This was a very well done vid. The song indeed fit the character, and the scenes matched well too.

Awesome video! :) I haven't seen too many Ruby-centric music videos.

She is an interesting character, though I still wonder why her family did not go to the Great Valley when they had the chance, seems very odd.

Maybe they would have not been tolerated as too much of a thread to the Valley's eggs? We still don't know how come that Chomper (a Sharptooth no matter his age who has eaten dinosaur meat before) was accepted by Great Valley Dinosaurs such as Mr. Threehorn. That is a story that has yet to be told.
Anyway, back to topic, I like that video though I admit the music itself is not so much my cup of tea. I think that Ruby (as a thoughtful character with an occasional melancholic trait) was a good addition to the land before time and she also provides plenty of material for anyone interested in writing pure LBT fanfiction as there is a lot left to be told about her background.

I don't think so.I think she's sanguine.Just like on offical site of LBT says:
"She can see both sides of an issue or problem"

And non-pure LBT fanfics as well. It depends on what style of fanfic one prefers to write.

The one does not exclude the other ;)
Note that I spoke of occasional melancholic traits (about being separated from her family).
In spite of the fact that almost every LBT character lost at least some family member (though we don't know what happened to each of them or if the characters ever knew them) this is rarely mentioned throughout the sequels. Personally I consider it a good trait of Ruby's not to put forth an "out of sight out of mind" attitude towards her family.

I may still have a dream don't I? :p
After all there is non-pure stuff out there a plenty while pure LBT fanfiction are so rare that I think encouragement to write those is not out of place.
