Land Before Time RPG / Flyers of the Mysterious Beyond

"Yeah, Pterano, how far? Even with Sierra with us, I still don't think moving around here for long is a good idea." Luke glanced down and shivered again. To him, the mist curling around below them looked like hands, ready to grab him by the foot and pull him down. Gulping, he looked back up and said shakily, "Not that I'm scared or anything."

*Sorry for the delay in posting, guys, I've been really busy but I can post more regularly now  :angel

It sounds like you have a good chance at Wendy's and Dollar tree.
Stay positive - another day passed is another day closer to your house in Michigan being sold.

Rip Van Winkle's death in the anime "Hellsing" is pretty bad, mostly because it's so drawn out:

"You could be right," Luke nodded, "He's probably got some good in him, deep down. Maybe."
He slowed his flying slightly and spoke nervously; "Hey Sierra, how long have you been following us? Looks like you have quite the talent for sneaking up on people."

*Good for you, Jared. Now you can enjoy it whenever you want  :yes

Gulping, Luke sped up and slotted himself between Rinkus and Jared. Below them, the mist seemed to be rising. A few whisps brushed against Luke's foot. "Hey Pterano," he called out, "Are we there yet? I can't shake the feeling that something's following us..."

Just finished watching the first series of the remake. I didn't think much of it at first, but now its got me hooked   Anna's probably one of my favourite tv villains now.

After listening to Jared, Luke looked down. The ground was covered in fog, and every now and then an unseen creature shrieked. He shivered. "It is pretty spooky down there. At least Pterano looks like he knows his way around here - whatever's down in that mist, I don't think it would help us if we got lost."

"You guys seem a lot nicer than the last flyers we stayed with", Luke explained. He looked around at the mountains surrounding them. "So, what's there to do around here? You three must have somewhere to relax when you're not... doing whatever it is you do."

This is probably my favourite trailer for anything. I first saw it this morning, and I can't stop thinking about it. Everything's perfect : the animation, music, the emotion. I'm really interested in this game now.

And I don't understand people who say this is going too far. A child isn't actually dying; it's a trailer designed to get you interested in the game and it works.

Luke smiled at Jared enjoying himself, then turned to Rinkus and Pterano. "Well, see you in the air," he said. Then he stepped off the edge and spread his wings. Feeling the familiar gust of wind pushing him up, he glided up to join Jared. "It'll be fun flying with them," he nodded.

I never understood the hype about Guitar Hero. Why not just learn how to play a real guitar?

I was shocked at first, but then I laughed. It was unexpected  :lol
Your last name is Kick? That sounds pretty cool.

* I was thinking you could do the first description of flying in the fanfic, since I think this part means a lot to you.*

Luke nodded. "Well, you were lucky this time." He walked to the entrance of the cave. A cool breeze blew against him. "It's not so bright outside anymore. Do you want to go flying, Jared? Maybe we can think of someway to repay these three for their hospitality." He gestured to the trio. "You guys can come too, if you want."

It's a shame about the interview, but at least there's still a possibility for the meter reader job. Good news for your mom, maybe you could try to teach her to type faster.
And sorry about your haircut  :(  Maybe you could wear a hat until it grows slightly longer?

Seeing an opportunity to shift some of the blame from himself, Luke tutted. "It's okay, Jared," he grinned, "You can't help it."
He glanced at the motionless brown flyer. "At least Sierra didn't wake up. I've got a feeling he wouldn't like having his sleep disturbed."

That was a really good story! You used emotion well, the part where the Therizinosaurus realises his mate is dead, and that he has to sever his 'pair - bond' with her, is powerful stuff.
Have you written any more short stories? I really enjoyed reading this one.
