Example

If J.J. Abrams made the Land Before Time; it would start around the middle of the series (so far) and there would be a lot of flash backs for the characters and the guests. And later on there would be flash fowards.

On the island, there would be a hatch, polar bears, and "The Others."

If George Lucas had directed the LBT, he would have started with the fourth movie, and made Littlefoot Evil

If Quentin Tarantino had directed Land Before Time, each character would've had their own story, all loosely based around Marcellus Sharptooth. Also, the langauge would have been much more colorful.

If Gene Roddenberry directed the Land Before Time, Captain Littlefoot would boldly go where no dinosaur had gone before, every week. (Also, the initial shot of the Great Valley would have been 10 minutes long)

If Uwe Boll directed a LBT movie he may get some big name actors, but the movie would be terrible & would quickly develop an awful reputation.

If Roland Emmerich would have done LBT there would have been more emphasis on the "go west young man" motif and there probably would have been the stars and stripes waving about the Great Valley.

If Tim Burton had directed the movie, it would have been a horror movie, yet with some humour to it.

If Michael Bay made LBT, it would be loaded with special effects, ridiculous amounts of product placement, and 360-low angle- shots of the characters.

Another Tarantino.

If Quentin Tarantino made LBT it would've indeed started with Littlefoot's mother getting killed, and the rest of the sequels would focus on Littlefoot seeking revenge.  :P:
Do well. Live well. And dress very well.

If Lucas Cruikshank had directed the LBT, Littlefoot would sound like the Chipmunks and have anger management issues. Also his mom would be a drunk and never seen on screen.

(For those who don't know Lucas Cruikshank is behind the Fred series on Youtube)

Didn't Don Bluth already do that in the first movie? (Sharptooth stepping on Littlefoot's tree star :p)

Pronounced "pan-JEE-uh". Spelled with three A's. Represented by a Lystrosaurus.

Dang, beat me to it.  :lol Practically took the words out of my mouth.

If Andy Warhol directed LBT, it would be four hours of watching the trees sway, with no characters.

If Peter Jackson directed LBT, we'd get plenty of shots of Hobbits trecking an Irish Landscape..

If Tex Avery had directed LBT it would likely have some very very wacky scenes, similar to certain scenes in the 13th movie, most likely.
