Insane Cafe 4: The Insane Frontier

"You're a tough opponent, King Ozai," Oliver declared in his dream, "You've certainly earned your reputation." He tried his best to push back against the sumo leader vision. He then saw versions of Mona and Flash appear before on the side of the ring, Mona was cheerleading for him, while Flash was supporting Ozai.

"Please, we have the ability to help you," Kiara said to the king, wanting to save as many lives as she could. That kindheartedness was who she was naturally.

[Serris]

"Got it." Mr. Bigmouth then approached the vendor.

The vendor smiled as he accepted some gold coins from a customer in exchange for a what looked like some sort of handheld laser cannon. "Ah, I see you have changed your mind. What would you like?"

"I'm looking for some older armor. You know, something with more character."

The vendor's eyes lit up as he heard Mr. Bigmouth's request. "Well, you're in luck! We've got something that might interest you."

The vendor disappeared into the backroom for a moment before he wheeled out a massive metal suit with stylized muscles on it along with a distinct topknot on the helmet. The white mawashi worn by the humanoid form gave a clear indication of its origins.

"What is it?" Mr. Bigmouth asked.

"It's armor from Mawashi. Granted, it's only ceremonial armor but it's pretty tough stuff."

"How much?"

"Well, it's not really protective against modern weapons like that space suit I showed before so I'll let it go for 10,000 gold pieces."

Mr. Bigmouth nodded. "Okay." He handed over the gold pieces.

[Nick22]

Nick, meanwhile was off in a nearby bathroom talking with stripetail" Stripetsail I need some money from you" nick said into his ring. " we've found a smuggling operation onboard here, and i need enough money to buy some pieces for evidence" Evidence? stripetail questioned " its a sting operation' nick replied " Sting? What sort of sting?"Stripetail replied " its a human term, for undercover police operations. breaking up smuggling operations, illegal drugs, that sort of stuff.' Very  well " stripetail said, audibly sighing ' How Much?" Um. 20 million" nick said much to the wizard's displeasure" 20 Million? My dear boy, are you planning on buying out the entire store?" I need to be convincing " nick replied " I need to convince them that I'm an agent of a very wealthy collector. If i throw around a lot of coin that will convince them that I'm legit. Look I know I already owe you a lot of money, could you please just add this to my tab with you?" My dear lad, if you keep borrowing money from me in large amounts you'll never repay it all  even if you work the rest of your life>' The new cafe will bring a lot more money than the last one>' nick said "Please, Stripetail?" " alright, alright. i;ll play along in this  little act of yours. i'll be the rich, anonymous collector. just keep your phone connected, and  talk to me when you've found something interesting' Stripetail said, and  nick's phone glowed, as stripetail transferred power from the ring to the phone.

 Nick exited the bathroom and re-entered the weapons shop. The vendor looked up at him "Ah, you're back. what Can I do for you this time?" I'm here on behalf of a friend, a collector of ancient and powerful enchanted swords." nick said and the vendors eyes lit up. "Ah I see. Very good,  Very good. Please look around"  the vendor said, and Nick began looking back in the back of the closet. As Nick looked around another worker came by with a fresh supply of weapons and armor in a box. " mind if i look in there?' Nick said to the worker and he shrugged and set the open box down. Nick started fumbling though the box in the dim light ,Nick used the light from his ring phone to see, and began pulling out shields spears and helmets. a noise from beneath a large chest plate caught his attention and he moved it aside to find  the strangest blade Nick had ever seen. for one the hilt was shaped in the face of a tiger complete with what looked like blinking eyes, a cloth was wrapped over its mouth. " had to gag that thing, it kept yapping the whole trip, something about belonging to a ranger, whatever that is. i'd keep the gag on, if I were you' the worker said" I'll buy it' Nick said quickly " Really? ok. heresw the sheath ' the worker said pulling out an ornate white scabbard. "Nick took it, then noticed a broken blade on the very bottom. "What about this one?"  he said pulling at the hilt and blade. "Its busted, you can have ot and the loudmouth. 80 gold for the both of em." said the Vendor , coming by to check on his customer. " Found that in some ruin, Wintertop, or something like that./' the worker said. " Not much use  when its busted, if you could repair, it would be a nice piece." Nick handed over the gold,  he sheathed the tiger sword and took the sheath for the broken blade as well. ' that should be enough swords, Now I'm looking for magic rings and armor.' nick said.

King Wo's face wrinkled ever so slightly as he frowned. "Do not dare order me to do anything," he said in a soft but dangerous voice.

(Belinsk, Weyard)

Sveta panted heavily as she entered the now deserted central square of Belinsk. She looked around. The last of the refugees had evacuated as was the royal regalia and artifacts from the museum.

She gave a soft bark of joy as she saw Ducly and Tigeress leaning against the fountain.

"Artifacts, nobility and my section of city have been evacuated."

Sveta looked skywards at the looming countdown timer. She smiled. "Now all is left is us."

(Passaj, Weyard)

Elder Bogho looked at the Alchemy with his hands clasped behind his back. He had received word from Ayuthay that the Alchemy Well there also had a similar problem. By now, floating boulders of zol hovered over the well as workers continued building up a wall of rock and rubble around it.

He nodded. "It seems like the shield is the only way to proceed. Hopefully, the Forge will be able to power the shield."

The elder turned to Agumon and his party. "You may proceed, Beastmen." He backed away and signaled the rest of the workers to do the same.

(Ayuthay, Weyard)

"The Alchemy Well can only be reversed by an Adept who can use their psyenergy to either evaporate or fill that bowl with water. It cannot be deactivated." King Paithos gestured to a red clay bowl filled with water in front of the Alchemy Well.

Several men were preparing to build a stone "igloo" over the clay bowl.

The vendor nodded. "What kind of armor did you have in mind? We have ceremonial armors from all across the cosmos? Or would you prefer something more modern?"

We'll contact stripetail ' dixie said ' and ask for a ride back to the ship" she spoke into her ring " stripetail, we've gptten everyone out of Belinsk, all the royal family, all the relics, everything. ALso please note that Tigress and dulcy have to pay for dinner tonight ' it was a difference of 40 people " dulcy pointed out. "Out of 400000 people thats nothing." " whatever arrangement you girls have made is between you. I'll be briunging you onboard immediately. I'll be getting the other teams out. Ayuthay and passaj have been evacuated and i'll be getting them out ince i get you girls out,.Well done girls Teleportius" stripetail said as the 5 of them were magicked away.

_ Tigeress appeared  winterville square alongside Dixie, with Gabuna and dulcy behinfd her. It was night time, and the girls were exhausted from 3 days and night of evacuating so many residents. " lets get to the condference room and get some sleep" tigeress yawned. " i'll  check in with Flash and Luca in the morning.

Oliver had been carried back to the big bedroom every shared, they didn't want to disturb the kitten's sleep.

"It's good he's safe and free now," Kitty smiled, gently patting his head.

Oliver was still dreaming about wrestling the mighty sumo king.

Spike looked over the menu with interest.  It looked similar to what he had seen in menu's back home, though with some differences.

Hes a good kid Luca said as Oliver was tucked in. "he's had a long day, and needs his sleep" she added as she put an extra blanket over the orange kitten.  " he did a good job, tending to the bears needs. I've rarely seen a more needy bear" she said. Flash and mona were in a bed next to Oliver, both pups were sound asleep, off in DreamLand where they were having an " open House' with their toys, with tea and cakes to munch on.

 Sima and Vushu were in the mall shopping for stuff that caught their eye. Vushu was buying Vitani an all you can eat meat dinner, while Sima was trying to find a nice bra and mawashii combo that fit her. Vushu and sima knew each other quite well, both were native mawashiians.
_ got anything for your dreamboat sima?' Vushu smirked as they walked into another clothing store." tRying to, Vushu, just having trouble finding the right size for him. Hes big, and hunky" Sima grinned. " and married " vushu grinned " hes a prince. they have flexibility with mates. have to, in that job. At least thatys what hes told me."

 Kovu, Vitani  Stitch and Angel wee brought into town, by one of Stripetail's teleportation spells. Agumon , Gabumon and scooby had gone into the conference room, bringing with them copious amounts of zol, mostly to form cots for the refugees, and  make more room for people to sleep.

 I could go for a nice steak after all that evacuating" kovu said as the 4 of them wandered around the town square " you're always hungry, little Bro " vitani said, smitrking nonetheless ' Hey. Keeping up a body the girls drool over takes lots of food " kovy said. " I'm proud of my gut. " And your butt, and those charms of yours " Hey. those charms have helped our kingdom become strong ' kovu said. " and my , ahem talents, will ensure a long line of princes for this kingdom, down the road of course.' "'m not always sure aboutr you Kovu' vitani said. She turned towards Luca, "Want to join Tiger and I for a little while?" she offered her, "He's playing up a comedic persona."

Sly and Caremlita were in their Interpol gear, patrolling around the populated areas of the spire of Winter.

"Anything suspicious Ringtail?" Carmelita asked.

"Nothing yet Carm," Sly replied, as he was tempted to swipe a rose from a flower ship and give it to her.

"Ok Dimitri, my new device is almost ready," Bentley said, "Magnetic shoes that will let you stick to any surface."

"Those lack the superb bling," the literal lounge lizard frowned.

Sure" luca beamed. i could use a laugh or two. Lead the way" she Said To Kitty as Tigress came up to them, intent on going to the conference room. Dixie, Gabuna and Dulcy followed behind. "Hi lca.  we just got back. i'll catch up with what you and Flash did in the morning " the purple wolfess yawned. ' OF course . i'm just heading out with Kitty and tiger here." luca said. "The night is yours, you're off the clock' Tigress said " have a good time. Tiger is stil on the planet. Who knows when He'll be in. But our coty been cleared" she shrugged as she heded " Sleep well Tigress Luca said as Tigress and the other entered, each wishing Luca good niight." Go ahead kitty' Luca said.

 Vitani spotted Vushu as she and Kovu were going around picking food from various stalls "There you are Vushu " vitani said coming up to the pair as Kovu carried food wrapped in newspaper "Ah, just the princess I was looking foir. i have a few things I got for you, but I cant show them to you just yet. surprise, and all that. Sima and I have been looking for music to have a dance off too. Problem is, i dont think they have music stores here, per se.

"Can I offer any of you fine felines free samples?" an employee at a nearby restaurant offered to Kovu, Sima, Vitani, and Vushu. The server could tell they all had healthy appetites.

Kitty handed Luca a themed outfit as they went to see Tiger, "To help you get into character," she explained, as Tiger was still in his costume. "He were are, your subjects have returned, mighty God Tiger," she acted.

Sveta said nothing but staggered over to an empty bench and fell asleep on it.

Elder Bogho and the other Passaj Elders were assisted out of the shuttle by two of the Spirarian guards.

Even in this desperate situation, many of the Passajians -- being descendants of the Exathi, a people legendary for their skills as artisans and engineers -- took the opportunity to marvel at the rough, yet strangely beautiful architecture of the starship's vehicle bay.

King Paithos and the other Ayuthayans were being escorted to the temporary refugee waiting area.

Many of the Belinskovites had been evacuated to the numerous locations that would accommodate the refugees. The Ayuthayans and Passajians were waiting for the next available craft to take them to their destinations.

King Wo steepled his hands as he looked over Kopa, Tiger, Agumina and Kiara. He tapped his fingers together and frowned.

"You Beastmen have wasted my precious time long enough. Guards! Remove them from the palace!"

The guards obeyed their leader's order as they marched towards the four.

"Agumina opened her mouth a green fireball visibly forming in her mouth. "we don't want to fight, but we will if we have to."kopas armor glowed brown as the ground beneath him began to shift, and a blue mist surrounded Kiara. But before the 4 came to blows with the royal guard " stripetail's voic cut in. ' Stop!" the sound of stripetail's voice became audible to everyone in the room " fighting will solve nothing, and will only make King Wo a dedicated enemy. which we ,obviously cannot afford. time is pressing on us. His majesty's mind is quite made up, and long experience with royalty has taught me that once a king makes up his mind, he rarely alters it. we will take up no more of your time Your Majesty" Stripetail's voice continued." thank you for the audience, my emissaries will be leaving promptly, they are needed elsewhere

The guards leveled their spears at the group the moment Agumina began to form a fireball. One of the guards raised his spear and a shimmering blue barrier surrounded the guard and King Wo.

When Stripetail spoke. King Wo looked around for the speaker. Seeing nothing, he scowled and addressed the empty air.

"Understood. My patience was running thin with your emissaries as they dared order me to do something. See to it they are properly punished for their impertinence." He looked away from the four and dismissed them with a wave of his hand.

The Vaalbaran evacuation ship had finally been completed. The spaceport had been completely stripped of every metal item nearby. They had even sent some of the crew into the ruined city to salvage enough metal.

But their efforts paid off. The ship looked exactly as the specifications had stated. And it was all thanks to the Ratchet and his crew.

The head Vaalbaran engineer approached Ratchet. "I cannot thank you enough for your help. We have one last request though, we need antihydrogen to power the craft."

 Nick paused for a moment. I'm looking fior mithril armor,  a complete pink dragon set from warfang, and a gem suit from skylands. I'm willing to pay 200000 for those 3 " Nick said to the vendor, before going around the shop and picking out a couple other armor suits. the larger one gleaned with a royal purple light, the marking on it clearly indicated it was from Mawashii, the other had a tag on it ' property of inglorious war museum" how much for these? nick asked showing them to the vendor. 750000 for both' the vebndor said. " those are two of my best pieces.

 I will have words with them to be sure" stripetail replied.have a good day your majesty.' Stripetail's voice disappeared, as the 4 team members wee shown the door. tiger was fuming as they exited the palace. "Why wizard?' he spoke in his ring once the 4 were well outside the palace and headed towards the kingdom borders" why stop us from cracking skulls?" because we are not here to impose our wills on others, and trying to do so with someone ike Wo would be counterproductive. We dont have time to waste beating our heads in against a brick wall of stubbornness. Convince as many of the people of Kaocho to leave as you can.  The king may not listen to reason, but the people might. Kaocho is the last region of Weynard that has not been evacuated. As you can see in the timer above you. we have 7 days, 4 hours, 7 minutes and 25 seconds before impact. Vaalbarra will become visible in the night sky very soon, and the magic of Weynard will start to be affected" stripetail said. " see how many you can save within the next 4 hoursa then head to the border. I'll magick you back to the ship." stripetail said

I would wager the Vaallbarans have been mining antihydrogen from the fields for ages, as parts of the field are quite weak. scans of your ship indicate 10 tons of anti-hydrogen is necessary to fully power the ship."" got it aphelion" we're headed your way" ratchet said. how long will it take to harnress 10 tons of the stuff ' ETa is 3 hours " came the reply.

Amiti was calmly mediating in his cell. The two guards outside were barely keeping an eye on them. Apparently, they trusted the shield generators and reinforced bars to do their job for them.

Karis looked at the guards. "I do wonder what became of Tyrell and Sveta?"

Ms. Swimmer was eating her fruit salad. She delicately wiped her muzzle with the cloth that they had back on the Arkeyan Show Cruiser. Luckily, the elegant craft had been stocked with a full set of cutlery and plates. Granted, the plates were produced at the industrial sector on the Spire of Winter but they were still quite nice.

"Nick certainly has talent as a gardener," she said. She turned to "Ember" and "Flora" "Enjoying the fruit salad I made?"

Mr. Bigmouth had relied on Nick to distract the vendor...who appeared to be the only person in this area.

Luckily, the intense fighting in this area had destroyed most of the security systems and cameras in the area.

The Saurolophus was standing in front of a door with a keycard reader. A handheld computer with a "card" was hooked up to the reader.

"Come on, hurry up!" Tyrell whispered as Mr. Bigmouth looked at his screen.

"Patience. This process is time consuming but will allow us to enter any area that uses the same code." Mr. Bigmouth looked down the corridor to see Nick purchasing the stolen goods.

"Can't believe this," a farmer grumbled as he waded amongst his rice plants to harvest them. "There's that weird cloud in the sky and King Wo won't let us leave the place!"

"Quiet!" Another farmer silenced him. He then lowered his voice, and moved around, picking rice. The splashing helped disguise their conversation. "I'd like to leave too and see what is going on. Rumors abound that Tonfon is completely empty. But if his guards hear us, he'll have us killed."

This stuff is great  flora said, as ember put more on her plate. ' its good to actually have food thats tasty, as opposed to the stuff in the cafe, ' she added as she devoured the fruit on her plate, before looking around. ' after we finish eating, where do you want to go? she asked miss swimmer ' i have to get ' Ember here something as our anniversary is coming up, and i want to get her something special. ' a gag for sparx?' Ember grinned. " sparx isnt THAT bad ' flora said. ' he's ruined more than one of my piano lessons." ember replied. ' hes fine Ember , he really is.' Flora i've lived with him now for more than a year. he's not improving. yes i get hes your brother , but.. ' he just needs a girlfriend '; Flora said. ' someone to loosen him up.'  teach him how to have a sense of humor, and a taste for musical talent, as well'  Ember said, with a grin. ' baby steps and all that>' she grinned.

 Nick picjked out armor from myaardi,  warfang and pony planet, each costing 150000 to buy as the vendor brought out the armors from midEarth Warfang and skylands  he had requested, adding 300000 to his bill.  he brought them up to the vendor, while the totals he was buying these weapons and armor for was significant,  it was likely significantly below their real worth. Nick handed over the gold and watched as the armor  sets were put on a trolley to be brought back to the cruiser.  Nick bid farewell to the vendor who was counting up the largge amounts of gold Nick had given him. . He walked out of the shop, drew the tiger blade out, and removed the gag covering its mouth.

 'Th-thank you' the tiger head said to him. 'for removing that gag. Those heathens gagged me when I would not stop condemning their stealing of me. if you could return me to where I belong, I would be deeply grateful" What is your name, if I may ask?" Nick said. 'ah! of course, I must introduce myself, manners and all. I am called Saba. " well Saba, I'm Nick. nice to meet you.  Unfortunately, I have no idea where you come from, and even if I knew, I have no means to send you back. I'm afraid you are going to be stuck with me for a long time to come." Saba made a face and was silent for a few seconds ' I have a friend who could help you. He is a wizard, named Stripetail. Lord Stripetail' Nick said. ' Is he a good wizard?" Saba asked ' Yes he is, he detests evil, in all its forms' Nick said, and relief appeared on the tigers face. ' Fate , then has been kind to me. By chance, does he know Zordon?" "I don't believe so, but then again Stripetail keeps many things to himself. he may know him, or at least know of him. You'll have to ask him when I report to him. for now, I'm headed into a dangerous area  so we'll need to be quiet. I'll introduce you to the others in good time. " thank you Nick" Saba said as Nick sheathed him again. Nick then headed over to where Mr Bigmouth was" are we in yet?" he whispered urgently.

 Kaocho
 Tiger approached the two rice farmers ' Come with us if you wish to live. ' Just act as if you are  headed home. Collect your families and your belongings, and meet up with us. Your king may not have given permission to let everyone leave. But he cant stop those who want to leave from going. Do it now" The wolf said in a low sharp voice.' Hurry' Agumina said ' we don;t have much time. We need to get as many people out in the next 4 hours as possible

Sima smirked as she grabbed a sample of finger food ' I'm wearing a new outfit for you' She said shaking her ample butt in Kovu's direction. " you like it. 'try and keep  the show clean Sima" Vitani said " eh, Sima's a harmless flirt,. She's flirted with Steele and Balto dozens of times ' Vushu shrugged " She likes guys with moxie.' and good abs ' Sima added ' so what? I like good looking guys..' that whisper sweet nothings in your ear. I know your type SIma " Vushu said.  " says the pantheress that likes to rub in the fact that she hasn't lost in sumo for 6 straight years " its not bragging if it is true" Vushu said, smacking Sima on the butt, and making Kovu drool from the way the lioness booty swung from side to side. ' like a perfect pendulum ' he grinned.

The door slid open just as Nick arrived. Mr. Bigmouth tucked his portable computer back into his messenger bag. He quickly ushered the two through the door before it closed itself.

"How'd you do that?" Tyrell asked in an awed whisper.

"I simply listened into the ship's electronics systems and found out the proper code hat way." Mr. Bigmouth looked around the engineering area. As was usual, it was clean but bland with signs on the wall indicating where the other parts of the ship were.

He turned to Nick. "I believe you shall lead us."

(Kaocho, Weyard)

"In this paddy?" one of the farmers asked, looking around. In the distance was the town gate. As was usual, it was tightly sealed and guarded by several Kaochoan guards who kept an eye out for anyone trying to sneak out.

[Nick22]

' you could try the ' family emergency' excuse ' Kopa said.to the farmers.' that wont work if too many have the same excuse'  agumina pointed out. we'll take these two, and be done with it. we'll have to come back later anyway." wait  the others have rescued all the other cities residents ' Tiger said those cities are led by reasonable people' Kopa said ' come on, lets head back to the ship. ' he said, waving the others to follow him.

 Nick drew Saba, and bid  Bigmouth and Tyrell follow him down the engineering area. this area had been damage as well, so that much of the area was dark. the enchantments on Saba gave off a clean light so that Nick could see a good distance in front of his face. " this area leads down to the holding cells, although they are separated into separate Areas- 5 of them. we'll need to find some  disguises  and pose as maintenance crews" Nick said to the others.

(Phoenix)

A small fireball formed in Tyrell's hand. "I say we just burn all the guards, bust Karis and Amiti out and be done with it!"

Mr. Bigmouth nodded. "Nick, do you have any of the passwords or other access control information still available? I might be able to upload that onto that computer I used to get in here."

The two farmers nodded and followed the group. They soon arrived at their ship and boarded without hesitation.

And not a moment too soon, shouting was heard in the distance as some Kaochoan guards had spotted the two farmers leaving with the emissaries.
