Long ago, when the nation of Mordrivale was at war with the Roman empire, its king summoned a wizard similar to that of Merlin and said to him "we cannot stay here much longer, as we are being hunted like vermin by the Romans,we ask ye to create a gate out of this place", the wizard then formed a tome, that contained a spell, if one uttered said spell it would take them away to another world, and it has been said that those who are taken are never seen again. The king and queen each were taken to this place as the Roman empire overtook and destroyed their city, the wizard and the tome, disappeared,never to be seen again...
Until Now.
September,2010.
It was a hot summer day,as John AKA Belmont2500 walked, trying to clear his head of all things, then he stopped in his tracks because what lay ahead of him, was what seemed to be an old library. This was usually something that John would glance at once and then walk passed, but something about caught his interest so he went in.
The main enterance was missing a door and some of the walls seemed crumbled
in one area a pipe was broken and it sprayed water over onto a what seemed like a desk, John then walked to some book shelves before he looked upon a large book laying on a table. John tried to read its title but it was in a language that he could not understand,regardless, he opened the book and saw that what was written on the inside was in english "this tome is a passage to Eymreil, only those who wish to leave there world completely should come as they may never return" John read, below the writing were strange words that seemed like a spell: "Ulna Nuana Cynia".
Out of curiousity John whispered it, immediately after the tome began to glow and John suddenly felt as if he was being pulled towards the book, suddenly he vanished without a trace.

A Short while later, Nick, on vacation from his job, stopped at the lights we\hile jogging. the old library caught his eye, and being a history buff and lover of anything old and odd, he decided to invesitigate. He crept inside the building, avoiding the pools of water on the floor and wiping away the cobwebs that hung oin the air. it was then he noticed footprints leading into another room: Someone had been here recently.. "Hello?' He called out, somewhat foolishly, you never knew what sort of person might use such a ruin as a hideout, like a gang or drug dealers or even the mob. still nick, being the curious type went side, and found himself in a room full of dusty bookshelves it was while perusing these books that he noticed one lying on the floor, it was written in a strange language and oddly, felt warm to the touch.. Nick opened the book, and looked inside, it to his surprise he could read it! "This book is a passage to EYMREIL, only those who wish to leave their world behind completely, should come, as those who come may never return..below this was more strange writing
ULNA NUANA CYNIA! Nick read allowed Suddenly the boom glowed bright, and room seemed to spin and Nick was lifted his feet and thrust forwards towards a door of light. in an instant he vanished.

"Are you you awake,young lad" a voice spoke, John slowly opened his eyes and found that he was not in the old library but in what seemed like a small town, "young lad" the voice spoke again, "I'm awake" John said as he got up and saw that the one who spoke to him was a middle aged man in medivel-syle clothing. "You don't look like you're from around here,outlander" he said "you could say that,where am I anyway" John replied "that would be Lascivia" the man replied,looking a bit confused.
"I see, the name's John"
"Aylwin be my name"
"Well I believe I should be going now, goodbye" John said as he walked off...

Nick was flung forward and landed in a pile of straw. Where the heck am i? he myuttered
Where are you? you're in prison, simpleton! came a harsh voice nearby
Pr-prison nick said But I haven't done anything wrong! he said noticing there were thick bars spread across a door. a tall thin guard stood there learing at him. "You haven't done anything wrong? he mocked " then why are you in prison..
Um.. i forget to pay my last months rent? Nick said..
Debtors.. the guard sighed.. well you're in here until you can pay up.. the guard said..

Noma, an argonian, sighed once she was back outside. She had been out gathering some plant parts to make potions with. Then she'd go to the merchant to sell some there and some others to the mage guild. She was a member of both the mage and fighter guilds. She had finished selling the potions and was thinking what to do next.

so.. how am I here? Nick asked.. ' Deopends on how much you owe.. since you say you owe months rent, you're in here a month" the guard said disppearing down a hallway...

"I haven't seen that lad around" said a townswoman as John walked into the Lascivia tavern, many townsfolk stared and muttered things like "what's with those odd clothes he's wearing" or "he hasn't got a sword or a bow, he's dead already". When John walked up to the counter, the bartender asked "what would you like,outlander", John thought for a moment before a guard entered the tavern and walked up to where he was standing.
"Are you the one you came into town" the guard asked
"I guess, it depends on what you mean by 'came into town'"
"By order of the king you are here by arrested for disturbing the peace"
John was both shocked and confused, he had only arrived minutes ago and was sure he hadn't done anything to disturb anyone.
"I think you have the wrong guy,I just got here" John remarked
"oh no,I have the person I'm looking for" the guard said as he grabbed John's arm and proceeded to drag him off to the prison.
When they arrived there, John had already decided he didn't want to be there, but knew that it would be worthless to attempt to escape while he was still in the guard's sight, when they went in John was immediately assigned a cell and was taken there by the same guard, as they approached the cell John saw that there were two others in there, another human, and what appeared to be a reptilian humanoid creature, "um...can't we talk this over" John asked the guard only to be thrown into the cell, he landed on the stone floor but quickly got up and ran for the door, only to have the guard shut it in his face.
"Well, it can't get any worse than this" John thought out loud...

You think so huh? Well, try reading a srtrange book that ends up sending you to a stranger prison" Nick said looking at the newcomer.. " i have no idea why i'm stuck in this place, but it looks like I'm not getting out.. neither are you aopparently.. well, the names Nick, if you're curious, or bored..

"So it happened to you too, my name is John but many call me Belmont, after a certain legend" John responded,hoping to start a conversation.

Belmon, like the Belmon Stakes? Interesting, Nick said.. Say.. i have an idea.. start tapping the walls, I remrmber there was this one videogame where you tapped the walls and a secret door opened up" Nick said..

It was then that Aylwin had arrived at the prison. He soon arrived at John and Nick's cell after having a conversation with the guard.
"A relief your still alive,that guard would've killed you if given permission" he explained
"Did you think me dead" John asked
"When word came that you had been arrested,yes, but you are now free to go"
a guard,who held the keys to the cell, unlocked the door "go on or I'll lock you back in" he said.

John couldn't believe that he had been let off so easily,it wasn't always like that in Medival times.
"You coming" he asked Nick.

Sure.. thanks for the help' Nick said as he quickly headed out of the cell.. Now where should go next?'
In the nearby city of Chorral, Dar ma was preparing for her daily chores " I wonder what goods we will sell today' she said to herself as she stood outside Nporthern Goods and Trade... She had once been rescued by a nameless adventurer, she secretly had hoped to ask him to marry her, but he had disappeared into the Wild shortly afterwards.

Noma headed to the nearest bar to get a drink and some food to decide what to do with the rest of her day. Plenty of time to decide, she thought.

What is the nearest town from hgere? Nick asked the guard. "Chorral camde the harsh reply. " Just stay out of trouble you two, otherwise you both will be back in here before you know it..

Guess we should head to Chorral then.. Nick whispered to Belmont..

Upon hearing Nick's words, John realised he hadn't prepared for the journey. "Indeed,but I need to find a blacksmith and get a few things before we depart" he explained.

we will need a few things, certainly, " Nick replied. " I'm sure there will be a blacksmith and places to rest in Chorral.. lets head out, before we get into any more trouble.. the sun shone brightly overhead as the two of them walked towards the gates of the city..

As John and Nick left Lascivia for Chorral, a female Khadijat,a species of feline-like humanoids, sensed danger but knew not where it would strike, she had heard of their arrival and feared that they would be heading towards their own demise.

Once at the bar Noma ordered a drink so she could drink it while looking to see what sorts of food was available in the place and which of the food looked and smelled appraising.

Nick took the lead heading down the trail. it was rather hot, and Nick was soon working up a sweat. he was not used to carrying all the supplies Belmont had loaded oonto him.. " In a few minutes Belmont, we need a break

_ seed Neus called her daughter, "Time for lunch Dar ma' She said. from the doorway.

"Sure and-" John was interruped by the sound of a whip and some whinning. "What now" John said as he headed towards the sound only to be greeted by a grim-looking man whipping a white stallion.
"Sir,might I ask what you are doing" John asked angerily, the man turned to him with a look of disgust
"This horse decided not to be obediant so I'm teaching him a lesson"
"Well,if you whip that horse again I'll be teaching you a lesson"
"Are you threatening me?" the man said grimly
"That I am,just drop the whip, leave the stallion and no one will get hurt"
"why,the king will have your head,boy!",the man lunged,but John quickly dodged him and elbowed him in the back , before turning to his fallen body
"I will be taking this horse since you can't treat it properly,do I make myself clear" John said
"Fine, take the stupid animal" the man said quietly
"I heard that,you fool" John said as he turned and walked up to the horse, "you shan't worry about that man any longer" he said to the stallion,whose ears pointed up.
"You need a name How about Alkimos" John explained before saddling Adonis and soon he walked back to where Nick was at "Well,we can forget about walking to Chorral" John inquired.

Usually, you have to BUY horses" Nick said climbing on the back of the horse and steadying himself. " Lets just hope we don't get bounties on us for horse-stealing..."
He muttered as the horse began to trot down the path..

"I doubt anyone will care, the idiot that was torturing him seemed more like a lowlife instead of an authority figure" John explained as he walked along side Alkimos

Still it was his horse.. ownership gives a person a lot of leeway in treating his possessions, remember Belmont we're not in modern times anymore so what we're used to doesn't apply here. Heck i doubt if these plsaces have indoor [lumbing' Nick cracked as they crossed a small hill..

"I wouldn't mind how someone treats his possessions, as long as those possessions aren't living things. " John explained.
"Also back in Lascivia I heard about this land's king, a sorcerer and dictator. You would very well know what that means, it means that, as long as this foolhardy tyrant is in charge, anything goes" he continued as he patted Alkimos' side.

Noma picked her food out and went to a table to sip her drink as she waited for her meal to come.

In College I studied history, so I know very well what a dictator is. But in a monarchy there is no such thing as a dictator. There are good kings, and bad kings.The king you are refering to is clearly the latter, a tyrant" Nick replied as they approached the gates to Chorral..

The sun was setting,slowly hiding behind the mountains in the distance.

the outline of Chorral appeared as the climbed over a small hill.. we're going to need to find a place to stay tonight, hopefully we'll make it to that city, before it gets too dark" Nick said as a horse carrying a armored guard passed them by...

Noma sipped her drink till her food came then started to eat her food once it arrived.

"There's bound to be an Inn somewhere, I suppose"

Lets hope theres one in Chorral.. My feet are killing me.. Hopefully someone will point us to the nearest inn" nick said as they reacjhed the gates of chorral which opened to let them pass..

The duo passed a tavern as they rode and walked deep into Chorral. "Right" John responded to Nick's statement as he took Alkimos' reins "search for an Inn, I'm heading to that stable in the distance and then to a blacksmith" he continued before riding off.

I hope you have some money, because all I got is paper money, i've got, lets see 13 bucks in paper money.. I'll just say I'm from a fireign land.. which is true enough" Nick shrugged as he headed past a large oak tree/..

"It might work,I do have a rare $1.00 coin on me, it could be something to trade" John commented.

"They're here" the Khajiit said as her eyes flickered open. "In Chorral? Lady Ashni" said Crito, a thin man in his early 30's. "Yes, you must bring them here,quickly I sense dark magic coming closer and closer to Chorral" Ashni responded as she got up from her meditating position.

Give it here then" Nick replied.. They were approaching the oak and Crosier which served as one of the inns in town.. " Lets hope they have rooms for rent.. " Nick said..' and that they are not too expensive.." He added as he opened the door to the Inn. What can I do for you? A Khajit said to him after hhe and John entered ' we would like two rooms please , for the nght' Nick said ' thats 20 gold, the Khajit, whose name was Talasma said.. " We don't have gold,m, but we do have some paper money. Nick said offering the money to her, which she waved off" We take gold here sir, but I'll tell you want.. I'll give you the rooms for tonight, but..You'll have to do me a few favors tomorrow as payment. Alright? now don't tell anywone I did this for you, or everyone will be stiffing me. your rooms are on the second floor one is on the far left,m one is on the far right..

Noma started on her food, thinking what she would do next.

John headed to his room and lit the lantern that sat on the nightstand next to the bed as the sky darkened.
It was then that the terrifying sound of the screams of townspeople filled the air, John immediatly stuck his head out of the window and caught sight of knights in crimson armor impaling townsmen and torching buildings, John wanted to wonder what they were doing here, but decided it would be best not to remain in Chorral.

Dar Ma fled through the Darkness, her mother behind her "To the Oajk and Croister! Hurry1 SeedNeeus Cried. Dar ma didn't hesitate rushing into the hotel and fleeing up the stairs.
We are under attack Seed Neeus said to Talsma " go to the second floor" Talsma said
Nick was awoken with the sound of loud knocking on the door ' He oipened it and Dar Ma rushed in the room please Sir! We are underattack! Do you mind if I stay in your room for aawhile I'm Dar ma. My mother runs the local trading cebter

thats a rather strange name " dar Ma laughed.. some of her former joviality coming back' Well thank you for letting me in .. ' can you help drive the invaders out..
Well I don't even have a sword or any sort of weapon 'Nick replied.. ar ma reached into her bag and pulled out a pair of swords. ' here' take the iceblade of Tariel. it will freeze enemies' she said.. 'well after we drive them out i'm leaving , well after paying the innkeeper for the rooms..Nick said " could i come with you/ You are an explorer right? I've longed to see the world outside chiorral, my experience has been limited to trips to Hackdirt..
_ Sure, it would be nice to have a companion to talk too..' nick agreed ' now stay here and i'll go get john.. ' he said taking the sword from darma, and climbed into bed.. and pulled the covers over her.. " Don't open the door unless its me " nick said, 'wait Give me the other blade too, John will need a weapon.. " Its on the table " dar ma said.. Nick took the other sword nodded to Dar ma and hurried out..

he knocked on the door ' John! We need to drive the attackers out! a agorian gave me a pair of swords. one is for you, and the other for me..

"Thanks" John spoke as he got up from a crouching position and grasped a sword, "we must leave Chorral, quickly".

we're not going salone.. Nick said ' follow me.. ' he said going out and heading for his room ' He knocked on the door " change of plans Dar Ma. we need to go..
Dar Ma quickly grabbed her things and opened the door for nick ' Er.. Nice to meet you I'm Dar ma..' She said to John
you can introduce yourself later' nick said. ' Just come ioon.. ' can I bring Blossom? Dar Ma asked.. " shes my horse.. Shes tied up at the stable behind the store.. "
The sounds of battle of screaming townsfolk were getting louder as the three of them went down the stairs Seed Neeus rushed to them " Dar ma 1 where are you going?
These humans are going to fight off the invaders and are going to let me accompany them.. Dar Ma said Seed Neeus reached inside her dress and pulled out a amulet " this amulet will protect you.. " she said putting it on Dar Ma. you take care of my daughter' she said firmly to Nick ' if anything happens to her , I will have your hide..."

"No harm shall come to her,m'lady" John said before turning to Dar Ma "I guess we should be heading to the stable then" he explained before drawing his sword. Suddenly one of the crimson-clad knights noticed them...

Yes Dar Ma said rushed outside with Nick His sword drawn Close behind. Get the horse! Nick said as he and Dar ma rushed out towards the stable behind Northern goods. several houses were burning and knights were rushing here and there swinging blades after townpeople.. " Hold them off while I get Blossoim Dar Ma said as three knights charged after Nick. Nick swung his sword at them sending a blue steam of ice at the knights slowking them briefly..

John immediatly perried the dark knight's blow and struck it's helm before dodging a vertical slash from his foe's claymore before he finally thrusted his sword into a place that the knight's armor didn't sheild.
John then ran, into the stables to get his horse, he immediatly kicked the stable door down and ran to the place Alkimos was tied up, the stallion wasn't in anyway calm, "Come on boy, we have to leave" John spoke, but it didn't seem to bring Alkimos back sanity until John uttered "Stay calm or we're both gonna die", that seemed to bring the stallion back to his senses.

Dar Ma rushed forward on Blossom, and knocked over the kinghts : jhop on! Dar Nma Cried and Nick slowly climbed on " just Hang on to me" Da Ma Said as she hurried out twards the gates to chorral. a number of knights were chasing after then now.

A minute later, John emerged from the stable on horseback, sword in hand he began cutting down the dark knights one by one as he rode past.

the kinghts charged e masse after the three riders, with Dar Ma riding blossom as fast as she could go " where should we go? Dar Ma asked.. Skingrad is the nearest large city, though I've never been there..
_ Just ride ! Nick yelled " they're right behind us.. ' I have a couple poitions in my bag " What am I supposed to do with those? Do I look like Gandalf or Merlin?I don't know magic! Nick cried out.. " You cast the spells at them Dar Ma replied over the rustling wing as Blossom raced down the trail, arrows just missing them " you got anything else in your bag " No, Besides the Swords and potions all i brought along was my diary..
_ Oh , I see.. And you write all your personal thoughts into it.. "yes so don't go snooping around in my Diary" dar Ma saidd. Why would i read a girl's diary..

I would rather you not read it all the same.." Dar Ma said as they conttinued down the path which went past a number of ruins..the knight were still in hot pursuit..

"T'would be best if you two were silent and focused on the terrain, we'll have time for introductions later" John inquired, it was then their persuers ceased their chase, "at least we won't have to worry about them...for now".

Upon hearing Dar ma's words, John pulled Alkimos to a halt, "how can you be sure its safe to go back, those vermin could be waiting" he asked.

i need to get my things, who knows when i'll have another opportunity.." Da ma replied ' We need to get back there. just to make sure the knights are gone.. Once they are then we can head out again..."
_ shes right, and we have to repay the innkeeper for her room" Nick said.. as Dar Ma turned Blossom vack towards Chorral

The innkeeper, had John forgotten? Maybe, and so he decided he couldn't go against Dar Ma's or Nick's decision. "fine, let's go" he said calmly.

The trio kept to the trial but trials of smoke could be seen in the distances, most likely from Chorral " Dar Ma picked up the pace as they approached the gate to chorral which showed signs of being damaged ' once inside the extent of the destruction was clear. several houses had been reduced to ashes and several townspeople lay dead in the streets.. Lets hurry to your hoise so you can get your things " nick said holding on close to Dar Ma..

It was then that the Khaijat,Ashni, caught sight of the two young ones and the aragonian, she walked toward them and and grabbed John's left shoulder,causing him to quickly turn to her, drawing his sword, but lowering it when he saw the person facing him was unarmed.
"I have forseen your arrival, you and your friends must come with me. We have much to discuss" the khaijat muttered "about what, who are you anyway" John asked but Ashni simply beckoned them to follow her.

Well lead the way" Dar Ma said " Shes a Khaijat.' she whispered to Nick " usually friendly enough.. but all races have thier ups and downs..good and bad folk..'
_ Where are you taking us? Nick asked " Dar Ma needs to get a few things from her home first.."

"To my home, You shan't be there long" Ashni spoke. "That's a relief, though I am quite curious as to know what she wants from us" John explained. It wasn't long before a weathered hut that didn't seem to be affected by the recent attack on Chorral.

Dar ma got off of bloosom and tied her to a rail. nick stretched his legs after riding on a horse for the past couple hours ' nick entered the house to find a set of small chairs set around a small freplace a bed laay in the corner. it was a fairly spartan hut from the looks of it.

"Take a seat" Ashni said before explaining that she was seen visions of the John,Nick and Dar Ma before going on "you two have come from a great distance, a parallel world as many have said, is this true" she asked
At first, John was reluctant to anwser but after a minute of debate he uttered "indeed m'lady" instead of clear aknowledgment.

yes we have " nick said softly. Dar ma glanced at him.. ' so you really are from another world.. ' she said in a hushed voice ' i knew there was something about you Nick..something that drew me to you.. oh if only you weren't a human.. she giggled..
nick blushed.. ' anyhow so what was in this vision?' he asked switching the subject. "Are I supposed to be some sort of hero, destined to do great things, save the world sort of thing..'
I'll be interested to see what part I play in this prophecy" Dar Ma said I mean I'm just an ordinary Argorian, the daughter of a local merchant..

"For sometime,it has been said that warriors would come from a distant place and free Eymreil from the evil that looms over it" the Khaijat spoke,gazing at Nick and John
John noticed this and quicky spoke up: "There must be some misunderstanding, I doubt ethier of us are warriors of any kind, I've only held a sword twice in my entire life".

i'm not very good at physical things "Nick added. ' so its more about them, and nothing about anyone who may come to help them in thier quest' Dar Ma shrugged. ' so it doesn't say what species they are right? for all we knew they could be strangelky dressed imperials..' she said..

"Not exactly,my dear.The prophecy mentions other warriors alongside them" Ashni spoke
"I guess we won't be going seperate ways anytime soon" John said to Dar Ma...

Dar Ma smiled briefly.. " So where are we going Sorceress? I'm ready to embark on this adventure..."
_ Yes, take us where the three of us can learn more about this prophecy, and what exactly will be required of us to fulfill it?' Nick said " For now I think a little rest is needed, John and i have had a very interesting and stressful day..

"Cernobog,the one who rules all of Eymreil,and the dark prince Apep that will engulf this world in darkness - you must not let this happen" Ashni explained...

So this dark prince guy is trying to take over Eymreil..ok, overthrowing a bad guy isn't exactly something i have experience in' Nick said ' we'd need an army to tak him on..
I have heard that Apep has allied himself with border Agorians Dar Ma Said we'll need some way to infiltrate them..find out what they're up too.. dar Ma said.. pondering..

I knew I forgor something " Nick said slapping his face. " Can you give us some direction to where we can begin our search?" He asked Ashni " After all you know this place better than we do.."
