Aother 3 person RP between Sleepy,Zimmy and me (cause we has so much funs :D)
Ok,it was Sleepy's turn to come up with a RP,but I'm the one posting it. But plot was created by Sleeping-force's-inside
See Sleepy? I told you I'll make it 'the day after tomorrow' xD
And my turn to be villain HEHEHEHE
Character List:
Littlefoot (Nahla)
Grandma and Grandpa (Sleeping-force's-inside)
Bron (Zimba)
Zimba (Sleeping-force's-inside but character belongs to Zimba)
Nahla (Nahla)
Hades (Nahla)
Nani aka Nahla's Mother (Zimba but character belongs to Nahla).
PLOT:
A small herd arrives in The Great Valley, lead by a female that goes by the name of Nani. Her 'herd' contains her daughter Nahla and family friend Zimba. They came here to escape a past that most would consider a nightmare. That nightmare had a name-Hades. Hades is cold,cruel..and maybe a little...ok a very big psychopath he also happens to be Nani's old (forced) mate and the father of Nahla, who wants them back in his control. Things take a twist when Nahla starts falling in love with one of the valley longnecks named Littlefoot. Upon hearing this Hades plans to stop at nothing to shatter the bond the two lovers share. However Hades's plans go further then just making sure Nahla doesn't feel the love. Grandma and Grandpa must not only protect their grandson and his girlfriend and her family, but everyone else they know because they'll soon realize Hades will stop at nothing to get what he wants more then anything in the world-power over the most famous and beautiful land in the world-The Great Valley. No matter how many lives he needs to take to get there.
Sleepy, sorry if I gone off your idea a bit but I got kinda carried away with writing the thingy :D
Zimmy, you start off since you got Nani also up to you if you want Bron there yet.
And Sleepy,no blowing up the world this time :nyah
-
OOC: Haha 'Sleepy don't blow up the world' xD.
A tall female longneck entered the valley, she had clear blue eyes. They sparkled with the hope of a new beginning and leaving behind the memories of her past and...him..Hades... At first she thought nothing good had come out of her time with Hades then she realized one thing did-their daughter they had together,Nahla. She turned her head to see her late teenager/young adult daughter trailing behind her,her red male friend Zimba by her side before turning her head again to focus ahead of her,she narrowed her eyes when she saw a form walking up to them..something big..and brown...and longneck like...
OOC: No RP of ours ain't official till Littlefoot greets the OC's xD
So it gonna be Me-Nana-Sleepy for this one regrading RP order?
-
OOC: Sure,that order will do.
Littlefoot stopped in front of them and eyed them up and down,he soon smiled it was like he could tell if someone was trustworthy just by looking at them. "Hello,I'm Littlefoot one of the leaders here. I'm in charge of greeting visitors,as is my grandparents but they are busy right now so you's are stuck with me" he chuckled. "May I ask your names?"
"I'm Nahla" the young pink female stepped forward, she nodded to the other female "That is my mother,Nani".
"What about him?" Littlefoot asked nodding towards Zimba.
Nahla slapped Zimba in the side with her tail "Don't be rude, introduce yourself. I'm not doing it for you" she muttered to the red male.
-
OOC: Awwwww, why not!? D:
"I... I'm Zimba..." He shyly said, a blush visible even with his red coloration.
-
Nani chuckled "Zimba is just a friend of my daughter, not related by blood" she explained turning her head to look around "Nice to meet you Littlefoot...thats a kinda strange name for an adult longneck though isn't it?"
-
Nahla burst out laughing at both her mother and her friend.
"Yeah I get that a lot lately" Littlefoot mutterd.
"Is it ok if I go take a drink?" Nahla questioned.
"Of course, watering hole is that way" Littlefoot nodded with his head.
"Thanks" she walked past Zimba "You can come if you want or you can stay with the dude with the weird name and my mother" with that said Nahla walked on further still giggling.
-
"I... I think I'll stay here..." He murmured. "Sides, the name is not THAT bad..."
-
Meanwhile a little bit away another brown but older male longneck lay near to elderly grey ones. Bron had decided to spend time with his family here in the valley which contained his parents in law and hi son who just happened to be Littlefoot.
-
"Well..she's...bubbly" Littlefoot commented watching Nahla leave "ANyway" he said turning to face the others "Follow me,my Grandparents will help you's arrange a resting place" he lead them on called out for his Grandparents "GRANDMA! GRANDPA!" he soon spotted them and turned to face Nani and Zimba "Thats them" he then cleared his throat loudly to alert his Grandparents they were kinda wanted.
-
Grandpa opened one eye to look at his grandson. "Didn't we give you our jobs?" He demanded with a grin as he rose to his feet. "Really now..."
-
Bron rose his head and stood up "Littlefoot, you slacking off?" he teased whacking his son in the head, getting Zimba too by mistake but not noticing.
Nani looked back "I hope Nahla didn't get lost...."she commented.
-
Littlefoot poked his tongue at Bron before turning to Grandpa "Yeah you did..BUT I thought you would least help these poor homeless longnecks who have no where else to go" he said in an over dramatic way his eyes sparkling with mischief.
-
"That is ALSO your job now." Grandma joined her husband with a gentle smile. "Welcome to the Valley, since it seems our grandson is incapable of greeting you."
Zimba hesitantly returned her smile.
-
"Thank you" Nani replied "Theres another one of us but...she went for a drink now seems to have vanished" she chuckled/
-
"She'll be fine" Litttlefoot said "Little trouble she can get in here,it's perfectly safe..plus she is an adult isn't she? She'll be fine ma'am" he turned to his Grandparents smirking "But I can't do EVERYTHING!" he complained "I need a partner or something to help me so they can do the jobs I do not like" he was clearly joking though.
-
"Feh..." His grandparents rolled their eyes. "Well, we have been pushing you to find someone for years. Now if you had that, this would not be such a discussion. Now go find these guests some spots."
-
Bron chuckled "Littlefoot, you really need to get yourself a girl. Your Grandparents are wanting that no doubt, the love...the wedding...then the great grandkids they been wanting for years, and I think they want to be ALIVE that..don't cha's" Bron slapped Grandpa very lightly with his tail.
Nani laughed "I want my daughter Nahla to find a guy though she how do we say...a bit hyper..never settles down or do what I tell her" she laughed "And it even worse now she an adult with 'free will'..ugh that girl is gonna get me killed one day maybe a guy will settle her down some and she'll be more like Zimba here" she nodded with her head.
-
Littlefoot blushed "I already told you's. None of the girls here are interested in me and also I have no interest in being a father anytime soon..kids are a pain in the butt" he laughed turning to face the new comers "You know...this Nahla reminds me of somebody..." he trailed off not realizing Nahla was pretty much the female version of himself.
-
"Of course, it took AGES for us to finally get grandkids." Both glared at Bron. "So it's pretty much YOUR fault that this is all taking so long."
Zimba blushed, not thinking that he was really something anyone would want. He was a shy coward after all, more a philosopher than a fighter. Which was predictably bad in their world.
-
Nani nudged Zimba "WHy don't you go find Nahla? Hang around with her for a while, you both could do with the company I think"
Bron's face filled mock hurt "It isn't MY fault Littlefoot fails at getting girls"
-
Littlefoot poked his tongue out "If I find a girlfriend will everyone be happy?" he asked whacking his father "And I so not fail by the way"
-
"Considering how long it took you to get YOUR girl, I think it runs in your family." Grandpa countered. "I certainly did NOT take so long to get Grandma, I assure you."
Zimba nodded obediently, walking off to find Nahla.
-
Bron chuckled "Boy she must must of been desperate to give in so fast then" he laughed.
Nani watched Zimba leave before facing the family again turning to hide a chuckle, this was too amusing.
-
Nahla had fallen asleep by the watering hole-why she never came back. She was tired from the trip from their old home to the valley here. She breathed softly but that was the only movement..she looked so peaceful.
Littlefoot hid his laughter "What would you say if I said if I had a crush on the new girl?" he turned his head slightly to Nani "Yeah...your daughter" he chuckled "Nahla seems like quite the character..if not a little hyper..plus she is beautiful..yeah I have a crush on her but if I tell ehr she'll most likely slap me like the others"
-
Grandma just slapped both Bron and Littlefoot with her tail, Bron a little harder cause she couldn't tell for the life of her what her daughter had seen in him. "Bloody idiots."
Zimba slowed when he saw Nahla sleeping. He didn't want to wake her.
-
Bron jumped back "What was that for?!!" he complained.
-
Littlefoot snorted "Yeah Grandma, what did I do? The other girls least had a REASON" he complained.
Nahla awoke hearing footsteps..it was hard for a full grown longneck to be quiet after all. She turned her head and smiled when she saw Zimba "Hi,Zimba what you doing out here?"
-
"You." She gestured to Bron. "Because I really wonder what my daughter ever saw in you and YOU." She pointed at Littlefoot. "Because you somehow are more your father's son despite being around Grandpa most of the time. And you both because you are just barking idiots and I pity any woman that ends up with you."
Grandpa grinned at that. He loved his wife.
"Just seeing what was taking you." He said, slowly walking up to her. "Sorry I woke you."
-
Bron huffed and stormed off not willing to deal with the old lady rage at him.
Nani shifted feeling awkward, she looked like she wanted to just walk away but she also did not want to be rude.
-
Littlefoot huffed, not sure if he should take that as a hint to change his ways or be offended and storm off like his father.
"It fine" she yawned standing up "I needed to wake up anyway" she stopped next to Zimba leaning her head against him in a friend manner "You like it here?" she asked smiling at her longtime best friend.
OOC: There,Zimba can have a BFF :nyah
-
Grandpa was meanwhile having trouble holding his laughter back. "Still the same after all these Cold Times, my love."
"It's true." Grandma shrugged, turning to Nani. "Come, let's see if we can find you a spot to settle."
Zimba: :oops :oops :oops :oops :oops :oops :oops :oops :oops :oops
-
Nani nodded "Right" she said walking forward, she seemed uneasy as if she was hiding something. She kept shifting her eyes seeming distant.
-
Nahla giggled at Zimba's face, she rubbed his head smiling. She licked him quickly before she realized hat she was doing and pulled back blushing "Come on,we better get back" she said and began walking off.She sighed she had to admit..she had a crush on Zimba...the most awkward guy in the world...
OOC: I thought I'll give Nahla a little crush on Zimba since they are close friends and sides, she doesn't really know Littlefoot at all so she far from interested in him right now.
-
Zimba nodded. "Okay..."
-
Bron watched the two younger adults behind the trees curious. He looked from to female to the male smiling he knew what that girl was thinking, she had a little crush on her red friend there. The smile left his face when he remembered HIS son had a crush on the girl. He shrugged it off though, sure Littlefoot would be a bit upset but he'd move on. He continued to watch them not saying a word.
OOC: Bron stalking them from behind the trees is not strange at all xD.
-
Nahla fell back to walk beside Zimba instead of just leading, she smiled at him "So Zimba you gonna get a girlfriend anytime soon? You know my mother...if we don't choose ourselves she'll arrange someone for us" she laughed whacking him in the side with her tail "I saw some other longneck females a while ago, maybe one of them will like you. Though I kinda do..she added in her thoughts "Maybe that Littlefoot guy will like me,he a leader so Mother would love it if I went with him" she rolled her eyes and kept rambling "But I doubt he'll ever know me as well as you do I mean we only been friends since like forever" she rubbed her head against her companion "Gee I hope when you get a girl you'll still remember me,if you don't I'll be forever hurt" she laughed and looked to the ground, man how could she be in love with Zimba of all dinosaurs? Boy she was glad her father wasn't here to find out about her little crush,it would make him spew-his daughter falling for to whom he called 'ruffian' and 'riff-raff' he never approved on Nahla's friendship with Zimba, only dealing with it because of Nani's nagging to let them be,and a [forced] promise from his daughter that it'll never go past 'just friends'. But it looked like she was breaking that promise. She did not notice Bron as she passed him she was too busy thinking about her father,Hades. He was the whole reason Zimba, her mother and her came here in the first place-to get away from him. She knew he was not the type to just let that happen and carry on his merry way,he'll come for them...the question was-when? Nahla sighed, true it would be the whole Great Valley against one lone longneck, she wondered if she should warn that Littlefoot to be aware incase something did happen-Littlefoot was one of the leaders after all. But two problems with that. 1.It'll blow their secret and 2.Theres a chance she would be thought to be on it which could also put her mother and Zimba in danger. Man she thought looking at Zimba life is suddenly so difficult,I mean should I tell Zimba that I kinda love him? But what if he runs away? I mean I'm not exactly perfect girlfriend type...am I? she took a deep shaky breath only one way to find out I guess.... "Zimba? I need to tell you something...something important".
Meanwhile,Littlefoot was turned facing away from his Grandparents gazed fixed to the ground "I don't get it..." he sighed "It seems nothing I do is right..maybe I'm just worthless and unlovable after..I'll die all alone" he dramaticly threw himself to the ground "You were right Grandma,I am an idiot" he buried his head into the ground "Why did I have to take after dad? Why couldn't I get Mother's side?"
OOC: Long post is long, you're all welcome :D.
-
"You're not THAT bad." Grandpa soothed his grandson. "At least you skipped the 'girls have cooties'-phase. Your father was in that for years..."
"Okaay...?" Zimba did not like where this was going. He felt awkward. And now that Nahla starting talking about 'important' he really, really wanted to be somewhere else.
-
Nani snorted with laughter at that "Are you serious?" she chuckled.
-
Nahla looked down and sighed before looking up at Zimba again "I know you might find this weird but...' she edged closer to Zimba "I....kinda...have this crush on you..." she admitted "So what I'm trying to say is.....I love you" she glanced at the make-she was sure he was gonna freak.
-
He didn't freak. Well, okay, maybe a bit... "I... I... I'm sorry..." He blurted out as his red deepened even more from the worst blush EVER.
"Oh yes. Why do you think it took him and our daughter so long to get together? Surely not from lack of trying on HER part." Grandma rolled her eyes.
-
Nani looked down for a moment before slightly raising her head "Where is your daughter anyway?"
-
"No..I'm sorry"Nahla said quietly "I know....what on earth am I thinking and why would YOU love ME..." she sighed and started walking again.
Littlefoot went quiet,a tear even started falling. He could never hear someone ask about his mother without at least tearing up a tad...he was actually there...no one really knew....expect him.
-
"NO..!" He surprised himself with the volume he used in his attempt to stop her from walking away. "No... it's... not like that. You are awesome, Nahla... but... but you are more a sister to me..."
"Dead." Grandma answered, her voice even. "Killed long ago."
-
Nani gritted her teeth, she would never be able to bare the pain if she lost Nahla..or even Zimba who was like a son to her. "I'm sorry' she whispered "This topic...must hurt...sorry I brought it up"
-
Nahla looked to the ground Yeah....I understand you don't like in love with me love me." she tried to keep the heartbreak out of her voice, she knew she would move on in time but for now it hurt "Lets just get back to mother".
Littlefoot stood up "And just so you know what killed her-I DID" he said the tears falling more now "I wandered away from home and was attacked by Sharptooth, she tried to save me but he killed. But if I just stayed at home she would still be here today..with us IT WAS ALL MY FAULT" after saying that he took off to go to somewhere quiet for a while..besides he could use some quiet time before this leader stuff snapped him.
-
"We are over it... as far as one can get. But Littlefoot just won't stop blaming himself." Grandma assured the other female. "If you will excuse me..." She followed after her grandson.
It took him a moment to make heads and tails of what she was saying but when he did, he nodded. "Sorry."
-
Nani watched them go and sighed smiling at Grandpa before almost instantly looking away, she looked to the ground hoping her daughter and Zimba would return soon.
-
Nahla said nothing as she lead Zimba back, soon reaching her mother, she nodded at her mother and walked a few feet to eat some berries on nearby bush still not saying a word. Not to her mother, not to Grandpa and not to Zimba. In her thoughts, she was worried thinking she ruined her friendship with Zimba and he wouldn't want to be her best friend anymore..or her friend at all.
Littlefoot stopped when he heard something behind him,he turned his head, tears falling down his face to greet Grandma briefly before starting to walk again,he really wasn't interested in being told how he was like his idiotic father right now, though at times when Grandma said it it WAS funny...right now though...he wanted nothing to do with it.
-
"Littlefoot, wait" Grandma called out to him. How she missed the times where she could simply stop him by taking hold of his tail.
Grandpa's eyes narrowed marginally. Something had happened between the two youngsters.
-
Nani looked at Nahla then walked up to Zimba and lead him a few feet away "What happened with you and Nahla?" she asked softly "Something seems to have her quite upset"
-
Littlefoot stopped to let Grandma to come up to him
-
She reached him and said nothing for a while, gently resting her head on his.
"Well... she... kinda told me she loved me... but I...." Oh God, help....
-
"You don't love her back?" Nani asked guessing what he was going to say.
-
Littlefoot's tears had stopped but he still didn't say a word he hoped it would be Grandma breaking this silence, his eyes seemed so far away as if in their own world.
-
"It was not your fault." Grandma stated, moving her body closer to his. "You are not to blame for what happened."
"Not like that..." The red Longneck seemed to shrink into himself.
-
"You still want to be her friend though right?" Nani asked gently, she know understood what her daughter seemed so upset, she had her heart broken.though Zimba did not mean to upset her so Nani was not planning to hold a grudge on the red longneck.
-
"But if I just stayed in bed like she told me to..." Littlefoot felt like crying again as the horrible scenes played in his mind over and over.
Meanwhile,Nahla was now just pretending to eat,she was sobbing but trying to be quiet so Grandpa would not hear, she had her first heartbreak and it has shattered her.
-
"He would have come upon us while we were asleep and we ALL would be dead." Grandma answered.
"Uh-huh..." He nodded.
Grandpa was no fool. You don't live long being one. He could see she was hurt, but he also could see she wanted to be alone. So he let her.
-
"Tell her then Zimba, she needs to know you still care. You not love her in that manner, but you do love her in a different way-like family,is that right?" Nani nudged him to follow her again.
-
After those words Littlefoot could not hold it in anymore, the proud male broke down, grieving heavily for his mother,he would do anything to hear her calming voice again.
-
Grandma merely soothed him, letting him bawl his grief out.
"I... I did... But... I'm not sure she believed me..." He honestly answered.
-
"Try again, until she knows she'll never fully get over it and never move on which could result in....' Nani cut herself off not wanting to say it.
-
Littlefoot closed his eyes"Some strong leader I turned out to be..." he said quietly.
-
"A strong leader does not ever cry. A strong leader does cry when the need arises." Grandma told him. "Strength, true strength is when to admit that you are weak and need help. I might tease you, but I am proud of you, Littlefoot. You are an amazing Longneck, never doubt that."
"Okay..." Zimba looked over to where Nahla was, walking up to her.
-
Nani sighed and returned to Grandpa laying on the ground near him, worn out from the long trip here.
-
"Thanks Grandma, you're the greatest" he gave her a longneck version of a hug and sighed "I just miss her so much,Grandma...I'll never see her again..."
Nahla rose her head to greet Zimba quickly wiping her tears with her tail trying to make it seem she was never upset.
-
"YOu will see her in your dreams. In your heart." She returned the hug warmly. "Your children?" SHe added teasingly.
"You okay?" He asked softly, looking the female over.
-
Nani's stoamch growled but she ignored it and closed her eyes sighing.
-
Littlefoot blushed "What children?" he chukled "I don't even have a girlfriend..you know that"
"I'm fine" Nahla said quietly "So what you doing over here hanging around with worthless me?"
-
"Sooner or later you will." She assured him with a smile, patting his head with her tailtip. "Hopefully."
"You can just go eat something." Grandpa told Nani. "The green is for everyone."
"I'm not hanging out with worthless you." Zimba stated with conviction, for the first time in many, many years his voice not quivering. "I am hanging out with wonderful you."
-
"It fine" Nani answered "I don't really eat at all anyway..."
-
Littlefoot sighed "I have my eye on that Nahla girl...but she already seems to be with that other guy" he laid on the ground "All the girls here either called me A.Fat or B.Ugly or just laughed at my 'childish' name".
"I'm not wonderful, not by a longshot, all I have done is drag you into messed...like the abuse you had to suffer from my father..." she sighed.
-
"I don't think she is, actually..." Grandma mused
"You should." Grandpa suggested, looking her over more closely.
"That was hardly your fault..." And back to quivering voice it was.
-
"Whats the point?" Nani asked sadly "Knowing HE is around leaves no point in even trying to stay alive,I eat every two weeks..thats enough.."
-
"She's not?" Littlefoot questioned.
Nahla sighed sadly again "Doesn't matter,I'm not your friend anymore and you've come over to say how you hate me and that I should die, right?"
-
"Seemed more like a brother-sister-thing to me." Grandma lightly shrugged.
And there came anger, an even more alien emotion to him. "Never think I am like you father, Nahla." He sharply stated, eyes blazing with the intensity of this strange new feeling surging through his body. "I am not him and I will never be him. I would never want you dead, never."
Grandpa was about to ask who 'HE' was, but then he got distracted by the boy all but yelling at the girl.
-
Nani raised her head and looked at the two younger longnecks, she was surprised at what Zimba said to Nahla, she knew she had to let them sort it out on their own though "I never seen them act like this to each other" she commented "Zimba turned Nahla down when she said she loved him,now they're acting like rivals..HE would LOVED this,it is just what he was wanting" she added again just saying 'HE' and not giving any actual names.
-
Littlefoot thought thought for a moment "I wonder where they even came from" he said changing the subject "They just seemed to come from nowhere" he shrugged it off though figuring they must have their reasons to not tell, could be a bad experience they were trying to get away from-he was right about that actually.
Nahla stared at Zimba in shock,Zimba never-NEVER acted like this! She began backing off "I'm sorry...." she said quietly and shyly,it was like she had become Zimba for this moment "I...." she cut herself off, great memories of her father were coming back to her,he wanted a son and he got a daughter,he took it out on Nahla he hated her guts, she was punished for the crime of being a female..life wasn't fair "But...please...never...mention...HIM...again" of the three of them (Nani,Zimba and herself) Nahla was the most abused and tormented, she was happy to be away from him but even now Hades still haunted her thoughts,he had a goal and he succeed-Nahla was terrified of of him. The sight of him,the sound of his voice or just even the mention of his name sent pure fear through her. Someone just had to say 'Hades' or 'Your father' to her to cause a nightmareish flashback.
-
"You can always ask." Grandma suggested.
"Then don't compare me to him." Zimba countered, pain and grief etched on his face. "Or did I do something to deserve that?"
-
Nani called out "Enough you two, also I thought I told you's to never speak of him in public" she added.
-
Littlefoot nodded "Might ask them now actually" with that he walked back to the resting place slowly.
Nahla sighed sadly "No you didn't Zimba.." she looked over to her mother and sighed again "Sorry mother, but he is haunting me again it driving me mad" she looked back at Zimba and hugged him sobbing "I'm so sorry for being mad at you,I was just hurting because I loved you so much and you turned me down. But now I realize I actually love you in a different way then I thought...like a brother..I'm so sorry" she said again "I never meant to compare you to him"
-
Both grandparents said nothing, watching as Littlefoot approached the others. Zimba nodded at her, telling her it was okay.
-
Nani watched him too, nervousness filled her eyes and she began shifting and stared at the ground.
-
Littlefoot stopped in front of Zimba and Nahla "Hello there" he greeted with a smile "Sorry if this offends you but, where are you's from? It has me really curious" he smiled.
Nahla gulped and looked around looking for escape "Umm..I'm gonna get an another drink" she took off without another word.
Littlefoot tilted his head in confusion but shrugged it off and turned to Zimba "Zimba isn't it? Where do you, that Nahla and her mother come from? What was it like there? Why did you leave?"
-
"You... uhm...." Zimba felt very awkward now that everyone seemed to be looking at him for answers. "Long story..."
-
Nani tried to back into the shadows to not be seen, she hoped Zimba would just make something up though the guy had a hard time lying at times.
-
Littlefoot got closer "Well,we got time. Tell us"
-
"Yeah... but... but..." Zimba really wanted someone to help him. He got help, from an unexpected corner.
"Let them, Littlefoot." Grandpa spoke up. "It is obviously a painful subject. Give them time."
-
Nani sighed with relief "Zimba can you go get Nahla?. You never know if HE had followed us here...."
-
Littlefoot narrowed his eyes for a brief moment before smiling "Sorry didn't mean to pressure you, tell me when YOU are ready" he frowned when Nani said 'never know if HE followed us here...' who was this 'HE'?
-
"Nani, could I speak to you for a moment?" Grandma asked as she watched Zimba go after the youngest female. "It will not take long."
-
"Of course...." Nani said quietly stepping forward "What it is?
-
Littlefoot edged closer curious.
Nahla was hiding in a small forest not too far away, man she hoped her mother and Zimba managed to get out of it.
-
Grandma shooed her grandson away instead, gesturing that the other female should follow her. "One quick question." She said once they were well away from the others. "That 'He' you are unwilling to talk about. Could he be a threat to this Valley?"
"Nahla?" Zimba called, looking around for her.
-
"He? Who is this he you ask about?" Nani chuckled nervously she was clearly hiding something.
-
"Zimba?" Nahla came out "Did they find out?" she whispered
-
"The one your youngsters were talking about. The one you fear." Grandma looked at her with near unmatched intensity. "Do not play stupid. Littlefoot might have taken our duties, but he listens to us. He bows to us, even if we tell him to kick out the girl he loves because she is endangering the valley. Is 'He' a threat?"
-
Nani gulped, she was trapped she had to say something "Only to...the leaders or one with the highest postion like the spokesperson...." Nani said quietly "In that case that dinosaur will be slaughtered by him....Nahla is his-" she cut herself off,she could not let them know THAT.
-
Littlefoot stayed back at the resting place with Grandpa "Something about those newcomers...doesn't sit right" he commented "And who is this 'he' they all seem to fear?"
-
"That Grandma will be able to tell us." Grandpa shifted a bit. "I think you remember her glares, don't you?"
"His daughter, I presume?" Grandma snorted. "And when were you going to tell us this? When he entered the Valley and my grandson laid slaughtered!?"
-
"Um...I was not going tell you at all..." Nani took a step back.
-
"Yeah....she can be creepy..." Littlefoto shuddered "No one dares to lie around GRANDMA" Littlefoot added.
Near where Nani and Grandma were a black longneck male watched them. Hades smirked, they'll kick Nani and the two brats out where they will be defenceless, will make HIS job much easier.
-
"Is that so?" Grandma tilted her head, eyes narrowing. "You'd bring danger to this valley, and then dare leave us defenseless against it? That alone would be enough to show you the exit once more."
"No..." Zimba joined her. "But I... heard that Grandma wanna talk to your mom."
-
"You would not dare kick me out" Nani snarled her anger kicking it,which was rare.
-
"Oh no" Nahla said and rushed forward hoping to get her mother out of it,she skidded to a stop the last minute when she saw something she really never wanted to see again-Hades "Oh no...."
-
"Of course I wouldn't!" Grandma's equally rare fury rose up like a wildfire, making her voice echo from the nearby trees. "Are you barking mad?"
"Oh no..." Zimba too had seen the black silhouette, unlike the two females that were being watched.
-
"SHUT UP!" Nani screamed shoving Grandma before sprinting off, when Nani got mad...she snapped.
-
Nahla ran forward only to crash into Grandma, she glared "Why did you make my mother so upset?"she asked.
-
"Because your mother endangered the Valley I call home." Grandma seemed unfazed by both rammings. Her husband appeared on the scene as well, having heard her voice raised in anger: that always spelled trouble of some sort.
He also did not like the look of the black Longneck lurking in the shadows.
-
Bron arrived "Whats going on?" he saw Grandma's anger and took a step back.
-
Hades stepped out grabbing Nahla by the neck "Sorry about my daughter, she takes after me I guess. Can't control her anger" she smirked at the terrified pink female "Did Nani mention me?" he asked "I'm Hades, but for some reason it appears my mate and daughter here prefer to call me 'he' or 'him'" he had been watching for a while "Your grandson is the higher rank?" Hades smirked "Well he won't be when I get to him" he laughed.
-
"So it seems, yes." Grandma tilted her head at him. "And after him comes his grandfather, father, me, Threehorn, Thicknose, Swimmer, Flyer... Did that Spiketail ever agree to being in the leadership, dear?"
"I faintly recall him agreeing, yes." Grandpa serenely stated. "Don't forget the Sharptooth, my love, I think Chomper would hate being forgotten."
-
Nani came up from behind "Here to bring more torture?" she muttered towards Hades.
-
Hades smirked "Nani my love" he greeted in a forced happy tone still holding Nahla by the neck "I was just wondering....." his gaze landed on Grandma "Well, aren't you a beautiful young woman?" he smiled cutting himself off from what he was going to say to Nani "You must have guys just fighting over you" he got into in front of her shoving Grandpa out of the way and shoving Nahla into Grandpa he was hoping Grandpa would think Nahla attacked him and would get rid of her for him.
-
"I think you need to check your eye-sight, dear." Grandma answered with a smile. "It has been quite a while since I was 'young'."
"Though the males did fight over her when she was." Grandpa took the thrown Longneck in stride. He certainly had worse things hit him in the side.
-
Nani backed off more and more and when she was far enough she turned and ran off again.
-
Hades's eyes narrowed "Well, you sure do hide it well love,I never seen such beauty" he said placing his tail around her neck like some sort of hug
Littlefoot arrived on the scene and frowned when he saw Hades instinct told him not to trust him he stopped next to Grandpa and gritted his teeth when he saw he was FLIRTING with HIS GRANDMA..that was so wrong on sooo many levels. He stomped his foot ready for battle if it came to it.
-
"Oh indeed?" Grandma giggled lightly. "Grandpa, why don't you ever say such things to me, mmh?"
"Known you too long, my dear." He answered, shrugging lightly before raising an eyebrow at his grandson. "Any idea where your father is, Littlefoot?"
Zimba could only blink in something between horror and disbelief.
-
Bron cleared his throat "Should I rid of him?" he nodded towards Hades.
-
Hades ignored Bron and smiled at Grandma "How about we spend some more time together? Just you and I"
Littlefoot got ready to charge now "No! As if she would like you,she loves Grandpa. Leave her alone!"
-
"Littlefoot." Grandma admonished him. "Really now? Where are your manners?"
-
Bron snorted "Come on Mama Longneck, you don't LIKE him do you? I have this feeling we should be HATING him"
-
"Yeah Grandma, don't you see? He is trying to make his girlfriend!" Littlefoot frowned "That was the weirdest thing I have ever said to one of my Grandparents" he added.
-
"How do you think I got together with Grandpa?" Grandma tilted her head. "I know very much what he is doing. That does not mean you two can just forget your manners."
Grandpa nodded in agreement. "We certainly raised you better than that, Littlefoot. Behave."
-
Bron muttered under his breath before speaking louder "Where did the other female go?" he asked about Nani "The one that that acts strangely"
-
"I could always banish him..." Littlefoot muttered quietly turning to look at Nahla with a glare.
Nahla gulped and took a step back knowing Littlefoot was starting to think Nahla was part of some plan.
Hades wanted to snap at this annoying 'Littlefoot' but he had to keep his cool "Sorry, but your Grandma just screams 'beautiful' I can't help but try and get her myself..but of course she is taken. A male would have to be insane to not want her" he said but lot letting go of her neck,he scanned the distance but Nani but he really did not care.
-
Grandpa had no such trouble with snapping at the youngster. "Littlefoot. That is quite enough. Why don't you help me with finding her, while Grandma deals with our newest guest."
"That is acceptable." Grandma smiled lightly at the black Longneck beside her.
-
Nani looked around for Zimba "ZImba?" she called looking for the red longneck.
-
"Guest?" Littlefoot asked "He isn't staying here..I don't trust him"
Hades face filled with fake but realistic hurt "Littlefoot..." he said "How can you judge me so quickly? Just because of what Nani,Nahla and Zimba said? You do realize Nahla was planning to pretend to fall in love with you and when you get close-slaughter you?" he lied but he sounded like he was telling the truth.
-
"Non will be judged after a few hours." Grandma interrupted him. "You and the others can stay for now and THEN we will decide what happens."
"So it has always been." Grandpa agreed, turning into the direction he thought Nani had gone. "Now come along you two."
Zimba stood a short distance away, not believing his eyes and ears.
-
Nani reached Zimba "Zimba I have a feeling we may have judging" she was right but she didn't know-she didn't hear Grandma "You're gonna have to speak up,tell them your part of our story and what he has done to us...I ahve this feeling they are taking Hades's side"
-
"Faire enough" Hades smiled "I'm sure you'll make the right choice and rid of those three" he referred to his 'mate',daughter and that riff raff Zimba.
Littlefoot scoffed and lead the serach for Nani
-
"That... will be our judgement, not yours." Grandma serenely said. "Come, let's take a walk and then you can tell me your story."
Zimba was torn. He was scared. He did not know whether to listen to Nani, or his instincts that told him to keep silent and make himself as small as possible.
-
"Please Zimba" Nani begged "You got to for ALL our sakes"
-
"Of course" Hades smiled "Ill tell you everything about my true story and you'll see it not ME who is the REAL threat"
Littlefoot stopped seeing Nani "Well there she is" he commented looking behind him at Grandpa "Now what?"
-
"That is for me to judge." Grandma told him, still smiling warmly.
"Nani." Grandpa called out to her. "There better be a very good explanation as to why my wife has to flirt with your ex to keep him from killing someone. And it better come fast or I am going to hit someone."
-
"How would I know? I guess you're wife is a total flirt who can't herself" Nani grumbled standing in front of Zimba "Her and Hades deserve each other, both are idiots" she was filled to the brim with anger and she didn't think she'll be calming down for a while.
-
"Well" Hades began "Nani never liked me,she just used me to be lead female of her old home-my home. She abused Nahla more then anything until she trained her into a killer, now Nahla pretends to full in love with young males of high rank-such as your grandson and when they get close-Nahla slaughters them" he paused "Zimba helps her,he acts all shy and stuff but really-he is insane. Nani will kill you if you let her stay, and your grandson will die from Nahla's ticks. I came here to warn you, what they say about me is a lie, this is the truth"
-
"That would be worrying indeed." Grandma was shocked.
"She answered his bloody ridiculous flirt because it distracted him from breaking your daughter's NECK." Grandpa growled in anger. "She is taking him heaven knows where because she knows that you will be somewhere else. And I had to bloody let her so this did not end in battle. So do not dare insult her again, or you will find I can be far worse than HE could ever dream of being. Now answer my question."
-
Nani looked at him for a moment "I don't need to tell you a thing" she said in forced calm and began walking off nodding to Zimba to follow her.
-
"You can NOT trust them" Hades said "Get rid of them while you can or you''ll end up finding your grandson is a pool of his own blood...if Nani still hasn't killed YOU by then that is...."
-
"Now, now, we can defend ourselves around her." Grandma felt like countering.
"Then get. out. of. this. valley." Grandpa glared at her. "I will not condone threats staying in here. You know where you got in."
-
"I am not the threat!" Nani stormed back and stopped in front of Grandpa "Hades is the threat! Besides,Zimba and Nahla need me you, would you really rip me off them? Zimba is not as strong as he could be-Hades fault and Nahla will die alone-no doubt" the fact that they were mostly likely kicked with her didn't come to her.
-
"Let them stay if you wish, but you'll regret it trust me" he smiled agai.
-
"It is not for me alone to decide, I am afraid." Grandma answered, looking thoughtfull about something. "It is up to the council as a whole."
"Then tell me why or all three of you are finding yourself herded to the nearest exit." Grandpa was not impressed. If anything, he looked slightly pitying at her lack of selfcontrol and this lovely thing called 'common sense'.
Zimba could only meep in fright.
-
Nani snarled "No" she said firmly.
-
"I see..." was all Hades said.
Nahla hadn't moved, she was frozen in fear, she closed her eyes hoping her mother would be considered telling the truth and not her father.
-
"It's not easy to get into power around here." Grandma shrugged. "That Sharptooth I mentioned? He had to try for Night Circle-Changes to get into it. They wouldn't have an easy time if they dared try"
"Then get out of here at once." Grandpa snarled. "You have overstayed your welcome."
-
"I thought your grandson was in charge here, not you" Nani shot back.
-
"Well of course, only the most trusted should have such an honor" the black male said in thought.
Littlefoot just shifted his eyes from Nani to Grandpa and back again not saying a word.
-
"Indeed." Grandma looked around. "Shall we go rest over there for a bit, it's been a busy day for me."
"Well, in theory he is." Grandpa tilted his head to look at the younger male. "But he is not exactly speaking up a lot, is he? Now, are you going to move or do I need to call Chomper and Topps to make you? I much rather that that guy leaves my wife alone as soon as possible."
-
"Bring me my daughter then" Nani said smiling "And we'll leave, but don't say we didnt warn you"
-
"Sure" Hades said but he could not help wonder if she was up to something.
-
She laid down, sighing lightly. "You know, despite what you said, I do feel like my age is catching up with me."
"I think we can safely say that if you leave, so does he." Grandpa turned to walk away. "Bron, find that girl. NOW."
-
Bron sighed and walked off,he went to the resting place and was surprised to to actually find her still there, not saying a word he grabbed her around the neck with his tail, not enough to hurt her in anyway but enough to force her into following. He did not say a word as he drug her back to Grandpa "Here, shall I show them the exit?'
-
"Happens to us all,but you are strong yet amazing for a female you're age most I seen lay around all day,but you stand and protect your family and valley-I'm impressed".
Nahla's eyes were wide in fear, she tried to release her neck but Bron was stronger,it was not hurting her but it was scaring her to death.
-
Grandma chuckled. "Thank you. Though I must admit at times I do laze around all day."
"Yes." Grandpa coolly answered.
-
Bron nodded and tugged at Nahla '"Follow me all of you" he snarled at the three that were to be kicked.
Nani didn't follow instead charging into Bron making him release her daughter "Don't you DARE handle my daughter like THAT!"
-
"And get pampered I hope" Hades added.
Nahla didn't get far before Littlefoot grabbed her "Grandpa,I think we should judge them for who each of them are not as a group..however the older female needs to go,this one and the male shall be judged as shall that Hades"he said
-
"I wish." Grandma rolled her eyes. "Tis surprising how busy one can be when one shares power."
"Then they can start by telling me what the hell is going on, otherwise they can follow her." Grandpa stated, gesturing that Bron should get Nani out.
-
Bron nodded and as he did with Nahla,he drug Nani to the exit by the neck "AND STAY OUT!" he shouted shoving her before turning around.
Nani stared at him eyes narrowed-what a jerk.
-
Hades thought for a moment "I can get you something to eat if you wish" he really needed to get Grandma on HIS side.
Littlefoot glared at Zimba "Get here" he demanded before turning to Grandpa"Grandpa, gather the rest of the council, this requires an official meeting..tell them to meet at the Rock Circle as well ways,if they ask the subject tell them judgement and possible banishment"
-
"That shan't be necessary, thank you." Grandma stretched lightly.
"And finally he starts doing things." Grandpa rolled his eyes as he started to walk away. "I was beginning to fear I'd have to take back my duties."
-
Nani stood outside the valley, she knew she needed a real plan. Not only did her sake depend on this but also the sakes of Nahla and Zimba too.
-
Littlefoot kept dragging Nahla,he was filled with too much anger which was rare for him too to notice how terrified the female was,he stopped in front of Grandma and Hades "Judgement time" he snarled at Hades gripping Nahla's neck.
Hades narrowed his eyes at Littlefoot "Is that so?"
Nahla was stil trying to break free but like Bron,Littlefoot was stronger then her,if she pulled any harder she'll end up choking HERSELF. Terror had filled her eyes.
-
"Littlefoot, there shan't be anyone left to judge if you Choke her to dead first." Grandma rose to her feet, pulling lightly at his tail.
-
Bron came up behind them and snarled at Hades "Get up NOW"
-
Hades muttered something to himself but stood up.
Littlefoot narrowed his eyes at Grandma "She needs to be restrained,if she is anything like her mother who tried to fight Grandpa and insulted you,if she proves her own person she may live here at peace but for now she will be considered dangerous"
Nahla scoffed "Is this how you treat everyone? If so you're an AWFUL leader,a true leader does not judge one on what someone else does but what that one does on their own"
-
"Have to agree with her there." Grandma pulled again. "I shall watch her. You go gather everyone. And Bron, for heaven's sake, what is wrong with you today?"
-
"What are you talking about?" Bron asked "What do you mean what is wrong with me? Nothing is wrong with me"
-
Littlefoot let go but shoved the pink female to the ground,he was not trying to harm her in anyway,he had just lost his temper completely "Don't talk to me like that" he snarled but walked away, same thing would happen if someone insulted his mother-temper explosion.
Nahla hit the ground with a thud and stayed there, she was scared out of her mind, she wanted Zimba and her mother. She wished they never came here, the dinosaurs in THIS valley seemed far from friendly.
-
"Because you are acting worse than Threehorn." Grandma glared at Bron, standing beside the female on the ground. "Look at how your son acted! And you just go and do likewise. Now go calm him down before he does something he'll regret."
Zimba meanwhile was wondering why everyone had just abandoned him and what he was suppossed to do now.
-
Bron just pointed at Nahla "Why are you defending her anyway?" he sounded actually curious and interested "If you let me know I CAN help her too"
-
Littlefoot stormed through the valley,he told all the council members he came across what was going on,he was so angry he felt like just kicking the female now out of spite.
-
"Because she at least deserves some fairness, now shoo. He can't lead a council if he is fuming with anger." Grandma shooed him away, turning to the female on the ground. "I am sorry, Nahla, but he can be a bit... overprotective of family."
Zimba shrugged and went to get some Popcorn. Wasn't like the Scriptwriters remembered him anyway. "Yoh, anyone else want a Cola while I'm out!?"
"Coffee, please!" Came an answer from somewhere.
-
Bron walked looking for his son,he knew someone had to calm Littlefoot down before he got HIMSELF kicked out for violence or murder himself.
-
Nahla just snarled "Go away" she muttered "Your grandson is insane,he is no better then my father I will not be surprised is Littlefoot turns out some kind of murderer himself face it-he is mental"
Littlefoot found someone-Zimba he watched him for a while before walking down to him "YOU!" he called.
-
"That we will still see." Grandma soothed her. "Now c'mon, let's get this behind us."
OH shit, camera's! He quickly threw the cola in the bushes. "Y.... yes?" He looked at Littlefoot with big eyes. And back into character it was...
-
Nani had enough, she stormed back into valley caring less if she was caught, she'll fight if she had too.She was not leaving not knowing what was happening to Nahla and Zimba.
-
Nahla nodded and stood up but she was still terrified as anything.
"Judgement time" Littlefoot answered "You can come willingly or by force"
-
Grandma waited until she was on her feet before she started walking to the Rock Circle.
"Willingly..." Zimba whispered.
Grandpa had meanwhile finished his coffee and now also moved towards the Rock Circle.
-
Nani walked around, hoping to find where the judging was.
-
"Good" Littlefoot began walking "Follow".
Nahla didn't follow Grandma instead she took off running in another direction.
-
Zimba meekly followed Littlefoot.
Grandma looked at the fleeing female, mentally groaning in her mind. 'Foolish child.' She thought, seeing someone having taken up pursuit of the pink female.
Grandpa wove through the trees with practiced ease, arriving at the Circle.
-
Bron arrived at the rock circle after having no luck finding his son, with a sigh he took his place.
-
Littlefoot arrived and shoved Zimba "Stand in the middle unti you're called forward" he walked to his spot where the Spokesperson stood,he and a few other council members death glared Zimba.
Nahla ran now aware she was being chased "GET AWAY!" she screamed back to whoever it was.
-
Grandma arrived with Hades in tow, briefly gesturing him to the side as she walked to her own spot. "Nahla is on her way." She told Littlefoot.
Can't do. Can't stop. Must bring down. The Sharptooth - tinted a dark-green - ran after the pink female, easily catching up to her. He rammed her side, throwing her off balance.
-
"I thought she was with you" Bron stated.
-
"Wheres Nani?" Hades asked pretending to be surprised.
"Already been kicked" Littlefoot answered "Grandpa gave her judgment and banished her,I approved so it official"
Nahla screamed as she landed on her side, screaming again when she landed on her leg,a fresh bleeding wound was on it. Nothing was broken and it would heal however, but man did it hurt and she was sure this would give her a limp for a week or two. She flicked her tail at the sharprtooth to get away.
-
The Sharptooth easily dodged her tail-slap, growling at her. "You are not meant to be here."
"I asked Chomper to take care of it." Grandma answered. "I cannot keep track of two that are to be judged, thank you very much."
-
Bron frowned hearing female screaming but didn't say a word.
-
Nahla's eyes rose in shock when this sharptooth starting speaking in leaf eater "Get away or else" she warned whipping her tail "I'll fight you and you'll be sorry"
-
His laugh sounded more like a sharp bark, sharp teeth gleaming in the light of the Bright Circle. "I doubt it, Longneck. Now, are you going to go where you need to be or do I have to make you?"
-
Bron sighed with boredom and glanced at Grandma "So where is she?" he asked.
-
Nahla scoffed "YOU can't MAKE me do anything!" she snarled "I'm a full grown longneck you know"
-
"I am a full-grown Sharptooth with the backing of this valley." He countered. "Guess whom they're gonna help? Hint: not the one with the long neck. Now get back to the Circle, last warning."
-
Bron sighed again "Man Mama Longneck was stupid letitng that Nahla go...we'll never get out of here because she will never come" he muttered hoping Grandma would not hear.
-
Nahla just lashed out with her tail "I do NOT trust you,you could be leading me somewhere to eat me for all I know" she huffed '"If I'm wanted, get a LEAF EATER to come for me"
-
"Chomper can deal with her easily." GRandma countered, pointing into the distance for her tail.
"Why would they bother?" Chomper took the hit in stride. "My turn." He switched back to Sharptooth and attacked.
-
"If he doesn't kill her first.." Bron said
-
"That will solve that problem for us" Littlefoot said quite rudely.
Nahla screamed and used her head to bash the sharptooth, she knew she had to get up,she was way too vulnerable on the ground but with a sharptooth right over her....she attempted to bash the sharptooth again.
-
"Girl, Littlefoot hits harder when he SLEEPS." The Sharptooth snapped at her neck.
The two elder Longneck sighed, wondering what the Scriptwriter had been drinking.
-
Nani heard the cries of her daughter, she frowned when she saw a sharptooth attacking her and nobody seemed to be helping-oh that sharptooth was going to pay.
-
Littlefoot sighed and got up "I'm going to go step in" he said leaving the circle.
Nahla kicked out with a hind leg "Back off!" she warned "I'll kill you if you don't leave" she threatened though she knew it was hopeless.
-
"Heh... You can't even kill a Fuzzy..." Chomper taunted.
-
Nani narrowed her eyes and edged closer waiting for the perfect moment.
-
Nahla growled "ONE last chance"
"Chomper?" a voice called as Littlefoot walked forward,he death glared Nahla with disgust and it made sure everyone sure it "Is there a problem?"
-
"Naw, she just thinks she's big and capable." Chomper shrugged, grinning lightly. "Oh, and she doesn't want to come and I can't drag her 'cause Longneck."
-
"Shouldn't we help?" Bron asked "Who knows what that girl will do"
-
"Is that so?" Littlefoot asked glaring down at Nahla chuckling "I guess she needs to be taught a little lesson on respecting those of higher rank, don't you agree?"
Nahla snarled "Back off! I can kill you both!" this girl sure did not back down.
-
"We're talking about Chomper here." Grandma reminded him. "Then again, that probably means we need to help Nahla..."
"I like this new Littlefoot. What did she do?" Chomper chuckled, walking around the female. "Kill someone?"
-
Bron stood up "Someone stay and watch those two" he pointed to Zimba and Hades and took off to find Chomper and the girl.
-
"Well.." Littlefoot stood over Nahla "She is hear on a murder scheme lead by her father" Littlefoot explained "Her mother already went after Grandpa, that is why she is due to be judged...though I don't see the point..she won't pass if I had the say in it" he looked at Chomper "Sounds harsh but she needs to be taught a lesson of some sort...hmmm..."
-
Zimba was meanwhile sneakily checking the script. Chomper was waiting for the excuse to bite the girl that had taken the last cup of Tridouble Cappocino with extra Milk.
-
"LITTLEFOOT! CHOMPER!" Bron called hoping to find them before Nahla was torn to pieces.
-
Littlefoot stopped walking "I don't like her..and you know me I like nearly everyone but I HATE HER!" he pointed to Nahla.
"Hate you too, freak" Nahla snarled "You and you and the pea-brain..oh he calls himself a sharptooth sorry" man would these guys just go away?
-
"So that means I can bite her?" Chomper asked him. "Exit or Circle?"
-
Nani was just watching all this unfold looking amused,if they touch her daughter they'll be begging for their lives.
-
"Circle" Littlefoot answered sternly she looked down at Nahla "Enough being stubborn GET UP" he tugged at her neck with his tail.
"Will you stop that?" Nahla snapped "Or I really will murder you!"
-
"WAIT! CUT!" The Director ran onto the field. "I gave you guys the wrong script!"
-
Bron arrived on the scene "Nahla, please just get up everyone is waiting. You,Chomper and Littlefoot can murder each other LATER. Not now" he nudged her hard enough to make her want to stand.
-
Nahla stood holding her injured leg off the ground "Happy now?".
"Yes lets go" Littlefoot lead her,it didn't take long before they finally got to the Rock Circle "Ok she is here-at last" Littlefoot told her to stand by Hades, after making sure she obeyed he retook his place "Alright we can begin,Grandpa care to explain whats going on?"
-
He wondered why Littlefoot - the one he had given his position - didn't use it. After a short and near inaudible sigh he told the Council what had happened.
-
Bron rose his voice now serious "Littlefoot shall call you forth and when so,you must state your TRUE claim or face exile"
-
"ZIMBA!" Littlefoot called "You may came forth and speak" he addressed eyeing the red male.
-
Not enough cola in system...
Zimba shyly stepped forth and told his story.
-
"He seems truthful" Bron said "I give him a pass,I think he should be able to stay-just keep him on careful watch for a few days"
-
"Hmm.." Littlefoot stepped down and circled Zimba "He does not seem dangerous to me,his story can be believed" he went back to his spot 'I give him a pass,if at Chomper and my one or both Grandparents approve Zimba may become an official resident of The Great Valley"
-
"We second it." Grandpa spoke, not even needing to look at his wife. Chomper too nodded from where he was standing.
-
"Then Zimba you're an official resident of The Great Valley" Bron said walked up to him "Go make yourself at home,or you can watch the other judgings, your call"
-
"Nahla" Littlefoot glared over in disgust "Tell us your story and make it quick so I don't have to look at your face very long.
Nahla limped over and looked up at the council for a moment before breaking down in sobs.
"That will not work, get talking" Littlefoot snarled.
"Well it all began when.." she was cut off by her father's snoring.
-
"Littlefoot." Grandma admonished him sharply as Zimba moved to the side. "For heaven's sake, what is WRONG with you today? Let the girl talk, and stop insulting her at every step. Or I will start getting really angry here and kicking YOU out."
-
Bron walked over to Hades and shook him awake "Your daughter being judged, thought you would liek to watch" he said walking back to his spot.
-
Hades hid a smirking and glared at Zimba when he realized the red male been accepted.
"Oh shut up" Littlefoot muttered quietly.
"Well..like I was going to say..." she went on explained about how Hades abused her and how Nani,Zimba and her ran away to here to try and escape him but he followed, how Hades terrified and haunted her thoughts.
"LIES! ALL LIES!" Hades called out from where he stood.
-
"I back Nahla." Grandma spoke up, ignoring her grandsons increasingly erratic behavior. "I can see him be like that."
Grandpa nodded in agreement.
-
"I vote Nahla stays" Bron said pointing her "Look at all the cuts on her, something had indeed happened to her. I support her story of abuse and she should stay where it safe-here"
-
Hades scoffed "I didn't abuse her,I told that Grandma before-it was Nani!"
Littlefoot ignored him "I vote-we kick her she does not deserve to be here"he snarled, something was strange..was like he turned evil yet it was only Nahla he was like this towards.
-
"Littlefoot!" An anger-filled scream, horror brimming just under the surface. "ENOUGH! She stays. YOU leave."
-
Bron jumped at that "Uhh...someone needs to calm a bit"
-
Littlefoot was now completely ticked off,he glared at Nahla "GET OUT OF MY VALLEY!" he screamed.
Nahla lowered her head and took a step back.
-
Grandpa rammed his grandson. "No. You get out. NOW."
-
Bron stepped forward "Woah woah woah, calm down!"
-
Littlefoot was stunned,he never thought GRANDPA would attack HIM. In self defense and without thinking he whipped Grandpa across the ehad with his tail,it didn't quite hit him what he had just done until he had walked a few feet away.
-
"Out..." Grandpa's voice deepened and grew more lethally silent. It turned dangerous. A welt was already appearing there were his grandson had hit him. "You and Hades... Out now."
-
"You can't kick out Littlefoot!" Bron complained "He is your own grandson!"
-
"Hey what did I do?" Hades complained.
Littlefoot snarled before laughing "You're not serious,Grandpa you and Grandma love me,you'll never kick me"
-
"We loved our grandson." Grandma sharply stated. "Our grandson who loved us. You attacked your grandfather and innocents. You are not the Littlefoot we raised. You are nothing to us. Now take this... this... being..." She pointed at Hades. "And leave the Valley this instant."
-
"How long you plan to kick him for anyway?" Bron nodded to Littlefoot.
-
Littlefoto just rolled his eyes, these were his GRANDPARENTS,they would not really do this.
-
OOC: Seriously, can ONE of your characters EVER take someone seriously, Nana? It's bloody irritating that I have to drag stuff out cause someone goes 'Nah, wouldn't do that' after several times being told to the contrary.
"Until he remembers who he is." Grandma snarled as her husband whip-cracked at their former grandson, keeping his tailtip just this little from the other's flesh.
-
Bron shook his head "What is up with him anyway?" he asked shocked "Suddenly he...whats the word?" he paused "Evil I guess"
-
"I am not 'evil' Littlefoot said,it finally hit him his Grandparents were serious "Why?' he asked staring at his Grandparents "How can you turn your back on me like this?"
-
"Because we love you." Grandma stated, tears in her eyes. "No, because we love our grandson. And it seems you have no realization of consequence anymore. And so we give you one. You do not want to be around Nahla? Well, she is staying, so YOU leave. You believe the male that would hurt others for nothing and has no respect? Very well, leave with him. And do it now. Lest you kill someone."
-
"Gee,this valley sure loves kicking everyone out-even it's own leader now" a female voice came as Nani walked forward "Seriously" .
"Ain't YOU meant to be kicked yourself?" Bron questioned.
-
Littlefoot closed his eyes as actual tears started "Why is she staying exactly? And why does that mean I need to go? I can't stand the sight of her but isn't kicking me out of the valley going too far?" he stomped his foot "This is MY home I LIVE HERE,that...thing" he pointed to Nahla as said 'that thing' "Is an unwelcomed guest".
Hades was laughing "Ohh this is too funny,I love watching family bonds break..reminds me of Nahla's bone when I stepped on her leg when sh was a child..purpose of course" he laughed seeming to forgot his whole 'pretend to be good guy' plan "Oh may I add I never loved Nani? I just wanted her for looks" he carried on like he thought he just speaking to Littlefoot, this guy had the IQ of....something with a natural low IQ.
Littlefoot stared at him, realizing Nahla was telling the truth-Hades was in the wrong. Tears filled his eyes and he lowered his head-he was a fool! He was a monster! The flashback of his attack on the female replayed in his mind. He nearly killed her...all because he believed some stranger.
"Awww look who realized the stinking truth" Hades walked up to him "You actually thought I liked you's? Please,I do like your Grandmother but only cause of looks. This was part of my plan you know? This valley won't trust their leader anymore..and I also managed to make your own grandparents hate your guts-double bonus!" he smiled,he successfully corrupted Littlefoot. He was just trying to bring him down more as he knew Littlefoot was already shattered "They HATE you!" he thought for a moment "I'll just destroy you for them" he looked at Grandma and Grandpa smiling something that was too creepy to be called just 'evil' "Would you like to say a few last words to your grandson-or should I say enemy now?" he kept up with his smile wrapping his tail around Littlefoot's neck just as he did with Nahla, but this time it was a death grip Hades looked at Littlefoot "Do you want to say something to them?".
Littlefoot nodded and looked over to his family and Nahla "I'm so sorry.." he said a tear falling "I never meant to cause anyone pain I wish I could take it all back..I'm so sorry Nahla I horribly judged you without a fair chance..thing is when I first you I kinda..loved you..then it all started..." he took a breath "Dad I am sorry if I have ashamed you....I know Mother will be disgusted.." he looked Grandpa in the eye "I'm sorry Grandpa, sorry for attacking you...I don't know what came over me..you always cared for me and raised me...look what I did to you" finally he looked at Grandma "Grandma,I want you to you know you were wrong,I am NOT amazing. You were right when you said I was an idiot and hopeless, since we lost Mother I looked up to you as one..you're the best..and now I've gone and ruined the bond we shared....you and Grandpa may not love me anymore..but I still ove you's..." he closed his eyes and said what he thought were going to be his final words "I wish you all happy and healthy lives".
Nahla had tears in her eyes and she walked up to Grandma "Save him.." she whispered to just her "He should not need to die,my father messed with him don't hold it on Littlefoot..please" Nahla would do it herself but Hades terrified her.
OOC: Ok bout time Hades got to do his darn job xD and no Littlefoot will not die,he'll be all okay.
I had this in mind ever since I made Littlefoot 'evil' xD. All part of Hades plan, but it was not meant to be exactly like this but oh well. And you heard me,Hades has the IQ of something with a low IQ xD.
-
"If he wants me for my looks, I do wonder what kind of standards he has." Grandma rolled her eyes. "And Littlefoot, we'll have this talk later. First I think we need to kick someone out."
-
Nani roared and charged crashing into Hades "This family may hate me,but you will not hurt him" she snarled "I will not allow you to hurt Littlefoot so do not even attempt"
-
Hades lost his grip on Littlefoot when Nani rammed him "I'll teach you to mess with my plans you piece of pink trash" he got ready to swing his tail but then Littlefoot grabbed HIM.
"As leader of The Great Valley council,I hereby send you to lifetime of exile for the crimes of-attempted murder, abuse, false claims during judging, and child abuse you so foolishly admitted to."
Haded snarled and looked at the other adults "He can't do that! Right?"
-
"He only can't do things if the Council opposes him." Chomper shrugged. "Doesn't like that to me, at least. I back him."
-
"I back him too" Bron said and he looked at Grandma and Grandpa "I take it you're not exiling Littlefoot himself anymore?"
-
Hades scoffed "I thought it was already made offical.Which means he is not leader anymore so that also means his orders have no real power to them,he can't exile me when he is exiled himself"
-
"Darling, it'd only get official as soon as we made it. And THAT we will talk about later." Grandma smiled serenely at him. "Once we have made YOUR leave official. Which will happen soonish."
"Around the time I kick your ass for making a pass at my wife." Grandpa agreed.
-
"Am I still exiled?" Nani asked quietly.
-
Hades laughed in Grandpa's face "YOU? Kick MY ass?" he snorted with laughter "Please, you will never beat me" he smirked,he had kinda figured out Bron was the son-in-law not real son,so their daughter was the weak Littlefoot's mother "You're weak and it has passed on-to your daughter who dies from a little sharptooth attack, and she passed on the weakness to your grandson who still has to get his Grandparents to save his butt even though he is meant to be a grown up- pathetic"
Littlefoot's blood was boiled again,he insulted his mother-big mistake when Littlefoot was right there,he got ready to charge.
-
Grandpa chuckled and within short order he was laughing outright. Everyone kinda looked at him wondering if he had snapped and was now completely barking.
Zimba even forgot to sneakily sip at his cola.
Grandma herself seemed quite amused too.
-
Bron gulped "Papa Longneck? You okay?"
-
Littlefoot was about to lunge forward when Nahla got in front of him.
"Don't" she warned "I doubt you alone can take on my father, you're best not even attempting I can tell you are not very experienced in battle against other leaf eaters".
Littlefoot scoffed "I can take him down" he said stubbornly but was also starting to calm down it was just when someone insult his mother he lost his normally very long temper.
-
Grandpa kept chuckling, slowly calming down. "Did you not listen? Grandma was followed by herds worth of admirers in her youth. I got her. Bring it on."
-
Nani gulped and backed off knowing there was going to be trouble.
-
Hades just chuckled "You are going to regret this" as he said it he struck Grandpa across the legs with his tail before stepping back "Oh one more thing-if I win" he nodded to Grandma "I get her" he chuckled "Now try and show me a real fight,I think you'll find me quite the challenging opponent-sure you're old bones can keep up?"
-
"Oh, I doubt you'd get her. She'd divorce immediately cause you can't satisfy her." Grandpa simply IGNORED the hit against his legs, instead swinging his own tail towards Hades' neck. "Now please, how about YOU show me I have old bones? I swear, if that was suppossed to be a hard hit, I think Littlefoot will be a bigger threat to me than you, boy."
-
"This not going to end well for one of them..." Bron muttered
-
Nahla got between them and end up taking Grandpa's hit towards Hades but she bared it "Please..don't fight...there must be another way then violence"
Hades wasted no time in striking Nahla ans bashing her againt one of the tall rocks that formed the circle "Stay out of it you worthless creature" he snarled and turned back to "Grandpa, now where were we? Oh yeah..." he rose up on his hind legs and got ready to smash the other males back.
-
"Oh for heaven's sake." Grandpa swiftly turned, ramming himself against Hades' legs while using the momentum to get out from under him. "Standing up was effective the first three times it happened to me, you foolish brat."
Zimba snuck out to get some popcorn. And a camera cause Grandpa was not using a stunt-double for this.
-
Nani slowly walked up to her daughter and nudged her to get hers, she frowned seeing the fresh marks from Hades's attack just a few minutes ago.
-
"It hurts..." Nahla complained "But it'll be okay...being beaten is nothing new..."
Hades wrapped his tail around Grandpa's neck "Lets see you get your way outta this old timer" he laughed and gripped tighter.
-
Okay, was he ever going to try something new? Sheesh, Grandma's father had done that several times to him as well.
Grandpa strained his neck, and swung his own tail, not to wrap around the other's neck, but to hit his head. Hard.
-
Nani looked up in time to see it and gasped, now shed didn't know who terrified her more-Grandpa or Hades.
-
Hades stumbled back stunned, blood dripped from his head "Not bad... but..." he began charging forward again only to stumble,he stayed there pretty much admitting defeat,he glared at Grandpa with murderous anf firey eyes.
-
"You were saying?" Grandpa smiled down upon him serenely.
-
"Woah..." Bron said quietly to Grandma "Papa Longneck is strong for some old guy that should be damn retired by now"
-
"Alright old timer" Hades said standing up "You win.now tell me what itis you want" he snorted with the anger he was defeated, though the look on his face said 'this is not over'.
-
"I think he was holding back, actually." Grandma mused with a face of pure enjoyement.
"Get out, and never come back. Or I will kill you." Grandpa darkly ordered.
-
Bron frowned "Gee..I'll hate to see him in full rage then"
-
Hades turned and began stumbling his way to the exit,he looked over his shoulder "I'll give you a fair warning-you have may of won the battle today. But the war is just beginning-trust me this is FAR from over" with that he left sight-and the valley.
-
"I can go after him and finish this?" Chomper offered. "I doubt he could defend himself from me..."
-
"Alright with me" Nani said darkly.
-
"No" Littlefotot said "I will not allow any death no matter how much one deserves it,if I find out someone has 'taken care of Hades' there WILL be punishment" he said glaring at Chomper as he said it "Also" he said turning around "I revoke Nani's exile and Nahla gets my pass for judgement..I am sorry I acted like such a fool before"
-
"I have to object to your judgement to Hades." Grandpa spoke up. "He is dangerous and has no qualms about killing others, he will try to get in here to get his revenge and even if he does not, he will spread trouble to others. It would be downright irresponsible letting him live. While I agree that dead is unacceptable, sometimes unacceptable things have to be done for the greater good."
-
Bron stayed quiet debating where ever to agree with Grandpa or Littlefoot finally he spoke up "Would there be another option rather then death for him?"
-
Littlefoot thought-send Hades to death and finish it or just let him ago? Now he was back to normal and calm the thought of being part of someones death on purpose stressed him,he was glad he didn't kill Nahla,he sighed "I can't do it...I won't take a life away,I feel bad enough failing to kill someone when I wanted to.." he nodded to Nahla "I don't even what to know how I will feel if succeed.." he looked up "But do it if you's want-become like him" he said no more and walked away.
Nahla tilted her head "He has changed again..one minute he was super nice..next he was a killer and now he is back to kind....is he always like that?"
-
"No, and there was a time when he knew when to take a life. Compassion is a great virtue to have, but it should not be blind." Grandpa nodded briefly at Chomper. Hades was just too dangerous to let walk around. Chomper got the hint and went after the black Longneck.
-
Nani cleared her throat 'I'm sorry for the way I acted before,it just Hades had me threatened not to say anything"
-
"Threatened?" Littlefoot questioned.
Hades walked through the Mysterious Beyond, the figures of the Great Valley walls were getting smaller and smaller,he snarled-he would be back for revenge, that he swore on.
-
Chomper easily found the trail again, following it.
Zimba was meanwhile unsure what he should be doing now. A short distance away the two Grandparents were softly talking with one another. He wondered about what.
-
Nani walked over to Zimba "You okay?" she asked "They didn't hurt you in anyway?"
-
Littlefoot walked towards Grandpa head lowered "Grandpa, sorry I attacked you,if you hate me now-I understand,I don't know what came over me-i was like Hades had control over me-but how could he do that? You were just protecting the innocent while I protected the criminal..please..I beg for you and Grandma's forgiveness"
-
"What do you want me to say now? 'It's okay, we all have those days'?" Grandpa said, disappointment in his voice. "I thought I raised you better, but this..." He could not find the words.
-
Bron opened his mouth to have his say but closed it again realizing it would be better if he didn't.
-
Littlefoot didn't say anything just kept his gaze to the ground.
Nahla slowly got up and walked over to her mother and Zimba "Is it tense in here or is just me?"
-
"Well, he did slap his grandfather..." Zimba murmured, watching as the two old Longnecks walked away, leaving their grandson to his thoughts.
-
Bron quickly followed the older longnecks "So..what are you's going to do with Littlefoot?"he asked "He is full of guilt and think you's hate him-do you's really?" he sighed "I will never undertstand what came over him though"
-
"True..and he was actually going to kill me" Nahla said "And dad did not help" she nodded to the cuts on her back she got while trying to stop the fighting "Also...that Grandpa kinda scares me..." she admitted.
-
Zimba nodded in agreement.
"Neither do we." Grandma looked over her shoulder briefly. "It's not just about what WE think, it's about the Valley as well. Grandpa did banish him. The Valley must now decide whether it is valid. But we shall not involve ourselves with this. Let them do what they will..."
-
"Papa Longneck-do you really want to see your own grandson banished?" Bron asked "I understand why you did it but-do you really want it?"
-
Littlefoot turned his head to face Zimba,Nani and Nahla "What you's talking about over there?"
"Nothing" Nahla quickly said "Right,Zimba?" she chuckled/
-
"Just wondering where... well, where to go from here..." Zimba shrugged.
"I keep myself out of it." Grandpa repeated Grandma's sentiment. "The Valley must decide."
-
"And what if they DO decide to kick him?" Bron kept asking questions
-
Littlefoot thought for a moment "Rest around here tonight" he said "You'll get your permanent spot tomorrow, sorry about the delay but-you know whats going on right now"
-
Zimba nodded.
"Then he is kicked, and has to leave for however long they seem fit." Grandpa answered. "Seriously, you know the rules as well as we do. What are you asking for?"
-
Bron sighed,"better deal with it now rather then later-if and I mean IF Littlefoot is dangerous...no good keeping around. But I refuse to believe my son is a dangerous killer and I am willing to prove that"
-
"Right...I'll leave you's be now" Littlefoot turned and began walking back to the resting place he shared with his Grandparents and father.
"I hope we never have to see...dad...again" Nahla said suddenly.
-
Zimba nodded in agreement.
"We take our hands off of it." They said in unison. "Tell Threehorn to precide."
-
"As you wish" Bron sighed walking to find the three-horn.
-
Nahla yawned loudly, she was completely worn out.she had to lean against Zimba to keep her feet she was that tired.
-
Heavy... Zimba meanwhile had trouble holding her and himself upright. Not that he was gonna complain.
-
Nani chuckled "Why don't you just go to bed Nahla?'
-
Nahla had fallen asleep, now pressing her whole weight against Zimba her head buried in his neck.
-
"She has..." Zimba answered the elder female. "And I am the bed..." >_<
-
Nani chuckled "Want me to wake and get her off you?"
Bron finally found Mr Threehorn and walked up to him "Uhh.." he said not sure how to say this "Papa Longneck banished Littlefoot..but it ain't official wherever it is or not until we get your say...so what is your say? Can Littlefoot stay?"
-
Littlefoot was just relaxing,he yawned and closed his eyes-what a day.
-
"Would... be... appreciated..." Zimba muttered, legs shaking from the effort of remaining upright.
-
The threehorn was shocked for a moment "Banished Littlefoot? Hmmm what he do?"
Bron sighed and explained everything,Littlefoot attacking Nahla and Grandpa..attempting to kill Nahla, abuse of his postion...
Mr Threehorn scoffed "In that case, kick him and get him out now...for life"
Nani walked over and nudged Nahla "Nahla, wake up dear...you're squishing Zimba"
-
Nahla moaned and opened her eyes "Whaaaat?" she then saw Zimba "Oh" she got off him and walked back "Sorry"
-
"I think... we've outgrown the pillow-fase of our lives." Zimba smiled at her, discretely cracking his back.
-
Bron sighed "Of course...I'll go inform them" he sadly walked off knowing he would have to give his own son the boot. He reached Grandma and Grandpa "Threehorn approves of Littlefoot's banishment,I suggest you go say goodbye to him if you're wanting to now"
-
Nahla poked her tongue out at Zimba "You never liked it when we were young either"
-
"Cause I'd get cramps..." Zimba countered.
Something broke in their eyes as he said that. They walked away without another word.
-
Bron followed after them "Mama and Papa Longneck?" he said trying to get them to speak.
-
Littlefoot by then awoke and was surprised when he walked into his Grandparents and Bron "Whats going on?" he asked.
Nahla giggled "Oh shake it off you big hatchling"
-
They only briefly glanced at him, then continued walking.
"I couldn't back then cause you were ON ME." He pointed out.
-
Bron opened his mouth to answer but...
Mr Threehorn as well as other valley residents grabbed Littlefoot, and Littlefoot being a fully grown longneck they needed as many as they had "Time to go longneck, you are no longer a Great Valley resident, you are being set lifetime banishment"
-
"WHAT?!!" Littlefoot screamed and tried to break away "GRANDMA! GRANDPA! HELP ME HERE!" he screamed.
Nahla jumped hearing the screams "Sounds like something bad is going on" she said quietly.
-
"Maybe that thing... where Littlefoot got banished?" Horrible realization filled Zimba. "Oh..."
-
Bron watched as his son was starting to get forced out of the valley,he turned and sprinted after Grandma and Grandpa "Aren't you going to say something?" he asked.
-
Littlefoto struggled all the way "Let me go"
Nahla looked into the distance "I wish we could do something..."
-
"There is nothing to be said." Grandma murmured. "He is banished, we cannot overturn that decision. Nor should we."
-
"Nothing to be said?" Bron questioned "How about 'goodbye' or 'we love you'? do you really want Littlefoot to so full of hate of himself he takes his own life? Not saying he is one to do that but..." Bron sighed "Just say something to him...please"
-
Nahla sighed and buried her head in Zimba as she hugged him (in a friend manner) "Life isn't fair"
-
"There is nothing to be said." Grandpa countered. "And I think we will be dead first, Bron. Not he."
-
Bron blinked in shock "What?" that was all he could say.
-
Nahla pulled away "I'm hungry..I'm getting dinner..you want to come Zimba?"
-
"Sure..." He answered. "Think there are rules about where...?"
"Grief can kill." Grandma pointed out, following her husband.
-
"Grief? He ain't dead" Bron said following them.
"Well one of those old longnecks...forgot which one, told me the green is for all. So I guess you just pick a spot and eat" Nani finally spoke up "You two go ahead,I'm going to rest for a while. I'll eat later"
-
"Ok mum, lets go Zimba" Nahla began walking off looking for a nice place to eat.
-
"kay." Zimba followed her.
"He might as well be."
-
Bron got in front of them "Come on,you's are acting like you's don't care about anything anymore..you's are worrying me"
-
Nahla not looking where she was going walked right off the edge of a little cliff over a mud hole, she screamed as she fell in with a splash.
-
Zimba... could only think 'must not laugh, must not laugh...'
"Is there anything left to care about?" Grandpa asked. "Leave us, Bron."
-
"Theres still a LOT left, what makes you think theres nothing?" Bron kept going on.
-
Nahla got out of the mud now covered in it "Oh great" she said "Anyone know where a water hole is?"
-
"I think a Thundering Fall might be beter." Zimba supressed his giggles.
"LEAVE US!" Grandpa roared.
-
"Please let me help you" Bron said but backing off.
-
"Funny hah?" Nahla asked narrowing her eyes at Zimba knowing he was trying not to laugh "Well laugh at this" she flicked her long tail sending mud flying onto Zimba.
-
"Bron. Just... just leave us." Grandma whispered. "Please.."
Zimba: :confused
-
Bron sighed and began walking away "I bet it would mean a lot to him,to hear you say you love him" with that said he walked on.
-
Nahla turned around and began heading to the Thundering Falls with a huff.
-
"But it would only kill us faster." Grandpa murmured under his breath.
Zimba followed her, well out of range of any wayward mud that might come his way.
-
Meanwhile Mr Threehorn rammed Littlefoot out of the exit of the valley "Never return" he snarled.
-
Littlefoot looked back at the valley that had been his home for nearly his whole life-but it was not home anymore "As you wish" he said figuring it would be better to just go then cause more trouble, then without looking back-he left.
-
"This... this place is really nice..." Zimba said, looking around him as they walked.
-
Bron got to the exit-too late. He sighed tears starting as he saw his son leaving..he didn't even say goodbye even though he had the chance. He turned and walked off.
-
"Yeah it is" Nahla quickly agreed, they reached the Thundering Falls and Nahla wasted no time in washing herself down 'Much better" she commented as the water ran off her pink body taking the mud with it.
-
"Is it wrong for me to be tired...?" Zimba murmured. "And no, I will not be your pillow. Go lay on your mom."
-
Bron walked passed Grandma and Grandpa with nothing more said "He's gone"
-
"Aww you're not fun" Nahla complained walking off a few feet before settling down seeming to forget Littlefoot told them to sleep near the Rock Circle-but he was gone wasn't he? So does his words matter now?
-
They said nothing in return.
-
Bron arrived at the resting place and plopped down sobbing,he would never see his son again-how could he survive out there alone for the rest of his life?
-
Nahla was soon fast asleep, her dreams were peaceful and not nightmares for the first time in a long while.
-
Zimba had some more trouble, because as soon as she fell asleep, Nahla started using him as pillow again. For heaven's sake...
-
Nani wandered around the valley looking for someone-she found them. She walked up next to Grandma and Grandpa and cleared her throat.
-
Nahla was perefctly happy using Zimba as a pillow, she didn;t move at all. She was fast asleep.
-
"Yes?" They looked at her questioningly.
-
"I'm...." Nani wondered how to say it "I'm sorry about your grandson...must hurt to have to kick him,I hope he doesn't get the illness.....if the rumor about it is true"
-
Littlefoot dropped to the ground too worn out to carry on more today,he laid in the middle of the dangerous Mysterious Beyond, but the evening know he was in a dangerous area he drifted off to sleep with ease.
-
Meanwhile, the Director's assistant finally fixed the camera. "There ya go. Next time, let a Dinosaur with hands do this..."
-
Nani shifted "I'm sure you'll get over it...you'll forget about him soon enough" she said the wrong thing and realized it "I didn't mean it like that"
-
Hades still wandered, unknown to both of them but Littlefoot was following Hades trail. Hades was planning war against the Great Valley,he'll just stay away from it for a week or so to make them think he actually left-then he'll strike. Yawning he realized he was tired so he laid down and rested his head on the dusty earth,he snarled at nothing. He knew it would take a bit before he fell asleep-like always.
-
"We had entirely too many of this things happening to us." Grandma whispered. "Please, leave us alone."
-
"You should talk about it" Nani said not budging-she could be stubborn as her daughter "Keeping everything bottled up won't help"
-
Nahla awoke thirsty, still unaware she was pretty much crushing Zimba,
-
"If we talk, that certainly not to strangers who do not know this family, no matter how well-meaning."
Can't... breathe... Gotta... sleep... other... side... valley... Ugh...
-
Nani snorted "You two are awfully stubborn" she walked closer "You didn't want to do it did you?"
-
Nahla stood up getting off Zimba, still being half asleep she was not alert and did not notice when she walked on Zimba's foot as she headed to find water.
-
Neither answered her. They had said all there was to be said.
Zimba slept on, cause he had no toes Nahla could step on and so he didn't notice her leaving. Aside from the fact that he could MOVE!
-
Nani sighed..these two were impossible! She got right in her faces "Listen, moping like this WILL NOT HELP! Don't you get the duties off Littlefoot now?" she questioned 'Well that makes you's the leaders-a leader must be fit and not focusing on their own troubles but focusing on those all share. Right now you're focusing on your own and unfit to lead. I did not know Littlefoot, but I do have spite against him after what he did to my daughter but I would never want him to come to serious harm or death. For the sake of everyone in this valley-SUCK IT UP AND GET OVER IT" Nahla backed off-once she starting speaking her mind..there was no stopping her.
-
After Nahla drank she decided to go check on her mother, she wandered until she spotted her-and the grandparents. She stopped where she was trying to hear what was going on. Though she stood out-being bright pink and white.
-
"We stepped down." Grandpa stated in a monotone voice. "The Council will decide a replacement for our grandson."
-
Nani scoffed "Still, stop your moping. It ain't that serious, dinosaurs are going to come and go-surely at your age you BOTH know that" Nani had been hardened by her time with Hades, she says what she think is the right thing but it ends up doing more damage "Littlefoot is gone,he is NOT coming back. I heard them say it.Littlefoot's got lifetime banishment so just deal with it. Yes it ok to miss him but this is just....you're acting like he died in front of your eyes-he is living and breathing just not living here anymore-just tell yourselves he moved out"
-
Nahla blinked in surprise at her mothers words-now she knew where she got her own stubborn streak from....
-
"You have become a creation of Hades..." Grandma mused. "You have forgotten what it means to care."
-
"I care unlike YOU" Nani started syaing without thinking "I look after my daughter Nahla and even raised and still look after Zimba like my own son-I CARE" she stomped her foot "UNLIKE YOU!" she shouted "You kick your own flesh and blood out of his home without hearing his side of the story you are the one who need to learn to care!"
-
Nahla looked over her shoulder and back towards the small group "Oh mum....you really done it now..."
-
The sound of a tail hitting flesh hard resounded in the air.
-
That sound was followed by a shriek out pain-coming from Nani "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR?!!" she screamed "DO YOU JUST ENJOY HURTING OTHERS?!! GO JOIN HADES THEN!"
-
Nahla ran forward "MUM! MUM ARE YOU OKAY?!!" she stopped by her mothers side and looked at Grandpa in fear...what was it with old males and scaring her to death?
-
"You enjoy hurting others. You are truly the wife of Hades." Grandma defended her husband. "As petty as he is."
-
Nani was outraged "How DARE you compare me to HIM!" she snarled she pulling Nahla closer by the neck but released her again "And how dare you speak of him in front of Nahla,do you know what he has done to her?"
-
Nahla didn't say anything, her gaze just drifted to the ground..she wanted out of here.
-
"You have become him in absensia." Grandpa snarled. "Look at your precious daughter."
-
Nani know only felt anger and hate towards these two longnecks, she lashed out her own tail but instead of her target-Granpda,she hit her own daughter HARD.
-
A scream of horrid pain filled the valley air,Nahla sobbed as the blood came from where she was hit. Being weak as it is,Nahla collapsed. She was never strong to start with-never really having nutrition since she was born, the pain from this hit just added to her pain-both emotional and physical.
-
This time it was Grandma that acted. She was not as strong as her husband, but she was most assuredly faster. Which meant she hit more often in the same time.
-
Nani got out the way of the hits but not before being struck quite a few times "What YOU hitting me for old female?" she snarled not caring about her wounded daughter right now,all she cared about was herself in this time of rage.
-
Nahla was struggling to stay conscious, she was tried, weak, wounded. Her eyes kept closing and reopening as she tried to stay awake.
-
"THAT!" Grandpa pointed at the semi-conscious Nahla. "You are just like Hades, uncaring about all others unless it's suits you!"
-
"She'll be fine" Nani answered "This happens to her all the time, she recovers. Now do me a favor and shut up" she whipped around and stormed off just as Bron arrived.
-
Nahla didn't follow her, well she couldn't even stand she just stared at the remaining dinosaurs in shock.
-
"Hades' wife alright..." Grandma muttered, leaning down to check on the female. "Oh my, some of these look bad indeed. Bron, get me water. Grandpa, the usual herbs."
-
Bron was confused "Can you explain to me what the heck happened first? And yes,I did hear the noise but what HAPPENED?"
-
Nahla could not fight it anymore, with one last glance of Grandma,Grandpa and the new arrival-Bron she lost consciousness.
-
"Nani beat up her daughter while telling us we were bad care-takers, now get the water." Grandma glared at him.
Zimba: *snore*
-
"Ouch.." Bron muttered before quickly walking off to get the water.
Nani now stood over the sleeping Zimba "Zimba?" she called.
-
Nahla was completely unconscious,no movement expect for the rise and fall of her sides and chest as she breathed.
-
"Mmmmh.... wha...?" Zimba peeled his eyes open. "Nani, what's wrong...?"
-
Nani nodded with her head "Come with me" she said "And if you're wondering where Nahla is-she is badly injured-very badly might I add" she didn't add the fact she was the one that injured her.
Bron arrived back with a hollow tree(?) of water "There..whatever you need it for" he setlled himself down to watch.
-
Meanwhile..somewhere Littlefoot was having dreams...dreams of when life was good and made sense..before everything was ripped from him.
-
"What... what happened?" Zimba asked with wide eyes.
"We need to clean some of these wounds." Grandma answered. "Could you get Mother Swimmer? Hands would be helpfull here."
-
"Do I have to?" Bron asked but standing up anyway.
"There was a fight" Nani answered "Nahla got hit with great force, she collapsed soon after, last time I saw her she was barely conscious"
-
Littlefoot jerked awake after his dreams turned to nightmares,he sighed and stood up not feeling like going back to sleep,he continued his trek to nowhere.
-
"Should... shouldn't you be with HER then?" Zimba demanded in horror.
"Shoo." Grandma threw him a glare as her husband returned.
-
Bron sighed and walked off.
Nani glared at him "Why? She is an adult she can handle things on her own" the little fight with the grandparents have turned Nani bitter even towards her own daughter and Zimba.
-
Nahla still showed no signs of consciousness, she was clearly alive just....out stone cold.
-
"She's your daughter!" Zimba exclaimed in horror. "The one you did all this for!"
*patch-up montage for Nahla*
-
Nani growled "Shut up,you have no say in this it about damn time Nahla learned to live on her own without me,she is not a child anymore, she can start learning now" she began walking forward "And so can YOU,you both need to become real adults who doesn't need to depend on 'mummy' or in your case your friends mummy to look after their every whim"
-
Nahla groaned, still unconscious but starting to gain it again....slowly.
-
Zimba was still not quite sure they had the right script this time around. "You are Hades' wife." He unknowingly echoed Grandma's accusation.
"CArefull, dearie..." Grandma softly said.
-
Nani stopped and looked back "How dare you-compare ME to him..I am nothing like him,he is pure evil he abused you both while I raised you both-even when YOU ain't even my child,if you don't like being in my care but still want to be treated as a child-go get those old longnecks to adopt you. It is time you man up Zimba otherwise no female with sense will EVER want you-though but true" she walked forward again all she felt right now was anger and she was taking it out on Zimba now.
-
Nahla awoke "Ow...." she complained, she was surprised to see Grandma standing over her and without her Mother or Zimba in sight.
-
"So 'womaning up' for Nahla involves having her bad wounds be untreated!?" Zimba screamed. "You ARE him! That was HIS way of thinking, not YOURS!"
"Don't move, dear." Grandma softly said. "You got hurt badly."
-
"What makes you think this is even any of your business?" Nani asked "She'll be fine anyway"
-
"Wheres mum?" Nahla asked "I remember being hit by someone...but who? It kinda a blur right now"
-
Zimba said nothing, merely turning to go look for Nahla.
"She's... elsewhere." Grandma told her. "Rest. You'll need it."
-
Nani scoffed and walked other way.
-
"What happened? Tell me" Nahla begged "Who hit me and why?"
-
"I don't know." Grandma answered her. "I cannot tell you what I do not know."
"Nahla...?" When you started looking, finding a pink Longneck was quite easy.
-
Bron came walking back "How is she?" he asked.
-
"Zimba?" Nahla asked turning her head slightly.
-
"She'll be fine, with rest." Grandma assured both males.
"Thank goodness..." Zimba breathed, looking her over. "Woah, what happened to you?"
-
"Nani attacked her" Bron repeated what he heard "She was actually unconscious for a while"
-
"Nani?" Nahla repeated "But..she's my mother...MY OWN MOTHER DID THIS?!!" said a distressed Nahla.
-
In response Grandma threw him a death-glare of epic proportions. :anger Godsarned Bron, couldn't he be quiet when he needed to?
"What?" Zimba gasped. "I... I was wondering... why she seemed so uncaring... but why?"
-
"What,it the truth" Bron said seeing Grandma's glare
-
"I....I don't know..I don't even remember what happened exactly..I was standing there and suddenly I was hit so hard that I'm sure if I was a young child it would of killed me instantly..then I was on the ground and next thing I remember was waking up with mum gone and these other longnecks here" Nahla said in a rush.
-
"We and Nani were in an argument. She was being unreasonable and provocked Grandpa into attacking. In return she attacked you rather than him. She stormed off when I retaliated to get her away from you." Grandma told her.
-
"Then Nani when to Zimba over there after that I guess" Bron added.
-
"So what will happen to her now?" Nahla asked "And what happens to me? And ZImba?"
-
"You will stay here until you're healed. As for Nani, we'll see." Grandma said.
-
"Shall I get her something to eat?" Bron offered, being helpful..for once.
-
Nahla's breathing became before rapid as the shock finally hit her...why?...her own mother?...why?
-
"No, find Nani." Grandma told him. "Zimba, be a dear and stay with her for a bit. Don't let her move. I must discuss something with Grandpa."
-
Bron nodded and walked off to track down the other female.
-
Nahla watched him go,her breathing shakey, she tired to sit up only to yelp in pain-but she was thirsty.
-
"There's water over here... If you want." Zimba murmured, remembering that Grandma told him to keep Nahla still.
-
Bron soon found Nani-hard to miss a pink longneck "Nani...you're wanted....come..before theres more trouble" he nodded her to follow and began walking.
Nani narrowed her eyes but followed him...what now?
-
Nahla reached over and drank a lot of the water before looking at Zimba"How are you feeling yourslf?" she asked trying to keep her head raised.
-
"Bit sleepy... bit worried, but fine." Zimba assured her.
-
Bron lead Nani to Grandma and Grandpa "Well here she is..."
Nani glared at them "What?"
-
"Don't be worried about anything" she replied "No need to be worried, everything is fine"
-
"Hope so...." He agreed. "Want me to get you some food."
"I think you know." Grandpa answered her.
-
"Nahla's little injury?" Nani questioned
-
"If...you want to,then yes it would be nice since I missed dinner" she lowered her head again "I don't get all this fuss though everyone is acting like..I don't know...if the injures are really severe or something"
-
"They are severe..." Two different people at the same time said.
"They look just like Hades' did..." Zimba added.
-
"Yeah but they ain't life threatening are they?" Nani said it more like a statement then a question "Don't see the need for all the fuss not like she is dying"
-
"And they really hurt" Nahla added "Why did she attack me anyway? Did I do something wrong?" tears started in her eyes as she choked on her words.
-
:)
-
Nani was soon looming over Nahla "Come on,get up" she said before she looked at Zimba "We are leaving, get her up please" she started stepping away and looked backed "Chop chop Nahla,on your feet,Zimba make sure she gets up" she walked forward again not bothering to check in they were actualling following and headed to the exit.
-
Nahla sighed "I don't want to get up" she said quietly to just Zimba "It hurts, you can go if you want saves us both being yelled at-though I want to live my own life from no on,you know what I mean?"
-
Well, that was easy. "She needs rest." Zimba spoke up with a firmer voice than he used most of the time.
-
Nani walked off,not looking back. She thought Zimba and Nahla were behind her. She stomed up to the Grandparents "I'm just going to say this-HOW DARE YOU SAY I ABUSE MY DAUGHTER WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW EITHER OF US!" she screamed at the top of her lungs "Now all three of us are leaving,as you see behind me. They do not wish to see anyone is the valley because everyone here is a disgrace"
-
"Zimba?"Nahla asked in surprise "You're not going?" she rose her head up to look at him "I thought....you liked my mother,I mean you stayed all these years without leaving"
-
"Cause you're my friend..." He countered, looking on as Nani confronted the grandparents. They were not impressed.
"You might want to look behind you." Grandma suggested dryly.
-
Nani frowned and slowly looked behind her "Wait...WHERE ARE THEY?!!" she whipped her head back around "Now look what you done, your false claims about me abusing Nahla has caused both of them to disobey me"
-
"Mum will be pretty ticked..." Nahla commented "I don't get what is wrong with her..she acting like dad." she sighed and lowered her head again "Just hope you won't be the next to turn against me"
-
"They are adults, they can think on their own." Grandma pointed out. "Now, you were intending to leave?"
"Only if you make me." Zimba assured her. "And hey, you know how much I can take."
-
"Why should I leave?' Nani asked forgetting she actually wanted too only a minute ago "I can stay here if I want"
-
Nahla chuckled "Yeah, you have the biggest patience of anyone I ever knew" she thought for a moment "Most of the time anyway"
-
"You can't." Grandpa answered. "You are your husband's mate, now leave."
-
"What does that have to do with anything?!!" Nani argued
-
Meanwhile,Littlefoot was..he didn't know where. He wanted to go home, and he would go home. But he figured he should give it a bit for his grandparents to cool down on their anger,he had a right to survive too.
-
"Everything." Grandma answered her.
-
"For example?" Nani challenged..these old longnecks really got on her nerves.
-
Littlefoot walked on before seeing someone he really wished he hadn't..he had been following Hades trail..darn it.
-
They wordlessly pointed at her daughter.
Chomper blinked lightly when he saw Littlefoot. Way to ruin the hunt...
-
Nani followed their pointing and rolled her eyes "For the 100th time, she is fine. Stop acting like she has life threatening injures geez" she studied the Grandparents for a moment before scoffing.
-
Hades turned around and spotted both Littlefoot and Chomper "What are YOU two doing out here?" he snarled ready to kill them at any moment,
