Roger Rabbit looked around as he put the finishing touches on the party tables placed out among the woodlands. Everything was ready down to drinks and the tiki torches. All that was missing now were additional foodstuffs (to be brought by those attending). Roger had made certain to take much booze out of the Disney animation house to satisfy the guests...no point in having a party without the drink.
"Guests never arrive on time," he muttered, taking out a lighter and tipping one of the tiki torches towards him to light it. Only thing he wasn't doing was watching what he should have been doing as some citronela liquid streamed out from the container as he was putting a match to the wick and watching the tables.....

Mim arrived in her usual way, carrying some things that she had brought to the party. She saw Roger and said, "Hello." She put the various foods she had brought onto the table in a good place with lots of room for others to put their things down as well. She went looked around a bit to see who else would be arriving and was glad she wasn't late.

Aves wondered in carrying a box of donuts and a huge bag of firecrackers. He looked around at the scene
"Nobody told me it'd be wooded around here" he said frowning at the forest surrounding and then at his expensive firework collection

Mim looked over at the new arrival. "Hello." She said. She looked over what he had brought. "Best to look for a clearing to shoot them up, and have some bare dirt around to prevent fires." She said. "Here you can put that stuff here." She said indicating the plenty of space next to where she had put her stuff.
(ooc: I didn't say what she brought since I wasn't sure and also it lets folks imagine for themselves. It could easily be a mix of foods.)

"Meh" said Aves, and he set the items down where Mim had suggested "I'm sure all will be good once things are figued out. Now, I'm just stared!"
The fox grabbed a donut from his box and started munching away on it as if new years couldn't come fast enough for the grand celebration feast.

Nim arrived now at the party too. "HELLOO everybody".

Mim Smiled and waved, "Come on and join the party." She said motioning Nim over after she was done waving.

Roger was so startled that he dropped both the tiki torch and the lighter..on his foot. "Jeepers! That almost killed me!" :P:
Returning the torch to its orginal place, he wandered over to Nim, Aves and Mim. "Welcome welcome! Nobody is gonna bother us here, that's why I chose it," he said grinning.
Picking up a firework, he inspected it. "Oooh, I didn't think of bringing these. P-p-please can we fire off one now?" Without waiting for a response, he ran away from the table, firecracker in one gloved hand, and the lighter in the other. "Whoohoo, this is gonna be a bang!" The wick was on fire and sparkling in no time.

Nim looked with a small smile to Aves and mim. "eeeh, wait for me Roger I want to see it too!!!. He run to roger and was excited, very excited.

Aves blinked seeing Roger going buck crazy over the firecrackers and saw that several were lit before anyone could ever even realize it
"Hoo boy, who invited the looney bunny guy?"
just as Aves had made this comment several of the bottlerockets shot up into the trees and popped and fizzled about wildly

Mim watched them go off. "The fireworks will be very interesting to watch later, thanks for bringing them.

Ah well, aren¥t fireworks for the sky and not for trees? Nim asked with a look to Roger and began to laugh

Roger laughed wildly as the firecrackers exploded out of his hands and into the sky. They sped past tree branches, breaking some in the process as they fell around the tables and guests.
"Haha, maybe that wasn't the best place to do that," he said sheepishly, grabbing a towel and trying to wipe the black powder off of his hands. He wandered over to Mim. "What did you bring with you anyway? You didn't tell us."

Nim was going over to the desk and ate some chips. He looked over to Mim, than to Roger.

Dunno, it doesn¥t really seems to be a party nim thought. What¥s about music he asked.

Mim indicated the large container she brought, "It's a collection of various party type foods. I wasn't exactly sure what to bring so I thought a bit of each of different types may be best." She said.

Mim, you are genious. Let¥s see what you have. Ah, before I forget... Nim was going to search in his bag. Here are some Batteries for tonight. That will become a very great silvester.

Mim looks at Nim, "Good thinking, think the batteries will last? Did you bring some sort of music player?" She reaches over to pick up something to snack on.

Starfall came crashing in, as usual since he had gotten his mechanical body and Battlesuit. Dante and Sieg were close behind.
"Sorry I'm late, gang! Traffic was utter chaos, as usual..." Starfall said, grinning the best he could at the time.
"Sublte would have been nice, fool..." Sieg said, shaking his head and staring at the ground...
"We brought food and... Oh Hi Mim!" Dante laughed as he spun over to say hello to his friend."
"And my suit has a music system." Starfall said, noting the lack of music being played...

hey, that¥s cool starfall, cause I haven¥t got one with me. I just have something to eat, he packed out some snacks and put it on the table, and the batteries.

OCC: I don¥t know if I write one more time here, cause it¥s two hours before the new year here. And my parents say that I have to finish in some minutes. Mayby after we celebrate I can join this rpg a second time, but I am not sure at all, sorry ...

Mim waves to the others "Hello, Hello Dante. Looks like there will be quite a few here for the party, and good thing your suit plays music." She says, finishing her snack she was holding in her hand. "There is plenty of room on the table." She says, moving if necessary for them to place their food on the table.

Aves was seated at one of the tables snacking away when suddenly he was tackled by two smaller foxes, a boy and a girl
"Uncle Aves!"
"Gah!" ghasped Aves "Timothy and Nicole? What de heck are you doing here?!?"
"Daddy brought us here!"
Aves groaned and looked up, surely enough his brother in law was there, wearing his stupid looking chef's hat and holding a large pan of some burnt lump that might had been edible at some point in time.
The tall red fox looked about the place at all the strangers and he smiled all goofy like and tipped his chef's hat
"Hullo, my name is Nicholas Kitsune... I uh.. brought some roast beef!"

ooc: Unfortunately this will be my last reply before 2008...got invited to a party. This role play will continue as I said all day January 1st so even if we all go somewhere or something it'll be continued tomorrow.
Roger stared at the music system for a familiar song when noticing the additional approaching foxes. "Yaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh," he screamed, "its the toon patrol!" He went and hid behind Aves, worried. "Alright, don't move or you uncle gets it," he said, holding a banana to his throat.

Tim walks in the door casually. Upon seeing Roger's...uh... situation, he chuckles to himself while unloading his backpack full of snacks and drinks.
He grabs the banana from Roger's hands and begins to eat it, smiling.
"Hey gang, what'd I miss?", he enthusiastically asks his fellow partymates between bites.

Mim waves to the new arrivals, "Hello, and not much missed but a firework being set off." She said. "Looks like this party is getting fairly large." She said. Laughing a bit at some of the funny goings on.

Timothy and Nichole looked around curiously at the diferent characters that were apart of the party. Their curiosity kept them busy while Aves had gone to rant at Nicholas
"You tried to cook again?!? Don't you ever learn that your cooking is downright horrid?!?"
"Oh hush!" said Nick, he was trying to pull a grill out from the back of his van
"Oh no..." said Aves looking astounded at Nicholas "you didnt bring a grill, did you?!? Oh god, we're doomed!"

Aiming to break the tension, Tim thinks quickly:
"Who's up for karaoke??" :D :lol
OOC: I'm heading out to my party soon. I may have a chance for one post after this but that's it.

Mim looks aver at Tim, "Karaoke? That sounds like it could be fun." She said.

Longtial comes crashing through the tree tops and said "I am! And I brought POPCORN!" He finished falling through the trees and landed on his head and laughed as he looked up and said "Hello everyone! I wanna party!"

"Good, lets start the party then. Popcorn is always welcome." Mim said.

Yes!" cried Longtail as he bagan to break dance across the floor of the room and accidently bumped the table sending the sour cream falling onto his head, causing him to laugh and licked some up with his tounge.

Mim smiled, laughing a bit. "You want a napkin to clean that off or some small snacks to put it onto?" She asked.

Nick strolled into the clearing, avioding some burning debris from the fireworrks. Hello eveeryone.. hope i'm not too late for the party" He said smiling at the gathered assemble.
(OOC It's 6 minutes to midnight where i live)

Its offically 2008 by me.. happy New year everyone.. I have to work at 2:30 tommorow, but i should be able to play with you guys for bit tommrow..

It's new year's in western Canada so I'll bet most people here have seen Midnight by now! Happy new year everyone! :D :D

Roger took the microphone by the karaoke machine, and selected a song out of the playlist. "This'll make your hair grow," he laughed. Surprisingly on key, and bouncing around with the wireless mic, and jumping around other party members, he starting singing:
"Young man, there's no need to feel down, I said young man! Get your feet off the ground....", and grabbed others hands to move along as the disco beat thumped loudly in the forest. "I expect you all to do the little dance move in the middle!"

Starfall and Sieg looke at each other and sighed.
"Dance? In this thing? I doubt that'll work..." Starfall sighed.
"I don't dance." Sieg groaned...

Mim joined in the singing and dancing, at least as best as she could, not being a professional singer nor dancer she still had lots of room to improve.

"Its fun to stay at the YMCA!!!"

Longtail continued to break dance across the floor this time being careful about where he was going while he did so. He then began to feel hungry so he looked around to find the popcorn he had brought with him and hoping to find a microwave, but seeing Aves brother in law pulling out a grill was the next best thing!
He ran over shouting "Hey! Can you make popcorn on that thing?"

Mim continued singing and dancing, though she paused at Longtail's question for a moment to say, "With the correct stuff I'm sure you can." She said then she went back to her singing and dancing. She was glad she had learned some dance steps from The Tourist and yellowbellies.
