idk, what if there would be not two options tie, but three, four, or even ten, if ten people votes single time for different movie so there's 10 options with one vote?

---

Land Before Time: The TV Series
I'm only allowing two-way ties. Anything exceeding that gets an additional mini-round so someone can change their vote to break the tie.

Sure. That means "Wisdom of Friends" and "Tinysauruses" win at a tie and are both voted out. The remaining films are...

The Series:

The Land Before Time
LBT 2: The Great Valley Adventure
LBT 3: The Time of the Great Giving
LBT 4: Journey Through the Mists
LBT 5: The Mysterious Island
LBT 6: The Secret of Saurus Rock
LBT 7: The Stone of Cold Fire
LBT 8: The Big Freeze
LBT 9: Journey to Big Water
LBT 10: The Great Longneck Migration
LBT 12: The Great Day of the Flyers
Land Before Time: The TV Series
LBT 14: Journey of the Brave

My vote: The Secret of Saurus Rock

I've decided that since the first round didn't get started until halfway through it's first day, I'll give it another day before I end the Round 1.

:evilsmile Original Land Before time, of cour... *gets eaten by Sharptooth*
LBT 6: The Secret of Saurus Rock :[

------------

I hope, after finishing with LBT films, we can continue with other lists for the game: TV Episodes, Gang members, their parents, antagonists, main guest characters, etc... How about that? :D

Also, how many hours/days each round will last? Thank you.

24 Hours, ending at Midnight each night. Presumably it will last 15 days, voting off one movie per day, ideally.

Alright, let's get started. Just me repost the rules with the slight adjustments here so they're fresh when you're lookin over the entries:

Quote
In this game, the "host" (in this case, me) will list all the LBT films. All of them, the original to "Journey of the Brave". I will conclude each Round at Midnight at Central Daylight Time.

Each round, someone picks a "Land Before Time" film they'd like to be voted off the list. Likely the one you like the least. And yes, I get to vote, too. That said, I have to discourage voting against one you haven't seen. And you only get to vote on one movie.

Through process of one-by-one elimination, assuming some rounds don't end in a tie, we'll narrow it down. That said, with we end up in a tie that exceeds just two movies, I will run an additional round so anyone who'd like to change their vote can, and the 'winner' will be voted off. I will remove two films at once if it's just a two-way tie. We will eventually come down to the last two movies. One gets voted off and the remaining one is the favorite of the board.

So, who's in? I'll start and list the entire series as soon as I know the game will have participants.

The Series:

The Land Before Time
LBT 2: The Great Valley Adventure
LBT 3: The Time of the Great Giving
LBT 4: Journey Through the Mists
LBT 5: The Mysterious Island
LBT 6: The Secret of Saurus Rock
LBT 7: The Stone of Cold Fire
LBT 8: The Big Freeze
LBT 9: Journey to Big Water
LBT 10: The Great Longneck Migration
LBT 11: Invasion of the Tinysaususes
LBT 12: The Great Day of the Flyers
LBT 13: The Wisdom of Friends
Land Before Time: The TV Series
LBT 14: Journey of the Brave

My vote: Invasion of the Tinysaususes

Threehorns and Swimmers, I present the "LBT Survivor Game," which I thought would be fun to run as well.

We will eventually come down to the last two movies. One gets voted off and the remaining one is the favorite of the board.

So, who's in? I'll start and list the entire series as soon as I know the game will have participants.

Here's a short horror one. There's nothing graphic in it, but it is nevertheless  frightening and disturbing.

Seems you've just stumbled onto one of my favorite pastimes. I love just typing "animated shorts" into the YouTube search bar and seeing what people come up with. I've seen this one before, it's real good, like you said.

I'll check back when I go on one of my 'dives' and post something.

Thanks for the info @The Chronicler, I haven't been keeping up with MLP news as much as I used to. So...Pony Life is basically gonna be modernized FiM, hmm? As for the continuity--I guess I should've clarified that I already knew it wasn't the exact same continuity, but I'm just wondering whether it's going to change so much that the Mane Six + Spike will be the only characters who get carried over. If characters like the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Applejack's family, etc. get erased from existence, this isn't gonna go over well with me.

And who's this Potion Nova pony, anyway? IS she even a real character, or just one that was invented specifically for the toyline?

Honestly, I'd just prefer if they just pulled the plug on all FiM-related/associated productions after the finale of the core show. Just rip it off like a band-aid and get to work on G5.

I'm nervous about G5. I hope they give us a new group of main characters instead of rebooting the adventures of Twilight and Co., because they're not gonna be able to improve on the Mane Six's original run. Yet, from a marketing standpoint, I'd say the fact that FiM was such a success means Hasbro's probably gonna want to keep using its main characters, so I'm afraid G5 will turn out to be Friendship is Magic 2.0 or something... :confused
Then they will fail and MLP's ten year winning streak will cease.

In 2020, I still look back at the trio of new shows they released "MLP: Friend is Magic", "Transformers Prime", and "G.I. Joe: Renegades," it still tickles me that MLP was the last one standing by quite a few years.

I'm sure I've already clarified this before, but just a reminder, Pony Life is not of the same continuity as FiM, with the only significant similarities being the basic personalities of each character (which is why most fans commonly refer to Pony Life as G4.5 to differentiate it from FiM as G4 and the not-yet-announced G5 that will get its start with next year's movie). As an example, according to one episode synopsis, television exists in the Pony Life universe, which after over 200 episodes over 9 season is clearly not something that exists in the FiM universe.

I will say it's getting annoying how we still don't have any definitive dates for when episodes of Pony Life will finally start showing, only the implication that it'll be "sometime very soon". I've even heard that Canada might end up premiering this show before America, if these unexplained delays keep up. Either way, I'll definitely be sure to mention here when the first episode of Pony Life finally shows up.

In additional news, the biggest MLP fanfiction site, fimfiction.net, was down for about 32 hours yesterday, apparently due to some hardware issue with their servers. Thankfully, the site's back up and everything seems fine, so I'll be able to continue working on the latest story of my fanfiction series (not to mention resume checking for other stories I'm interested in reading and adding them to my ever expanding "read it later" list).
Honestly, I'd just prefer if they just pulled the plug on all FiM-related/associated productions after the finale of the core show. Just rip it off like a band-aid and get to work on G5.

Unfortunately, deviartart is kind of the YouTube of art sites. The new design is faulty as heck, but there isn't much in the way of alternatives. At least not anymore. There used to be more big art sites like it, but they all seem to have vanished.

Would you support a reboot?
Yes-ish, but mostly I'm good, because I enjoy the "Season 3" webcomic.

I've seen it. Used to watch it religiously when it was on TV, and I managed to get my hands on the DVD box set. It's a great series and the best Sonic cartoon in my opinion. I really wish they'd give this series another chance.

What is amazing about SMBII (USA) is it made Luigi playable for the first player, Peach and Toad were playable. Toad hasn’t been a playable character outside a spinoff series like Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Mario Sports Games. Even the Toad game on Switch is a spinoff. SMBII us Shy Guy, who is really from another game, but one of my favorite characters after Yoshi and Dry Bones.
I really kind of wished they'd continue the trend of Peach and Toad being playable for mainline games more often, because Toad's speed and Peach's float ability were both pretty nifty.

I'm a big fan of this compilation of remasters of the original five main Mario titles. It was the first SNES game I ever owned. I had the "Super Mario Bros All-Stars Plus Super Mario World" edition. This was basically my definitive experience with the old Mario games of the time, and aside from a handful of titles since then, not much has topped this in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the Mario series is full of great titles, this is just my personal bias talking.

We do, guys. We do. I kinda love these days. Man, I can't believe it's been 24 years since this one came out. I feel old, this film was only 8 years old when I joined.

what would the story be about? pongo and perdita have to be pretty old by that point. its not as if 'creulla gets out of jail and wants revenge' would work.

My point exactly. The overused cliché that the main villain was sentenced to prison for doing something terrible and breaking out of said prison to get revenge on the protagonist is quite unoriginal and I fail to see how it would excite the audience. Although Disney is up to something little different, as of right now, I don't see it becoming a hit.
