Yes Lincoln's was also the 12th. in fact as a yearlong celebration the Us mint is putting out 4 new penny designs, each depicting scenes from Lincoln's life. something for the collectors on this board to do; collect all 4 designs over the year..

No, if you have all the states, you have them all, its called "State' quarters for a reason, there won't be any Puerto Rico or Guam quarters made.. how many of the Presidents do you have? I'm up to Van Buren. Harrison is the next president to be released, and this is his first appearance on any currency..

Nick beat me to pointing out the double birthday. Over here the focus of the media is mostly on the birthday of Darwin, while there is little mention of Lincoln; kind of strange if one considers the increased interest in Lincoln through the election of Obama.
Certainly two people who took a tremendous influence on the world they lived in. Certainly two people who were willing and able to learn and in the process break with conventions. Two people who in my opinion (and in spite of the falsifications of Darwin's point as a means of justifying action against the "weaker") made changes for the better in the world.
