Chicxulub

The name of the impact site of the asteroid that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Located in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, it is also the second largest confirmed impact feature on Earth.
(I also thought it would be amusing to use a word with the letter X in it after someone went with such a crazy guess last time.)

Sorry for leaving all of you hanging (pun not necessarily intented). Been busy with IRL stuff, but here we go. I decided to go with a single word, no clue this time, except that it's a word not used in everyday vocabulary, but I'm sure a lot - if not everyone - has heard of it and knows what it means.
