Which fandom did you get into first: LBT or Bionicle?

Considering that fact that LBT is intended for little kids, along with the fact that LBT had been around over a decade before Bionicle, I don't think it should be so surprising that my first fandom was LBT. I lost interest between the 8th and 9th movies, which would be around 2001 or 2002.

Although I've been collecting Bionicle sets since the first ones in 2001, I wasn't actually interested in the story until late 2003. Since then, Bionicle has always been my biggest fandom.

I think I got back into LBT around early 2007 or perhaps even late 2006. Hard to remember exactly.

Let's see... I think the original reason I started watching Mythbusters was because I wanted to watch something on the Discovery Channel on a weekly basis that I would be interested in. There were some one-time programs (one, two, or even three hours long) that I liked, but if I wanted to know when the next such program would be on, I would have to see a commercial for that program, which would very likely be seen only on that channel. To improve the chances of that happening, I decided that I would have to watch something on that channel at least once a week. I can't remember why I chose Mythbusters specifically, but once I started watching it every week, I always enjoyed watching it. These day, thanks to the TV schedule on the internet, the original reason isn't there anymore, but I still like watching that show.

I've just recently began applying to a few nearby colleges (something I should have been doing over a year ago). I'm hoping to study aerospace engineering, but there aren't many colleges up here in or near Vermont that offer such a major.

Also, I'm hoping to have my fanfic finished by no later than the end of June this year.

Since many of my sets are organized in groups of six, it shouldn't be too hard to count them all. Let's see...*starts counting the sets on the shelves*

Since the Bionicle sets (not the story) are going to be discontinued (for the foreseeable future) this year, that means I only have six more sets left to collect, so that should eventually bring my total to 184 different Bionicle sets.

(Not surprisingly, I was concerned about running out of shelf space until I heard that the Bionicle sets would be discontinued.)

Besides those three, the only one I can think of would be Total Drama Island. (There's a topic here on GoF about the latest season: http://z7.invisionfree.com/thegangoffive/i...?showtopic=6822) A main reason why I would consider myself a fan of this show is because I check it's section on fanfiction.net every day. (At the rate new or updated fanfics are posted, I usually look through two pages for all the updates of a single day.) While I consider most of them pathetic and not worth my time, there are a few good ones out there. (and very long). As for the show itself, I always watch every new episode with my sister. (she says Canadians make the best cartoons)

I just remembered that I had another fandom: Ed, Edd, n' Eddy. Before I first became interested in Bionicle in late 2003, this was my biggest fandom (I had (temporarily) lost my interest in LBT after the 8th movie, which would have been late 2001). I was such a big fan that I often recorded episodes on a video cassette. This allowed me to frequently pause the tape so I could draw comics based on some favorite episodes of mine. I never got far on any of them. I'm afraid I can't show you those comics because I thew them all out years ago, which I now really regret. Anyway, my current interest in this cartoon is far less than it was back then, so although I will instantly recognize it when I see or hear it, I won't go so far as to ignore anything else.

Sorry for taking so long to answer, I forgot about this topic.

After 7 weeks of college, I can definitely say that I despise having to live on campus, particularly all of the noise on my floor. People throwing things in the hallway, playing loud music that I would never even accept, I hate them so much that I almost never leave my room (Just so you know, I don't have a roommate because I had requested a single room, a decision that I'm so glad I made). All that noise bothers me so much that I've been forced to wear earplugs every night, just so I can get some sleep.

I am so glad that I have this week off.

Sorry for taking so long to answer, I just couldn't think of anything to say.

To be honest with you, I can't think of a definite answer to that question. I have a hard time picking a particular favorite moment, especially since the earlier chapters were written so long ago that I'm sure I've forgotten a few things.

Anyway, this reminds me that I should get to work on my fanfic. I've done hardly any progress on the next chapter.

To answer the month-old question, I'm not an outdoors person, so I don't have much to say about that. When I was younger, I used to enjoy cross-country skiing during the winter, but that was years ago, I'm not into it anymore.

I almost forgot to mention, today is the 3-year anniversary of when I first joined GoF.
