I'm stuck! If Stardust doesn't come up with anything, a clue is appreciated!

<Honestly, I'm not sure what clue should I give...
These clue posts:

contain all clues I can give.

You already found all items or room objects. You have all items or room objects at hand to solve the puzzle. You have to open the box.

Please, try to come up with something, reading these posts and analyzing every item you have in your inventory and every room objects you have around. :)>

Not sure if this has been done before or not, but can Mr. Stick allow the blank paper to get an ample out of light, then check it in the darkness to see if there's a hidden message like on the walls?

Maybe leave the metal rod in the hole and then examine the other holes, see if any of them have turned into pushable buttons.

If nothing changes, check both sides of the metal rod to ensure they're the same. If they aren't, it might matter what end of the rod is stuck in the hole

Just reading through the thread again to catch up on what all I missed since I last played.
:ChomperPOG

I know this sounds crazy, but I say we push the red button.

Cache button is red again, after metal rod was removed from hole. Green button allowed him to open passage to lower room, but now he wonders what red button does...

As mr. Stick stated before, he likes green color more than red.
For some reason... red colored buttons make mr. Stick shiver a very little...
Or maybe he overplayed and overwatched a lot of action games and movies, where red color is "bad color".

He made his decision and presses the button...

...

Nothing happens.

Maybe red color means that button is just deactivated.

Lol! I was on page 5 and I noticed that the red button was never pushed, and that was going to be my next suggestion because I still wanted to know what it did. But Little Bro beat me to it. :P

But anyway, I'll wait and see what happens next with Flathead and aabicus before I make my next move.

Mr. Stick checks paper with simbols for signs of hidden messages...

He can't find any.

Mr. Stick inspects thin metal rod from all angles.

Both sides of the rod look the same.

Mr. Stick isn't sure what exact hole he should insert the rod into, since there's three fitting holes, so he decides to insert thin metal rod in all possible holes two times, trying both sides, to check if there's something new.

[long process ends]

Nothing new. No more buttons was found. Holes didn't transform into buttons or something else.

Just for the sake of convenience, I'm listing Mr Stick's current inventory right here:
- big blank sheet of paper
- flashlight (without batteries)
- long thin rubber tube
- thin metal rod
- long metal stick with screw at the end
- strange looking tool, can be used as screwdriver
- small paper with strange symbols on it
- strong metal box
- two small batteries (their energy is almost empty)

Any chance that the long metal stick with the screw at the end could be used to pry open the rivets on the metal box?

No, long metal rod's ends can't unscrew rivets, or remove them with physical force.

Bring up a picture of the inventory items please? Seeing what each of them looks like may help.

The fifth item from the left, that long metal thing. Can that be used to pry off the rivets at all?

No. Seems mr. Stick can't remove rivets with physical force, using any of items from inventory. He tried.

How about the fourth item from the left? Can that be used to screw off the rivets or pry open the box in any way?

So, metal rod can't help as well.

I'm stumped then. I'm not sure what else to try.

I should open the box. Without physical force, using items from my inventory. Or with any force, using room objects. Or combination of inventory items and room objects.

Try to imagine: how something strong and metal can be opened, damaged or destroyed? No matter what - box or something else.

OK, so Mr. Stick cannot open the box with brute force, gravity, or items from the inventory. Since it is made of metal, do we have something in the room that could be used as a powerful magnet?

If not, can we somehow use the batteries and the metal rod to create a current between them and give the box an electric shock? I doubt we can heat it up to the point where it will melt haha. No idea if that will do anything :P

Powerful magnet? hmm... Not bad idea.
But it has to be a reeeeeeeealy powerful magnet, as mr. Stick thinks. Since all box's sides are connected together with rivets very tight.

But where he can find such magnet here?..

<Mr. Stick wants to say - YOU have to find where we can get this magnet. :P
if there is any.>

hmm.. melting the box - not bad idea as well.

But, like with magnet, it has to be a lot of heat and electricity to make box be affected enough. Mr. Stickis afraid that with two ALMOST EMPTY 1,5V or so batteries he can't do such procedure.

Plus, he doesn't work well with electricity, and probably he would refuse to perform such home-made experiments without good protection, if he had some super overpowered batteries.
