Well... The title says it :^.^: It's time for a new project, and this time family will be our choice.
The song is one of my favorites, but it seems that you guys like it too :)
Who wants to join? Any intruments this time too? I'd love to hear more of them.

Please listen to the song with your headphones while you sing, or turn the volume so low that the mic wont catch the sound. That's easier with the mixing. Those who need the lyrics, a link to it is in action9000's signature.
I guess most of you know how it works now, if there are any questions, feel free to respond here or pm me. You can send recordings over mail, or upload them via an upload site.

I'll sing, but I sincerely hope that you are able to get at least Actions quality of background music. I'm not sure I want to sing if it's going to be some recording that's gone through the vocal removal process or something.

I'm sorry austin. I'm not able to make decent background music. But im not using vocal removers either. it will be on the original song, but I can give a try on making background music. I cant promise anything.

Hi. As I told you all before I thought I really couldn't make any background music at all. Now, after giving it a try again, it seems that I can maaaaybe make it anyway. It will take some time though, and it will be in a slight different tempo than the original, so you have to sing to that melody... I'm not sure if I can totally create the background melody, but I've got a start :). So if you guys want me to go on with that, just say so. The only problem would be that lbtfan13 has to sing it again, but I don't think you've got a problem with that do you?.
We'll see about background music...

Okay. I've been working more on that background music. It's a pain :p A lot of different instruments make it kinda hard for my untrained ear. *keeps on trying*

I'm terribly sorry, lbtl. But I won't be able to make good background music.. this has got 2 main reasons:
- My computer can just play a couple of instruments, and I cant put something together when I don't even know how it sounds like. or you will get... bad quality :p
- reason number 2 is connected with the first one.. there are so many different instruments, and I can't use half of the instruments used in the original song with my computer..
And the reason I stated in my previous post, which is connected with reason 2...
O well. You guys can just sing to the original song again.

I had not made one yet, because I was still fighting with the background melody.(there will probably not be one.. no worries)

Count me in too. I know attendance for the past few singing projects have been slightly less than boastable but I'd like in on this one! I'll make sure I'm there. With a deadline til September, even a lacking lounge-about like yours truly can get his rear in gear and produce something worthy of contributing :D

Sorry guys, I won't be able to record my voice, simply because I don't know how to and my voice really doesn't sound that great when ever it's recorded. :p It's werid, it's quite good not being recorded, but it sounds terrible when it is. <_<

Nobodies voice is terrible :p except those who cannot talk .. :p
Knowing how is not so hard, you just need a microphone you can plus in the computer, and a program to record with.

Plus the own voice always sounds strange if you hear it recorded somewhere. I don't remember what the effect is called, but there is an actual explanation for why recordings of the own voice sound stupid.

very easy. You hear your voice 80% different from what others hear, that is because the vibrations your voice creates reach your ear through your skull. So when you record your voice, others will hear it like they always do, while it sounds strange to you.
:p I discovered that when i was 9 or something and got a radio on which I could record :p whee

I got my recording done! Just in time! (always just in time :DD ). I'll send them to you when I get the chance. I don't have the time right now coz I've gotta jet out to help a friend for a few hours. Hopefully I can catch you online and I'll send it across that way. Failing that, I slap it up on yousendit and you can grab it that way. I've done 2 recordings so you can pick the better of the two (if one is better than the other coz they sound gawd awful to my ears :lol ). Will give you the links when I get back. ;)

Hi all, I'm sorry for the delay of finishing this project. School has finally got an impact of me and got me working :p With 10 singers and my will to give everyone thesame amount of time to sing it can be quite hard too. I told myself to focus on it this holiday but it seems that I have to do homework and work on scouts stuff instead.
So yea, I'm really getting slow on this project. My apologies. :oops (lol I like that one :lol )

I've been way busy myself with Homeworks and reports, especially math's, toons of piles of them.

Yeah, take your time. Things made in a rush don't end up well, most of the times (unless its your geometry drawing, that one counts well all the time :lol ).

You don't even need to photobucket the awards yourself. I uploaded them to one account and they are not going to go anywhere. So all you need to do is to rightclick on the award and check out the url under "properties" add that url into Image brackets into your signature and there it will be.

I think your color looked a lot like someone else's (cus i was lazy, sorry :p) If you cant see the difference i could try making your color different...

It's not too odd. I used word 2007 to make the document and used just a slightly different color. Word 2003 changed that into one color.
