in the cafe they are dealing with a small group of customers, and Nick and Kerzach are taking turns with cooking, we'll say aves has been baking stuff.. and prudicing weird loooking cupcakes
ha! well if you kn ew half the truth about the cupcakes bit it might actually frighten you
well, alright.. but it may be a few posts before I do what I must do... and it has much to do with that strange wrist computer that Aves is stuck with and the strange character who communicates with it.. I'm sure that some of y'all have some clue as to who that character is
anyway.. give me a briefing.. what's going on at the cafe and where does my character stand? is he still in the kitchen muttering to himself or what?
well, I was going to send someone in particular to Chong to develop a new interesting plot device.. but I'm not sure that would actually even work now.

between me trying to get this other project finished before a deadline and other things I can only post once or twice a day. but I dont have time to read three whole pages with blocks of text that accumulate over a day
I hate to ask y'all to slow down.. that would make me feel like a complete party pooper... But I had some pretty cool plot ideas and I'm not even sure how to apply them at this rate.
Aves mumbled to himself as he went about his work. It was already looking to be another long day in the Cafe. never mind that they were in outer space and it was often hard to tell when a day began or ended.
once more the wrist computer started to beep and Aves groaned as he tried to ignore it but just then there came a girlish giggle from the device
"Arent you ever going to answer my calls you crazy fox thingie?'
"Eh?"
Aves glanced at the device at first startled that there was a voice coming from it. The screen still showed the strange picture of balloons over a pink background. still the voice came.
"When are you coming back? We still have plenty of cupcakes to bake!"
"Wh - who are you?" asked Aves
"Why, dont you know? I'm Bizzarro Pin -"
the voice cut out to static and there was a click sound as if he had lost connection.
"Dont be silly, Nick. Chong's immortal and from what I remember from reading dusty old scrolls, Chong always finds a way to escape. He'll own this cafe again long after we're dead of old age. Mark my words."
And then as Aves was slipping on his apron the little wrist computer started to beep.
"Oy..." said Aves, "this dratted thing has been beeping off and on like this all night but every time I try to operate it this picture pops on the screen and I cant do anything with it!"
Aves glanced at the screen which displayed a picture of balloons over a pink background.
"What's this stupid thing supposed to do? And why do I have it"
ooc: unfortunately I dont have enough time to read every single post here so assuming everything is still slightly normal as far as situations go I'll just post Aves's intro into this story right here
Aves soon left his quarters looking groggy and still half asleep. The night before was a long one as he was left to do the dishes and clean the kitchen area.
He groaned as he stumbled down the hall towards the kitchen entrance almost as if half drunk
His memory was still somewhat shot, he couldn't remember much of anything but he was slowly recovering his distant memories of the Insane Cafe back when Lord Chong first owned the restaurant and the great and terrible Spork Battle that ended his reign then.
Another thing that frequently popped into his mind was the word "cupcakes" and what sounded to him like distant girly giggles and the color pink and for some odd reason this caused him to cringe. Also when he was discovered by his friend Nick he was found with some strange wrist computer device that did not seem to work (nor would it come off his wrist) and he was left to wonder about its purpose and why he was stuck with it.
Alright, Nick, I think you should start the RP as I've honestly forgot the plans of how it was going to start (and chances are, the plot has already changed drastically since we last discussed it a year ago.)
I'll have to enter this RP almost completely oblivious as to what's going on. I'll use my old fox character Aves, of course and maybe a few others as I go along. I'll just have to learn the recent happenings through the eyes of Aves and not risk having to read a huge wall of text to catch up on things.
So for the story on Aves so far, he's just now waking from some mysterious coma or something and he has to regain his memories
also keep in mind that I'm going to be a bit limited in my posting each day. I have other deadlines that must be met so I might post at least once or twice to this RP a day.
Also since its been a couple of years since I last RP'd, I feel my skills might be a bit rusty.
Um.....not winning me over on this one. This partially is probably because I remember some of the old show and this is a bit different. The fact the ponies all look like Powerpuff Girl wannabes isn't thrilling me either.
So the creator of a Land Before Time fan forum wont even give this other little cartoon a chance because of its scary girlish history and the uber kawaii Powerpuff Girl design? :blink:

Time to come out of the FiM closet. I'm a fan of this series. I've seen the entire thing up to the most recent episode with the CMC entering a talent show.
Nothing to feel ashamed about (I dont suppose) the show has been getting more and more fans... allot of guys too, it seems
Now that your minds have been blown, let me explain... For those who have been living under a rock (much like myself up until a few nights ago) this brand new cartoon primiered months ago and due to its brilliant style in art and storytelling it has spawned a massive fanbase of all ages and genders.
Even the likes of 4chan celebrates this show as something spectacular (just use googleimage and look up the show for a huge gallery of memes and funny pictures created for teh lulz and of course 'pony love')
When I first heard about it, I thought the forum thread that I was reading was some kind of sick troll thread, but alas, I was wrong! And thusly I was gradually converted into what is called a broney (bro+pony=brony)
The first video above was my first introduction to the cartoon and after I had seen it I felt the need to see more of it.. I was.. hooked... Of all things, I never expected to become a fan of such a thing as My Little Pony (dont worry, Istill prefer to keep my dignity and not buy the toys )... but alas, I fell for the trap, and now I feel obligated to spread the word.
Almost every forum I visit on a normal basis has a thread about it (except this one) so indeed, enjoy what you see here!

Hey, guys! I've decided to start hosting a series on Youtube of me drawing nice things.
The first little series is up and its 10 videos long (each video 10 minutes long) and its a picture of an olf fantasy themed house out in a nicely detailed country side.

Oh.. and on the first four videos, there seems to be some nasty gaps between the music selections... I blame this on Windows Movie Maker (for tricking me in the editing process) and me for not taking the time to watch each video after they were saved and before the upload... after the fourth video those gaps are gone so yeah....
Oh, and I'll certainly accept critiques!
