"Sure!" the sharpbeak smiled back. "Maybe you'll find me cute as a scorekeeper," he thought. Guido still had a big crush on Tippy.

"How should we split up the teams?" asked Ruby.

Dilo blinked her eyes a few times. "Pine Cone...?" She asked in a genuinely confused voice. She had never heard of this time before. She was familiar with the game of tag, although she saw it mostly as practice hunting, learning to find food and such. But what purpose could a pine cone serve?

Tippy gave a wide smile as she heard that Guido would agree to be the scorkeeper. She then responded to Ruby.
"Tippy does not know. Maybe flyers and swimmers against the pack hunters?"

Longtail nervously looked back and forth between his friends hoping they would get this settled so they could play.

"So, Tippy, Spike, Petrie, Longtail, and you Dilo, vs. me, Littlefoot, Shorty, Cera, and Ruby," Chomper smiled.

"That sounds fair," Petrie said.

"But where should we play?" Ruby asked

Dilo smiled nervously. Before she could even participate, she needed to know what this game was about. "So...how do you play pinecone..?" She just knew that at least one of them were going to wonder why she didn't know. She had a feeling that the concept of Pine Code was going to be relatively simple. But it is not her fault. She had hardly played games when she was little.

"Well, as the name suggests, we use a pine cone," Chomprer replied. "Each team has a goal, and one player on each team is the goal keeper. Each team tries to get the pine cone in the other team's goal."

"Oh..I understand now." Dilo rubbed the back of her head, feeling a bit silly to not understand the concept.

Upon getting no response from Dilo Longtail just shrugged his wings and said, "OKAY! Let's get this game started!"

"O-only if I get to get to goalie for my team." stuttered Longtail

Tippy giggled and said, "Okay Longtail!" She looked to Guido for a moment and gave him a warm smile to show she was ready to play.

"Ok everybody...go!" Guido called, the sharpbeak flying backwards to get out of the team's way, then looked admiringly at Tippy.

Littlefoot and spike each headed for the pine cone first. It was going to be close

Longtail stood his ground and cheered his team.
"Go Spike...get that pinecone!"

Tippy stayed inbetween Longtail and Littlefoot just in case he got the ball first.

Dilo realized she had forgotten to answer Longtail, but it was too late now. The game had started. Before she knew it, Spike raced off towards the pinecone, Littlefoot coming towards it as well. Dilo almost took off after Spike, but decided to wait and see if he would get it first.

Littlefoot was the first to reach the pine cone, and began dashing towards the goal. But Tippy tripped him with her tail, and the pine cone landed in front of Dilo.
