Best Games of 2010!

The new year is upon us! As such, it is time once again to look back on the games we thought were the best this year.

Remember that what you post is strictly your opinion and is in no way, shape or form actual fact. So, if someone picks something else, respect that choice and do not try to start a flame/bash/troll war over it.

I'll start with my choices. Understand though, there are some games that I never played, so they likely won't be on the list for that reason.

Best Wii Game - Super Mario Galaxy 2

Best XBox 360 Game - Mass Effect 2

Best DS Game - Professor Layton and the Unwound Future

Best Game of the Year - Mass Effect 2

Those are my choices and I'm sticking by them.

Best PS3/Xbox 360 game - Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow

Best DS game - Kingdom Hearts: 352/2 days

Best PSP game - Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

Best Game Of The Year - Uncharted 2

Red dead redemption for me.. although god of War 3 and Super Mario Galklaxy 2 were fun as well..

I really only played games for XBOX and DS, so I will only label these two systems.

Best XBOX 360 - Mass Effect 2

This was the game I was most excited for for 2010. I absolutely loved the first game, and this one does not disappoint. Sure mining planets for minerals became annoying after a while, and the powers/abilities were immensely scaled down, but these didn't hold it back to being an amazing game. The downloadable content keeps you coming back and really expands the story farther.

Honorable Mentions - Red Dead Redemption, Halo Reach, Call of Duty Black Ops

Best Nintendo DS - Golden Sun Dark Dawn

I have been waiting for this game for several years now, and I was overjoyed when I found out it was becoming a reality. After the long wait, I'm pleased to say that this game delivers in every aspect. It does not disappoint one bit from it's amazing two predecessors, and I will be playing this for a long time for sure.

PS3: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Xbox 360: Mass Effect 2 (I don't own a 360 but this is still an awesome game)
Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 2
PSP: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (KH: Birth By Sleep a very close 2nd)
DS: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
