Like Bulk & Skull in the MMPR era? for some reason Blackguilmon gives me a funny image in my mind of Velma having a digimon. No idea why the image popped into my mind.

The idea of him gaining a partner did pop into my mind as I was contemplating him, granted he isn't likely to go into it willingly, since he prefers to think of himself as independent.

Yeah, like Bulk and Skull, only Blackguilmon could actually fight if he had to.

I didn't mean for blackguilmon to be Velma's digimon, just an idea & image I had. I've seen a few episodes of each of the 3 seasons, but don't know anything really about Digimon. If anything he'd likely stay independent or maybe reverse the digimon thing thing and have Bulk & Skull work for him as his lackeys maybe.

If I want to give Velma a digimon I'd have no idea which one would suit her best. Or make her into a magical girl, or maybe a dragon's familiar. or leave her the same.

Perhaps Gatomon, which is a cat Digimon, IIRC. Leave her the same person, but with some awareness of magic..

I can tell. Each digimon can do certain "attacks' such as pepper breath, ice blaster, etc, which are "magical" in nature. Velma's really smart , so she'll figure out the digimon has special powers very quickly..

I still don't understand what you are going at.

Maybe best to have her go the route of something simple since I don't understand much, like the supersentai or magical girl route.

Well, in Lilo and Stitch, they pased Stitch off as a dog, and in the show Digimon, the characters let their Digimon go around with them, and the people around them didn't seem to notice or care..

People are not going to care in this world, that a digimon walks around with Velma, strange pairing happen all the time in this world..
