I love #1 and #3, hated #2. I just hope they make it entertaining, instead of trying to preach at us again.

I saw DMC last night, and I LOVED it. It was darker than the first, but Depp turned in another stellar performance as Captain Jack. the Ending offered some interesting sub-plots to look for in Pirates 3.

With my favorite movie "A Scanner Darkly" right behind it. "Scanner" did really good in the box office and did almost as good as Pirates.

$00 milion you mean Wr. DMc is the 7th film to make $400 million, and is now 6th on the all-time list, passing the original Spiderman. It will not pass Titanic, but if it grosses another 57 million it will pass Star WArs as #2 all-time on the US list. It probably will pass $1 billion worldwide...

Well, in any case, it recently crossed the $400 million line, in the U.S. boxoffice. I believe the first one made somewhere between $350 million and $375 million, in the U.S. boxoffice.
Worldwide, the first one only made about $650 million-$675 million, this one's topped that by about $200 million, thus far, and its not done yet!

So that makes it only the 3rd film to reach $1 billion. It may pass ROTK, but no way is it going to pass Titanic, It would need another 800 million to do that.
