By the way I'd like to point out she looks really bad in the first picture, it's a really bad one of her, but it's a thousand times worse when she gives that smile a second later. It makes me cringe!

Within the original movie there is some color variation between brown and greyish shades depending on the light (this goes for other characters too by the way. Littlefoot for example appears yellow in a scene shortly after meeting Ducky). In case of any images from LBT 10 I'm afraid color differences of Littlefoot's mother need to be blamed on a total lack of any concern whatsoever of some makers of LBT 10 for what the original movie had told.
