Title: Rebuses

Then I decided to start this thread.

Try to solve this one! :D

It is one of my favorite puzzles! I used to solve them a lot during my childhood.

"Towerland" It's supposed to make sense but I have no idea.

End of Ifel tower is tower

first of land before time is land. I saw it as the letter i, but then I didn't know what that meant.

EDIT: Oh, the tower represents France, and 'fin' is "end" in French. I think it might have been more solvable with the French flag instead of the Eiffel Tower to represent France, the tower is a famous French landmark but i don't think it qualifies as full synecdoche sans any context
