For about a week after his received a concussion in this incident (http://www.gangoffive.net/index.php?topic=10643), Littlefoot wasn't quite right in the head.

Grandma Longneck:  "It is dinner time Littlefoot!"

Littlefoot:  "Dinner!  Oh boy!"

Petrie:   :crazy

Ducky:  "I think that the collision made his head flatter, yep, yep, yep!"
