 kovu continued running through the prison cells, breaking out prisoners with his ring or his gut. so far he had rescued 6, brella and the lioness - who had not yet revealed her name, and 4 males- two foxes, a panther and and tiger, all skin and bones. ythe 4 guys were trying to keep up oj foot as best they could, as kovu couldnt carry all 6. ' where will you take us?' asked the panther. ' the spire of winter ' Kovu said. ' we're ready to go, kovu. head to the entrance. be warne we will alkmost certainly have to fight our way out ' sly said '  they womt stop us ' Kovu said in a determined voice.

 Thank you both for coming' Dumbledore said to Carson and Stripetail ' as I mentioned, we have a few issues to discuss ' to start, my sources have discovered that a cemetery in west Pottermore was ransacked recently, and several bodies are missing. the cemetery was the resting place of several powerful Aurors from the 1600s and 1700s. Graverobbing is very rare on Pottermore so it is very likely that your foe Chong played a role in it. but for what reason, i do not yet know. wizards and witches are buried with their wands and sometimes with personal valuables, such as jewelry, as well. its possible Chong wanted the valuables or perhaps the wands, as wands in that era tended to be thicker and contained more internal magic than more modern wands. "  he could also have wanted the bodies themselves for necromancy ' Stripetail said. ' they would not be themselves, and not truly alive again.' reviving the dead in any form is impossible, my Lord ' Dumbledore said, ' i think Chong may be trying to prove that wrong.' Stripetail said. ' we will need to investigate further of course. '

 Second, Minister Fudge has informed me that he is constructing an embassy around your ship, as well as tightening the general curfew.' i have received a similar note ' Stripetail said ' i have no objection to the  embassy boundaries or the stipulation that all residents of Pottermore, magicfolk or Muggle, are under their jurisdiction. i';m here to deal with Chong, not pick fights with the Ministry.' stripetail sad as he took a sip of tea. Stripetail had created some pretzel rolls for Carson, in lieu of the tea.' Third;y,  as Severus may have already informed you, some of your students made contact with members of the Pinkstone insurgency. ' yes he has already informed me.  the Ministry will take a dim view of that, to put it mildly, if they find out. ' " which is why Imust ask that your students do not go exploring the castle  going forward without supervision. . and by supervision, i mean at least one  Hogwarts professor. ' Dumbldore said. ' how do you think they got into the castle?' Stripetail asked. ' Hogwarts contains many secrets. including secret passageways and entrances. clearly they knew of one and used it. i will ask severus to investigate the matter when he has time.

'thank you Headmaster. now i have a question. given the state of the curse in your hand, what is your prognosis?' Dumbledores face tightened then he sighed. ' severus has told you then?' " he was able to contain it for the time being. when he did so, he told me i had a year before it would spread. as for how long i would have once it spread, he didnt say, but perhaps another year. so i have, roughly, 19 months to live ; Dumbledore said in a heavy voice. ' unless the curse was extracted' Stripetail said. ' Dumbldore shook his head.  severus has told me that he cant remove it. Voldemort made a extremely powerful Dark curse.' I wish to try, Headmaster. you are not that old, by wizards standards. i believe your predecessor as Headmaster was still driving well into his 300s?' headmaster Dippet, and yes he was. ' Dumbldore paused. 'very well my Lord, if you are, somehow, by the grace of Merlin, able to extract the curse. i will be forever grateful. ' it would , at  the least, allow you to live into your 200s and 300s ' Stripetail said.  I will need a sample of skin and blood from the cursed hand.  if your hand is as cursed-necrotic as i expect, it will not survive the curse extraction process. so, among other measures ,we will need to grow you a new hand. ' if losing a hand is the price to live many more decades, I'll live without a left hand.  i wouldnt be the first professor here at Hogwarts to lose a hand or limb ' Dumbledore said. ' well I believe Potter lost all the bones in his arm once. ' yes in  his second year. a mistake by then -Professor Lockhart. we were able to restore the bones in Potters arm..  We used Bone- regrow. ' if you can regrow all the bones in an entire arm, Headmaster, then regrowing the bones in a hand should be absolutely doable as well. a modified  Bone Regrow potion. Now stick out your hand, headmaster ' Stripetail said as he reached into his robes ' Albus looked at him over his half moon glasses then returned to his seat  and  reached out his left hand. '  Stripetail pulled outt a skin scraper and scraped off small amounts of skin tissue from each finger the thumb and the main hand ,and put them into a vial. next  he pulled out a strange contraption that looked like a mosquito.  stripetail put the device onto the hand and the syringe dug into the skin, drawing out blood which filled a vial in the back of the device. Once it was full, stripetail removed the device and bandaged the hand with a  gesture. ' Thank you headmaster. I will run tests on them right away.  " Stripetail said putting them both away in his robes. " Captain  the floor is yours. ask any questions of the headmaster you like."

panty stopped in the middle of eating a burger- her sixth.  let me make one thing clear to all of you at this table and especially to you, Arlene/  I can eat any mortal I want, in fact the only one I absolutely would not eat is you Arlene, due you being the mother of Oliver. Anyone else - Scooby, Dixie Garfield Tigeress Luca and so on - they could be on my menu. Doesnt matter how close they are to you Arlene , how powerful they are, etc. Even.. if they work for the Seer himself. he can find replacements, if need be.  Yes I would be on his crap list, but it wouldnt be the first time i pissed off a fellow immortal.  they tend to get over it after a few millennia.' Kovu was so much larger than all the prisoners that despite the fact there were half a dozen ones he had rescued so far, they almost all were able to take cover behind him cause Kovu was very plump.

"Stay behind me," he instructed as he took out another robot owl with his fire powers, "Only I have the skills to take these freaks down."

"We trust you on that," said the male tiger.

Kiara then turned her behind towards Bagheera, and pressed in into the magic screen. "You like the feel?" she purred seductively to her panther boyfriend.

"More then just the feel," Bagheera replied, as Kiara suddenly felt she was  getting her full form pulled through the screen, as it could adjust to fit her full size.

Sima had to let out a chuckle as in a flash, Kiara was pulled into Bagheera's room in the jungles of India. "You're quite the smart one," Kiara grinned to Bagheera. Of her 3 main boyfriends, he was the only one close to Kovu in IQ. She could see the lustful look in his eyes.

"Shall we send out the invites, moms?" Oliver asked Panty and Arlene, as he saw them both as equally his moms now. "And what should they say?"

"They should include the reason why they should come with presents," Arlene winked to Panty.

I’ll send out the invites .” Arlene nodded as the group continued eating. Plate after plate of food arrived as Gustav and Wirt were trying a large breaded fish, Tita was trying breaded shrimp and Oliver was trying a pot pie. Arlene wss on the phone with Dixie to get a take  out order from her Scooby Luca  Agumon and Gabuna, which included desserts.

Kovu used his sumo abilities to smash guards into walls  right and left.. The more they tried to fight him the stronger the  blows he doled out. His armor had activated and Kovu had switched the armor setting to ‘ sumo’. He had changed into the size he was when summing on Mawashii and he was making mincemeat of the guards. If a hard smack to the face with his armored gut didn’t do the job , a fireball to the face  did.  From comments on his communicator, Sly Cermelita and Bentley had found their friends and were fighting their way out of their areas. Kovu turned a corner and stopped. The metal form of Clockerk stood in the doorway . He raised a claw and fifth heavily armed guards swarmed into the room. Lances all pointed at Kovu.” “ You work for the Deer, don’t you?” clockwork said in a matter of fact voice.” Let us go, and I won’t have to crush all these guards.” Kovu said.” Oh really? And you think I am just going to let  you and Cooper walk out of here with my prisoners?” Clockwork snarled.” Actually.. yes.” Kovu said.”  The metal bird laughed cruelly.” Guards, tear him  apart.” He commanded.” It’s their funeral.” Kovu said both claws glowing brightly as fireballs appeared in them. The birds yelled in charge and their yells soon turned to screams of agony as Kovu released a wall of fire . Lances became like hot pokesrs armor burned the skin it was supposed to protect. Feathers ignited from the heat. And one by one the birds ignited creating a grisly spiral as all 50 were turned to ash. Clockwork  fumed as he saw the piles of ash. “ fine! Take them! Get out!” Clockwork thundered in fury his eyes glowing in rage.” But know this, lion. We will meet again, and I have a LONG memory.”

"Everyone, stay close to me!" Kovu called to the prisoners he had freed from Clockwerk's prisons. "Once I send the word, we'll all be warped back to safety." He had pulled out the communicator that Stripetail had given him and was just about to send the call, when he heard a faint cry in the distance.  "Wait a sec...." he said, having been able to hear it.

"What is it?" asked one of the male foxes.

In spite of the sheer number of prison cells on Clockwerk's planet, he often didn't have a system in place to focus on filling one specific cellblock up at a time. Several prisoners were placed in cells surrounded by empty cells, so they were extra isolated. Kovu and the captives first thought they were in an empty cellblock, but Kovu was able to make out the sound of someone weeping.

When he followed his ears, he found a lone male lion cub behind bars. "I'll get you out of here!" Kovu said, heroically, using his big sumo gut to bash down the bars. He then signaled for the cub to join the group.

"Joto?" the lioness who Kovu rescued earlier gasped in hope.

"Mom?!" the cub cried, running over to her and hugging her. Turns out a mother and son who each thought they would never see each other again had just been reunited, thanks to the actions of Kovu.

Knowing now they got everyone they could, Kovu quickly pulled out the communicator and said to the seer "Job's Done,", which enveloped the group he was with, along with the Cooper Gang, in a beautiful, bright, warping light.

Captain Carson listened as she ate one of the perfectly baked pretzel rolls. Upon hearing the stories of the grave robberies, she spoke up. "If I may Headmaster," she said. "A lot of the issues that come with Chong are best dealt with using both magical and Muggle methods. I am aware that getting the Ministry to assist us is a difficult, if not impossible order, but I would be satisfied if my crew could work without interference from them."

The front gate at ship actually had guards from two separate jurisdictions. Hit-Wizards guarded the outside of the gate. To avoid suspicion (and to comply with the Statute of Secrecy), they were dressed like ordinary Esbenshire police officer

Inside the perimeter were Spirarian guards riding inside the armed dune buggies. Though of course, the dune buggies did not carry rocket pods; instead, they carried heavy machine guns.

While Nick was a Muggle, he had badge that marked him as a member of the Spirarians and exempt from the Statute of Secrecy. Consequently, he was not to be obliviated.

Of course, Esbenshire was a hotbed of Pinkstone activity that the Aurors were just barely managing to keep a lid on. Aurors patrolled the streets, ready to obliviate any Muggle who saw magic or arrest any Pinkstone supporter.

Of course, such patrols missed things. Such as the street fight between some Pinkstone supporters and anti-Pinkstone activists near Ebinshire Stones and Scrying.

(West Pottermore)

Aurors stood guard over the Niamh Memorial Cemetery. The once dignified and quiet memorial park was pocked with crudely dug holes, scattered grave markers and smashed open coffins. Even the stately yew and hawthorn trees that decorated the cemetery were not spared as many of them were simply cut down or uprooted. Even more disturbing was that the remains of the Magicfolk buried there were also missing.

Owls had been sent out informing the relatives of the deceased that their graves had been desecrated and that the Aurors were trying their best to return their remains.

Thankfully, the cemetery was unplottable and laced with Muggle repelling charms so the Aurors didn't have to worry about Muggles stumbling upon such an operation.

Tiger and Kitty continued exploring the resort, which had plenty of places for couples to play games , take in a holo film ( romantic or otherwise) or play sports. The couple was headed to the tennis courts to play a game. Tigers powers , naturally, gave him a huge advantage in the game, such as hitting the ball harder.” Remember, Tiger when the Doos get here we’re playing mixed doubles. Scooby with be with me , and you will be playing with Dixie. Wouldn’t be fair to have boys vs girls.” Kitty puréed as she hit the ball to him to get warmed up.” We also have to send some things to Oliver for his birthday.” Tiger said.” Panty. Er, insists.” I’ll look in the plush toy station on Toy Isle. They should have stuff he likes.”  I’ll get him a video game. I think there’s a new game out called Catman on the Jungle Cruise. It’s more a mystery than typical Catman fare.” Kitty said.” I’ll make a list after the game. You have me doing a posing hour at 6.” It’s the pink priestess outfit. Something for a holy calendar.” Tiger chuckled


“ I will see what I can do for you, Professor Carson. The best we can probably do, for the time being ,  is have your activities be under Lesson Research and Planning.” There is a western forest that is famous for its thick wood for wand making, They are called Piior wands or Pyre wands. Haven’t had too many students use them in recent years, most go for thinner more pliable wands.” Dumbledore said.

Mana had Flash and Mona stand in a circle as Mona would read the disciple mantras, which included things” like, is the path to Ozai straight or crooked?” And” You have fallen in a well. How do you ask Ozai to get you out?”  Remember to enuciate my dear.” Mawa said.” You may begin.” “ Why do you wish to follow Ozai?” Mona asked” Because he is a great. Sumo a wise being and a generous master.” Flash replied.” You have fallen in a well. How do you ask Ozai for help?” I ask for him to levitate me out, or freeze the water so I can use my powers to climb out.” Flash said. What is the Great Ozai rule on love?” Moons said giggling.” Love is freely given without judgement. The master does not care who you love, so long as you love and are loved in return.” Flash said.” Ozai poses you a question about his mawshii. How do you answer?” It would depend on whether the mawashii was for a match, ceremony or divine duty. “ Flash said as Mona worked her way through the 100 questions for converts. Zoai and Mawa had to help her say a few words in the questions

Arlene and  Oliver continued lunch with Panty and their friends as course after course of food was brought out. Witt and Greg had agreed to get Oliver something although they weren’t sure what to get him

"For your followers, right?" Kitty figured. She knew Tiger liked having her try on all these new outfits, for his viewing pleasure.

"Precisely," Tiger confirmed, with a wink. "And I demand MUCH jiggling from you while in it."

Kitty could only smile, chuckle, and nod at the request. "Sure thing, my divine hubby," Kitty promised.

Zoai had set up the circle for the Flash's becoming a disciple of Ozai, spreading the sacred salt to mark it. She was happy her friend had chosen to become a follower. Indeed, the number of questions that had to be asked was not an exaggeration, there would be 100 total.

Ollie sat off to the side and watched the ritual.

"Best hang on to my hips, Po," Jing encouraged as their turn came up in the couple's surfing contest, "The waves can be rough." Which was a true statement, but Jing was also really looking forward to feeling Po hold onto her.

Captain Carson nodded. "That would be appreciated, Headmaster," she replied. At the mention of the forest, she then turned to Stripetail. "Commander, do you think we should send a team over to investigate the forest and the cemetery?"

Inwardly, she sighed. While recon and intel gathering could reasonably be covered under "lesson research and planning activities", more...direct means of stopping Chong — whether it was attacking one of his groups or destroying his resources or satellite bases — most certainly would not be covered under that. Hopefully, she could find a way to engage in kinetic action against him without compromising her cover and pissing off the Ministry of Magic.

"Sir," one of the Aurors said to Nick as he tried to make his way to Ebinshire Stones and Scrying. "There's currently a riot we're trying to break up on this street. I'm going to have to ask you to move along as this street is closed."

Yes. We should send a team. To maintain our cover of research, pick out a few students from your classes to come along. Have it be a field trip or research project. Make sure the kids are trustworthy of course. Have them research the forest to determine, for instance, why the wood was so sought after in wand making in its day. Offer extra credit as an incentive.” Stripetail mused. In addition to your students , I’ll send a few of our group as well. 4 or 5 should be enough, this is recon work, not out and out war.” Stripetail said  after a few minutes of thought.

Nick sighed as he was denied access to the store.” Very well. I’ll get out of the street. Do you have any idea when this riot will be quelled? I have supplies to get and there is a curfew after all.” At the moment, we cannot give a timeframe for when the matter will be cleared up.” Said a Autor. I recommend staying inside he burning Wick for the time being. For your safety, sir.” Nick  took a deep breath,” Al right. I’ll head there. Just let me know as soon as it is possible for me to complete my work.” There will be an announcement when conditions have returned to normal.

Sly approached Kovu as they boarded the ship to return to the spire. The rescued Cooper gang was in debrainwashing pods, there was no telling how long they would need to be in there. The personers Kovu had rescued were gathered together in the middle of the ship. Kovu climbed in and pressed his communicator, it soon glowed red to show Kip’s had answered.” On our way back bro. Sllys friends are rescued, and I ever rescued a few lions panthers and foxes. Have Kion give them a look over, see if any of them are Guard material. I could also just have them be in my personal guard as well.”  Abu is doing a fine job with that job.” Kip’s chuckled.” He kept two autograph seekers from taking pictures of your inn room. They.. made the mistake of trying to bribe him with peanuts.” Koppa chuckled and Kovu burst out laughing.” Ouch, they won’t make that mistake again. How much is the compensation for this rescue job?” I don’t know the exact amount- the Seer keeps that confidential- but from what Agumon and Spyro have told me about similar rescue jobs they have done, I would put the figure at around 10 million, give or so. Stripetail doesn’t nickel and dime , not his style.” I also got a  scroll oof Scars back. It had been stolen from his museum in the kingdom and as far as I am aware, it is the last item of his that was missing from the museum. He’ll be pleased to know that it is returned.” Putting the scroll back will put you at just about 100 percent similarity to Scar, there might be a few things that you are different in, but they are so small as to be inconsequential. And I know how much getting to fully match Scar means to you..” Hold on.. you mean. I did it. I’m finally at 100 percent? YES” Kovu shouted loudly in glee into the communicator.”  Thank you bro! Well done boy.” That’s not all dad. Kola says that gets me to 100 percent similarly with you.” Scar chuckled on the other end.” Really.. let me go down the list.. hmm . Has at least 1 billion in the bank.. oh ho hi yes.. your friend Mac just called to say you sold your 20 billionth case of perfume it was a case called Smell of Death. Mawa continued the ceremony for Flash taking over from Mona, he walked Flash thro uff h the 75 different steps and phrases, and the 13 ways to praise Ozai. Zoai and Mona brought both of them water to drink as the ceremony- which could be very long depending on sect and level of induction- reached a half hour.

Kovu had the biggest grin imaginable on his face as he made his way back to his hotel room which was serving as his unofficial kingdom while he was on this mission with the seer's team.

"You seem happy," Abu noted, still nobly standing guard as requested.

"You are now looking at the 100 percent identical heir of Scar," Kovu said with pride in his voice.

Like Kovu's family, Abu had known this was the young dark mane lion's dream, so he was pleased to see he was able to have it realized. "Congratulations, and I see you've put on some weight during the rescue huh?"

"The sumo mode of my armor is very powerful, though it seems it can't reverse it's own effects," Kovu explained. "But I know Kiara and Sima love me being bigger, and I like being this size. Time to see my ladies....."

Even as Oliver ingested plenty of the food at the restaurant, he still found himself being hungry. "I could use some more food," he grinned.

Arlene could recognize a smirk forming on Panty's face. "You want to bring him on his first Mother-Son hunting expedition, don't you?" the pink cat asked the goddess of hunting, knowing that Oliver would have to start somewhere.

Ollie was impressed. When he heard there would be over 100 questions as part of the ceremony, he assumed Flash would just get asked a small amount and they'd count those as enough. But indeed, Mawa was asking that many questions about Ozai, and Flash was giving well-versed answers to them all.

"This your dad's first time doing this ceremony for a non-Mawashiian?" Ollie asked Zoai.

"There have been a few in the past," Zoai whispered in reply.

"Hold on to me tight Po," Jing grinned as their turn in the couples surfing contest was coming up.

"Right, for balance," Po nodded.

Jing winked at her husband. "Well, that, and so you can get a chance to feel my hips," she giggled.

Once those are done, then yes I will take him on a hunt.  Where we will go well that’s a hunter’s secret. .” I need to get my allowance from Dixie.” Arlene nodded.” With Oliver’s growing appetite I’m going to need to constantly fill my pantry. I’ll have to go shopping on the ship, Gabuna mentioned there a Digifood store there now and I might get a few things there. Want to broaden Oliver’s pallet, of course. So he finds new things he likes.” Guam and Tita spoke up.” Miss Arlene, can we go with you to the store?” Rita asked.” I’d like to get a toy, the Wolfes doctor.” And I want a paddle game.” Guam said.” You know the type you hit back and forth. Dad was teaching me how to play.”   Guam pulled out some coins with  wolves on them.” Those are like 10 dollars each.” The older pup said.” We can pay for our things and Oliver’s too.” Certainly Guav.” Arlene said.” Oliver gets to pick first, that’s the only request. "So, have you decided on your announcement after the charity matches tomorrow, your highness?" Shifu asked Ozai, the sumo king's advisor taking notes. The boastful, big-bellied king had a surprise in mind for all his subjects, which he planned to reveal at the right moment.

"Well, whenever you do, just make sure our boy eats his fill," Arlene encouraged to Panty.

As Oliver was enjoying the meals provided to him by the restaurant, the demigod of hunting couldn't help but think the people around him almost looked good enough to eat, as well. But he opted to wait until the time was right.

"So many places to eat, where are we headed to next?" Oliver asked Panty as they entered the mall area.

The Burning Wick was a small Esbenshire tavern that catered mostly to magicfolk. Though with Wittenweld's proclamation, it had opened its doors to Muggles as well. Though under strict scrutiny from the Aurors.

"First time here?" one of the bartenders asked, upon noticing Nick's Spirarian badge. "Would you like anything to eat or drink while we wait out the fight?"

"Bombarda Maxima!" The building shuddered as someone in the nearby closed off street had cast the Bombardment spell.

A young woman brushed some dust off her robes. Complicating things in Esbenshire, Muggles tended to dress like Magicfolk and vice versa to cause trouble to the Aurors.

"The cemetery will have to wait. I doubt they're going to allow anyone not associated with the Ministry near an active crime scene," Captain Carson said. "But I can start an investigation on that wood." She then checked her watch. It was technically the end of the day, but she still had office hours.

"Headmaster Dumbledore," Captain Carson said. "I thank you for the efforts to assist us. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have office hours."

She then got up and exited the Headmaster's tower.

Sima and Kiara sat on the bed together watching the clock . Simas favorie sumo show was on, a girl sumo show called the Mawashii Smackers, where the girls used their maws his as weapons.  This almost always meant lots of pain for the bad guys on the show. Tonight’s episode was” Battle at Barca Stadium” where the ladies faced a rival team that treated the with disrespect even though  the Smackers mopped the ring with them regularly.” Been watching this show on Ozai tv for years.” Sima said. It’s a mix of the action , fashion and don’t give sumo throw about what someone else thinks. . The next season starts next month.” Sima  said Kiara’s phone buzzed and a picture of Kovu popped up.” Should be back in a few hours. Why don’t you pick out a nice place where we can have dinner? I’m  really in the mood for some breaded fish or shrimp, on big portions.” Kovu chuckled.” Whatever you want honey.” Kiara purred.

"Looks like I'll be winning our bet," Kiara smirked to Sima, "And that means I'll be the one who gets to make out with Kovu first upon his return." The two lionesses had made a wager with each other on how long it would take Kovu to return successful from his mission. The fact Kovu's message said he would be back in a few hours made it look like Kiara would be the victor.

Kovu was glad a sumo-themed program was on the tv, as they were always loud. Despite his immense size, since he saw his two main ladies fixated on the tv, the big dark maned lion managed to slowly tiptoe over to them without catching their attention.

"Miss me?" he grinned suddenly, leaning down between the two of them.

Tarrax looked at Threed with a smile on his face " EVERYTHING?" The dragon chuckled" The file on Chongs two escape attempts, alone , run 6000 and 6500 pages. The war in Surf Point? 12000. Everything on him? At least 11.5 billion pages. Here you go. Tarrax snapped his claws and  brown binders with 'Chong 'written on them began pulling up in stacks . there was extensive notes on Chongs hometown, upbringing and criminal history, along with analysis of his magical abilities and proclivities. It was  clear that Tarrax and Stripetail had kept exhaustive records on Chong, not surprisingly given all the trouble he had caused over the years." Tarrax turned to Kit as the files kept stacking" I don't know why Chong was not on the Chrononauts radar, possibly because there were more dangerous evils than him out there that they knew about and made a higher priority to deal with." Tarrax said."

"And yet, didn't think to pick up the phone and--ow!" Threed glared at Kit while nursing his elbow. "Seriously, girl. There was no need to pinch me!"

Kit ignored him as she stepped toward the stack of brown files. "This is all you have? As dangerous as this guy is, I was expecting fifty-thousand pages at least."

"Mm. Likely." Threed said in response to Tarrax. "The Chrononauts do love to analyze their 'priority targets' and whatnot. That's why Kit and I are often so busy -- we're the ones that have to mount up and clean up the messes they didn't want to."

Kit revealed an odd device which began to scan each and every one of Chong's files. After a few minutes, she sighed.

"Speaking of the Chrononauts," she began, "I downloaded the files and sent them to Chronopolis to review."

Threed blinked. "Why didn't you use the information biolink data transfer tool?"

"Because, I don't feel like reading all of that."

"Huh? B-But you just said the page count wasn't impressive!"

Kit, again ignoring Threed, continued, this time talking to the dragon. "Regardless of whether they let Chong run amok or not, they'll have no choice but to play ball once they review that entire packet. It might take a bit so . . . can we get a tour of Hogwarts?"

"What is there to take a tour of?" Threed put in. "Something, something. The muggle world. The Boy Who Lived. Oh--and the last time I read the novels, they were still hung-up on anyone saying 'Voldemort'."

Now, it was Kit's turn to blink. "Threed, what the hell are you blabbering about now?"

"Huh? Oh--nothing! Nothing at all, haha."

Because the fear of him on this world is so great that they fear even his name. .” Tarrax replied. . There are a few exceptions to that of course. Headmaster Dumbledore. Potter and his friends.and a few others.I imagine the fear was similar with Grindelwald, who was the last Dark wizard to reach such notoriety, from the research I have been able to do. There aren’t many Dark wizards to become that powerful. or feared, or both, in Pottermore history. Those that did, plunged the world into very dark times.”


As for Chong, I expect he will try to reach out to Voldemort, to reach a mutual accord, if he hasn’t already. What profit either side could gain from that, is hard to say. But what is certain, is that will be a very great danger to this world, as nothing those two can agree on is a positive thing.” Tarrax sighed.

“However, the Ministry is... not keen on us just wandering around sticking our nose into things.  They are also dealing with an insurgency,led by a group called Pinkstone, so, even if they were more amenable to us going after Chong- which they are not-  they are currently occupied with other matters..

Now, any suggestions you have for trying to track Chong down will be appreciated. " At the mention of exploring Hogwarts, he nodded.” I’m sure a tour can be arranged. There are several floors in each tower, although the stairs seem to have a mind of their own, they move around so much that  finding your way around is difficult. I’ll find Professor McGonagall and set something up for you, if you prefer. " Tarrax offered.

I mean, I don't recall if you did so in the novels, but--" he paused to look over at Kit, whose wrist watch was blinking bright blue. "That'll likely be Chronopolis then, Kit."

"No shit, Threed." A blue holographic screen appeared in front of her, bathing her face in light of the same color in the dimly lit castle.

That's where he saw it: H.A.K.A.I. Threed gulped. "A-Are they serious? They want us to H.A.K.A.I not only Chong, but anyone he's even managed to get his little grubby hands on? Anyone that has ever or will ever work with him? At all period?"

"It, uh, seems that way." Kit replied, having lost most of her fuel to jab at Threed sarcastically.

"Er, oh. Well uh, see if you can get Admin on the phone. It doesn't hurt to double-check with the blue men themselves, after all."

Kit nodded. "On it."

"Oh, Tarrax," Threed said to the dragon. "I'm afraid we'll have to rain-check that tour. But I do need a few favors from you, if you would be so kind . . ."

 Certainly. just out of curiosity , Thread,  what does H. A. K.A.I stand for? From your  reaction, I'm presuming it is the harshest penalty your organization hands down?' Tarrax asked. ' Also,  what sort of favors do you need?';"he asked.  " I will let Stripetail know about these developments. as for why we did not simply kill Chong, we felt  magical imprisonment was a sufficient deterrent. We did not account for incompetence on the part of the prison security" the large dragon sighed. "  How much damage through the multi cosmos is attributable to, at the basest level,  the incompetence of some guard at some prison?  "

"To be hakai'd, is arguably a fate worse than death. Depending on your view of determinism and right-to-exist. There were campaigns about it during the Groundhog Skirmishes. But anyway . . . when Chronopolis green lights a H.A.K.A.I. they are tasking those of us who keep spacetime safe with your total and utter erradication. One does not simply 'die' in the perfectly mortal sense of the word. You just . . . " Threed trailed off and blinked.

"What he means is," Kit said, filling in the blanks and putting it simply, "is that in some way, you exist at all times. Chong, for example. We kill him in this timeline here, he'll live on in others. Branching and things like that. With a H.A.K.A.I. order, you cease to be. You are literally wiped from every existance, in every timeline, in every dimension. Every span of every possible timeline. And even creating spinoff dimensions or realities won't work. The best someone could do to revive a hakai'd individual is download their core memories of said person and fertilize them in a pocket reality or dimension, and they still run the risk of ceasing to be due to quantum rebound. Simply put--"

"Simply put," Threed cut in, "it's the worst of the worst punishment for the most dangerous offenders. Once your quantum signature is hakai'd, you cannot exist. Ever. Again."

"In case you're wondering, quantum rebound is literally spacetime itself peeling away at your existence because you no don't belong within existence. It's very serious stuff, and-"

"And we're not carrying out a H.A.K.A.I."

"I double-checked, Threed. Admin says we're green. They're offering us support at a battalion level, in addition to the resources of the TSPD."

"A B-Battalion of--no! I won't be tempted by their shiny white and blue toys and soldiers. Kit, we're not carrying this out. I don't mind imprisoning him for all eternity, or even simply killing him, but to pursue all his variants across existence? They have-"

" 'A right to exist', yes. I've heard it a thousand times. But what if Chong is more dangerous than we originally thought? If he's powerful enough, and he gets his way, nothing will exist. Not as we know it, anyway."

"Kit . . . you bloody daft girl! Think of what you're saying! A H.A.K.A.I. means reality itself will prevent Chong from ever existing again. EVER. Not just his variants, but any spans or timelines that are created as spin-offs. Not to mention, the datasheet said POSSIBLE H.A.K.A.I. They're still, as of yet, recommending termination. A far cleaner way of dealing with him, no? We simply locate his lair or whatever he's using, pop him once in the noggin with a laser bolt, and our mission is done."

"You know as good as I do that even a 'possible' H.A.K.A.I. eventually turns into a compulsory order. It's only a matter of time. Besides . . . are you willing to go against the entire force?"

Without missing a beat, Threed turned to Tarrax. "I will need at least a squadron of your most capable wizards. Not students, mind you. But fully-fleged, post-graduation wizards. And I need them trained in the Dark Arts. Do not ask why--just produce them. Oh--and I need you to understand something, yes? I will not attempt to capture this individual. I shall dispatch him. Not a H.A.K.A.I. of course, but this version of Chong will no longer live. Which means the final favor needed is a promise. A promise that you will do whatever hocus-pocus you need to ensure he stays dead. Savvy, friend? I am risking a lot by doing this, after all. As Kit said, 'tis only a matter of time until they enforce the H.A.K.A.I. and deem a mere killing unacceptable."
