Members Meeting the Characters

I'm not sure if this has been done already.

I was thinking of us playing as ourselves and meeting the characters in LBT.
It would start with us doing something like watching LBT, posting on the GOF, or doing anything LBT related. Then we would be sucked into the world that is Land Before Time.

RULES:

1. Post accordingly and respectfully. If you posted once one day, wait for someone else to post and then post again.

2.  Play as yourself, either in the form of a “dinosona” (a dinosaur version of yourself) or as your regular human self. You may switch between the two forms, or stay in one form the whole time. You can even change to different dinosaur species if desired or believe it would make a nice plot point.

3. Don't control another person's character. Stick to your own characters.

4. Play only the maximum of characters that YOU can handle. If you find the amount you are playing too overwhelming, feel free to "set them up for adoption" by saying so in this thread and see if anyone else wants to play the characters. You may use an OC as one of your characters as well.

Rules will be added if needed be.

It was started by Aves Loooong ago but stalled due to his being very busy, the last post being late May of 2008.  The rp, if you want to read it for tips is at: http://z7.invisionfree.com/thegangoffive/i...topic=2748.0   I can't find the discussion thread.  

As I've said to others this is one of the types of rp plots that can be done from time to time since as new members who like to rp come in they may enjoy rping in it & were not here for the earlier  ones.  Same as the idea behind the first Sleep & Remember rp where it is the same as the first LBT movie, but is oc's only.

As you may see if you read it, the folks participating were turned into dinos once they got to the Great Valley.  Not sure if that is your idea, if everyone stays human, or a mix.

No reason I can see another rp with the same basic plot can't be started.  Like I said above, and have said before to some other folks, it is one of the 2 rp plots that can be done every year or few years, to let new players have a chance to play in the rp who were not there for the previous ones, or those folks who were & don't mind having fun rping in that sort of rp with that plot again.

I actually think that Rat_lady7's idea is good athough we would obivously have to refer to ourselves using our usernames and it would be odd to be walking on the street and to be refering to youself like that but anyhow this is a good idea so lets do it

Someone may like to be Ali, not sure.  If Pterano is there will it be set during the 7th movie, or after the 5 cold times where he can return, or the events in the 7th movie never happened?

If Bron can be there, Shorty would likely be visiting also.  Maybe Ali also.  To give the players more fc's they can rp as.  Up to you though.  I may bring in an oc or more of mine.
