I hope this makes more sense:

George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg did not originally plan the film "The Land Before Time" as we see it today. Instead, it was to be in a style not commonly seen in films of the time (or today for that matter). What is the main difference between the original idea for the style of the film and the style it turned out to be in the end?

Ah shucks, well i think i know the answer to this question. George Lucas and Steven Speilberg originally wanted the film to have no voice actors ,kinda like the Fantasia, but they ended up using voice actors.
