Horror movies are awesome! Feel free to post some suggestions on here.

I like the 2010 version of "Nighmare on Elm Street"---it has Thomas Dekker in it, who was Littlefoot at onepoint in the LBT sequel era!  :)

I don't have a specific favorite horror movie that I can think of.  I like the older ones, mainly the pre 60's ones I think, with a few from the 60's maybe.

I love horror films too, especially the ones that creep you out instead of throwing loads of gore at you.

Ju - On: The Grudge is one of my favourites - it's the only film that's actually given me nightmares. That damn ghost with the broken neck :(  It's also the film that started my interest in japanese horror.
The Blair Witch Project is another good one. I always love horror films that leave a lot to your imagination, and I've never really liked the woods to begin with.

I also thought the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street was pretty decent, but I'll always prefer the original. The sequels really screwed up Freddy's character though.

Lucio Fulci's Zombi 2 - Definetly one of the darkest and creepiest zombie movie I've ever seen. Better than the movie it is supposed to be a sequel to, George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead, by a long shot. Not the best cast, but definetly the most real looking zombies I've ever seen and possibly the best gore effects I've ever seen. And the second creepiest theme song I've heard in my life:

The Ring...and Saw (if that counts) (it's really my favorite not because of the grisly and fear and all that, but because it was so poorly done, it was humuourous)...and The Shining...and the Exorcist.

The Exorcist - easily the scariest movie I have ever seen in my life.

The scariest and best one for me thus far has been "Candyman".  Holy crap, that movie is scary :o!

Other really good ones in my opinion have been the "Saw" series, "The Shining", "Pet Sematary" (yeah, I'm a Stephen King nut :DD), "Jeepers Creepers" (ending sucked but the rest was pretty good), "The Strangers", and the "Paranormal Activity" series.

I also found "Mirrors" to be scary as hell.
