Role Play Discussion / A New RPG Idea

Hi guys I thought I bring up a new idea that I came up with for a Land Before Time RPG but it cross with a charcater of mine from a story that not really finished.

So here my rpg that I like to start

It based on Land Before Time but suddenly the sky of night turns to day in a flash everyone wakens up then seeing in the sky a whirling vortex of light in the sky and just a few seconds or so after it closes up with night returning in a instend but unaware that something came out of the vortex.

The Vortex attached from another dimension where my charcater comes in a humaniod 7ft 10 Dinosaur named Andrew Threehorn a Starfleet Captain of the USS Cretaceous aged 48 in earth years. A bit about him is that a accient at a space station killed both his parents and while holding a temporal shifted bone of a Triceratops the sub-light stone they found realised energy that transformed him a few hours after being hit. For 38 of his years he lived as a humaniod dinosaur and now use to it.

This is why he arrives at the Land Before Time world. He shuttle one of the sublight shuttles end up having a malfucation with the sub-light drive as he try to fix it the ship starts to fly right into the stream of light itself in the sub-light space and ends up being pulled into a vortex fissure and spat out into Earth's atomsphere which the ship crashes just outside the Great Valley not before causing alot of noise enough to wake some to see the shuttle fly over the valley and then lands outside it.

We got the 7 main ones to fill first. as usally I am Cera so that leaves 6 to go.

Hi everyone I found this out yesturday and it seems that stores be selling a DVD with four episodes.

DVD called: Land Before Time: The Amazing Adventures

How cool is that! I knew they'd be bring it out. I might be able to get myself it before I leave the USA.

weather here in IOWA haven't been typical as last year, been wet for the most part and seem like more on the way. look like we heading into a wet summer. a oppisite to last year.

Episode Discussion / The Days of Rising Water

I have managed to get this episode from a website using UTorrent, what I do not get is why it episode 18 on the list and why not shown on YTV before. The Lone Dinosaur Return episode is some time after it cause it shows Petrie's new home which means the old home was destoryed in a earilar episode.

This is rather confusing. I have been following on the website but now I believe it got some of the episodes a bit mixed up.

LBT Projects / Land Before Time Series DVD

I do not know if this is the right place to put it but I've been doing a little testing over the past weeks and it worked out well so far. I got the 17 episodes that I gathered onto my laptop most from action and the others from other sources. I managed to make them into a little personsally DVD collection for myself to watch over the states.

This I have to say has been one of my most interesting things I ever done. I find the Nero 6 software to be very handy with what I done. Took me some time to really understand how this DVD maker works but in the end I managed to create some unquie and specail collections of DVDs from the Land Before Time TV Series.

I just watched it today and found it quite alright with Doc appearing again and it seem to fit his dislike to sharpteeth when he meets Chomper. Talk about Chomper being very afaird of a longneck such as Doc and it seems that Doc isn't a loner as we all thought he was. He has a lady friend longneck and surprised me to hear and over all with what I saw.

It was great to watch as always and like to see what up next. the two songs on it is Lone Dinosaur Reprise and Feeling Happy Littlefoot Style with a little Doc and the gang singing in it as well.

I thought i try to start a new rpg and this is what I thought of so I am giving it a short and if any of you like to join

please do so, but don't die off from it please. Cause once you do it all falls apart like many RPGs that been up on this fourm before, quite a few have ended up crashing to a stop cause of some fading out of it. Also I will be using the 10th Doctor, the newest of the set of Time Lords

So this is my rule... once we begin and go on and finish it.

I think that a good rule.

I will play... the Doctor and this is before he met Martha Jones.

Now for the RPG to begin with a introduction.

Deep in the Universe at one of its many Galaxies is our home, within this one Galaxy stands a star that shines bring light to the 3rd world, our home Earth but at the start there was no life on this world but as billions of years went by the Earth became alive with plants and small creations taking to the surface of the planet. Soon another foot steps fourth and being the mightest of all living creations of this Earth before man, before mammals became world sprand... this was the time of the Dinosaurs and these wasn't much different to you or me. you had those that eat meat or vegeration, some that could imagian for the possiblties above in the skies and on the ground and some that didn't.

But in one place in this world that stood out from the rest, the Great Valley. Kids here was safe and well protected by the Great Valley from dangers of sharpteeth that would have them for snacks, this was the perfect place to have imagination to come up with new ways to entain themselves and none more special then five little dinosaurs. Littlefoot the Longneck, Cera the Threehorn, Petrie the Flyer, Ducky the Swimmer and Spike the Spiketail. Everyday was something new for them and they start the day off at the Thundering Falls unaware of a storm coming their way, a storm that will change everything forever...

Hi guys, just letting you know that I am putting up the series with premission from Action9000 on Youtube but in private area only. the only thing that is public are short music videos from the series that been put up so far in the private area.

You would have to get a account and be my friend to view the episodes. They also in three parts cause of the length of the episodes making it over 22 minutes long. Being in a private area don't vilote any rules in youtube cause only friends can view it.

The Fridge / News in the Newspaper

I just found in todays news paper in the Daily Mail a UK paper that this person that wrote a booko on First World war and the ones that died in it a 300 page book. and the local council took it off the shelfs cause of health risks to do with dropping the book on your foot or getting a paper cut.

He has to pay £5 million health insurence on the book to cover the health of people that buy it or it won't go back on sale and it a health risk to the public.

Now this is the most craziested things I seen in a news paper and like to show this to you all and see your views on this Local Council that this person lives at his name is Mr Sutton. I feel sorry for him myself and the council are being stupidly crazy, you can drop any old book on your foot and get a paper cut from printer paper, paper, news papers and basical anything to do with paper.

Swindon Borough Council is the crazy ones behind this and even they drop the level at the end of the headline to £2 million, it still crazy high insurence that happens to number of books or paper that you come across... what is this world coming to?

Hi you all, I been using movie marker to make audio recordings with my webcam of the songs from the series. I got them now stored in my laptop. it might not be prefect but it good enough to listen to

I guess people would be interested in that. So I thought I let ya know what I've done. so far I got 9 songs from those epsiodes I got stored.

Today... brings sadiness into my heart... our beloved cat Stubs died today... only a few hours after this post...

It the gravest of news that anyone could get... we loved our stubs part of the family... he will be missed... our Stubsy.... we, my brother, sister and my mum we all we remember him in our deepest of hearts... I will personally miss him...

Stubs age 8... our cat will be missed... never forget never will...

Silver Screen / Dinosaucers

I managed to get hold of all 65 epsiodes of a very old cartoon called Dinosaucers. On DVD. and someone made this, I paid £20 and worth every penny for it. I am amazed to see such a old program. this is amazing one and been giving me some ideas for a rpg.

the Dinosaucers fight the Tyrannos both sides coming from a planet called Reptilon a planet that share the same orbit with Earth but on the other side of the sun. Earth not knowing about it. I am not sure what year the Earth is based on but they have created the ION drive, have the CD player on this 1987 show and have a crystal mining operation at the coast of LA on a mining sea platform like oil ones. mining a crystal called Dinotrun a very powerful piece of rock and worth billions in US $ base on the film of course

the two sides from Reptilon are evolved dinosaurs. both sides made bases near each other. Dinosaucers at Lava Dome IV and the Tyrannos at Tar-Pits II not sure where abouts in North America but I think it at the southern tip of Alaska. next to Canada at the west part. they have their little battles and each time the DInosaucers beating them but each one I watched a few days now been fun and been rewatching them

Unfinished RP's / Planet Alimon

I just thought of this and see if anyone wouldn't mind this, i know that Alimon's are owned by a member here. so all copyrights is his, if he wish to stop this now, I will comply to it.

here is the background summary to the point of this bit.

USS Cretaceous, a federation Star Ship that gone into the far reaches of the Galexy coming into the Beta Quadrant arriving at the world which Alimon's live. the federation council found information about them from a person which was frozen since the earily 21st centrey and now been awaken. And now Cretaceous captain, Andrew Threehorn (which is one of my personal Charcaters) ordered to go there and learn as much about these Alimons as possible can with the help of the person that wrote the very reports.

General Land Before Time / Rainbow Faces

The Rainbow Faces wasn't troodons. they was another speices of dinosaur that lived in the areas of south or north america. the troodons was only found in the south pole area. the two rainbow face in LBT 7 was aliens pretending to be dinosaurs so they would kind of acting out of place.

I kind of had to bring it up, cause when I think about it we kind of miss viewing those two from LBT 7. troodons being the small dinosaurs that was most likely half the size of the rainbow faces was and had far bigger eyes then them and not slim lined necks and coloured beaks like the rainbow faces, I did come up with a image once on goggle that closely looked lke a rainbow face being called something else with saur at the end.

plus the troodon large eyes came from living in complete darkiness for over months at a time cause they lived on the land that is now the south pole. the rainbow faces was in the great valley somewhere in north or south amercia. no where near that land mass making the rainbow faces NOT troodons.

I kind of brought this up cause each time I come across things people say the rainbow faces was troodons but they wasn't they was disgussed as dinosaurs or enhanced type of dinosaur that evolved on another planet. being a alien type dinosaur but the fact is... that rainbow faces on LBT 7 was from outter space making them not troodons as many think they are.

I liking dinosaurs alot make me feel that people keep miss viewing the speices differences between the two. so I kind of had to make this topic.

Role Play Discussion / Time Lord and Before Time

This RPG is just thought of and hope to get people into it. this is going to be a cross with Doctor who and Land Before time, don't worry I will play the Doctor and Rose so there no problem with that. if you need to know more about him go to. http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/

The Tardis which is a blue box that a 1960s Police phone box lands in the valley and things start to go weird from day one.

The Story will start in the Great Valley like no other day.

People just say which one you will play and join in

So we have the adults and Littlefoot, PEtrie, Spike, DUcky and Cera to be played and one personal charcater from each if you like but we need to have these main ones to fill in ok? this is a trail idea and going along as I go. Hope any of ya will join in.

oh there will be a sub section of events leading to the landing of the last of the time lords and Rose from the future of Earth in this time frame which travel along with him unaware of the Tardis taking things into it's own course of action.
