My favorite is always Link. He just has so many moves that are very effective!
He used to be my favorite character, now i play as falco for 1 vs. 1, and Ganondorf for free for all.

Theres some good games: Resistance fall of man is supposed to be a pretty good FPS, I played the demo for Motor Storm and seemed like it could be fun game and Ninja Gaiden Enigma might be good but i dunno if its out yet. Those area all the games i could come up with.

Pikachu, Pichu, Jigglypuff, and Mewtwo were the playable PokÈmons in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
I know all the characters, i actually forgot all about pichu though, i don't think i have ever played as pichu. I would have to agree on you Manny that Pichu was a weird choice.

Besides, I've used it twice to do the infamous Event Match 51 with no falls using the famed "Jigglypuff strategy."
I never tried to beat event match 51 with no falls, i would probably get too frusterated. I have beaten it twice though, once with Link and another with Ganondorf.

Why not Jigglypuff?
Well i never really liked Jigglypuff as a Pokemon, and it seemed like such a weird choice of pokemon out of the 151 they could choose from when the first Smash was released. I think Mewtwo was a better Pokemon to add in Melee. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be in the game, but i don't think it would be a interesting character choice for me. You never know though, Wario might surprise me he might be an exellent character to play as, i'm just not to fond of him.

well i guess i'll break the ice here. First of all, does any one have a PS3? At the moment i don't think that the PS3 doesn't have a big enough library of good games and with the huge price tag, i'm not even interested in getting one.

I look forward to this game......  :D
As do I. Like I mentioned before, it could be a very cool game and I look forward to seeing the finished product.

I'm personally looking forward to Wario's addition.
I personally don't really like Wario that much, but hes not as bad as Jiggalypuff (sp?) in my opinion.

ust you wait, me and Kirby are going to show you what we're made of!
I eargerly await our match. I'm not sure what character i would pick, all of the new characters anouced looks pretty promising, well, except Wario. Until the game comes out, i'll be fighting lvl 9 bots in SSBM without breaking a sweat (I have been known to sweat after a couple of intense Smash Bros matches).

I'd go for less First-Person Shooters
The reason why there are so many FPSes on the PC is becuase with the mouse, your able to aim really quick, and accurate, while the dual analog steup on a controller, it takes a lot longer to aim. The only thing close to coming as good as a keyboard/mouse control is the Wii's motion control. I don't mind seeing a lot of FPSes on the PC and i'm eagerly waitng for Unreal Tournament 2007 to be realeased. i'm not a huge fan of real-time strategies though i enjoy playing Starcraft from time to time and i'm also going to get Starcraft II when it comes out in 2008.

It just get's boring using that keyboard and mouse when ya should be using a controller.
I find that the keyboard and mouse is one of the best for controls, with the ability of using hot keys to preform actions quicker. As for ROMs, i've been playing them for almost 5 years so i'm just as good, if not better, at playing SNES games with the keyboard then a controller.

An honorable/selfish reputation, much less a reputation at all, would be really difficult to code out, but that's a great idea.
When you mentioned the different choices, it reminded me of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic with the choices making you character light or dark, so i admit that the idea wan't totally mine.

Quote
I posted my idea on another forum and someone actually offered to make the models for me. He recruited three of his friends, and they're all really excited about the idea. We've been working on it for about a week, me supplying the sketches and some of the sounds, they making the engine, the models, stuff like that.
Thats great! I hope your project is successful.

What do you think of my idea?
It looks like you thought about this for quite a long time and the overall idea is pretty interesting. You could add more racial abilities for each of the species to make the choices more varied. You already mention the dragon with its breath, it might also have higher defence but be considerably slower then the griffon or phoenix. The phoenix might have the highest speed and increased regeneration and the griffon would have better voice and communication stats. Thats an example of what the difference might be like between the species. And maybe with the inclusion of a honorable/selfish reputation depending on the choices made, some characters in the game might fight along side you depending on whether the character is also honroable or selfish. Just as a thought. Finally if the game had a good plot, i think it could be a very cool game.

Ah, the Wii! My most favorite of the Next Gen. Consoles! I was crazy about this system before it even came out.
As were I. I have, and always be, a nintendo fan. I have been waiting for the Wii to come out before E32005, back then it was codenamed revolution.

Quote
I'm looking forward to the upcoming Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl that are all going to come out this year. And the first Wii game I'm going to buy next year, is... Mario Kart Wii
:DD those are all the games i'm buying. The games i have at the moment are Zelda TP, Trauma Centre SO, Metal Slug Anthology and Super Paper Mario. I've beaten twice, second time with 3 hearts, and gotten everything in the game except the sinking lure. I've beaten all the operations in Trauma Centre including the 7 bonus, exteme operations, beaten all the metal slug games, and beaten Super Paper Mario twice, second time beating it i was level 5 or 6.
For VC i have:
-Paper Mario which i''m currently working on (hoping it will last until Aug 27)
-Star Fox 64 which i play sometimes on my spare time, beat all the levels.
-Donkey Kong Country, finished and have about 80% secrets found
-DKC 2 DKQ, finished with 102%
-Zelda: Link to the Past, finished
-Zelda II: finished (which is good enough for me!)
-Kirby's Adventure, finished
-Sonic 1 & 2 and i've finished both of them.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl may be a last minute canidate, but I'm expecting it to get the 2007 Game of the Year Award
I would be surprised if it didn't, even with Halo 3 comin out in Sept.

Perhaps we can have a match on SSBB (if nintendo keeps its promise of making SSBB online) or a race on Mario Kart when they come out Pokeplayer

Did your brother ever finish the low percent run?
I don't think he was able to beat Ridley. I've done a couple low percent runs, i've beaten Zero Mission on normal with 15% and at the last boss on hard with 15% though i can't beat it. I've also beaten Metroid Fusion with 1%. A video of me beating it can be seen here. It might be hard to see, all i had was a digital camera and i set it on a flat surface on my lap to record the video.
