At first Misty looked a bit confused trying to put a name with this individual...something about a strange fast biter she'd once bumped into seemed to want to be linked with this...but Misty was not quite sure. If this person knew her from when she was smaller maybe it made sense she couldn't quite place him.

"Uh...yeah, so long infact...remind me how I know you again?" the kid was really forthcoming with her ignorance.

Eitherway she put the slight mystery behind her, "I mean no offense, it's just...ever since loosing mom and dad everything's kinda been jumbled. Anyway, I guess one familiar face means I won't be eaten right" she guessed with a slight shrug and smile. "and...uh, yeah I grew alot...can take care of getting eggs myself and everything now". The young egg snatcher tried to sound as confident as she wanted to feel.

OOC: Ok, I told myself I wasn't going to start up a thread this newly into this forum and I really thought this would have been done before but...anyone curious about what would happen if John Hammond's Jurassic Park brought back our beloved gang (and any OC's you feel want in dino or human) and they got to explore that world!

Oh and for simplicities (but not best explained) sake, I'm going with the scientists brought the hatchlings (and adults accordingly) back as they were and there doesn't have to be re-hatching or anything.

Also do you guys want to swap off movie characters or assign? Up to discussion, using Ducky for this first post anyway.

BIC:

dark sky puffies filled the sky and she could feel the heat from the sky fire caused not long ago getting worse and worse. "Keep walking dear, we have to get beyond the rock wall to see if...", her mother's coughing fits stopped her from talking much more and the young swimmer simply kept a line of sight on both her and her siblings all walking towards one spot.

The voice cried out again. "This way folks, we'll be out soon...I'm sure". Littlefoots' grandfather's voice had hardly ever calmed her so much and she struggled to keep going even as she noticed a blob drop from the sky once more. "Oh Petrie!" the young swimmer rushed forward, hugging her friend who had fallen, "are the dark sky puffies making it hard for you to fly too?". All flyers had been having the same problem, she knew, as Petrie's youngest uncle Tylr and his little one, Kit soon followed, the adult landing a bit more gracefully than the young ones though...then came the horrible sound of all the smoking mountains apprently going off at once...

With deep pants, Ducky came out of her horrible nightmare that she could have sworn happned only a few moments ago...but now...as she looked around there was green grass and a blue sky once more and she heard the slight mutterings denoting dinosuars about somewhere but too far for their voiced to be understood.

All a dream? Was it really just that?! But wait...this was not the Great Valley...w-where were they.

"D-Ducky?" a voice said and the swimmer turned to find... "Kit!" she rushed forward to at lest the first familiar face present. She had to run past some cold black tree branches (cage bars)  she noticed, but hardly paid this much attention as she hugged her friend.

"Is Petrie here?" she next asked. "He's hiding behind one of those bushes, still scared" Kit answered. At the first sight of good news and normalcy once more, Ducky smiled.

Misty backed up as she was noticed, "Sorry..." she spoke regardless of if anyone could understand her, "I thought there might be eggs here, but even if there were I wouldn't take all of you on for it so...I'll just be going...".

As she backed up, Misty noticed a crawler crawling up the side of the wall. "Hey!" she looked glad fo this find and suddenly forgot alot of sharpteeth were about.

 She picked it up and put it in her mouth, flinching as a kid eating something bad would but swallowing the thing anyway. "The things I do when I can't fight parents for their eggs" she muttered to herself.

Just then Kit flapped over, having finally found the other kids. "Hey guys what...", Kit's sentence was cut short as the hit seed flew past her. She quickly darted behind a rock and then peeked her head out once the projectile wasn't a problem.

"Um...playing the seed game huh?" she asked, smile on her face despite being startled by the seed. After all, the others had not expected her to just fly over into the seed's path, so they weren't to blame.

Ok, this is a good and easy idea for explaining one's characters just in one place that you can point back to for reference in the different role plays.

Anyway, an official set up for my character who inspired my log in name

Name: Kit
Age: Um...7ish? or however old the gang of five are
Species: flyer
Relationships: only hatchling of her dad's brood and Petrie's cousin
Personality: Tends to be naive and a bit over trusting, yet not always and if Littlefoot thinks somethings up she will take notes on that and re-think her own thoughts on it.
Other: Description wise she's a dark brown in color with blue eyes and a lighter brown on the underside

Alright, here's here dad too

Name: Tylr
Age: youngest of Petrie's mom's brood, so...go off that I guess
Species: flyer
Relationships: I already said it. Youngest of Petrie's mom and Pterano's siblings.
Personality: Perhaps through being the youngest, a bit shy but will speak up when young one's, including his only hatchling, Kit, are in trouble or criticism. Similar thing with his boldness against sharpteeth and such, not the first to a fight unless others he knows and loves are in danger. Tylr also has a quiet sense of humor and won't state that he finds some if not alot of Mr.Threehorn's tantrums amusing in their repetitiveness. Respects Grandpa and Grandma Longneck and even Mr. Threehorn as the ultimate authority in the Council discussions since they are the elders (the longnecks a bit more so though). The only authority he would put above this is his own sister's opinion if it contracts, which it rarely does.
Other: a teal blue/green color with a lighter actual blue underneath and bright blue eyes.

Do you prefer doing fc's, or your own original characters or a mix of the 2, or depends?

By fc do you mean fan character? What I get your asking is do I prefer working with movie characters or just original or a mix of those?

Off that question, I'd say a mix most times. I don't want to cut out the wonderful movie characters or anything
