A fan recently came up with a theory of how Princess Candace's "love power" actually works.  According to the theory, her power actually only works on ponies who are already in love.  It helps them work out compromises in difficult situations where the couple at hand would usually argue over it to a point where their relationship would be tarnished and difficult to repair.  Simply, it reminds them of the love they already share and that they can work out the problem together.

To be honest, I like the theory quite a bit.  It makes her power seem more likable than the writers made it out to be.  I hope it becomes cannon.  It would clear up quite a bit in the end.

What do you guys think?  Does the theory work for you?

I think it could work.
I think, from the hormonal stance of love, it adds an extra boost to all those love juices...noooot those kinds, the ones in the brain, such as oxytocin, serotonin, and all that good stuff.

About freaking time, Hasbro. Oh sure, they can get G.I. Joe Renegades (you know, the show that bombed and ended after only ONE season) out in stores almost instantly, but the gender-stereotype breaking show that launched a whole new nerd movement to rival the trekkies, the Potheads, the Ringers, Squeenix fans, the Avatards, the Whovians, and whatever the hell you call Star Wars fans? Eh, they'll get to it when they get to it.
