Ok, I hope I am doing this right. Is there anyone here familiar with the short-lived 1996 cartoon series Road Rovers? If so, and you're a role-player, this might be fun. It's a slight series remake.
Cast:
Hunter- Simba King Of Pride Rock
Colleen- Nick22
Exile- Nick22
Blitz- Rocky
Shag- Kor
Muzzle- Rocky
The Master- Rocky
General Parvo- Simba King Of Pride Rock
Groomer-
By remake, I mean that the big change is that the Rovers will be anthros permanently after going through the machine for the first time. Hunter and Colleen actually become a couple as the story goes on.

Awesome! But before I decide, what other rules should we go by? Like atmosphere (remain as a comedy or close to an action/drama, etc), OC's, other FC's, etc.

Fair enough. I'm going with Rocky on this. We just need a couple more parts. Also, regarding Hunter and Colleen, it's not going to happen instantly. It will happen over a period of time, leading to the admission. Anyway, let's finish casting. The remaining roles are all still open.

I can do Shag. I remember watching and enjoying the series when it was on tv.
Since Shag seems unable to talk English but the others can understand him I could instead of using " would enclose his dialog with < > .

May I suggest leaving a couple roles open for Kenji? I'm trying to convince him to join, since he really liked the show.

I agree with Nick. Also, I have come to a decision regarding this RP. Instead of remaking the series, this will be a continuation of the series picking up from the final episode. That way, we have a lot to build off of, and we can continue the eventual pairing of Hunter and Colleen (at some point later, they will truly admit their feelings for each other).

Sounds good. Then it's official. Original characters are welcome as well. I had an idea that other cano-sapien members of the Rover organization could get involved in some of the adventures.

It could be that the master had always decided to do more then the ones in the show, but he wanted to wait a while to see if there were any long term side effects, how well the first ones got along ect, before he added any permanently to the team.

Mods, I apologize for the double post. I will try hard in the future to avoid it. Now, I have an idea: since most of the parts minus one are casted, how about we go ahead and start and keep Groomer's role open until we hear from the prospective portrayer? We could say that she was on a mission for Parvo, thus setting up for the start of the story.

Name: Gen Murakami
Gender: Male
Species: Shiba Inu Cano-sapien
Hometown: Tokyo, Japan
Fur Color: Sandy blonde with white accents
Eye Color: Deep Brown
Height (Cano-Sapien Form): 5'11"
Skills/Powers: Unlike the other Road Rovers, Gen doesn't have any particularly special powers, due to differing circumstances in his creation. Instead, his creator and master trained him extensively in the Martial Arts, taking advantage of his above-average reflexes and sense to make him a formidable warrior.
Equipment and Gear:
Altered version of the Rovers uniform
-Wider sleeve openings
-Longer back section, akin to a Duster coat
-Separate undershirt, sleeveless with quick-release top
-Attached mask that can be pulled over his lower face

Ok, with this part coming to a close, we shall be meeting Parvo soon. As well, I intend to make things even more interesting by introducing a cano-sapien villain. He's a German Shepherd rogue Rover agent named Fenrir (named after the son of Loki in Germanic/Nordic mythology). His inspiration is Shan-Yu from the Disney film Mulan.

Also, Hunter is going to get a very severe beating at the hands of Fenrir in their upcoming fight. I decided this because I felt we needed a major drama here.

Sure, just a reminder to you and the other rpers. try to avoid 1-line posts when you post. one line postrs kill the flow of stories, and dont really allow others to build off of what you posted. try and get a paragraph or so when you post. talk about your characters feelins, for example, like nhunters feelings of responsibility for his team, his friendship with shag exilr, blitx, etc. same for the lion king stories.

Sorry for this, but I am trying to get this back on track. Anyway, essentially, when we confront Parvo, we will also meet Fenrir, whom Hunter confronts and is quickly defeated by. Hunter is about to get a near-death beating. Surrounding everyone else are Parvo's goons, which is why they aren't able to get to Hunter. The beating is going to be horrific beyond imagination.

It's all good. Also, there'll be another Cano-Sapien appearing soon, also working for...well, that much isn't exactly clear, but he's no ally to the Rovers.

All right, I think we should hit our destination soon. That is when we meet Parvo and the others. When Hunter is beaten by Fenrir, it's an unimaginably horrific sight, so bad that they have to get Hunter back to HQ's medical wing.

Great. The idea of the beating was one I adapted from a Star Wars novel.

Also, if Fenrir goes overboard, expect the unknown cano-sapien to step in and stop him.

Hunter is going to pass out from the beating, expect that. He'll also have broken bones.
