correct!
Your up :)
-
The first thing about this quote is that it was not spoken in the English version of this film.
"Food."
-
Another hint, then. It's the Finnish version.
-
^ I doubt many people will understand Finnish, Finnland being the only Scandinavian country from where we don't have a member at this time and Finnish being no Indo-European language either.
-
"Toska tasko lampo" (get the flashlight) The only Finnish I know. :D
But I have no idea about this one! :slap
-
i know! that was spike! that was his very first word in LBT I and if you count every language! gee, it looks like spike had a big apetite since his birth! :P:
-
Bingo! I don't understand Finnish either, but this fact can be found on Wikipedia and LBT Wiki, so I assumed some others might know it. Plus I felt Spike deserved a quote on here; he doesn't get too many :smile
You're up kjeldo! (Hey, 1,000 posts, congratulations! :birthday)
-
sorry for being so late,
here's mine
if you fall, there's skinny little river way down you might fall in maybe,
-
LBT 6, Petrie to Ducky who is terrified at the idea of crossing the ditch over the log (strangely enough with her having no problem at all to cross it hopping over the rocky pinnacles)?
-
yup, i hadn't the time to take a better one
next!
-
Sorry, I forgot it was my turn :oops
"I know another path"
-
If remember correctly, it's one of Littlefoot's quotes, when they are trying to escape the fire in the third movie "LBT: The Time of the Great Giving"
-
Correct :yes
I had thought that one to be more tricky ;)
Your turn.
-
"A big smelly pile of dirt"
Hope it's not too easy
-
Littlefoot in LBT 6 trying to talk himself out of the fear of the supposed corpse of the Sharptooth?
-
Maybe I should try a little harder, next time.
Your turn Malte
-
"We'll see each other before you know it."
-
My guess would be at the end of the tienth movie, where the gang and Littlefoot says goodbye to eath other.
-
Nope, not there.
-
It's in the eighth sequel and Ducky's mom says that to Spike when he's about to leave.
(BTW thanks for the compliment on my avatar. I really wish I had a rat like that though.)
-
That's right Rat_lady :yes
Your turn.
You may yet find the kind of avatar you are looking for. For the time being I find those little button eyes (hope "button eyes" is the is the right term) just adorably cute ;)
-
(Button eyes is fine. :yes)
"Listen to mine!"
-
I think this one is from LBT 3. If I am not very mistaken one of the grownups is shouting this when the grownups start arguing about which plan to realize in order to bring the water back to the valley (while Hyp, Nod, and Mutt are setting out with the gang on their heels). I don't think it is certain who of the grownups made that call, but it might have possibly been Ducky's or Petrie's mother.
-
You're right! :lol And I thought I was giving people a challenge. :P: In the sequel, it is isn't clear who made the comment, but it was someone.
You're up!
-
"It's this way"
-
Cera or Littlefoot (I think they both say it) during LBT 1 when they are arguing which way to go.
-
Nope, they don't ;)
-
Isn't it Mr. Threehorn in LBT III, when he's trying to get the other dinosaurs to follow him to escape the fire?
-
No.
On second thought, I am not quite sure if this quote I came up with is used repeatedly throughout the series. I cannot think of a second time, but it may be my leaking memory. So in case somebody finds the words in a spot other than the one I thought off, it will of course count.
-
This is my report on the source of the quote in question: "It's this way"
In accordance with the guidelines mentioned at the beginning of this topic:
1. It is from The Land Before Time IX: Journey to Big Water.
2. Littlefoot spoke the sentence/statement.
3. The sentence/statement was addessed to Littlefoot's grandfather.
To show everyone who wasn't aware of what part this quote is derived from, I shall reiterate the scenario as best as possible:
Littlefoot climbs on top of a log, although he slips a bit at first.
"Gee, sky water has really changed the land around here."
He clears throat, then begins speaking in a deep voice so as to sound like there is really someone else there, in an attempt to make up for him feeling alone. "Think it's safe to go on, Littlefoot?" he asks himself.
Returning to his normal his normal voice, he answers himself by saying, "Sure it is. Maybe "we'll" find some new kind of creature like Grandpa said!" while walking off the log.
After going on top of a rock, he clears his voice again, resuming that deep voice which makes the impression to him that he is actually talking to a different character, and says, "Okay, but we have to be careful."
Using his real voice again, he challenges his "other self" and says, "Awww, don't be such a scaredy egg!" Then he gasps and exclaims, "Whoa!" after seeing all the new water in the Great Valley. "Look at that! There's so much water!" he exclaims.
Then with his deep sounding, "careful" personality, he says, "Uh, I think "we've" gone too far from home now, Littlefoot."
Now for the first time, he uses his normal voice to actually agree with his deep one, "Yeah. you may be right." With that, he runs off and the camera zooms out to show a lot of new water and that it's flooding part of the Great Valley.
When he comes back, he has a lot of grownups with him, including his grandfather. Littlefoot, who was leading the way to where he saw the new water, calls out when he arrives, "Over here, Grandpa! It's this way!"
I will patiently await evaluation on my report for as long as necessary. Thank you for your time.
-
Uh, you're welcome.
-
Somebody likes to type ;)
The laconic answer is that you are right and it is your turn :yes
-
Uh, you're welcome.
Sorry if I sounded a little weird at the end of my report. I said that because I knew my last post probably took longer to read than any of the other ones here, so I justed wanted to be polite and thank everyone for taking to the time to read it, that's all.
Somebody likes to type
Sorry about that. I'll try to tone that down here.
Two characters at the exact same time, "What?"
While I only recall this happening one time, you know how these things can go sometimes...
-
Petrie and ducky, right? I just can't remember when...
-
I cannot guarantee if you are right or not. Ducky and Petrie is not the example I have in mind, nor do I recall them ever doing that. But as I, like everyone, can miss something, I will mark your answer as pending until someone can say when Ducky and Petrie do that, or when someone verifies that that didn't happen in a movie or episode yet. I will give a hint. The time I can account for happens in a sequel that takes place before the 11th movie came out, because after reading other posts here, some people haven't seen past the 10th so I wanted this question to be answerable to as many people as possible.
-
Ducky and Petrie say one word, "What?!", in LBT 4 just after Cera's comment, "If Littlefoot would rather play with her, then he's not our friend!"
Spike wouldn't have said "What?!"
Cera made the comment so she didn't
Littlefoot and Ali weren't paying attention.
That leaves Ducky and Petrie.
-
That's it! Tim's got it. Credit goes to him.
But I think TFS is thinking of a different moment.
-
Man, I hate it when I miss obvious things like that. That is indeed correct. Oh well. My idea is irrelavant now, so action9000, it is your turn. I guess I can't call my question mud brother trivia anymore. (Sigh)
-
Mud brother trivia? Were the characters supposed to be Mo and Littlefoot?
-
Yes, in 9, when Mo makes Littlefoot a "bubble face" and Cera gets annoyed and stomps off, Littlefoot and Mo say, "What?" Well, action9000 hasn't come here in over two weeks after it was his turn so he must have gotten busy. Also, you did just get my original idea, hint or not. To keep this going LB&T, I think it would be okay if you went next. I thought this topic had lost popularity and was being left alone, like the one above this one. Thank you for brining them both back so I can post in those places again. Later!
-
"Count us in too!"
-
As I promised previously in this thread, I will tone my responses here down a bit.
In accordance with the guidelines mentioned at the beginning of this topic:
1. It is from The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving.
2. Kosh spoke the sentence/statement, or if you prefer formalities, it was Mr. Clubtail.
3. The sentence/statement was addessed to Littlefoot's grandfather.
During the scene where the gang, the bullies, and four grownups were ambushed by fastbiters, Littlefoot's grandpa told the children to stay behind him. Shortly afterwards, Kosh/Mr. Clubtail tells Grandpa Longneck to "count us in too!". Now since Topsy/ Mr. Threehorn had already verbally expressed his participation in the protection of the children, I believe the "us" part referrenced only to Kosh himself and Hyp's father. I hope that this is the example that you are thinking of, and if not, I will try again. Later!
-
I thought the Lambeosaurus said it, not Kosh. But I'm basing this off of my memory of a movie I haven't watched since last June, so...
You're up, TFS!
-
Now hold on a moment, now you've got me worried. I couldn't go next not knowing if I was right or accidentally cheated you. If I kept this game going to find out that the one I saw wasn't Kosh, I would feel terrible. It's just that Kosh is rarely if ever actually called that during any movies so while I did see the dinosaur that said this, perhaps it wasn't Kosh and was really someone else. I won't continue until I can prove if I'm right or if I'm mistaken. You seem to know these characters really well. I just went on youtube. Here is the scene, so you can see if I made an error. Check out 7:43 on:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPcMOXsxvHQ&feature=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPcMOXsxvHQ&feature=related)
Well, what's the verdict?
-
One off topic question, is the clubtail ever named? Do they call him Kosh? I never noticed, when do they?
-
TFS, I knew Kosh was there, but I just didn't remember which character said the line. But, upon reviewing the video you posted, you're right; the Lambeosaurus isn't even present at the time. either way, you picked out the right moment, so you're entitled to go next.
Malte, His name is given as Kosh in the credits to the TV episode "The Star Day Celebration."
-
Alrighty then! Now, I've decided to approach this game the safest way I can. From here on out, when I provide a quote, since I can sometimes be unsure if it was used multiple times or not, I'll just ask for at least one instance that it was used. Sound good? Okay, here is it is:
Oh, that would be nice.
One word of advice: I try to make sure that quotes I provide are word for word, so don't even try
That would be good.
said by Ducky from the episode Cave of Many Voices. I will be available to provide further clues if necessary. Later!
-
"Leave me alone you little pest! GET LOST!!!"
-
Cera to Dinah and Dana in LBT 6 after they had caused her to fall in the mud.
-
Okay, I'm writing this so it is known that I'm aware that my question was responded to here. Due to complicated circumstances, I am unable to check to see if that answer is right tonight. Tomorrow, I will be able to. It's complicated...
So, while that wasn't what I was thinking of, quotes can frequently be in multiple places unbeknownst to the question provider. So when I can check, I will erase the content of this post, and say if this works or not in its stead. Later!
____________________________________________________________________
Oh, nevermind, my mistake. I should have looked more closely. I thought the latest post here was responding to my question. I'm glad there is a new one though. Mine must have been too general of a statement to work with. After two months, I should have already known that. Well, please continue. I'll try better here next time. Later!
-
To get this thread back going I'll just come up with the next one without confirmation as I'm pretty sure about the answer of the last one.
"carnivore" (the word is used only once in all LBT movies I think).
-
Let's see.
The Land Before Time VI: The Secret of Saurus Rock
During the song "The Lone Dinosaur"
Sang by Petrie
Quote: "Whenever times are frightning, he'll be there to fight the carnivore
."
I do not recall another usage of that word, but I like to answer as intended, so if you are thinking of a different time that term is used, please let me know, and I'll try again. Later!
PS: I know it's supposed to be spelled "frightening," but the e was removed in this song so the word could be pronounced with only two syllables so that it work fit the rhythm better.
Fright/ning instead of fright/en/ing.
-
^ That's perfectly right :yes
Your turn.
-
Ah, great! I was pretty sure that was it. So, it's my turn, huh...
But ya can't blame a guy for tryin'.
Now, in order to prevent me from stagnating this game for two months like the last time I tried this, could someone please let me know when I become too general? I'm not very good at finding challenging quotes that use keywords, so I just try to use ones that are very subtle, and won't typically bring a well-known scene to mind. I'm sorry if that makes this too difficult. I can try a different approach if it does. I don't want to be the cause of an inch of dust piling on this thread again.
-
Like "The Friendly Sharptooth I feel the same way. Almost everybody knows most of the Lines of LBT and its hard finding ones we don't know.
-
Alright, time to bring this up :).
"Oh, great! Where are we now?!"
-
"Oh, great! Where are we now?!"
That one would be Cera from LBT 6 and they are inside that hollow log which the sharptooth just hurled across the ravine.
We haven't yet found the quote:
But ya can't blame a guy for tryin'.
I must admit that with any quotes from the last few sequels or the TV series I'm not likely to find them.
-
Correct, Malte :yes. You're up!
As for that other quote, it does not ring a bell .
-
But ya can't blame a guy for tryin'.
That one would be Archie from LBT 4:
"This cave's a dangerous place, ya know?" ;)
-
Alright, time to bring this thread up :).
"Do you have to ask?"
-
I think that’s from LBT XIII, spoken by Cera to Littlefoot after he asks her if it’s good or bad that his plan of how to find Berry Valley makes sense to Loofah.
-
Correcto :yes!
You're up, Pangaea.
-
Okay, here goes:
Hey, it was dark, okay!
(I hope no one's used this one yet...)
-
That's Ducky!
"It is not a Great ANYTHING. "
Who is it? Guess.
-
"It is not a Great ANYTHING. "
Who is it? Guess.
Actually, the rules of this game are that the person who made up the last quote has to post back and say Yes or No before the game can continue.
No worries! :D
-
'Fraid it wasn't Ducky who said it (Nope nope nope! :p), and you didn't mention what movie it was from or who it was said to (as per the rules). Glad to see someone showing interest in the game, though. :yes
If it helps, Ducky was the one the line was spoken to. ;)
-
Petrie said that line in...LBT 10 I think, when discussing which boulder to sleep next to? I think? Maybe? :p
-
Ah, close enough. :p
I was thinking of the scene (in LBT X :yes) after Cera, Spike, Petrie, and Ducky make the unpleasant discovery that the boulder they spent the night next to was actually a sharptooth. Petrie spoke the line in response to Ducky's remark,
That is the last time I trust Petrie to pick out a boulder to sleep near!
Your turn! ;)
-
Alrighty! :D
"Life in the Great Valley remained the same"
-
That's the narrator giving the introduction in LBT IV (addressed to the viewer :p).
-
Right you are!
Your turn :)
-
How the heck did it take me three days to notice this thread was up and running again!? :slap :wacko We need to make these pinned threads more obvious!
How 'bout this one?
I do not agree.
-

I do not agree.
I'm pretty sure i'm gudda get this wrong, but i think it is TOPSY from 11: INVASION OF THE TINYAURUSES
-
The lack of contractions makes me think it's Ducky. Darned if I know from where, though.
-
The lack of contractions makes me think it's Ducky. Darned if I know from where, though.
I thought that too, but an "I do not agree" sounds like something Topsy would say in a situation like in Stone of Cold Fire or Invasion of the Tinysauruses :)
-
Wow. It's been months since this thread has seen so much activity. :DD
Need some hints?
-

yeah
-
LettuceBacon&Tomato is correct in it being a Ducky quote, and it is spoken in a move preceding The Stone of Cold Fire.
Don't forget, you also need to identify who the line is addressed to.
-
It is Ducky from LBT 5 when the Sharptooth disshevells the shelter the Gang had taken and which Littlefoot had suggested to be safe only a moment before. If this is correct, I pass on the next quote to anyone who wants to post it as I am not likely to be on the GOF regularly during the next days.

i hop you get it right. i have a quote right now!

Sorry. I meant to verify sooner, but it slipped my mind. :wacko Malte is correct. (Of course, he's pretty much impossible to stump. :p) Go ahead, thebigdeal. :)

ok, this is from a song from the tv series:
is everybody ready? here's your quote!:
My Apologies. I TRIED TO PLEASE.
if you need any more clues just tell me
-
Of course, he's pretty much impossible to stump
Not so, anything from LBT 10 onward including the TV series is nothing that I know by heart, so I am unlikely to guess the current quote for example ;)
-

I'll have to make sure to use a lot of post-LBT IX quotes when I play this game with you, then. :p
My Apologies. I TRIED TO PLEASE.
Even without any clues I recognized that one. :p It's Mr. Thicknose declaring that he can't fix Chomper's tooth in "The Mysterious Tooth Crisis".

Easy there with the post quoting. :p (Seriously, no need to quote someone else's entire post if only a small fraction of it is relevant to your message. ;))
Okay, here’s my quote:
That’s the basic idea.
Malte could probably recognize this one (it comes from a pre-LBT X sequel). Let me know if you want more clues.
-
I know where it is from :yes
I'll leave the stage to others for a while and only answer if nobody else does.

Land Before Time 7, Cera says it to Petrie
-
All I know is its a Cera quote...just sounds like her. Couldn't say what film its from. tbd could have it correct.
-
You got it, thebigdeal! :yes
For the benefit of anyone who still doesn’t recognize the quote, here’s the conversation that leads up to it (I’m reciting it from memory, so it may not be word-for-word correct):
Petrie: This all my fault!
Cera: You can say that again!
Petrie: Why? If me say again it only make me feel worser!
Cera then says the line.

littlfoot said it because petrie grabbed on his neck

Yeah that's the one I'm thinking of. ;) Now you post a quote for others.

ok, but i need to use caps on this one just to show that the character is yelling
could things get any worse?
YOU HAD TO ASK, DID YOU? i hope i got the quote right, i haven't seen the movie in month
-
Little Foot says the first part, "Could things get worse?"
Cera says the second part, "You had to ask didn't you?"
This is from the 8th sequel.

here you go, i needed caps again
"Does it hurt?"
"No. YOU THINK IT WILL?"

I'm pretty sure that's Littlefoot (I know it's either him or Ducky, but watching the episode to verify would be cheating, I think :p) talking to Chomper (who says the second line) in "The Mysterious Tooth Crisis".

Lemme see...
How 'bout this one?:
Why does this have to happen every time we go adventuring?
-
(I have no clue where its from but it sounds like a Cera quote. ;) )
-
^ Cera might have said something similar to this at some point, but she’s not the character I’m thinking of. I’ll tell you that the quote’s from the TV Series, but for now I want to see how long I can stump you all. :p

Well, then, here are three hints:
1. The quote is from a member of the original gang.
2. It is from a TV episode.
3. It was never actually spoken.

i can't find it anywhere!
The last clue is a bit of a riddle, but once you understand it, the answer should be blaringly obvious:
The line was not vocally uttered by a character; rather, it was spoken in the character's mind.
-
Spike from "Through the Eyes of a SpikeTail" I'm guessing?
-
Congratulations! You got it! :D
-
Uh hey...
-
Uh hey...
Hmm...would that be Littlefoot to Doc in LBT VI?
(This is just a guess to keep the game going; I really have no idea where this quote's from. :p)

Yup. :yes
-
Wow! And on a lucky guess, too!
I'm not sure, but this next quote may have been spoken more than once in the series; if one of you comes up with an example other than the one I'm thinking of, I'll give it to you:
I take that back.
-

Strut, Land Before Time 2
-
I wasn't thinking of that example; can you describe the specific scene where Strut says that?
P.S. Thanks for reviving this thread. :)
-
I know I'm going to be wrong, but I just want to revive these games. :p
I'm thinking Little Foot says it in LBT 8? :p
-
Thanks a ton for bumping these threads, Amy. :) I was afraid they'd been forgotten.
Unfortunately, I'm afraid that was neither the character nor the movie I was thinking of (though I can't remember whether or not anyone spoke the same line in LBT VIII).
-
Is it all right if I join in? I think I've got the answer.
Archie says it in LBT IV when he and Littlefoot spot Ichy and Dil chasing them. He says;
"I take that back. Worry!"
-
Soitenly you can join! :smile This game is open to everyone!
Whoa, I totally forgot that Archie used that line! :o But no, that's not the example I was thinking of.
-
Oh, darn! I thought I had it. Oh well, easy come, easy go. I'm out of idea's.
-
Gah…It's been so long since I played this game that I'm having trouble remembering the rules. :wacko
Hopefully it's okay for me to give you a hint: the line comes from a movie later than any of the ones that have been guessed already.
-
I'm back and since I just watched the movie I think it's from I've got an idea.
Guido says it in LBT XII When he's on top of the Spinosaurus's back comenting about his scariest moment ever. He says; "I take that back. AUGHHHHHH!"
Did I get it right that time?
-
That's it! :D Congratulations! Your turn to post a quote! :smile
-
WEEEE!!!! I got it!
Okay, here comes the hard part.
You gotta be kidding.
Okay, take it away.
-
Cera.
-
Simply put...no. that's not what I'm looking for. Good guess though. :)
-
Cera.
Just so you know, you have to identify not only the character, but the movie/episode in which he/she spoke the line, and who the line was addressed to (although I would think that describing the scene in which it was spoken would be sufficient).
P.S. I think I know the answer, but I'm going to hold out for a while to give someone else a chance to guess. :angel (I can't think of a new quote at the moment, anyway. :p)
-
Due to the new rules for this section, this thread is fair game again. This quote, I am fairly certain, has only been used once in The Land Before Time series.
Hic!
Yes, a LBT character hiccups. It is definately audible, so I know I heard it right, and the character's body even jerks when it happens, so yeah, this quote is the only, to my knowledge, time a LBT character has that infamous involuntary contraction.
-
Here is a hint: The movie is a prime number, and the character is a male.
-
WEEEE!!!! I got it!
Okay, here comes the hard part.
You gotta be kidding.
Okay, take it away.
Skitter, number XI
-
Yes, you are correct, Allicloud, but it's still TFS' turn. You see, the new rules of the the Party room games state that if the appropriate length of time is consumed and no one has answered the question, another one can be posted, and TFS has done just that, therefore, even though you got it right, it's still his turn. Sorry, but good jonb on getting it right. :)
-
Another hint: This quote was spoken near a body of water.
-

Ok, I got this one:
Petrie, number III.
-
Ok, I got this one:
Petrie, number III.
You, sir, could not be any more correct. Very good listening skills, I must say. Feel free to ask away when you are ready.
-
Okay, here goes...
"Meep-meep!"
-
It's from The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island, it was said by Petrie, and it was addressed to Cera as she tried crossing a log.
-
Wow! You did awesome, Friendly Sharptooth!
Alright, guess I'll have to make the next one harder.
"Oh yes yes yes, I am...I guess!"
Hopefully that'll keep you guessin for a while...
-
Wow! You did awesome, Friendly Sharptooth!
Why thank you.
It's from The Land Before Time IX: Journey to Big Water, it was said by Ducky, and it was addressed to Mo. She eagerly accepted a compliment until her humble nature set in, in which case she grew quiet and downplayed the acceptance of her being special with the extra, "I guess."
-
Good job! I didn't really realize until I watched it again to write it down, and then read that comment, that Ducky downplayed that compliment! I guess Isometimes do that sort of thing too, when someone says "You did awesome playing piano" I might go, "Awe, it was nothin" or "I could've done a little better". I guess if someone pays me a compliment i should accept it full on, though. But anyways, here's my 3rd one.
"Same thing!"
-
Not interesting enough? Kay, here goes another one:
"Are you crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
-
"Not interesting enough? Kay, here goes another one:
"Are you crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!""
I'm sorry. Your last one was interesting. I just forgot to look here for a few days, and I'll answer that one too shortly. This one was said by Cera to Petrie when they were riding on that log in the ocean in The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island. The irony is that she was calling him crazy for the very same thing that knocked her off WHILE she was calling him that.
As for the last one, Ducky said it to Littlefoot in The Land Before Time VI: Secret of Saurus Rock. When he asked about her injury to her, then to her about Spike's, to avoid retelling the story, she simply said, "Same thing," indicating their wound was from the same source.
-
Which brings up my question...why is that like one of the only times the main cast is ever injured?
-
It probably isn't, they just never made a point of pointing out "injuries" (a big term for an insect sting). Remember in LBT 2 they ended up in the rubble of a landslide, in LBT 3 they also fell from a hight higher than any of the characters is tall and went through a burning forrest, in LBT 4 Littlefoot, Ali, and Ducky (after some strangling) were all knocked out unconscious... the list goes on. They never made much of a point of it, but I daresay that all this didn't go without bumps and bruises, but they wouldn't show much of it (least of all blood) in the movies.
-
Okay, I think i's time someone asked me one!
-
Ok. Try this one.
Told ya!
-
Guido to Topps? (After he fell in the mud?)
-
Nope. Try an earlier movie.
-
Nope, try an earlier movie
Since that was movie 12 out of 13...that still leaves a lot of possibilities...
If it's one of the gang it's probably Cera. I can remember her saying it. It's definitely when Anndi Mcafee was voicing her so that rules out 4 other films. Kay...can't think of where it would have been in 5...or 6...
I remember it, i do! It was to one of the gang, I think...any of them but Spike.
For some reason i want to say it was in 9...
Okay it's when someone proved their point. Let's see...Littlefoot proves his point that Doc is the lone dinosaur (not really but everyone belives him) but I know it's not that. Now for some reason i think it could be Petrie...who proved his point that Imaginary Friends aren't unnatrual in movie 9, but it's not that either. What else did Littlefoot prove? That Chomper isn't gonna hurt them, I guess...nope, not that. It must be Cera. I can't imagine Ducky saying that. Okay, it's obvisouly not something she was accused of otherwise it would probalby be "I TOLD YOU!!" Um...it's definitely Cera. I'm gonna say it's definitely her. What about, though? It was something minor and not big, some sort of accident like Topps falling in the mud, something kind of funny...EHHHH!! What was it?! I'm gonna say it was either in 7, 5 or 9.
-
Ducky said it. ;) She did warn someone of something, but he didn't listen. The movie came beofre 9.
-
Oh! I got it! Ducky said after Rinkus fell of the edge of that cliff.
Ducky: I wouldn't do that if I were you, no, no, no.
Rinkus: Leave you behind?
Ducky: No, stand on that edge.
*Rinkus falls down painfully*
Ducky: *shrugging* Told ya.
Did I get it? :)
-
Perfect! Your turn now.
-
Since no one is writing one, here's mine.
"Here I am!"
-
Not interesting?
"Ducky, Spike, get out of there!"
-
I think that's from the original movie in the scene with the longneck stampede towards the tiny wood of green trees. In case this is correct I pass on the right to ask the next question though because I don't have a regular internet access for the time being and don't want to delay the game.
-
Well since no one's asked one:
"For once I'd have to agree with you!"
-
No one?
Alright here's one:
"We sure do!"
-
Ending of LBT 9 when they are returning to the Great Valley. "We know the way from here" "We sure do!"
-
You got it! The ending of LBT 9 was so beautiful. Between that, the LBT 1 similarities, and it being the final use of James Horner's score, I think it should have been the end of the film series. Because it was obvious where it was going at that point. I have a topic on this, by the way!
Anyways, your turn.
-
"What are you doing here?"
-
Littlefoot to Petrie in 10 when he suddenly showed up, when the Sharpteeth were attacking him and Shorty.
Or to the gang in 4 (as I remember it's just him and Ali at first but later on the rest meet up w/ them ;) )
I'm gonna say it's the 1st one
Edit: I accidentally came upon the movie 4 quote I was thinking of and it was "What R U guys doing here?" so now I KNOW it's the one from 10! :)
-
Well, am I right?
-
No, it isn't.
In LBT 10 he is saying "What are you guys doing here."
While the quote I am looking for is really just: "What are you doing here."
-
LBT 1 original when Littlefoot Petrie and Ducky run into Cera in the woods?
-
Am I right?
-
Nope.
-
Littlefoot to Petrie in 10, like I originally suggested
-
No, the quote is neither from LBT 10 nor from the original movie nor spoken by Littlefoot or Petrie.
-
Cera to Mr. Thicknose when they find him while looking for Ducky in 8?
-
It is not from LBT 8 either.
-
The quote can be found in one of the earlier sequels.
-
If its from 3 or 4 I won't get it, I haven't seen those in forever. Oh, I did find a quote online from 4, but it's "what are u guys doing here?"
-
Alright, was it...Petrie to Chomper in 5, before he sadi , "Me not see you since you barely hatched!" Otherwise i give up.
-
"If there is one thing I won't tolerate, it's violence"
-
Pterano in 7 to Sierra and Rinkus when they were going to attack the kids. Here's one: "For once I'd have to agree with you!"
-
Oh, Come on! This one's easy!
-
By the way, the one I posted which nobody answered was Ali in LBT 4 after being woken up by Littlefoot.
-
Ok, someone try the one I posted.
-
Since it apparently isn't gonna be answered, try this one.
"Ow! Cer-ah!!"
-
No guesses?
"It's not his fault"
"Yes it is"
"No it isn't"
"Yes it is"
"No it isn't"
-
Alright, then try this again:
"For once I'd have to agree with you."
-
"You rucked you"
-
That's not an answer
-
no no no, you're supposed to answer the quote for the game
who said it?
-
^ Ummm... Aren't you supposed to answer before posting a question?
-
judging by the title, I'm supposed to put a quote from one of the movies and someone has to tyell me who said and what it's from
-
From the end of 7 where Rinkus gets mad at Pterano for finding a stone with no magic?
-
Here's one:
"Grow up, will ya?"
-
Seriously? No guesses?
OK here's one:
"The children!! Find the children!!"
-
Got this one. Grandma Longneck in VI when the tornado struck.
-
You got it! Just wish someone had tried to figure out the other one. <_<
Anyways your turn.
-
^ Ain't gonna bother. :)
"We must warn the others!"
-
Grandma Longneck, from the 2nd movie, after hearing Chomer's parents chasing the Gang.
-
sorry...
-
I thought you had to wait and see if you were right first. :/
-
^ Good job, except it was Grandpa, not Grandma. Still, your turn since I won't be around to wait for someone after this. ;)
-
Alright, since Voboy hasn't gone yet, I guess I will.
"Yeah!! Water!!"
-
The whole Gang when finding water in LBT 3.
-
Nope.
-
In 3 where Hyp sees the tar pit or something like that and thinks it's water?
-
Yup. Your turn :)
-
"She's a Threehorn."
Good luck! Sorry if it's too short. If I wrote more, it would be more obvious.
-
I'm gonna say it was...Littlefoot to Mo in 9, when introducing Mo to his friends. He says, "And this is Cera. She's a threehorn." He introduced her himself, since Cera wasn't too keen on meeting Mo.
Am I right? :smile
-
Maybe, but that's not the one I was thinking of. Sorry.
Hint: But you're correct that it is Littlefoot talking.
-
Littlefoot in 4 when introducing the others to Ali?
-
Not the one I was thinking about, but, as another hint, it is in IV, which I have watched recently.
-
Oh yeah, Littlefoot to Tickles if he's seen Cera.
-
Gee, people are always right on the third try. :)
!Nrut ruoy
-
"If one of us goes, we all go."
-
It rings a bell. Littlefoot to Cera, but when? I'm thinking 4,5 or 6.
-
It is one of those films. But I don't think it was just to Cera.
-
I know. LBT 5. Littlefoot said it to the others after the Big Water song. "It's not fair to ask one of us to try and cross it alone. If one of us goes, we all go."
-
You got it! ;) Your turn!
-
"Why the rush?"
Shouldn't be too difficult.
-
Movie 7, Littlefoot talkign to his granparents after Pterano comes in.
I think Grandma said it.
-
Correct! Your turn.
-
Vonboy is busy or forgot or both.
-
So is it ok if I go, then?
-
Ask Vonboy, not me. He'll be here soon.
-
I'll try to think of something. If I can't by tomorrow, just do it for me, Bruton.
-
Alright.
"Grow up, will ya?"
-
Any ideas?
-
Anyone even gonna try?
-
Sounds like Cera. But I don't recall it from a film before 7.
-
Sounds like something Cera said in movie 5.
Something like "Grow, up, will ya? He's a sharptooth!"
-
You got it! :exactly
Your turn.
-
Alright, since this thread has been dead for quite a while, I guess I'll go.
"Speaking of break..."
-
Character: Petrie
Movie: LBT 7
Scene: Right before the smoking mountain erupts.
-
where is this from?
"you want to look nice don t' you?"
-
Character: Grandma Longneck (to Littlefoot)
Movie: LBT 4
Scene: When Grandma is licking (err...cleaning) Littlefoot for the migrating herd of longnecks.
-
good your turn
-
Oh gee, let me think of one...
I know! It's the one quote that we all dread...
"Why not? Me talk to imaginary friend all the time."
-
its from the ninth movie Petrie said it when Littlefoot said I would nt' talk to an imaginary friend
-
where is this from?
"maybe it is tired and needs to rest"
-
Ducky's comment upon learning about the disappearance of the Thundering Falls in LBT 3?
-
Seeing as Rainbow has left, and I think that's the right answer, do you want to carry on, Malte? This game looks quite fun to me. :DD
-
Okay, here is the next one:
"Meep meep!"
(No, I didn't confuse LBT with Looney Tunes ;))
-
Petrie in the 5th movie, when he picked a pretty bad moment to do a prank on Cera, while she crossed the log over an abyss.
-
^^
Darn, that one completely blanked my mind. I haven't watched 5 in a while. :lol
-
^ You got it Hrvoje :yes
Your turn.
-
"That is so not fair!"
-
Hmm... Was it Ducky in the 8th film when Mr Thicknose was telling her off during the first teaching session we see?
-
Yes. Your turn now.
-
Okay, here's one that I can remember for now:
Can't we agree on anything?
This one has been stuck in my head all day. :lol
-
Littlefoot's grandma commenting on the dispute otherwise mostly conducted between Cera's dad and Littlefoot's grandpa about the water in LBT 3?
-
^
Yep, yep, yep! Your turn. :DD
-
"We've got something we need to do!"
-
I believe that is Cera in the 6th movie when she realises that Littlefoot has gone to Saurus Rock to fix the bad luck. She tells the twins to wait with Grandpa Threehorn and then says that line. :)
-
That's right, your turn :yes
-
Okay, here's the next one:
"We slipping!"
-
If I'm not mistaken Petrie said that, but I don't know from which film it's from :S Maybe the 2nd where the Gang tries to rescue Cera or maybe the original, where they try to rescue Petrie? I have no clue :D
-
It is Petrie that says it, but I'm afraid it's not from either of the movies you mentioned.
-
Petrie says it while he, Cera and Spike are pulling the vines tied to the log carrying Littlefoot and Ducky, and the log-carrying river's huge force pulls them all towards the water in 7.
-
That's indeed the answer! Your go! :DD
-
"What would anybody have to scream about on a beautiful day like today?"
-
I think that's Topsy in the 11th film when he is escorting Tria to the treesweets tree. She questions him about hearing someone scream and that was his answer. :D
-
You bet! Now continue.
-
All right-y!
"Is there any way I could be of help?"
-
Littlefoot in LBT 9?
-
Would it be the mother longneck in LBT IX where she asks the gang what she could do to assist the gang after Ducky falls into the Longneck's nest?
-
Whoa, I haven't been here for a while.
Yep, your are correct, LF Fan 93. Your turn. :yes
-
OK. Here I go:
"Or maybe you should stop eating Treestars before sleeping time!"
-
I'm completely clueless :o so I have to guess... I say LBT 8, can't give a scene...
-
where is this from'
"I hate being little"
-
That's not it Ducky123 and RainbowGirl 39 that quote is from LBT II.
-
Hmm... it must be LBT 13 or I missed that quote while watching LBT 1 - 12... probably after LF tells his friends about his sleepstories
EDIT: Petrie says that
-
I don't know if I'm butting in, but...
'Call it a mean-streak...'
-
Hmm... it must be LBT 13 or I missed that quote while watching LBT 1 - 12... probably after LF tells his friends about his sleepstories
EDIT: Petrie says that
Correct Ducky123! Now your turn! :DD
-
Alright, next one: "But to them it's a scary story!"
'Call it a mean-streak...'
Ichy in LBT 4
-
bump! Anyone?
-
"OW! Cer-aa!!"
(Sorry if I already did this one)
-
The Land Before Time 5: The Mysterious Island during the locusts' destruction of the valley; Littlefoot to Cera while they were stuck in a log.
I'm pretty sure that's it.
Ducky123, I'm not sure about yours. It doesn't sound familiar.
-
I figured it'd be too difficult... :oops
It's Topsy in 'The Amazing Threehorngirl'
Anyone may continue :)
-
"Me think you mainly hurt her bragbone"
-
Ah :) Good one! Petrie in LBT 10 after Cera went home after she crashed into that rock. :D
This line is completely different in German though :rolleyes
"Poor Petrie!"
-
I believe that's Ducky's line from the first movie, after Petrie is dragged into the depths by Sharptooth :o
"You're not from around here, are you?"
-
That would be Topsy from the seventh movie, responding to the Rainbow Faces.
"Well, it was mostly the same lecture."
-
That would be Cera in LBT 2 when the Gang complained about their parent's lectures.
"I wouldn't go there if I were you."
-
That would be Guido in LBT 12. It's just before Topsy falls into the mud pool Guido warned Topsy of. Ah, those memories :lol
Threehorns can be veeeeeery dangerous.
-
I believe Cera says that to Littlefoot in the first movie, when he suggests that they travel together :smile
"Why are you washing my face? It's only going to get dirty again!"
-
Littlefoot to Grandma in LBT4 when Grandma is licking his face.
"Littlefoot, you're too young to worry about babies."
-
That is from the Land Before Time II where Grandma Longneck is addressing Littlefoot's question about wanting to know about babies.
"If they scream any louder they are going to give us away!"
-
Ozzy in movie II, as he and Strut are trying to find a place to eat an egg, however, the gang's screams cause the two to be given away by a flyer.
"Oh no! Here come the 'squished' part!"
-
That's a line Petrie is saying in LBT 9 when Mo is about to jump over that boulder :yes
EDIT: I was actually waiting for confirmation (although I doublechecked I picked the right movie this time...) so sorry for the hiatus
Try this one :p
"Maybe they might argue less if they ate more..."
-
Spike in "Through the Eyes of a Spiketail".
-
Yep, I guess me reviewing this very episode yesterday was making it obvious :rolleyes :D
Your turn :)
-
^I just checked and yup, the review is there. If you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have noticed it at all. :bang
"What's so funny?"
-
Petrie in movie 9 as the gang is searching for Littlefoot, who is heard laughing.
-
Yes, your turn.
-
"You drink greedily with no concern for others!"
-
Mr. Threehorn in LBT3, accusing another herd (I think it was clubtails) of using water "unwisely".
-
You're halfway right. It is movie 3 in which the quote was said, but you're not quite there on who said it (though you're pretty close).
-
^I think he's right. You might wanna check again.
-
Thought I didn't have time to double-check (busy as my life is), but upon doing so, The Chronicler is indeed 100% correct. I thought it was the other way around as to who said it. Anyways, your turn, Chronicler.
-
"Me get very dizzy!"
-
Obviously a Petrie quote. More of a guess than anything else, but is it from the episode "Escape from the Mysterious Beyond"?
-
It is a Petrie quote, but it's not from that particular episode. Try again.
-
Oh wait, I remember now! It was from..."The Star Day Celebration" was it not?
-
Close enough. I was hoping you would specify the scene (he helped Littlefoot secure a vine to a branch by flying around it multiple times), but I don't have time to wait again today. Your turn.
-
"Don't--ever--do that--again!"
-
Cera adressing Spike in LBT 7 after Spike had eaten the vine :smile
EDIT: Holy cow! 2000th post :lol
-
Hooray for 2000 posts! To make it even better, you're correct! Your turn.
-
Cheers :celebrate
Alright, I wanna see your brains in action :p
"We have trouble with that one..."
-
No brains needed! The quote is from LBT 13, said by Littlefoot when Grandma Longneck tells the kids "the most important wisdom of all": "Stay inside the Great Valley."
-
Almost right... it wasn't Littlefoot who said that. Try again :)
-
Alright. I will go with my other guess as to who said it. It was Ducky.
-
Yep, I remember that quote being a lot funnier in the German movie
Anyway, go ahead :yes
-
"Look here, nobody else saw this thing. How do you explain that?"
-
The Spiketail in LBT 7 adressing Littlefoot?
-
Correct, although I thought it would be more difficult. Your turn.
-
"Well, even though we are very brave, we would like a safe place to spend the night?"
^Shouldn't be too hard :)
-
Thankfully, it isn't. That would be Ducky from LBT IX, addressing the mama longneck the gang encountered.
-
:yes
Your turn :)
-
"I've saved you countless times. Does that make me 'The Lone Threehorn?'"
-
That's easy :p Cera in LBT VI after Littlefoot claims that Doc has safed him :)
Lol, were doing this among us two :lol
-
We sure are! Your turn!
-
"Are you just gonna stay up there?"
-
That would be Littlefoot from the original film. He says this to Petrie who is perched on Littlefoot's head and is ruffling Littlefoot's tree star.
-
Perfect score! Your turn :yes
-
"Do not make the sleep rumbles. I am so tired"
-
This is a quote of Ducky from LBT 8. Spike prevents Ducky from getting some night sleep, inter alia by snoring :)
-
Correct! :yes I guess that I should have figured that two quotes from Ducky would be easily solved by.. Well.. Ducky. :) It is now your turn.
-
Yep, yep, yep, that was very obvious, it was, it was ;)
Try this one: "I'm sick of it, sick of it, sick of it!"
-
Sierra, movie 7, as he is fed up with Ducky and her...acts of cuteness, shall I say.
-
This quote is indeed from LBT 7 but neither was it Sierra saying this nor was Ducky the character spoken to. Try again :)
-
From LBT 7, spoken by the female rainbow face to the male rainbow face after the male rainbow face had provided the gang with food and been chased through the caves of the volcano.
-
That's the one! :) Your turn.
-
Sorry for forgetting about this. Thank you, rhombus, for the reminder.
"Well maybe not."
-
Cera in LBT 12 when Guido makes this scary pose?
-
The character is right, but the movie is wrong.
-
Cera in LBT VIII? She is saying that they'll soon have forgotten how Spike looks like but then she says "Well, maybe not..."
-
Correct! Your turn.
-
"Littlefoot, why don't you lead the way?"
-
Is it Grandma Longneck in LBT 3? If memory serves me correctly, she asks Littlefoot to lead the way when the smoke becomes too great for the adults to see.
-
That is a very good guess but not the scene I have in mind. In LBT 3 this is more of an order (Grandma: I can't see anything. You must lead us, Littlefoot!) while in the scene I'm looking for it's a question :)
-
Take this hint (since nobody seems to know the correct answer): The quote is spoken by Grandpa Longneck :)
-
It's from LBT 10, when the longneck herd can't see through the thick forest so grandpa asks Littlefoot to climb into the tree tops, where he sees the destination of their famous migration.
-
I'm sorry but this isn't the correct quote either :( I admit this is a quote nobody would immediately think about because it is not important for the plot of the movie I'm looking for...
-
I think that I've got it. Is it from the fourth film after Grandpa Longneck falters for the first time? He is telling Littlefoot to lead the way to where Ali's herd has arrived.
-
This is the correct answer. Your turn! :yes
-
"That just it! Me good alone... not so good with family..."
-
Petrie in LBT 12, while he is chatting with Guido about his previous mishaps.
-
Very close. You got the film and the speaker right, but not the recipient of the message.
-
I know he's with the Gang when he says it... I believe that Ducky tries to encourage him by mentioning that he is a good Flyer and then Petrie says the quote
-
^ Correct. :yes Ducky encourages Petrie and then Littlefoot clarifies her statement. Then Petrie says this quote.
It is now your turn. :)
-
This one shouldn't be too hard :p Don't want the game to get stuck for months again...
"Uuuhh! The more I think about it, the madder I get!"
-
Cera says that in the fourth film, in the the scene occurring right after she, Ducky, Petrie, and Spike agreed to not go looking for Littlefoot (while they have their digits crossed).
-
Yep, yep, yep :)
It's your turn now!
-
"Spike, pay attention. You are supposed to be sad like the rest of us. "
-
Ducky to Spike just after he climbed the rock to see the island in LBT 5.
-
Correct! :yes It is now your turn.
-
"Whatever it is, it bites!"
-
Ducky in LBT 11, during the scene where Littlefoot distracts the gang to avoid seeing a tiny longneck who is out in the open.
-
Aha. :yes
Your turn to wreck brains now.
-
(Probably not a hard one at all here...)
"If it is so hard for you to decide, I will do it for you! Go, go, go!"
-
^especially not for me, oh no, no, no!
This is Ducky speaking in LBT 8 when Spike can't decide whether to travel with the Spiketails or stay behind with his famiily. :)
-
I knew it wouldn't be. :p
Yyyyour turrrrrn. :D
-
Try this one (medium-difficulty I guess)
"Are they doing it on purpose?"
-
Ducky when witnessing Petrie's failure at the first flying rehearsal in LBT 12.
-
Correct! Your turn! :yes
-
"Grandpa Longneck! Grandpa Longneck!"
-
This has to be the Gang in LBT 6 after Littlefoot had run off in order to fix Saurus Rock on his own but the Gang are worried and tell Grandpa, calling him like that.
-
Continue. :smile
-
"That because it moving by itself!"
-
Petrie in LBT 12, while the gang tries to push a log in an attempt to save Guido.
-
Yup ^^ Your turn.
-
"Of course, I'll be the tallest one there, story of my life. Just once...I'd like to find someone I can look up to...if you know what I mean."
-
SUE! :lol In LBT 10 during their migration, Sue says this towards Littlefoot who just dozes off :smile
-
Yep yep yep! :p
-
"This is ridiculous!"
-
Hint: It's spoken by a girl and it's from a sequel made after 2000.
-
Since nobody seems to know the quote I gave you, I'll give you another one which is a little easier :) You may still guess the old quote which is "This is ridiculous!"
The new quote is:
"Oh I geddit. You think if I'm living with your family maybe the two of us can not fit in together?"
-
That's easy---Guido to Petrie in 12 when Petrie suggests he come live with them.
Um...ok, what's a good one?
"Don't look, dear!"
-
Ms. Swimmer in 5 when they encounter the swimmer skeleton?
-
Yep. Your turn.
-
"Yeah, he slid backwards right into my nose!"
-
A parasaurolophus ( I think) made that comment in LBT 8 when the adults discuss about the sudden freeze in the valley. He is referring to Topsy who complains about the ground being slippery before.
-
Correct.
-
Sorry for the long wait... I kind of forgot to put up a riddle here :angel Hope it's not too hard to solve...
"This is ridiculous!"
-
I'm pretty such it's Cera, but I'm not sure which movie it's from...
-
I'll just say that's enough to keep the game going :p It's Cera in LBT 13 (and to be completely honest I don't remember the scene this is spoken as I've collected some quotes for this game many months ago... :p)
Your turn :)
-
"Now hurry up, or they'll find us before we find food!"
(BTW, 1000th post! :celebrate :celebrate )
-
Congratulations for your 1000th post :)
Is the quote from LBT 5? After the gang left the herd with Littlefoot speaking refering to their parents / granparents?
-
Indeed. :yes Your turn.
-
Sorry for the delay, I had totally forgotten about the game :oops
Here is the next quote:
"Yes, let's."
-
This is Petrie's Mother as a response to Pterano who says something along the lines of "let's behave, kids" in LBT 7.
-
Indeed, your turn :yes
-
"Okay, maybe I spoke too soon."
-
Since nobody seems to know the quote I gave you, I'll give you another one which is a little easier :) You may still guess the old quote which is "This is ridiculous!"
The new quote is:
"Oh I geddit. You think if I'm living with your family maybe the two of us can not fit in together?"
Tria.
(Oops, was reading the wrong stuff. It was Guido. However, I saw the word "girl" and the quote and thought "Tria".)
-
^The (correct) answer to that quote has already been given by somebody else. You now have to give an answer to the one that Ducky123 just put up.
-
^The (correct) answer to that quote has already been given by somebody else. You now have to give an answer to the one that Ducky123 just put up.
Yep, but no harm's done :)
-
"Okay, maybe I spoke too soon."
Uhh... bump? :lol
-
That is by Cera from LBT 13 just after she says that all the Yellowbellies have to do is walk to the funny looking rock, surely they could do that. Yellowbellies slump to the ground complaining about being thirsty that's when Cera says it.
-
(I didn't see your response until now, my apologies :sducky )
That is correct, your turn :p
-
Guess who said this:
"How come we can't find it?"
-
This line was said by Littlefoot in Journey of the Brave when they are trying to find the moving water that leads to the Fire Mountain.
-
I suppose the Lone Dragon forgot about this, I believe you are right there too :)
To get this game rolling again... let me ask an easy one :p(even if it's not my turn...)
"Now that we on dry land, can we please find place to sleep?"
-
This line was said by Petrie in The Great Longneck Migration after he, Cera, Ducky and Spike, while on their journey to find Littlefoot, had an encounter with a bellydragger when crossing a swamp and they got back to dry land.
-
Indeed, your turn :)
-
"Uh-oh Spike. The stinky pools have made you stinky."
-
I'd love to keep playing this game but I don't know the quote. It's from some tv-series episode but I don't remember those too well.
-
"Uh-oh Spike. The stinky pools have made you stinky."
Isn't it from LBT14 when gang found missing Spike in stinkweed pool?
-
Nope, that's incorrect.
-
than it's from Meadow of jumping water, when Spike falled to pool near geysers?
-
Yep, you got it.
-
I pass my turn
-
To get this game rolling, maybe we shouldn't pick quotes which are too hard :)
So... I'll take the turn and start with something easy :p
"Maybe we'll all live together some day?"
-
Ali, here end line from LBT4?
-
Yep, you got it :)
-
I pass my turn
-
It's hard to keep games running if you constantly pass your turn, just saying ;)
"Back to where we started..."
-
It's hard to keep games running if you constantly pass your turn, just saying
I know, since we are only who posts in different games except Countdown, Hangman and LBT hangman. гг
Why I skip my turns - I don't like to be game lead. I want to be game player. ;)
And as you could see, I made around six bumps recently AGAIN, but nobody except you joined (and only in two thread)
I wonder why people finished to play here. There's so much forum games...
I just give up. I am not going to make any more bumps in different forum games threads.
-------------
ontop:
...
I don't know.
-
hint: LBT 5 ;)
I understand but I want to be the guesser too every now and then :)
-
I understand but I want to be the guesser too every now and then :)
I understand. sorry.
Well, if nobody else plays, I will make next guess.
Also:
I dislike any hints or clues. I think it ruins the game. :(
Can you please write in next time in black color, since there's no spoiler tags.
Like this:
spoiler
please? thx
-------------------
Was it spoken by Cera when their wood log escape plan failed and gang found out they went back to island?
-
Very close, it was Littlefoot who said this but you got the scene right :)
Sure, I was trying to do you a favor to keep the gaming from dieing again but I won't give any hints unless I'm asked to do so from now on, okay? :)
I'll wait a day or two to see if anybody else wants to take a turn (unless you changed your mind, that is :p)
-
I see you want to play. So I will take my turn. :)
------------------
- "I hate to say it, but I'm hungry."
-
That line seems somewhat familiar even if I can't quite identify the scene it was used in. I'm rather sure it was said by Cera, possibly sometime during the fifth film.
-
no.
-
I THINK it's the tv episode Canyon of the Shiny Stones.
I remember Chomper saying something like that, when they were all trapped on a cliff over some lava. Ducky started holding her tail, and saying something like "I wish you would not look at me when you say that, no no no."
is that close enough, assuming I'm thinking of the correct scene?
-
Yes, you are right!
I was laughing (and still laughing) at that scene with Chomper very loud. :D
-
I hope this one isn't too hard to figure out. :p
------------------------
"He doesn't believe we're friends."
-
Chomper said that line to Ducky in the Escape from the Mysterious Beyond episode.
-
yup. Will have to think of something more obscure next time :p
Your turn.
-
"Watch it, kid!"
-
How I missed that?
Idk, but let me guess.
Was it said by dinosaur mama in LBT2 when children played near her nest and dropped stones?
-
Nope, that's incorrect.
-
My best guess would be Hyp from LBT 3, as it seems like the kind of thing he'd say. If it is him, don't know which scene it would have been from anyway, and I kinda don't like just looking back through movies for this. :p
I"m really kinda stumped at the moment.
-
Uh-uh, keep on trying, you'll get it eventually.
-
I have no idea. It can be Topps, it can be Thicknose, or somebody else...
since I don't use any hints, I will wait for next round. :p
-
Hmm. 1st thing that popped in my head was "Me sorry."
Was this Topps in The Big Freeze after being hit by a snowball that Petrie threw?
-
Could be, yeah...
Could also be something Doc might have said though after saving Littlefoot :p
-
Justin1993 got the answer; it's his turn.
-
"We're tired and this way's hard."
-
Cera in LBT 3 when the Gang are running from the bullies
-
Yep yep yep
Your turn.
-
"Don't even think about it"
-
"Don't even think about it"
Topps to Guido, when he came to him during his searching for life purpose?
-
Nice try, same words but that's not who the quote is from, you on the right track though.
-
LBT 10, when Ducky and the others are playing Catch but Cera's eating at the time so not playing.
-
oops; didn't realize it was already guessed.
:slap :slap :slap :slap :slap
-
Your correct Ducky, your turn.
-
"Me remember them."
-
Is this Petrie's reaction when Chomper tells the Gang about his parents in the fifth movie?
-
Indeed. Your turn :)
-
"Alright, time for us all to get back to work."
-
Littlefoot says this line in The Bright Circle Celebration episode.
-
That's correct but could you please specify a little further?
-
The line was said after Petrie's line "Me think Bright Circle very proud," while he was hugging Spike.
-
Indeed. :yes It's your turn now.
-
"Mornin' kids, nice day for a treestar,"
-
Was it said by mr. Clubtail in LBT5 when he ate last treestar?
-
Yes it was.
-
I pass my turn this time.
-
"Put those away,"
-
umm...
I have no idea...
гг
-
nobody plays...
let me guess...
Maybe Ozzie tells this when Strut tries to eat green food?
-
Ah. This is in LBT 3, when Mutt and Nod stick out their tongues at the gang and Hyp tells them to "Put those away."
-
Yep, you got it.
-
"Right here. See?"
-
This quote is from LBT6; Cera says this line after Dinah and Dana fall from a tree they climbed and hitting Topsy's snout before falling into a pile of treestars and giggling.
-
Over easy
Your turn
-
"We came for sweet bubbles, and we're leaving with sweet bubbles, got it?"
-
Cera said that to Kosh when he wasn't willing to give the sweet bubbles for the Gang in the Star Day Celebration.
-
Yep, you got it.
-
"I am sure they will come back some day."
-
This quote is from LBT8; Ducky says this line to reassure Spike that they'll see the wandering spiketail herd again some day.
-
That's correct. :)
-
"That's enough! You've had your share for today,"
-
Topps drives out dinosaur who wanted to get extra water portion in LBT3?
-
Nice try; but, that's incorrect.
-
Ohh... isn't this right before the Gang tell their folks about the fire in LBT 3? With Grandma making that comment about Mr Threehorn being too bossy for her liking?
-
Yep, you got it.
-
"Then again there are others I shan't miss at all!"
-
Pterano says this while flying out of the Great Valley after Topsy chases him out while growling.
-
Yep, yep, yep ^^spike
-
"If you don't know what you're talking about, then you shouldn't talk at all,"
-
Topps quite insults Tria in LBT11 after she tried to defend tinysaurs.
-
Yep, you got it.
-
sigh... Topps, Topps...
well, I pass my turn this time
-
"Kids, do you know how the sharpteeth got in?"
-
I have two versions...
hmmm
but as I remember, it was said by Grandpa longneck in LBT2 after leafeaters dealed with Chomper's parents.
-
Nice try; but, that's incorrect; you got the right scene; but, not the right character.
-
damn
well, I will let other people make a right guess
-
It was Grandma Longneck who said this.
-
Yep.
-
I'll take a turn.
"Do you smell something, Spike?"
-
LBT5 maybe? At the coast of sea, before gang discovers island?
-
Oh, I guess that quote was said more than once in the series then
It's not the one I had in mind though but great guess ^^spike
-
but is it correct?
-
Tippy's mother says this line in LBT8 when the spiketail herd is lost in a snow storm; in the scene, she at first thought that Spike was crying like Tippy was; but, he caught a whiff of green food.
-
but is it correct?
I guess so :p If you want to take a turn, go ahead. Littlefoot Fan got the scene I was thinking of in case you skip :)
-
I skip then
-
"Hey, longneck! Here it comes!"
-
This was said by Topps in the Big Freeze when he was about to push the snowball on Grandpa.
-
Yes
-
"I can't do this by myself."
-
Ali says this in Journey Through the Mists when trying to clear the rock slide that blocked Littlefoot inside the cave; this is the scene before Ali goes out to get the gang to come help her rescue Littlefoot.
-
Indeed. :yes
-
"Now, now, there's no need to frighten the young ones,"
-
I guess it was said in LBT3, when Topps noticed Littlefoot's and Hyp's gang were "played" in water.
-
No, that's not the scene I was thinking of.
-
Hmm, I'm not 100% sure (more like 70%) but... is this from LBT 9 when Littlefoot requests in front of the adults to rescue Mo?
-
Nope
-
Maybe it was said by Grandpa after Topps knowed about Pterano's return and got mad, screaming?
-
Incorrect.
-
Damn, this one is hard :lol
I can't rule down any particular scene but could it be that the quote was spoken by Pterano? It's just a feeling in the guts though... :p
-
Nope.
-
I really don't know the answer :( Care to give us a hint?
-
All right; the line comes after Topsy's line, "Don't you kids realize this is the Time of the Changing Treestars? We can't waste those that haven't fallen yet, they must be eaten before they dry up; do you want us to run out of food entirely?"
-
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh... THAT scene :idea
Then it is from LBT 6! The Gang and the twins are shaking leave sfrom the trees in what appears to be a game but then Mr. Threehorn shows up, voicing his disapproval but then Grandpa Longneck enters the scene with these lines.
Damn, that was a tough one. Nice job :smile
-
You got it, and thanks! You can take the next turn if you want.
-
"Of course we will."
-
:sducky
-
I'm trying to think hard for this one...
-
I've tried to come up with an answer but this one's really difficult! Could we get a hint?
-
*detects my forbidden word*
no hints!!!!!!!! D:<
Let me guess...
Was it told by... hmm...
maybe it was spoken by Cera in LBT11 in scene when she promised to not tell anyone about they found Tinysaurs' lair?
-
Sorry, I was staying away from the games recently because... huuuge distraction :p
HINT: LBT 5 ;)
-
:anger
*runs after one small duckbill with giant scissors above head*
Can you please post hints I don't know in black color, please? :/
thank you
Offtop: And lol, only now I noticed there's back text description under tags panel! XD Black on almost black background.
Ontop:
I don't know...
Maybe it's said by Grandpa or Grandma longneck about not losing hope they will find lost children?
-
You may give the credit to Snik but it was said by Grandma after Grandpa said "I'm afraid we'll never see Littlefoot again" just before Always There. Damn that took long! :DD
-
@Snik I just didn't want the game to be on a hiatus for any longer, sorry :(
And yes, that is the right scene, Sovereign! :lol
I don't care who of you continues, if Snik has any idea, I think he can go ahead (since he usually skips his turn anyway :p )
-
Well, if Sovereign do not want to be next, I will take it.
-
I wouldn't have been able to guess it alone so you may take this one if you wish. :)
-
Yes, please :)
-
Very well. That's should be easy:
"Cera! Don't make him mad!"
-
After the seventh time looking at this, I finally got it!
This is Littlefoot reprimanding Cera in LBT 5 after she called out Chomper for looking at Littlefoot's leg hungrily. Chomper then ran off crying, Littlefoot going after him.
-
After the seventh time looking at this, I finally got it!
This is Littlefoot reprimanding Cera in LBT 5 after she called out Chomper for looking at Littlefoot's leg hungrily. Chomper then ran off crying, Littlefoot going after him.
well, I'm not completely sure, but he didn't said "make him mad".
He told about why she said that and he don't believe Chomper can hurt them but them did hurt him, etc...
Anyway, I didn't mean this scene. :D
C'mon, guys. Let's remember more scenes where our favorite threehorn hurt someone's feelings or made someone angry. :neutral
-
If it's from the tv-series or LBT 14, I won't be able to guess it. Just haven't seen these enough.
-
It's from the TV series episode March of the Sand Creepers. Littlefoot and the gang wander into the Mysterious Beyond to convince Scuttle, the only sand creeper who also speaks leaf eater to come to the Great Valley to convince the other sand creepers to come back home after the smoking mountain blew up. In this particular scene, Scuttle starts to tell a story about smoking mountains, Cera comments that not only Scuttle talks, he talks too much; then, Littlefoot warns her not to make Scuttle mad.
-
Yap yay yap! Smiley softshell tells you won!
-
"I don't understand, Grandpa. Why does Cera's dad think I'm bad?
-
Scene in LBT 3 after Topps says that Cera won't be playing with Littlefoot anymore for being a "bad influence"?
-
Yep
-
"Me think you a stinker!"
-
In LBT5, Petrie says that line to tease the plated sharptooth after Ducky replied with "The log is gone, you cannot get across," That's when the plated sharptooth makes a big leap to the other side of the chasm and grips the edge and pulls himself up to get closer to the gang.
-
Yeah, that's it.
But he actually jumps across and lands past them; he doesn't pull himself up. Regardless, you're right.
-
"Strange, I...I suddenly felt so tired,"
-
BT4, Grandmpa in the same waterfall?
-
Yep
-
"Me wish Littlefoot here"
-
Big Longneck Test when Petrie disapproved Shorty's leadership and wished Littlefoot were there instead of his brother.
-
Yes!
-
"You can do it, just no look down!"
-
Hmm... I'm not sure, but was it spoken to Cera by Petrie in LBT5, when she crossed the log above abyss?
-
That's not quite it.
-
LBT 6 then? Same scene (crossing log)
-
In fact, this is not the log scene.
-
well, maybe then from LBT9, during Petrie's solo travel?
-
Nope, sorry. :p Ducky was pretty close.
-
In LBT6, Spike was scared to jump across the pillars in the big ditch when the gang was running after the twins after they ran away to Saurus Rock; Petrie says this line to Spike to try and motivate him to jump on the pillars to get to the other side of the big ditch.
-
You got it! :yes
-
"Don't ever call my dad that again! Got it?"
-
LBT11, Cera to Ducky? (on next day/scenes after Creepy crawlers song)
-
Yep
-
I pass this time.
-
"Well, that too will go in time little fella; only in time,"
-
A really difficult one. :lol Might that be Rooter's parting words to Littlefoot in his only scene? :idea
-
Yep.
-
wait, he did say "fella"? I forgot that, and it confused me, though it was talking me "It's Rooter! It's Rooter! What doubts?". XD
-
"But maybe that's not the problem."
-
I have a feeling this is from LBT 3 spoken by Ducky but I really don't know
-
Sorry, that's not it.
-
Can we have a hint (colour=black for Snik :p)?
I really don't have a clue :sducky
-
Hmm... for now, let's say that there's a bit of stuttering before the actual quote but I decided not to include it in the original post. Hope that helps! :p
-
^^
thank you
</offtop>
-
Bump
-
Uh...I have no clue. This is probably so easy but I can't think of the answer.
-
I know it's Guido but I don't know the scene... and I dun't wanna cheat by watching the movie to find out :p
-
Yep, it is Guido's line but we'll see who gets the scene right. :p
-
maybe it's the scene in LBT12 when Petrie takes Guido to meet his family; his siblings berate him once again about not being able to fly in formation for the Great Day of the Flyers. Guido says this line to Petrie's siblings about their heads looking like their rear ends so it's impossible for Petrie to know which direction to fly in, and that's when they laugh it off.
-
I'm sorry but that's not correct.
-
Hmm... is it that scene where Guido approaches a depressed Petrie, telling him that he should just be himself when flying with his siblings?
-
Well, there were a few such scenes as far as I remember. Could you please specify a little?
-
uhh, I think it comes after the sky puffy incident...
-
Sorry but no. :(
-
Anyone else?
-
bump?
-
:(
Not good in last movies. Can't help, sorry.
-
let's just make a new word or this will never take off again. I got no clue either.
-
Very well. This line was used by Guido near the end of the 12th film when he comforted Petrie when he voiced his fears about the Day of the Flyers after their escape from the spinosaurus. This particular quote was used when Guido questioned whether Petrie's inability to fly like the others was a problem. You may take the next turn if you wish, Ducky.
-
Wait, it was my turn all along? Fuck :o You could have notified me...
Anyway, let's get this one back on track shall we? What better way than to pick one of my favourite quotes :D
"I did not know that spiketails could walk so fast, no no no." :sducky
-
Ducky in LBT8, when she went to find Spike and herd of spiketails?
-
Yup yup yup, your turn :)
-
well, it was simple, not on memory but on logic.
I pass my turn.
-
yeah, most of my favourite quotes are easy pickings because... yep yep yep, nope nope nope... :P
Hmm, I guess I'll do another one then. Really need to take notes of difficult ones when I watch the movies again :P
"Some dinosaurs could swim... others couldn't. "
-
anyone?
-
Narrator in LBT 8 explaining unique survival abilities to evade sharpteeth?
-
Yup, it's in the LBT 8 intro indeed. Your turn :)
-
lol, I thought it was spoken by Ducky somewhere! The same manner of speech! XD
"Don't be sad, Petrie. Many things don't fly. Rocks, trees, sticks...Spike..."
-
I know it's from the original movie, and I'm pretty sure Ducky said it to Petrie in reference to his fear of flying.
-
lol wait wait! I didn't make new quote, I commented previous quote! XD
Littlefoot, it's your turn now, as Ducky said!
-
"Let me go! Or you will be sorry!"
-
So I guess my turn got skipped?
Littlefoot when Ozzy was hanging him over the great wall.
-
Sorry. Yes, it's your turn, and you are correct. I got a little confused by Sneak.
-
XD XD XD
EPIC LOL
I confused Littlefot with Flathead!!!
Cera: They're the same... what matter?
Am I so LBT addict?
Sorry, guys. It's funny though my accident speeches hypnotize people. :D
-
Well I was able to reclaim my turn so it's all good.
"Same way we do just about anything. You just...feel it"
-
Could this be a yellowbelly quote? :sducky Probably the male one (I keep confusing their names :P) in LBT 13 when explaining to Littlefoot how their wisdoms work (?)
-
Yep, yep (I know the names are Loofah and Doofah, but I don't care enough to remember who is who), and not quite. I think that may be a bit too general of a statement as that's brought up a few times in the movie? (I'm not even sure myself :lol )
-
Don't make me watch that movie again... just look at the forum!!! :sducky
-
Well I won't hold it against you. Making someone watch 13 is a form of punishment all on its own :lol If you want you can go ahead and take the next turn. :DD
-
Oh alright then, I shall! :DD
"Do you smell something Spike?"
-
LBT5? When Spike found island at the coast?
-
I'm going to say LBT 8 when the spiketails are lost and Tippys mom is trying to apologize to Spike.
-
Flathead is correct :)
-
Neat. Ok, no LBT 13 quote this time to torment over :p
"Let's see if this will work, I think this plan can work"
-
Littlefoot during the “Hot and Stinky” song from Journey of the Brave.
-
Bingo! Your turn!
-
I’ll probably nail anything from a song, since I’m the one hipster LBT fan who doesn’t wash his ears out with Clorox bleach whenever he hears an LBT song. :p
“Life is not a game, my friend, for losing or for winning”
-
"And when you think you've reached the end. It's only the beginning."
Male rainbow face during the Beyond the Mysterious Beyond reprise at the end of 7.
-
Yes. Your turn
-
I'm no slouch when it comes to the songs either. I spent months practicing the songs on my drive to work so I could embarrass myself in front of my friends. I enjoy most of the songs in the movies.
"What is everyone standing around for!?"
-
Hmm, seems like I'm not the only one without a clue :/
-
Hmm I guess I should give a bit of a hint then? It's from a Roy Allen Smith sequel.
-
Maybe I should narrow it down more? It's from LBT 4.
Or should I just call it?
-
Hmm, even after 4 months I still don't know so maybe reveal? @Flathead770
-
Oh yeah haha. Looks back to see what it was.
Ah yes, it is right when Cera comes to help clear the cave-in that separated Littlefoot and Ali.
So uhh am I supposed to go again? (though honestly I can't think of anything off the top of my head at the moment so if someone else wants to jump in then by all means go right ahead)
-
Well, if you don't want to go, then give your turn to somebody else, except me of course. :D
I wold like to see someone sets a new quote to play here.
-
I can never think of any hard ones but I think it is best not to pick too hard ones for a while to get the game going again :^^spike
"You need to teach him some respect!"
-
maybe, Thicknose to Grandpa in LBT8, while Littlefoot is spying?
-
yep yep yep! :)
-
@Sneak :wave
-
I think I pass my turn
-
Well, me too.
-
I'll take a turn then.
"I hate being little!!"
-
Littlefoot in LBT2? After being saved from terrific drowning death and talk with his grands?
-
@Littlefoot505 :boohoo
Anyway I think that's correct.
-
Darn I'm sorry. Yes you are correct, @Sneak
-
I pass my turn.
-
"He's not as young as anybody used to be"
-
"He's not as young as anybody used to be"
Im not 100% sure, but I think that’s Cera (or maybe Littlefoot) responding to something that Mr. Thicknose says in VIII (The Big Freeze)
I could be totally wrong about that :lol
-
@UnionRags123
Sorry I only saw this now since I was ignoring the games sub-forum for a longer period of time. :angel
Yes, that is Cera in LBT 8 indeed. Maybe we can try to revive this game again. It's been semi-dead for as long as I can remember :lol
-
Sure, looks like fine.
@ImpracticalDino: Are you interested?
-
Umm, I’ll give it a shot.
His heart is brave and pure.
-
Umm, I’ll give it a shot.
His heart is brave and pure.
Which time? :lol
I think that line is sung three times
Ducky sings that twice - once in VI and once in the TV series episode 16 (both times are during the Lone Dinosaur song). In VI I guess she's sing to/with the Gang (of 5) and Dinah & Dana. In the TV series she's singing with the rest of the Gang of Five (well, minus Littlefoot) to Chomper (and Ruby) after Chomper asks, "So, Doc's big enough that I'd see him coming, right?"
Littlefoot sings it once - in VI (Lone Dinosaur song) while trying to convince the rest of the Gang of Five and Dinah and Dana that Doc is the Lone Dinosaur
-
^Wow, that basically covered all the times it was said. Good job! Do you want to go next?
-
^Wow, that basically covered all the times it was said. Good job! Do you want to go next?
Thanks! I was listening to a LBT playlist...and that song was just starting as I saw this topic :lol I knew what it was from before Littlefoot even got to the chorus...hehe. I guess that's thanks to all the times I watched VI... (too many)
This one isn't the full sentence...
Eating all the treestars...
-
Ooh...The exact line “his heart is brave and pure” only appears twice...both times being sung by Ducky...
Littlefoot uses past tense... “his heart was brave and pure”
I had to go back and check once this thought occurred to me :lol
-
This is only a hunch but could this be Cera in LBT 1 when that longneck herd just beats them to getting a meal from that small patch of green?
-
This is only a hunch but could this be Cera in LBT 1 when that longneck herd just beats them to getting a meal from that small patch of green?
Nope nope nope!
I have no idea what the difficulty level of this one is :lol
-
Probably high enough that I with my moderate knowledge of the dialogue has to go on a rewatch marathon to figure this one out :lol
Perhaps give it a few more days before posting a hint. I'll try to figure it out before that though :^^spike
-
Hint: it’s not a quote from the Gang
:lol
-
I dunno. Only thought I have that it was said by some of elders about tinysaures, by Topps possibly. But sweet leaves are flowers, not treestars. :thinking
-
ooooh so close!
Sneak has the right movie :) :lol
-
Oof, I remember the line but I'm too lazy to grab the movie to check the exact wording... I don't know what scene exactly it happens either, I just know it's there :sducky
-
hints so far + a new hint:
it's from XI...it's not said by a member of the gang...and it's lyrics :lol
Eating all the treestars...
-
Topps during Creepy Crawlies ?
-
Topps during Creepy Crawlies ?
not quite what I was thinking of D:
It's not said by a member of the Gang or any of the Gang's relatives :lol
-
Oh you evil little...
it's in that stupid stupid stompers song!!! :lol
-
Oh you evil little...
it's in that stupid stupid stompers song!!! :lol
yep yep yep!
your turn :lol
-
Hey there, folks who were playing this game months ago! :PAli Sorry to interrupt, but I'm gonna jump in here!
"The trick is not minding."
-
I'm just gonna guess rainbowfaces. Idk, just a hunch.
(And even if its correct, anyone else is free to do a quote.)
-
Nope. C'mon, I can't be that obvious right out the gate! :lol
-
Ruby?
-
"The trick is not minding."
Bump. I like this game.
I believe this is Cera in LBT 10 when she's showing off her rock-breaking skills to Shorty.
-
