Lots and lots of rain. The river that flows under the two bridges to get to town will most likely be flooded tomorrow, meaning no one will be able to get in or out through those ways without taking a big detour to the east.

(Main character Regina walks towards her partner Gail and it is revealed he is checking a dead body; the music swells in intensity as she walks towards the body)
Regina: (casually) That's disgusting.
I can't think of any other at the moment but that scene came to mind when reading the title. The music builds to this intensity that makes you think the reaction will be something like "Oh my god!" but Regina is just so casual in her delivery.
