Gone for a week

Hello,
I'm going on a one week vacation to Holland with an aunt, uncle, and two cousins of mine. I'm hoping for some rest and distraction and I'm taking soapstones and files along with me, so I hope I can show something for it when the vacation is over. Of course I won't have any internet access where I am going so I won't be back before october 6th or 7th.

So I guess I better start reading. It is incredible how much one gets to catch up with in a mere week. A good sign for the activity of our community I suppose.

Some things are to be told indeed, e.g. how a whole branch of my family was "infested" with an "If we hold on together - earworm", how Spike was shaped, broken, and repaired, a minor encounter with some Platvoet and zijn Vriendjes software, and many other things. However, I'm still trying to catch up with one week of GOF posts and there are several which would require very long responses. At the same time I'm very tied up with preparations for moving out from home and other stuff. Therefore I may be a bit slow, but there are things to be told and be told they shall be
