I thought it was pretty decent - not amazing but entertaining, and I like that they spent time building the main guy's character. I think they've said there's gonna be a few sequels on the way, will definitely check them out!

Seeing this tomorrow, hopefully will at least be a fun time! I don't really know too much about the game's lore but the people I'm going with are pretty into it, so will be interesting to see what nods and references go over my head  :DD

I'll take a totally random guess to try and slay this monster...

Mummified?

You can fly your ship, customise it, have space battles etc - I don't think the flying is as intricate as games like No Man's Sky, for example. But yeah, as LBT said its basically a big exploration game with loads of quests and things to do, pretty fun stuff!

I haven't gotten it myself, as Bethesda games are usually best played with performance-improving mods I'm sure the community is working hard on as we speak. But I'm sure I'll get it eventually, any Bethesda game is worth the price because of the entire library of amazing fangames that will inevitably run on its engine, plus infinite mods of any stripe and shape to craft the game into exactly what you want to play.

Alas I'm on xbox so I'll need to wait until they've added mods to it, like for Skyrim and Fallout, but looking forward to those!

Gamers Zone / Starfield

Has anyone been playing Starfield? It's the new game from the guys who made the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games - I'm only a couple hours in but it seems pretty fun so far!

I think the opening to the game might be a little slow, most people say you need to play the first bunch of missions before it properly opens up so I'm looking forward to that. Hoping I can be a space pirate roaming through space

Curious if anyone else has been playing it and what your thoughts are? How would you compare it to their other games?

I'm crazy excited for this one, watched the original so much as a kid it wore out the VHS. Mr and Mrs Tweedy are personal heroes of mine  :DD

I'd also definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it before, super fun movie that's basically a chicken version of Great Escape

Only thing that's a little disappointing for this sequel is that they've replaced a couple of the main voice actors, but hoping the new guys do a good enough job  :)

I was a little wary for the same reason actually - but ammo is crazy rare to find, and only buys you a minute or two tops... definitely not a long term solution  :DD

Would definitely still recommend, it's the most stressed I've felt in a game for ages!

Technically not playing yet, but I'm super hyped to play the Expanse game by Telltale, comes out later in the week   :D

I've only seen Barbie so far (planning on  seeing Oppenheimer soon), but it was so much better than I thought it would be!

I was expecting zany, over-the-top stuff, but the plot was actually surprisingly deep and adult. As you said, Ryan Gosling absolutely killed it as Ken and I loved seeing more of his comedic ability. Margot Robbie was amazing too, and I can't actually think of a weak link in the cast. I'm curious what people thought of Will Ferrel's character though, somehow he felt a little out of place to me.

Definitely recommend this one though  :)
