My attempt at making a animation cel

I had a go at making a old school hand coloured animation cel like how they used to make 2D media back in the day.

I did a picture of my OC Josh holding Cera

First I did a rough sketch

Then outlined it with a blue pen so it would be easier when I inked it on the acetate sheet.

Here's the cel with the black inked picture.

As some may already know animation cel are painted at the back.

Here's the cel fully coloured.

Here it is over a picture of a background I printed off.

Well what do you guys think? Bare in mind this is my first time ever doing this, and I know I went a bit out of the lines here and there.
Though I may try something like this again sometime.
