Last night, one of the shows I watched on the History Channel was "Adam eats the '80s", where Adam Richman talks about and tries various foods that were popular back in the 1980s. In the most recent new episode, one place he visited was Pizza Hut, and as he and the restaurant owner discussed some of Pizza Hut's menu items that were introduced in the 80s but have long since been removed, I noticed in the background some Land Before Time figures (including a blue Petrie). No one in the show ever brought any attention to those figures, but they were so obvious in the background that they had to have been placed there deliberately, and since this show is all about the 80s, I can't help but think that it must've been a subtle reference to how Pizza Hut had promoted the original movie back when it came out in 1988.
