(backed up my OC's ages and so thus added one. When I find Character profile again I'll put her info up)
The young Whistling Swimmer, for one of the things they were called at times, with the single rounded crest to her head that aided in the whistling type tunes that gave them that name, squinted as she looked out over the horizon.
"Yep, they're still there".
The young swimmer, Lily, was in her early teens same as her other two...friends, Tylr and Cree. She hesitated since she would call Tylr a friend, the flyer's only other brood mate of what had apparently been the last brood of their parents, his brother, Cree, she wasn't so sure of.
It made sense for why that, still titled the worse earth shake of ever, had robbed the two boys of their parents since the two elder flyers other children were old enough to have children of their own. Cree was saved from being the youngest of all only by Tylr himself, though he acted tough enough to take down a grown sharptooth and acted as if he despised Tylr.
Lily was pretty sure these were both acts.
Now, the early teens flyer laying claim to an entire territory was not so faked. It was just low vegetation near the Big Water, but Cree had decided, since it was uninhabited when the three 'kids' stumbled upon it, that it was theirs and, by definition of his being in charge in the group of just the three of them, his.
This worked since Tylr would never challenge his brother and just went with whatever he said. Lily just rolled her eyes and let the flyer have at it.
This had been challenged, though, when an actual herd of adults came through to claim the land in the midst of problems at their home of the Great Valley.
One of Cree and Tyler's afore mentioned, much older siblings which kids of their own being in the group just seemed to irk Cree more.
They hadn't been kicked out or anything, their sister, who they met once, briefly, before the Great Earthshake, had simply explained the situation and...Cree had been forced to pretend to give in since he didn't want to face any of the other adults, let alone the very mean looking old Threehorn the group had.
"It's not fair!" he cried, "we've been using that land for a very long time, and then just 'cause they're actual adults they get to come through and steal it!".
"Cree, the Great Valley's got problems" Tylr argued, "and plus Tera (name proposed for Petrie's mom) and her kids are in the group, we couldn't turn them away!".
Lily frowned, "That is rather a sad thought, though, the Great Valley having problems, it's suppose to be...well Great".

Meanwhile, having arrived later with his friends and unaware there was a brooding teenager related to him on the patch of land (or right outside technically) at all, Petrie was...wel hesitating at Ducky's new game really.
"Petrie!" Ducky called to the flyer from one the small pools this land had apart from the Big Water, "come on , jump in, it is deep, it isn't, it isn't, and even if you do sink I will catch you!" she said brightly.
From the rock he was on, about to either jump in or not jump in the water, Petrie frowned deeper at this last part, "But...what if you no catch me in time...".

Meanwhile, a threehorn sat down and was watching the whole scene unfold in front of her as she scoffed some "Makes me glad I don't have a family....adults being all pushy to get what they want, sisters and brothers to argue about...bleh...." she spoke with her tounge being poked out in the process.
Her name was Skye, she had no family in the Great Valley, she was one who was all alone, however, that's what she didn't seem to mind, she was rather happy to be a one dinosaur herd....well, that's what she continued to believe anyway...granted she was still young, around the same age as Cera and the rest of the gang.
She looked over at Cree and the others, but yet, she gave off a small shrug as she continued to sit where she was, well, that was until she stood up and went to get herself some green food....until another dinosaur rushed in and started to eat from where she was going to eat from. Skye gave off a bit of an annoyed groan "Hey! That's my green food!" however, she was left ignored as she grumbled to herself.

Spike looked up at Skye and even with a mouth full of treestars grumbled out an apology, then turned around and went right back to eating the shrub without missing a single beat.
Cera was lying next to the pond Ducky and Petrie were in and she sighed before speaking up. "It's so boring around here! I wish something would happen to make it more fun! Geez...I haven't been this bored since we were on that mystery island Chomper calls a home."

Skye looked over to Spike and what he was eating and actually decided to be rude enough and push him out of the way to get a bite to eat herself as she begun to much away at what green food she could get her paws on.
However, as she ate, she remained quiet, completely ignoring the fact that Spike was still around, she was just hungry at the moment and needed something to eat.

Cree'd been about to just blow this younger kid off, when he realized she agreed with him. That gave her point. "Yeah, it's highly annoying!" he agreed.
Tylr and Lily sighed. "Don't mind our moody friend here" Lily said, "Hi, I'm Lily and this is Tylr", the other flyer waved, "and the brooding one is Cree" Lily smirked.
Cree stuck his tongue out at his friend, "I'm just saying...".
Just then their point was proven as Skye, seeming to move on to get something to eat, was interrupted.
"See! See!" Cree almost seemed to squawk like flyers could at times, as he stood and pointed, "See, kid and even pretty much adults (Tylr laughed at his brother claiming they were near adulthood in anyway) like us just can't get a break here!" he pointed to the stocky spiketail kid.
"Ah Cree he's a kid" Tylr said. Both he and Lily frowned and just watched as Luna pushed the other kid out of the way.
"Well, if they do start a fight that could be fun to watch" Cree smiled as he whispered. Lily and Tylr both frowned at his saying such a thing.

"Well..." Littlefoot tried to figure out Cera's logic, "Then...this place being bigger should be more fun" he smiled at his attempt before going on, "Look Cera I know...it's not the Great Valley, but the grown ups said it should only be a short time longer before the Great Valley's green again".
Granted, they had only been here a short time and Littlefoot thought they were just saying that, but still.
"You could tell Ducky I no jump" Petrie offered for something to do.
"Oh Petrie" Ducky sighed, realizing her friend didn't want to jump at all, "you can ask Spike, he is a spiketail and swims all the time, and it is not so bad, it isn't".
This, made her look around for her brother, "Spike?" she called, "where did you goed?"

Diver (one of Ducky's twins) and her 2 friends Mia (a maiasaur), and Rhyn (a type of flyer like Rinkus) surfaced. They had been diving to get some underwater food and floated on the surface as they ate.
"This is certainly better then all that walking in all those dry places." Diver said. "it certainly is."
"& better tasting then that funny tasting water." Rhyn said before she started to eat some of her underwater green food, having been taught how to swim by Diver during their travel together when they had gotten separated from their families by the great earth shake. Though they had, luckily, been on the same side instead of being on the other side like Littlefoot & the others had been when the earthshake split the earth.
"At Dion will be ok." Mia said, referring to the young friendly fastbiter they had met during their trip together who had helped them to find their families by following their scent before joining up with his family and herd who lived near the great valley, or flattooth valley as they called it.
"Certainly since the leaf gobblers do not eat fish so he and his herd will have plenty to eat, certainly they all will." Diver said.

Skye continued to eat the green food in the bush that she had pushed Spike away from as she grumbled a little to herself as well "Stupid leaf gobblers eating all our green food in the Great Valley" she spoke to herself as she looked back at Spike "What are you looking at?" she asked him as she swallowed the food in her mouth before walking off to another area and flopping down onto her stomach.
"This is so boring!" Skye complained, rolling onto her side as well for a moment or two before rolling over onto her other side, then onto her back before sitting up with a groan as she watched the adults eat before looking over at Cree, Lily and Tylr "And what are you lot looking at?"
She paused for a moment before deciding to stand up and walk over to the three of them before sitting back down, now a few feet away from them "Only reason I'm here is....probabally the same reason as you are, the Great valley having no more green food, and probabally will never have green food ever again, all because of those stupid leaf gobblers....you're probabally going to be stuck wandering around forever, eating what green food you can" Skye told them as she had indeed, refeered to just them and not herself, keeping herself out of the argument as she had her own little plan in her mind, one that might work, but probabally wouldn't.

Lily and Tylr immediately turned from looking at Skye as she asked this, but Cree was unphased and just shrugged, "Just seeing if a fight was gonna ensue".
"Oh no, we're not wrapped up with that Great Valley lot" Cree waved a wing, "found this place all on our own after that giant earthshake everyone talks about".
"Though...I'm kinda hoping the Great Valley does fix since, yeah, I'd sort of like to go live there with our sister and all", Tylr didn't say they were going to point blank, since that depended on Cree and Tylr wouldn't ever abandon his brother if he did chose not to go, and right now it was looking like he might just chose that.
"But I'm sure it will fix again" Lily said optimistically, "why are you so sure it won't?" She asked Skye.

"You see, Petrie, Rhyn swims" Ducky used her sister's friend as an example". Petrie just frowned, but it did seem to work, making him feel worse if another flyer could pick this up. "You...sure you catch me...?" he asked. "Oh yes yes yes" Ducky smiled. "Ok..." Petrie took a deep breath and jumped, landing like a stone in the water yet then bobbing back up. "See?!" Ducky grinned, holding onto her friend just in case, "it's fun!". Petrie coughed water.

"Oh, nothing much" the threehorn begun "Just for the fact that when there was that first earthshake, there was hardly any green food around, only the Great Valley had heaps of green food, but look around you, I mean, aren't you certain that by now, green food should be everywhere? But instead, there's just sticks and twigs mostly....you just got lucky to find green food yet again"
Of course, Skye was just being negative, which was one of her traits as she didn't believe that the Great valley would be able to recover herself, she was only going by what she had seen "I mean, I hould know, I spent some time away from the Great Valley....doing....other stuff" she wasn't going to mention the part about finding her family at the moment "And while I was away, there was hardly any green food around"

Diver and her 2 friends floated on the top of the water on their backs as they ate their green food looking up into the sky and some of the surroundings and other folks nearby as well.

Mim was eating while walking around, seeing what different sorts of things that there were to eat that were not the same as in the great valley and somethings she had maybe seen before but not for a while.

Littlefoot merely frowned at the other group near them. He couldn't help but overhear their complaining about their presence here, but there was nothing they could do about it. "Hey guys, do you think we should try and make friends with them? I mean, by the looks of it they aren't happy to see us, but maybe if we can convince them that there is enough here for all of us to share we can be friends." To be honest, Littlefoot still felt a bit guilty about him and his friends ending up where they were. Had they not run off in the first place, the grownups wouldn't have gone searching for them, and they would have never been reunited here.

Chomper continued to chase the flying buzzer as it weaved in and out between trees and bushes. It hadn't been long since Littlefoot and his friends left the island, and already he was getting lonely. He figured the best thing to keep his mind off of them was food, but even this wasn't helping. He eventually decided to give up chasing and sat against a rock. "I miss them already," he said to himself. "I hope they found their folks. I hope I see them again soon."

The young threehorn looked over to Littlefoot next, watching him mouth something away, well....she was too far from him to actually hear what he was saying as she let off a small groan and decided to approach the longneck, yet, she looked back to Cree and the other two and shook her head a little bit as well.
Skye approached Littlefoot and sat down a few feet away from him...something she seemed to be used to doing, sitting a few feet away from others, yet, she just shrugged it off without a care and spoke to him straight away "So, what are you lot doing here? Given up hope on the Great Valley as well? All thanks to the leaf gobblers? I mean, I for one, I just had to leave when they swamed in and ate all the green food we had in the valley....had to find some more green food for myself.....and don't mention my parents, they don't care about what happens to me" she spoke up, deciding not to mention what had actually happened to them.

Littlefoot shook his head. "We haven't given up on the Great Valley, but the swarming leaf goppers ate all our food too. Our parents decided we had to leave and find some place else." He hesitated before continuing. "It's kind of a long story, but my friends and I are the reason why we are here." He then realized that this was probably the best time to try and make friends with the others, so he shook his head and smiled. "My name's Littlefoot by the way. What's yours?"

At first, the threehorn said nothing as Littlefoot introduced himself to her "Skye" she finally spoke in introducing herself "I guess you're like...me....I....er I mean, my parents....decided to leave the Great Valley too, like I was saying, because of those stupid leaf gobblers, eating all y food up, best desicion I had made I think at the tie"
Of course, Skye had more or less contradicted what she had said, saying that it was her parents desicion first, then that it was her own desicion seconds later, something she didn't even realize that she had done....she was just more or less attempting to lie, but seemed to be failing as she did so.

Spike sighed after hearing everyones' conversations about the Great Valley. He gathered up several piles of leaves, and nudged a pile over to Skye with a friendly smile. He then mumbled as if to say, 'This is for you...I'm sorry I stole your food earlier.' He then turned to Ducky and walked into the water and began laughing as he started swimming around and having fun.
Cera sighed at Littlefoot, and Ducky's suggestions. She laid her head down again and replied, "It was more fun on Chomper's island...at least there the game hide and seek had an all new twist."

Littlefoot nodded. "Yeeah, I know what you mean. My friends and I were so worried that we were going to be split up because of our parents' decision, which is kind of why we took matters into our own hands." Littlefoot then looked at Cera. Yeah, the twist was there were threen sharpteeth there that wanted to have us for dinner. Although, I do wonder how Chomper is doing."

"Maybe you can go for a visit." Diver said looking over where Littlefoot was from where she was.

As Skye went on, Lily frowned, her argument making a bit of sense since even after they found this place they hadn't traveled much themselves. "Well..." she tried to come up with some other reason it would probably be ok, but couldn't think of one so she broke off.
As Skye walked off, Lily turned back to her friends, "I...I don't think the whole world's gotta be dead or anything" she said.
Tylr smiled, "No, there's probably food somewhere, just not near enough to be of use" he said, him and Lily trying to stay positive.
Cree had just sighed and stood in that way that Tylr knew meant his brother was bored and about to leave, so he decided to halt that with a sudden idea.
"Come on" he started, quite boldly actually, half pushing Cree over towards where the kids were, "Come on, the little flyer there's apparently one of Tera's so we're gonna introduce ourselves".
"I don't wan--Tylr let up!" Cree shoved his brother back, but Tylr just smiled after stumbling back. Lily giggled to herself, "Come on boys, Tylr's got the right idea.
She walked over as well.
Petrie had just smiled shyly at Skye's approach and turned to Cera at what she said, "Um, me no like the no get eat twist" he frowned.
He then noticed the other three approach, and especially since they were older teens and Hyp and his friends had built in a nervousness of older kids into Petrie.
"Hi" Lily smiled, "We figured it'd be rude to sit over there when you kids noticed us anyway and not introduce ourselves, I'm Lily".
She decided to let the boys take it from there, so Tylr smiled, "Hi I'm Tylr and, since my brother probably won't introduce himself, that's Cree" he indicated the other yellow flyer who just gave a half-hearted, "Hey".
"We're uh...kinda your grandparents last brood there" he told Petrie, understanding if the little flyer found it odd since he still found it odd his parents had other kids that much older than him. From gossip he'd heard the little three horn with Petrie was in the same lake ((boat)) though.
The little flyer looked like he was thinking, "Oh...maybe that what my mom trying to tell me 'bout other family". It had been a brief conversation and Petrie hadn't grabbed up most of it.

Littlefoot nodded. "Yeah I guess, but I think already sneaking away has gotten us in some trouble. I'd rather not put my grandparents through that again." He then looked over at Lily who introduced herself and the others."I'm Littlefoot, and these are my friends. Cera, Ducky, Petrie, and Spike. I hope we aren't intruding too much here."

One thing Skye was glad of was that none of them had actually figured out her backstory yet, which is how she wanted to keep it for now. She glancd over at Spike whom had bought her green food, yet, said nothing to him, not even a simple thank you as she looked back to Littlefoot.
"Heh, yeah, parents can be rather annoying and bossy, so glad I don't listen to anyone...." Skye paused for a second as she looked at them "Too bad you guys aren't like me....I mean, me listning to no one at all, it's all just me" she added on rather proudly.
"Er, I mean.....my family as well...." Skye added on again, this time, with a small nervous sounding laugh as well, still doing what she could to keep up her lie she had going on, even if the lie wasn't going so well anymore "Yeah, that's right, my....family is....around here.....somewhere...." however, she stepped back a little bit and turned away from the group and moved a few more feet away from them.

Diver shrugged.
"You could always sneak away at night." Mia said as she looked over at the group with Littlefoot. She and her friends did at times to go and visit with their fastbiter kid friend Deon, when the night circle was in a certain phase. They had gotten pretty good at it.
"There is that choice." Rhyn said, "Or you can just forget the whole thing too." Rhyn said.

"Yeah I guess," Littlefoot agreed with Diver. "But I'd still have to find a way to get to the island. I mean, I'm no swimmer, and Elsie is probably gone for good. Unless I can grow in size very quickly, I might be stuck over here." He then noticed how shy Skye seemed to be. Something seemed odd about her, but he didn't want to press upon it. Maybe I'll ask her some other time.

Chomper had found yet another flying buzzer to chase, and this one he finally caught. "That was not as spicy as before," he licked his claws, "but still good." He laughed to himself. "Littlefoot and the others would be so grossed out right now if they were here. Then again, I don't understand how they eat that green stuff. It's so disgusting."

After she had moved a bit away from them, she sat back down onto the ground with a slight grumble as well "I guess it's good that they don't know at the moment...." Skye spoke to herself before laid down upon the ground with a bit of a sigh as well.
Her back was indeed, turned away from everyone else, as for now, she was alone, something she didn't seem to mind, as it was something she was rather used to by now.

"Maybe I can fly over there and give him a message." Rhyn said as she got out of the water along with Mia and Diver.
"That Elsie person may be certainly hard to find if she is not here. Certainly harder if she is underwater." Diver said.

Cera couldn't sleep with everyone talking at once, so she stood up and against her own instincts stepped over to Skye. "Hey...your name was Skye right? Well...nothing personal, but you need to loosen up a bit. I was like you once, and only listened to what I thought was right, but after getting separated from my family by the earthshake I realized that being on my own wasn't as great as I thought. So I guess being able to do what you want might be fun for a while, but being with a group of friends, or family is usually the best thing..." she trailed off in case Skye wanted to respond.
Spike had found some underwater green food and taken to eating it rather than swim. After eating his fill he stepped out of the water and smiled. He then sniffed the air and looked around knowing that the scent smelled new and unfamiliar.

"Well, you have a choice, you actually have friends, you have a family....me? I have nothing" Skye snapped back at Cera almost instantly before stopping, looking away from the other threehorn "Sorry, I uh....I didn't mean to snap like that...."
At first, she didn't say anything, as if to wait for Cera to say something, but instead, decided to say something else herself first as she took a deep breath "It's just that....my family's gone....it was in the great earthshake, I mean, after that had happened, I too went to the Great valley to try and find them, but they were there....I then left to search for them, but didn't find them anywhere....and I just realized that they were....dead....and I've been on my own ever since then...."
"You're just lucky....you have people to care for you....I don't...." Skye trailed off and rolled over away from Cera by that point.

"Well..." Cree began to Littlefoot saying he hoped they weren't intruding.
"Not at all" Lily cut him off and assured, "it is a big place after all and teens like us don't have any claim or anything to a whole land", she was talking more to Cree than the kids whom she said this too really.
She just, along with Tylr and Cree, listened to the kid's try to decide how to get over to someone named Chomper.
"Oh yes" Ducky agreed with her sister, "and there is lots of Big Water for her to be in, there is, there is" she told the others, "but I'm she did say she would visit, maybe it will be soon" she went on hopefully.
"Wait" it was Cree who spoke as he listened to the kids, "are you lot all trying to get over to that island with sharpteeth on it? Why would you do that?"
Before any of the kids had to answer, Tylr put his wing up to his beak, thinking, "Nah..." he said.
"What?" Lily asked.
Tylr sort of laughed, "I was just wondering if maybe I could help, if they want to get to this island anyway, with flying some of them over but except for Petrie and Ducky there I don't think it would work".
"No I guess not" Lily smiled, "We're not full grown yet...but...well I wouldn't want you kids searching the Big Water or anything, but...well I'm older, and I can hold my breath a bit, maybe I could see if I can't find this Elsie for you" she offered.
"Though, like Cree said, I should really ask you why you want to get to a sharptooth island, but I won't" she smiled, "Sounds like you kid have it under control anyway"
Petrie smiled, "Wow, you all nothing like Hyp and other big kids!" was the first thing he said.

Littlefoot nodded in agreement. "You're right Petrie. These guys don't seem to be bullies at all." He looked back at Lily. "I know it sounds crazy, but this sharptooth is younger than us, and he's our friend. We got stuck out on the land in the big water, but Chomper helped us out. I also raised him when he was just a hatchling, so you can say I have history with him." But to Lily's request, he shook his head. "The big water is really dangerous. There's a swimming sharptooth out there, and I don't want to risk anybody for our sake. But thank you for offering to help us."

"Just him him with a big stick. That calmed Hyp down the last time he tried to bother us." Mia said.
"Or just tell her older brother and he'll wrastle with them." Rhyn said.
"Yea, that was funny to watch." Mia said, laughing at the memory a bit.
"I don't know about sharpteeth, but not all fastbiters are mean. Most certainly are but not all. Certainly not." Diver said, thinking & remembering Deon and his family and herd. "And not all older kids are bullies, certainly not."
"Some can be nice." Mia said, "My older brother is only a bully to bullies."

Littlefoot laughed. "I don't think I want to hurt Hyp though, and I really don't think I'd be able to reach his head even if I tried. He is bigger than us, but then again he hasn't really bothered us too much after the water incident." Trying to start conversation, he looked towards Lily. "So how long have you guys been here? I know we just got here and we didn't expect to find any other kids around."

"Quite a while" Lily answered, "though even though all that it hasn't always been empty, herds would move through, just not as big as yours" she smiled.
Tylr nodded, "We were with our own parents and younger, actual kids ourselves when the earth shake hit too and Cree and I were left on our own before we met up with Lily here who'd also lost her parents".
Lily nodded "I remember even among my old herd the Great Valley was talked of, but...none of us were heading that way and to be honest sort of doubted it existed".
"Yeah and plus what chance did three kids like us on our own have of finding it, so we just wandered for something and luckily stumbled upon this land and set up here".
"Me being the one who found it" Cree bragged, though he was still trying to give these kids who's parents had intruded in (sister included or not) the cold shoulder.
It still being hard for Petrie to put two and two together and realize these two teen flyers were his uncles, since he hadn't even met Cera's own similarly younger than her niece and nephew of Dinah and Dana yet to help with the concept, he nonetheless was intrigued by being related to them somehow and even if the yellow teen flyer seemed to be brooding and refusing to talk much, he paid great attention to Tylr and his friend's story, finding the last bit interesting.
"Oh, but that what Littlefoot do" he offered with a small smile, "he help all of us find Great Valley, even when Cera get us all turned round-ed". Petrie glanced about nervously for their three horn friend after saying this, and was relieved to find Cera wasn't there at the moment.
"Really?" Tylr looked at the younger kid in surprised.
"You must have a good sense of direction" Lily praised with a smile.

Littlefoot gave off a nod back "Yes, that's true, it was my mother who had told me the way to the Great valley, and I knew that deep down in my heart, that she was right, even if Cera wouldn't believe me to begin with"
However, he too had a look around as well, seeing that Cera was over with Skye at the moment, seeing that Skye wasn't really talking too much as he looked back to the others "And, just ignore what Skye said, the Great Valley will become green again, you've just got to believe it that it will"

Skye sighed some as she rolled back over, seeing that Cera hadn't left her alone "Oh....you're still here?" she asked with a slight grumble as well, but sighed again having taken that small amount of time out to think a little bit "And, I guess I'm sorry for snapping like that just before...."

Diver nodded, "It will get green again. It certainly will. It just needs time." Diver said as she looked at the others.

Meanwhile, while all of the usual Valley inhabitants are talking amongst themselves in their temporary setting, a couple of new faces walk through the parched barren desert. A green One-Horn and a young, pink Fast-Runner are seen trudging through the unfavorable conditions. The adult dinosaur seems tired, but persistent; however, the child is not so lively. She falls over the hind legs of the larger companion, complaining. "Kel, I'm so tired! When are we going to get there? We've been walking around for ages!"
"I know, I know. But Blossom you have to understand that it takes patience; if it's taking us this long to get to the Great Valley then it's got to be worth it, right?"
"I guess. Well what are we going to do about tonight? We can't sleep out here. I'll just die! I'm certain I will."
"Don't worry, we're not going to. Now I know I smelled water not too long ago. C'mon, let's head this way. Where there's water there's bound to be some green food. We can spend the night there." Kel slightly changed course, now heading due Northwest. Blossom moaned out in exhaustion before following closely under the shade of Kel's tail.

Cera looked almost insulted at Skye's remark, but then she sighed quietly.
"It's alright...I shouldn't have been so pushy about it. But still...we threehorns have to stick together right?" she asked hoping to at least get a good response from Skye.
At that moment a lone rainbow-face stepped into small sea-side landscape. He was tired, hungry, but above all else he was simply tired of being alone in the Mysterious Beyond. He yawned from his exhaustion and stepped forward until he reached a small stream of water and quickly deciding sleep was better than thirst he laid his head down and quickly fell into a deep sleep.
Spike had laid down for some time, but smiled as he watched his friends talking and resting. He then mumbled to himself, 'This is a good day...no adventure, no danger...just us relaxing.' But then he picked up a new scent...one he didn't recognize...and that made his curious. Spike stood up, and using his sniffer began to track down the scent.

Skye sighed with a little shrug "I guess so...." was all she could really say, although just being reminded of her family no longer with her had her mood vanish a little bit, well, not really vanish, more just, diminish.
She looked over at Cera for another moment or two before sighing a second time and giving off, what seemed to be a smile of some sort....well, one could call it a smile anyway coming from her as she was doing her best to smile as it were. Although, the smile in question only last a second or so before it left her face.

Littlefoot noticed that Cera and Skye were having their alone time, so he figured it was best to leave them be. He forgot that he had commented on his mother without fully explaining everything, so he decided that if they were going to be staying with these new dinosaurs they should know about him. "See, when I first met Cera, we were in two separate herds looking for the Mysterious Beyond. We didn't associate with others of a different species. Well, Cera and I were playing when Sharptooth came after us. My mother died saving us." The event replayed through his mind as if it only happened yesterday. "After that happened, I ran into somebody who told me that I couldn't let her death stop me, so I looked for the Great Valley on my own, and I met all my friends and found my grandparents. Who would have guessed that we would have left the Great Valley and ventured again."

Lily found she had to smile at the optimistic view these kids were presenting, "Well, if you kids seem so sure than I'm sure it will" she smiled.
As Littlefoot went on, though, she frowned a bit and Tylr as well.
"I...I really am sorry to hear that" Tylr said sincerely, "as someone who knows what it's like to lose your parents before you feel your ready".
"And to then lose the Valley again..." Lily sighed.
"We just happy to be together, though" Petrie said, "since our parents were gonna split up again before we founded this place".
"Then we're double happy we could help" Tylr grinned, "Right Cree".
"Yeah, yeah, happy to help" Cree shrugged.
"I guess you could say Lily I kinda did the same too, putting the whole herds keeping to themselves thing aside" Tylr went on, "since even our parents and the flyers about them worked the same, keeping to just flyers, but when I stumbled upon Lily all sad over her parents being gone I...well I just had to ask her to come along with me and Cree".
Lily looked a bit embarrassed yet smiled remembering Tylr's kindness, "Tylr...I wasn't...helpless" she argued. Truth be told now that they were teens, and if she felt she was allowed by the world to do so, she'd formed a sort of crush on Tylr just for his being such a good friend.
"Oh sorry" Tylr smiled. Neither of the teens had noticed Spike's wandering either as they told this filling in of the gaps a bit of their own story.

Cera could see that Skye was trying to be sincere with her smile, and that in turn made Cera give a genuine smile of her own. "Come on...at the very least, join me for lunch. All this talking is making me hungry." she commented while still maintaing her smile.
Spike had walked almost to the edge of the river and was rather surprised to see a rainbow face fully asleep leaning against a rock. He wasn't sure if he should tell the other elders, but in a momentary decision Spike simply sat down in the grass and began eating as he waited for the sleeping rainbow face to wake up.
Cyrix still lost in his deep slumber was unaware of the spiketail sitting a few feet away as he continued to dream about finding the one thing he was searching for.

Skye took a quick deep breath of air "Okay, I guess joining you for lunch would be a good thing, yeah, alright....I'll take you up on your little lunch offer thing, although I have eaten something.....but that wasn't really much, so yeah, I could use some more lunch" she told Cera, still doing her best to keep up a smile of her own.

Mim sat on a rock looking out at the ocean, a thing she's heard about but had never seen. As she sat looking out at the ocean she was finishing eating a leaf, wondering what the small fish and other small things including the underwater green food may taste like. She suspected bad like the water did.

"What shall we do next?" Diver asked as she looked around at those near her.

Littlefoot was pretty much lost in his own train of thought. All he could think about now was Chomper. They had only seen each other for a little bit after all this time, and now it seemed like he would never see him again. "I just wish I could see him again. Why does he have to live on that island," he muttered to himself.
On the island, Chomper was thinking the same exact thing. He had already missed Littlefoot and it had only been a day since he left the island. "It's so boring here. I wish my friends were here so we could play again. I really miss them." Standing at the edge of the cliff, he peered off beyond the Big Water, hoping that he would see Elsie come back with Littlefoot riding on her head. "Littlefoot," he said to himself. "Come back, please."

Cera smiled as she lead Skye over to a large shrub with treestars and sweet bubbles on it. "Come on dig in." she said as she began to eat her fill.
Spike was also still eating waiting for the rainbow face to awaken from his slumber.'I do hope he's okay.' thought the young spiketail to himself.
Cyrix at that moment opened his eyes and yawned. He took a few deep breaths of fresh air and then slowly stood up. He glanced around and after rubbing his eyes he noticed Spike sitting nearby. "Oh...hello young spiketail. Perhaps you can tell me where I am?" Cyrix asked genuinely.
Spike at that moment looked up and smiled as he turned around and began to lead the way back to the others.

Skye gave off a small little laugh back as she begun to eat from the shrub as well, glancing over to Cera once again as she ate still "By the way, I should've asked this, but how long are you lot planning on staying in this area for anyway? I mean, I for one, I don't even know what my own little plan is going to be at the moment" she spoke with her mouth full as well...her manners weren't exactly the best either.

"Let's explore the area a bit more, then when we get to hot or something we can jump into the water." Rhyn said.
"That does sound like a good idea. Let's go do it." Mia said nodding and motioning for them to be off.
"I do hope Deon is ok. I'm sure he certainly is." Diver said.
"He's fine. his herd eat fish mainly." Mai said, "Though maybe they caught some leaf gobblers if they fly by the area." Mia said, smiling at the idea of Deon and some of his herd jumping around and snapping at some leaf gobblers, as well as some of the sharp tooth flyers flying and snapping at leaf gobblers too.

Crea couldn't help herself and began to laugh aloud after she'd swallowed her mouthful of treestars. She was laughing so hard she began to roll around on the floor to try and ease the laughing pain. She then looked up at Skye and answered her question. "Well...honestly I don't know how long we're going to be here. Hopefully the green food in the Great Valley grows back soon. We'll be leaving then I suppose."
Spike stepped over to Littlefoot with a smile and sat down.
Cyrix having followed Spike to his friends smiled and politely asked, "Excuse me children...do you happen to know where I am...or more importantly if you know of a flyer?"

Skye arched an eyebrow at Cera's laughing "Oookay...." was all she could say, even saying it loud without a care at all "It was just a simple question, no need to go and laugh about it, it wasn't all that funny" she added on and took another bite of the green food available.
"I mean hey, like I said, I don't even know where I am going to be heading to next, I guess wherever there is more green food available to eat" Skye glanced around a little bit as well before giving off a little shrug, she had no real plan available to herself at the moment, she was practically making it up as she was going along.

Petrie saw a tree with some treesweets on it. "How about we go over there. Me could eat one of those. Anyone else hungry?" he asked looking at the others.
"I wouldn't mind eating one or 2 of those. But they do look pretty high up." Mia said looking at the tree.
"They certainly are high up." Diver said looking up. "I would not need a whole one but just a piece of one."
"Petrie and I can get some, and drop them down to you." Rhyn said, and patting Diver on the shoulder, "We can share one. "
"One should certainly be enough for the both of us, and maybe Petrie also." Diver said nodding. The group then headed towards where the tree with the fruit on it stood.

After having led Blossom to water, Kel and the young fast runner drank their fill. That's when Blossom began to complain of hunger and with a sigh Kel started to look for something to eat. The two waded through the freshwater creek and toward a cluster of green shrubbery.
Kel: "What would you say to a couple of treesweets, Blossom?"
Blossom: "Well I wouldn't say no."
As they got closer, Kel could definitely pick up the scent of the tasty treats. Emerging onto the creek bank, Blossom ran over toward the giant tree with the fruit hanging down from it.
